Kalandara Resort Lombok

Great location and the rooms were fantastic.

My daughter and I loved staying at the Kalandara Resort! We had a two bedroom villa with a pool and it was huge :-). The food at the restaurant was lovely, be mindful that the servings are quite generous. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. We had massages, scrubs and facials at the day spa and they were very relaxing and reasonably priced. If you want a more private place to stay in Lombok, Kalandara is it!

The only suggestion I'd like to make, is that they update the towels. Some of them were a little worn and probably haven't been replaced for a while. Maybe change the turn down service to a little later, as most people are getting ready to go out for dinner at that time.

The Views from the room were great, all the staff were excellent.

What’s not mentioned on the website, on arrival you’re supplied with ear plugs due to the local Mosque’s prayer times which start at 0500am and continue several times until 1900pm. These Mosques are very loud and wake you even with the ear plugs

Posto STREPITOSO! Scelta ideale per chi vuole godersi l'hotel e riposare. Senggigi offre poco e niente ma i panorami sono mozzafiato. L'hotel offre di tutto, ottimo cibo, staff top, l'unico problema e' quando te ne devi andare, che ti viene la depressione🤣

Tutto fantastico. L'unica pecca, a volerla trovare, la vasca da bagno, vista oceano, e' bellissima ma l'acqua calda finisce prima che la vasca sia mezza piena

J’ai aimé la proximité avec la plage, et la piscine privée malgré qu’elle soit pas chauffée et froide a tout moment de la journée. Tres belle vue de la chambre rien a dire.

La temperature de la piscine vraiment froide, de plus les transats été pas propre, pour un hotel 5 etoile les transats devraient etre propre et sans tache

le réveil forcé en sursaut le matin par le service de ménage qui a sonné de manière insistante, donc je vous conseille la veille de demander expressement à ne pas avoir le service ménage le matin tôt si vous souhaitez dormir ;). Il faudrait que l'établissement demande d'abord à ses guest la veille s'ils souhaitent le ménage ou non et l'heure que l'on préfère, ca éviterait ce désagrément. mais on leur a expliqué et le lendemain cela n'a pas été le cas ! :) les appels à la prière sont bruyants mais merci aux boulesquies fourni par l'établissement dans la chambre

Funiculaire pas très pratique, surtout quand il y a du monde. À améliorer pour un 5 étoile : gel douche qui ne mousse pas, l’eau chaude met beaucoup de temps à venir, jet de la douche pas assez puissant.

Het vasthouden aan de regels, Helaas geen begrip voor mijn situatie gehad. Aangezien ik wegens omstandigheden 2 dagen laten zou aankomen. Ik heb alle pogingen heb ik ondernomen om de kamers te verschuiven naar een latere datum. Helaas 2 nachten voor niets moeten betalen.

Prachtig uitzicht. Heel mooie villa met heerlijke bedden en een bad. 🛀 Super vriendelijk personeel. Lekker eten in het restaurant. Leuk om een scooter te huren en lekker rond te rijden langs de kust.

De moskeeën horen bij Lombok maar ik kan er maar niet aan wennen dat ze om 5.00 een half uur lang een gebed roepen door luidsprekers. De apen waren leuk om te zien maar ook erg brutaal. Zorg dat je geen eten op je balkon achterlaat.

Dry clean and the staff were fantastic. Private pool was great. Breakfast was really good and walking distance to the beach and some of the Senggigi beach clubs. They also provide a buggy service to the immediate area which was really convenient.

There were cheaper and better food options T other resorts / restaurants nearby which we just walked to. We walked down to the beach and got a taxi to nearby Nipah Beach one day as well which was great. I don’t think we realized the “call to prayer” would be so loud every morning but the. We realised that this is just part of beautiful Lombok!

Very nice location, convenient and easy to get a taxi. The staff is super nice and friendly. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Very easy to walk to the scubba froggy school or even to the Verve beach club and the nearby Nooq and The Kliff restaurants

The food doesn't match the hotel, it should be more elevated and creative (especially for the BBQ night). Ideally adding a gym would be a good improvement

Al la carte breakfast included in room fee. Great choices, cooked to order. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the restaurant is also amazing.

L’emplacement, la ville de Senggigi n’est pas tres active mais ce n’est pas propre a l’établissement. la mosquée à coté qui fait un bruit très fort plusieurs fois pendant la journée pendant longtemps (4 ou 5 fois 30 minutes)

Unbeatable views and comfortable rooms combined with good value make this hotel a great choice when staying in Lombok and wanting to visit the waterfalls or Gili islands. We enjoyed the one bedroom villa and restaurant has decent choices for food.

I wouldn't spend extra money to book a room with private pool. Temperature is very cold which does not make swimming enjoyable, we only used it for about 5 minutes per day because it was too cold, should be at least controlled to 30 C. Another major issue is the noise from the mosque. We live in an islamic country and are used to prayer time, but Lombok takes to to a whole new level with extremely loud speakers, and prayers lasting 15-30 minutes. The hotel could have built better soundproofing in the rooms.

Die Unterkunft ist der Wahnsinn! Der Blick auf das Meer und die schöne Hotelanlage haben uns überzeugt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Im Hotel gibt es ein Spa, bei dem wir eine gute Massage & ein Facial gebucht haben. Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, gerne wieder :)

We stayed in the two-bedroom villa, and from the moment we walked in, it was a "wow." The property sits up on a hill, so the sea views are simply fabulous. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the French windows give the space an airy, close-to-nature feel. The villa comes with its own pool, perfect for relaxing all day long. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the service throughout was warm and friendly.

Food could have been better.

J’ai passé un séjour absolument incroyable dans cet hôtel ! La vue depuis la chambre était magnifique, avec un superbe panorama sur la mer. De nombreuses petites attentions étaient prévues pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable : une enceinte Bluetooth, des bouchons d’oreilles, des claquettes, et bien d’autres équipements très appréciés. Le personnel était tout simplement exceptionnel. Toute l’équipe était d’une gentillesse, d’une chaleur et d’un professionnalisme remarquables. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis et choyés du début à la fin du séjour. Tout le monde était aux petits soins avec nous, toujours avec le sourire. Le petit-déjeuner était également incroyable, varié, délicieux et de grande qualité. Même l’ascenseur menant aux chambres offrait une magnifique vue, ce qui ajoutait encore au charme de l’établissement. Honnêtement, je n’ai absolument rien de négatif à dire sur cet hôtel. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour cette expérience inoubliable. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’espère avoir l’occasion d’y revenir un jour !

Beautiful views, delicious food, and exceptional staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort was peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Very little to fault but if I had to pick one thing - The nearby mosque can be a little noisy at times, especially early in the morning, but we got used to it during our stay.

Incredible property. Situated on top of a hill, overlooking the beach. The rooms are elegant and well maintained. The 2 bedroom stay has a beautiful infinity pool that is simply breathtaking. The staff is so courteous and professional. They provide you with a golf cart in case you don’t want to take the lift. Although the lift ride up is an experience of its own. Their breakfast is best I had in my time in Indonesia. The restaurant on the first floor has amazing views of its own. Overall, I simply can’t recommend this place enough. It is a stay one has to experience to truly appreciate it. Will definitely come back here

The view and the staff are worth the price of admission. Just incredible. Never have I ever stayed in such a stunning resort. Beautiful.

The pillows were way too big. Like way too big. My wife and I had to use the cushions from the couch to sleep on. Now, the main issue we had wasn't really the resorts fault but don't for a minute believe that the rooms are soundproof regardless of what it says in the listing. They're not. Being up on the hill, you get a wonderful breeze but this breeze brings with it all the noise from the street below and the local school with it's daily soccer match. All done through loudspeakers. On the last day we also had to listen to a chainsaw being overworked somewhere in the surrounding jungle. Don't expect a sleep in. It's not going to happen. Actually, very little sleep at all. But.. wow, what a view!

Facilities was excelent, room properly prepared with anniversary decoration per request, the pool just nice and bed was comfy as cloud. Breakfast was also great although it was ala carte style. I wont forget the extraordinary view in the morning, just grear. The staff was very friendly and helpful and services was top notch. Overall i give 10/10 stay, would repeat in the future

From the moment, my family and I arrived we knew we booked the right place. The property was stunning and our villa perfect for our stay. The staff was exceptional and so warm and kind. They were so sweet with my baby as well. We had great spa treatments and were promptly picked up and dropped off for anywhere we wanted to go along Senggigi Beach. The food and drinks were also delicious. They updated the breakfast menu while we were there and my only regret was that I didn't get to try all of their new updates.

Loved the service, location and view ! It was an amazing experience the breakfast was always fresh, the rooms kept nice and clean, we enjoyed our stay very much loved the lift. And can’t wait to come back

Nice restaurants and beach clubs around. Accomodation has an incredible view. Special thanks to Wulan for being so supportive and nice to us. Amazing person who made our stay so pleasant.

1. We booked a two-bedroom villa, but unfortunately the private pool was extremely dirty upon check-in — we could not even see the pool stairs clearly. The staff informed us it would take about one hour to clean; however, even after two days, the pool remained in the same condition. The staff members were very kind and made multiple attempts to clean it, but the issue was never resolved. They offered four hours of complimentary massage and allowed us to use another one-bedroom villa’s pool, which we appreciated, but this did not fully compensate for the inconvenience of not being able to use the pool in the villa we booked. 2. Additionally, when the staff member escorted us to our villa and showed us around, he entered both the villa and our bedroom wearing dirty shoes. I politely asked him to remove his shoes, but he did not do so and only apologized verbally. 3. Lastly, the villa was extremely noisy. There was loud singing coming from a nearby mosque that continued throughout the night without interruption. We understand that it was Ramadan and respect religious practices; however, the noise made it impossible for us to sleep. Although the hotel provided earplugs, we are traveling with a one-year-old baby who cannot use them. As a result, our baby was unable to sleep well during our stay. Overall, while we appreciate the friendliness of the staff, our experience was significantly affected by these issues.

De villa's waren mooi met een adembenemend uitzicht, het eten in het restaurant was veelzijdig, het ontbijt a la carte en dat is fijn, de 2 tours die ik via het hotel had gedaan waren prima, de klantvriendelijkheid was erg goed! De massages in de welness waren zooooooooooooooooo fijn. Ik had er wel 3 genomen. Stuk voor stuk erg goed! Last but not least - I miss the smile of FEBRI in the restaurant X

The location, the Villa's were perfect. The staff were also exceptional particularly Suli and Wulan who went over and above to ensure our stay was memorable. We will definitely be back.

1. Air-conditioning: The cooling was very poor. The rooms don’t seem well insulated, with visible gaps around the doors and ceiling. Overall, it felt quite cheap and uncomfortable. 2. Shower: The water pressure was extremely weak and the temperature kept fluctuating, turning cold every minute or so. This made showering frustrating and again felt like poor quality. 3. Lift: There is only one lift for the entire resort and it is incredibly slow — it can take up to five minutes just to reach your floor. This is a real inconvenience, especially in bad weather, and the lift area is not properly covered. 4. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is very basic and limited, so don’t expect much variety
