I’ve requested breakfast packs as I left before breakfast were being served which were brought up to my room promptly every evening. Quiet environment. Safe & convenient parking. Room 13 was spacious (family room) Neat & clean bedding. Convenient little kitchen with everything you need (Double door fridge, microwave oven, cutlery, crockery, kitchen sink, (which is an added extra in a hotel or lodge bedroom) kettle with the usual complimentary tea, coffee, milk & sugar supplies.

There was an awful smell in the room caused by a humidifier that was supposed to hide the mouldy smell. The fragrance was so strong that I had to open all the windows each evening to let fresh air in & even all my unused laundry/luggage had to be re washed when I got home, to get rid of the strong smell (almost like fumigation smell) Attention to detail as well as some maintenance to the building on the inside would also be suggested as the entrance hall & other common areas in the main building’s walls were a little dirty, especially at the stairway, which is commonly found with the large amount of traffic up & down the stairs. Other than that, it was quite a pleasant experience with professional & friendly staff. The amenities were also great, with safe parking & a quiet environment.

I liked the location , it's nicely tucked in a quiet street, but still close to malls .We enjoyed the food, breakfast and the dinner was delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

It was very cold that week ,and so I felt that the aircon was not performing to my satisfaction .

Everything from their friendly staff, to their secured place and near rooms,well functuoning wifi and aircon.. The outdoor facilities are the best...a very nice place to even chill has outdoor tv,microwave,fridge,braai place. I HIGHHHHHLY RECOMEND THE PLACE

The room warmed up so well, this was a bonus for me as we had a kid. The room was also very spacious. The lady who was at reception when we arrived gave us a best welcome - good first impression. The place looked n felt safe and that gave us a restful sleep. Safety was key when deciding where to spend the night

The shower mixer😭 took long to get hot water and also not easy to get a good mix of cold n hot water

I loved the rooms, kitchen space, aircons, TV and the channels. There was a spacious fridge, clean linens, a cute rusk on each side of the bed. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. The parking spaces are good They provided body wash, shampoo, water tp drink in bottles Tea, coffee, sugar, milk The kitchen is basically fully equipped

The microwave wasnt big enough for me to steriloze my baby's bottles The main bathroom had many dead ants aroumd the toilet The curtain rail at the entrance is broken and almost hit my husband and baby while walking in

Reception was absolutely amazing. Went out of their way to accommodate our early morning breakfast requests.

It is one of the worst experiences. We drove 9. 30 hours only to end up in this place that was suppose to be a 4 star. No Hot water TV Broken WiFi password not working WHEN PULLING THE BEDDING BACK. IT WAS FULL OF HAIR AND DIRTY. So bedding between clients was not changed. Shower was so full of grime it looks like it had not been washed for three years. The lady in reception said the manager was not able to talk to me as he was off duty. And he would send me a letter on Monday. We did not even sleep under the covers we ended up sleeping on top of our own blankets we had on hand for the. Long trip. Really terrible and very disappointing.

It was our 3rd booking in a month and we received a room upgrade. This is an excellent accommodation choice. Friendly staff, great breakfast and good location. I will never book anywhere else.. I recommend Lion Lodge to anyone looking for accommodation in Bloemfontein.

The staff was conscientious and gracious to me...the grounds were immaculate and well geared for large groups or in my case, the solo traveler. And I felt quite secure there as well.

My breakfast was a bit rushed, having salt in the room in the kitchenette will also be great, also add soap holder in the shower

Location was easy to find. I had to leave early so I didn't have my breakfast.... not a fault of the lodge. I liked the room, was spacious yet cozy. there was an extra blanket, so I was very comfortable. The lady at reception when I arrived was very friendly. There was a gentleman to check me out early in the morning.
