Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The owners were so warm and good people. They deeply care about the Lodge and it shows, every detail has been thought of and it makes you fall into a state of calm and appreciation for all thats around you. The scenery is taken from a movie; volcanoes, lakes, birds forests… its such a magical place to be in.
The road leading to the lodge was a bit of a hassle to go through, but it was only 5 minutes of dirt road

Otro punto fuerte es su comida, probamos el ciervo, la trucha y la crema de zapallo y los recomiendo 100%.

Meals are good and at an appropriate price. Many small details are just right - highly recommended. Loved the absence of TV's and overall peaceful surroundings.

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026El desayuno cumple con proveer un pan liviano, sabroso y fresco. Los huevos los preparan “on demand” lo q los hace deliciosos, frescos y lo mas importante, siempre los comes calientes. El cuarto es amplio, limpio y cómodo.
Creo que todas las comodaciones superaron las espectativas. Altamente recomendable. Hay q considerar que el dueño del Lodge es un Chef Francés, entonces la comida está garantizada, de la mejor calidad y a un precio razonable. Vuelvo sin pensarlo dos veces.

We also enjoyed taking a walk down the dirt road and meeting local dogs and cows. Owners very friendly and let me practice spanish even though their english was perfect.

Reviewed Nov 25, 2025Sehr ruhige und hervorragende Lage mit Blick auf den See und bei gutem Wetter sogar auf die umliegenden Vulkane. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist äußerst zuvorkommend und gibt viele hilfreiche Tipps für den Besuch im Nationalpark. Obwohl abends nur wenige Gäste im Restaurant waren, war das Essen sehr lecker und der Service ausgesprochen freundlich. Besonders hilfreich: Zwei Mitarbeiter sprechen Englisch und Französisch. Klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Unser Aufenthalt war so schön, dass wir ihn sogar um einen Tag verlängert haben.
Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

La habitación le falta una decoración o ambiente similar a sus exteriores, y el baño requiere una renovación es muy antiguo y no es acorde al precio. Pequeño y poco cómodo. Donde no tiene espacio para dejar las cosas de uso personal.

la cabaña estaba húmeda, probablemente algún problema con las heladas de los días anteriores, sin embargo por el valor que pagamos habría esperado no tener estos inconvenientes de humedad ya que el piso amanecía mojado en algunos sectores debajo de las camas. El tostador eléctrico no funcionó y no había alternativa de tostador

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025This lodge is a little off the beaten track but well worth braving gravel roads to get here. Once you arrive, enjoy this slice of Chilean Patagonia! Rooms are large and comfortable with beautiful views! Wish we made time to spend several days rather than 1 night. Breakfast was excellent. After two weeks on instant coffee, a cup of fresh brewed was enjoyed.
What I didn’t like was a bonus. At night, it’s dark! Take a flashlight if you walk off the property. But because it’s so dark, the night sky is incredible. Too bad we didn’t have a slice of moon to help us see.

Note that you need to drive about 15 minutes on a gravel road in order to get there

Reviewed Jan 1, 2025When I booked a room at the Lodge, I was planning to check-in and then spend the day at the hot springs nearby but the volcano and lake view at the location was so stunningly beautiful that I could find no reason to leave. Our room was large and lovely with an incredible lake view, the hosts hospitable, the breakfast perfect. We only had soup and drinks in the evening but I imagine that the food is fantastic as everything else. I would definitely stay again.

Reviewed Nov 27, 2024Our first test in any accommodation we spend the night in, is always about cleanliness and ‘lodge El Taique’ past with flying colours. Clean and nice smelling linen. The room was surprisingly large with a great view of the lake ( volcanoes too we told , but clouded when we visited). The friendliness and helpfulness of Audrée and Mickael made us feel very welcome. This haven is a wonderful place to relax and wind down or to use as a base. I wish we had stayed longer..

We wanted to find a cheap place because we where traveling for 5 weeks. Couldn't find anything so booked this place for 1 night. But it was amazing so no regrets.

The lodge is small but cozy, however the room was at a very reasonable size. The room was comfortable and clean. Very good for the place where is located, it has a nice view
The access to the property as it is very secluded. you cannot get there is you don’t have a car, it is located in the middle or a farm facing the lake and volcano which makes it even for the long way to get there. if you have a small car like us … maybe consider getting a car with some engine power.
