The staff were extremely polite,helpful and attentive. You are given a butler , ours was Nashan and he was amazing. He helped to arrange a moped, taxi to the airport, recommended please to eat and things to see and do. The villas are loverly , you own pool, private and quiet. Your meals are served to your villa, the breakfasts are beautifully arranged. Thank you for our amazing stay.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Man ist sehr privat was wir sehr genossen haben. Der Pool ist sauber und wird jedes Mal gereinigt wenn man die Unterkunft verlässt. Tun Tuks werden organisiert und das Personal ist unfassbar zuvorkommend und Hilfsbereit. Leider mussten wir nach 6 Tagen weiterziehen.

Das Frühstück ist sehr einseitig. Und leider sind neben dem Bett keine direkten Steckdosen.

- unglaublich guter und aufmerksamer Service durch die Mitarbeiter die sich um alles kümmern und jederzeit zur Verfügung stehen - schöne Unterkunft mit sauberem Pool in top Lage - da es nur drei Villen sind, hat man einen sehr exklusiven Platz ohne Massentourismus

- die Türen lassen sich teilweise nicht vollständig öffnen, da sie sonst am Boden schleifen.

A wonderful small property with just three villas, which makes it feel very private and peaceful. The villas are immaculately kept—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and surrounded by lush plants. The private pool was fantastic, and the water pressure was excellent, which really matters after a long day out. The room itself was amazing, but the absolute highlight of our stay was Hashan. He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He went above and beyond to help us find and organize an Ayurvedic doctor for my husband, which meant so much to us. Truly exceptional hospitality. An absolutely great stay—we highly recommend this property and would return without hesitation.

Private pool and very nice helpful staff

This was one of my favorite places I had stayed in Sri Lanka and I had stayed in many places. The welcome from Hashan was lovely and he was very helpful and attentive but also gave us our privacy. The villa was amazing and the pool wonderful. Breakfast was a good selection and location was stunning. Keep in mind you are in the middle of nature as we had some insects in the villa so repellent is a must. Listening to nature, swimming in the pool and watching the fire flies and stars at night was a beautiful experience.

We did have an issue of ants on the bed one night and we couldn't figure out where they kept coming from but as I said, you are in the jungle so keep an open mind. A TV would be a nice touch.

Przepiękny niewielki obiekt, umiejscowiony na uboczu, w ciszy i spokoju. Hashan, chłopak który był na obiekcie 24/7, byl bardzo pomocny i uprzejmy, nie bylo dla niego rzeczy niemożliwych. Przecudowny człowiek. Zorganizował wszystko, o co tylko mogliśmy poprosić. Śniadania były obfite i przepyszne, wszystko świeże i pięknie podane. Śniadania podawane były na niewielkiej stołówce lub przynoszone do willi. Polecamy obiekt każdemu, kto chce spędzić urlop w spokoju, ale jednocześnie byc w dużym turystycznym mieście ❤️

A peaceful little oasis . Huge villa , nice to have the quiet away from the great but busy beach . Literally a 5 min if that drive in a tuk tuk to the main bars and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble . Hashan is a legend . What a nice man , he helped with everything we felt like royalty in his company. He arranged tuk tuks for us , we had his number if we needed anything at all . We had a lovely breakfast brought to us at our villa . Can't fault it at all . Definitely stay here if you are in hikkaduwa for a bit of luxury . Thankyou !

If I had one comment it would be a bit more lighting around the pool for night time in villa 3, But that is me being very very fussy ! Everything was perfect.

Si te gusta la naturaleza es una pasada, se ven ardillas, monos, diferentes aves.. es muy tranquilo y precioso. Personal muy amable y eficiente. Desayuno bastante bueno (fruta, te o cafe, zumo natural, huevos (eliges como cocinarlos) con salchichas y patatas, si quieres te lo sirven en la propia villa.

Hay que entender que está en medio de la naturaleza, pero había hormigas dentro y podría evitarse. Te ofrecen un servicio de tuk tuk para acercarte donde quieras, pero el precio es dos o tres veces más caro que con cualquier aplicación y creo que debería de ser al revés.

Wszystko. Piękne wille, ekstra basen, super śniadania (szczególnie polecamy lankijskie), urocza okolica i doskonali gospodarze. Hashan sprawił, że czuliśmy się świetnie przez cały pobyt, pomagał nam w nawet najmniejszej sprawie. Taki host to skarb. Jeżeli będziemy w przyszłości odwiedzać Sri Lankę, na pewno tu wrócimy.

It is a bit of a walk to town. Also the hot water wasn’t very hot a few times, not enough to use the bath.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und unser Zimmer (kleines Häuschen) war fantastisch. Es war alles sehr privat und man hatte für sich einen eigenen kleine Pool. Das Frühstück wurde zur gewünschten Uhrzeit auf die eigene Terrasse serviert. Wir konnten uns keine bessere Unterkunft für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka zum Ankommen vorstellen. Zudem erhält man durch Hashan noch eine super Betreuung. Er war immer für uns erreichbar und hat den Aufenthalt für uns so perfekt gemacht.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sehr sauber, sehr privat und top ausgestattet. Das Frühstück das uns nach individuell ausgewählter Uhrzeit direkt auf die Terrasse der Villa serviert wurde war fantastisch! Sowohl die Mitarbeiter als auch der Manager waren alle super freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Ganz besonderer Dank geht an Hashan, der sich unglaublich toll um uns gekümmert hat. Sein Service war ausgezeichnet und wir hatten sehr schöne Gespräche mit ihm - er hat uns viel über das Land erzählt und hat uns super Tips und Insights gegeben. Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt unglaublich zufrieden, es war der wundervollste Start in den Urlaub den wir uns hätten wünschen können!

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in einer der Villen mit eigenem Pool. Hashan hat sich super um uns gekümmert und war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns bspw. auch mit unserem Tuk Tuk geholfen, das wir über einen Verleiher gemietet hatten. Das Frühstück wurde in der Früh auf die Terasse gebracht (Uhrzeit konnte man flexibel vereinbaren) und war lecker. Man konnte immer wieder Tiere wie Pfau, Streifenhörnchen oder Flughund von der eigenen Terasse aus beobachten und im Pool entspannen. Die Villa war mega cool und ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Fantastische accommodatie en verblijf gehad!! Ik raad het iedereen aan.

We hadden een bad wat we helaas 2 avonden niet konden gebruiken vanwege te weinig zon. Het warme water was op zonne energie. We konden wel warm douchen in een andere accommodatie en ze waren zeer behulpzaam.

Hashan was the perfect host he went out of his way to make our stay perfect.his team were also excellent.the property was so quiet and beautiful you can listen to so much wildlife in this gorgeous tropical area.property so clean and the food was very nice.40 minutes walk to resort or you can get a 3 wheeler very easy.

Hashan was amazing, he was so helpful and the villa surpassed any high expectations we had. The breakfast and lunch were incredible and the property is very well cared for. The tuktuk driver that was arranged for us was brilliant and took us to places not on the usual package tours and for that it was a 10/10 stay.

The staff were the most attentive staff we had in our 2 weeks trip to Sri Lanka. Each villa has a butler that will do honestly anything to make your stay comfortable. Hashan was there very promptly when we needed anything and offered places to eat and visit. Breakfast and dinners are optional.

The property Is slightly out of town but the property is so nice so it isn't really necessary to leave too often.

Mit Abstand das schönste Hotel auf unserer Reise gewesen, für uns als Pärchen war es fantastisch! Der Pool war Mega schön, haben ihn selbst in der Nacht noch genutzt! Es war wirklich alles an diesem Hotel perfekt! Personal super freundlich und haben uns auch mit dem tuk tuk für kleines Geld in ein Restaurant gebracht und wieder abgeholt:) auf unserem Wunsch selbstverständlich. Bett war fantastisch, Dusche war fantastisch und das Frühstück war fantastisch:)

Finde es für Sri Lanka dennoch etwas teuer, Frühstück wird für 2 Personen mit ca.40€ berechnet, das ist alles ein bisschen viel aber es hat sich dennoch Mega gelohnt, man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts:D

Our private butler Hashan was so kind and helpful. He really made our stay wonderful. Also the villa is quite luxurious and spacious. We really liked it, especially the outside shower in the middle of the jungle.

Nos alojamos en esta villa y la experiencia fue inmejorable. El alojamiento está decorado con mucho gusto, todo cuidado al detalle. La cama era enorme y comodísima, lo que hizo que descansáramos de maravilla. La zona de la piscina es espectacular, un auténtico rincón para relajarse y desconectar. Además, el chico que nos atendió fue muy amable y atento, siempre pendiente de que no nos faltara nada, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera aún más agradable. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveremos y que recomendamos al 100 %

Lo único menos positivo es que no hay restaurantes ni tiendas alrededor, por lo que para comer o cenar es necesario desplazarse con el tuk-tuk. No es un gran inconveniente porque el transporte es cómodo y rápido, pero sí es algo a tener en cuenta

Hashan war super nett und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Von den anderen Gästen bekommt man so gut wie gar nichts mit. Um seine Ruhe zu haben, ist die Unterkunft perfekt.

We booked Nisala Villas to celebrate our last night of travels and it couldn’t have been more special. The villa was super cool and very comfortable. It was also complete spotless and had everything we needed. Hashan was so helpful, always there when we needed him but also respectful of our privacy. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Nice cozy stay. Clean well kept villas. Pool was also clean and well maintained. Hashan was an excellent host and took good care of us, helped us with suggestions for places to visit and also arranged for transport for us to reach the main beach, which is a few kms away. Pros: Spacious Villa, excellent host, clean pool, comfortable bed and ACs that work well. Cons: Slightly far from the main market/beach but the team called for a tuk tuk when we needed it. Limited menu to order food - but whatever we ordered was tasty. Overall a good stay, made all the better with a good host. Hashan was very polite, courteous and helpful!

The place, the area, the design, great breakfast and opportunity to order delicious dinner and stay in the middle of the jungle with private pool with no noise but birds and squirrels (which play on the fence, creating a nice safari like entertainment). Hashan and the whole team took the best care of us. Perfect place for a couple to spend time together.The beach is 7 minutes ride or 20 minutes walk, tuk-tuk is easy to get

Hashan was amazing! He couldn’t have done more for us; organising Tuk tuk’s to the beach, restaurant recommendations, organising massages etc. He was our highlight of our stay at Nisala Villas. Pool is small but it’s warm and private. Food (breakfast) delivered to the room.

Nisala villas is a brilliant place to relax and unwind in the Sri Lankan countryside, whilst still being on the doorstep of Hikkaduwa. The villa was just beautiful, with a spacious and modern design. The features such as the outdoor shower and private pool are fantastic. We really got the wow factor when we arrived! The room and area outside (patio, pool etc) were kept exceptionally clean throughout our stay, with lovely touches such as towel art! Having just the 3 villas on site allowed it to feel very private. The location is roughly a 20 minute walk away from Hikkaduwa down quiet roads. Hikkaduwa itself had plenty of restaurants and shops, as well as a beautiful beach, where we were able to spot turtles. Being slightly further out of town meant that the stay was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by lots of trees and wildlife. We saw peacocks, chipmunks, lizards and monkeys from our villa (none of which were bothersome in any way). We had breakfast at the villas each morning and opted for lunch and dinner on a couple of our days too. There was plenty of choice available, all delicious and prepared at the times that worked best for us. We were able to eat the meals outside our own villa overlooking the pool which was just lovely. There was also a mini bar, with fizzy drinks and beers for a very reasonable price. What makes this stay so so special is Hashan! He really is an asset to Nisala Villas. He is always available on WhatsApp to support with any questions or requests. He gave us so many recommendations, arranged a scooter for us to use and was just in general lovely to get to know during our 5 night stay. We didn’t speak too much with other members of staff, but everyone we did meet whilst staying was lovely too. I would highly recommend Nisala Villas and will be booking again when we return to Sri Lanka!

The villa is stunning, located in the middle of the forest, it was one of the best experiences we had. A must visit if you are in Sri Lanka and want to escape the city. A special shout to Hishan! He was extremely responsive and always available with a smile. Hands down one of our best stays in Sri Lanka!

Amazing!! We would stay longer if we just had time. Here is everything you need. Super comfortable bed, working ac, cozy cottage, outside shower and so on. And the POOL!! We loved it!! We got our own butler who took care of everything we needed. He arranged us delicious dinner from their own menu. Prices are actually very decent. I think this could be perfect for example to honey moon. 11/10! This is a GEM!

Beautiful villa. We spent 4 amazing days in the villa and everything was perfect. The place is absolutely beautiful and Hashan and all the staff are very kind. Breakfast (included) and dinner (to pay extra) were served in the villa at the time we wanted. A tuk tuk was always available for any time we needed. Also we could have a super massage in the villa for a very good price.

Have the Sri Lankan breakfast, it was very good. Really lovely place to stay away from the beach but just a 5min tuk tuk journey. Staff were so helpful but really discreet. I thoroughly enjoyed my break and would definitely recommend.

The only thing I missed was having a sun lounger by the pool but I soon got over it.

Great breakfast and coffee, the staff went above and beyond, couldn't do enough for you even went as far as helping us book onward accommodation, we have been to India and Thailand and I can honestly say we have never been treated as well anywhere else we have stayed, should of stayed here longer than 2 nights. We recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the best properties we've ever experienced, and we've traveled extensively. This stay was so much better than our previous experience at the Marriott hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the entire place was spotless. The service was outstanding, deserving of a 5-star rating. Our personal butler, Hashan, was simply fantastic—always available, incredibly helpful, and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. All the staff were exceptional, and the owner went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. A biggest thank you to everyone for making our experience so memorable! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My husband and I had an exceptional two night stay at Nisala. The villa was gorgeous and had everything we needed, including a well stocked minibar. The staff were fantastic - kind, super helpful, and communicative. A highlight was the in room couples massage that were arranged on our first day - highly recommended. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

It’s a beautiful architectural design plenty of room high ceilings, essential bed and carefully place lighting. Out on the fields with the sounds of Peacocks everywhere. There was a huge bathtub which we did not use, and a beautiful outdoor shower which I did, but my wife didn’t.

It was a little far away to be practical for going into town, and for all the architectural design beauty they could’ve done a little bit more about having electricity next to the bed. A kettle some teabags and some tea cups might have been a nice idea as well. Other than that, the place is beautiful.

We went there during our honeymoon and had a great time. The villa is wonderful. It's well-furnished and simply beautiful. The place is very well kept and has all the facilities we needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hashan really made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was also very delicious.

The villa was amazing and clean. The place was very quiet and the view with nature all around you was amazing. The staff were amazing especially Hashan, he would literally come within two seconds whenever we contact him. The food was excellent and the fruits in the breakfast were so fresh and amazing especially the pineapple and the avocado. I am convinced that our stay wouldn't be the same without Hashan. He really made our stay exceptional and a lot easier. The pool and the room were cleaned properly whenever we requested it. The whole staff were very hospitable since the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants some relaxing time enjoying the view of the nature and trees and the lovely sounds of the birds.

if there are people next door villas you can hear them talking when sitting outside, but it's normal if to have cabanas so close to each other

This was a wonderful experience of 12 nights in villa around the nature sounds. I specially liked the following: * the personnel and its desire to make your stay comfortable as much as possible. Hashan and Sam you are amazing! * the location, i wanted to be a bit far from the noise of the city , i received it. * the private space was secured properly. * the strong feeling of coming back home when you returning to villa from the city. * villa was being cleaned every day of our staying with a care. * connection of Villa with the Hikkaduwa Beach by tuk tuk is 7 min and 26 min by walk. * we had the breakfast every morning and I liked it a lot: fruits, coffee/ tea, eggs. We enjoyed so much and we will come back next year to you!

The accommodation was great, such a large spacious room with a great private pool, we had an outdoor seating area and lounging chairs. The room itself had two air con units and plenty of lighting. The highlight was the staff, our dedicated member (Hashan) gave us his number and asked us to contact him any time, 24 hours per day, although we didn't need Hashan a great deal he was lovely to have a conversation with at breakfast time and all interactions were met with a smiling face.

We were woken up at around 07:00AM one morning due to some maintenance being undertaken on the roof of the property, once mentioned to the staff the activity was ceased until later in the day.

We had a perfect stay in Nisala villas. Everything was just like we expected. Especially we liked the personalized service which was provided by Ashan, who cared about everything during our stay. The breakfasts were served with his personal touch, the villa was clean. It was such a relaxing experience when we used to come back from busy Hikkaduwa beaches and plunge into the pool in front of the villa!

There was not much space to store your clothes, but how many clothes does one need on a sunny Sri-Lanka?

The facilities were gorgeous and the staff was fantastic. Hashan our on call staff was fantastic and very friendly and professional. He also organized some great kayak trips and had good recommendations for activities. I highly recommend this place.

The villas are located in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful nature, and have a private pool as well as a very nice, comfortable interior. Our host and the whole service was exceptional, with an individually prepared breakfast and helpful support whenever we needed it. We can only recommend!

Absolut recommendation. Nisala Villa convinces in every way. Whenever we had a wish we contacted our assigned staff member Hashan and he managed everything for us. If you like relaxing and you need time off, this is the place to be in Sri Lanka. We had 4 different hotels during our vacation, and this last one tops it all.

This is paradise. The accommodation, staff, location, everything is nice!! The peace and quietness in combination with location very close to the beach (3 minutes in a Tuktuk) JUST BRILLIANT!!

Everything... It is such a beautiful villa.. Very romantic, peaceful, and an amazing place to relax. The space is large as described in the pictures. The location is perfectly nested in the village, white its a 10 min walk through the rice fields to the beach. We were there for 4 days. The breakfast was fantastic each day. We also had dinner at the villa. It was a great meal. The beds were the best i have encountered in any hotel - we had the best sleep during our 6 week vacation at this hotel. Sameera the owner is very accommodating, super polite and very responsive. Hashan was the resident butler - we asked for so many things and he was so happy to help. He was very polite and genuinely enthusiastic to help. We will definitely be back every time we visit Sri Lanka.

I can’t rate Nisala Villas highly enough. From the moment I booked, the customer service was excellent, with any queries I had responded to quickly and efficiently. And as soon as I arrived, it was clear everything would not only meet but also exceed any expectations. The location is, in my opinion, perfect - slightly inland in a stunning, quiet setting, but just 5 minutes in a tuk tuk to the beach, bars, restaurants, etc (or a lovely 20 minute walk). The villa itself was of the highest standard, incredibly clean and well presented, with everything you need and more. The pool was also lovely and clean, and such a luxury to have. I needed to work during my stay, and the wi-fi was excellent - and even when a huge storm took it out, a back-up was set up straight away so I was still able to take a meeting that I had scheduled. The service I received throughout my stay - which I ended up extending from 7 nights to 9 - cannot be faulted. Hashan was my butler, and he was extremely helpful, kind, respectful and accommodating, and ensured I was happy and comfortable the whole time. On top of that, the food was delicious and prepared to your liking, at the time of your choosing. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, as a woman staying alone, I felt completely safe and comfortable at all times, which is priceless. I will definitely be coming back to Nisala Villas next time I am in Hikkaduwa, and I’ll also be recommending it to friends and family - having spent time in the area many times before, it is without a doubt the best place I have stayed in.

Beautiful room - perfect for relaxing. Wonderful private pool, breakfast delivered to your villa and adapted to your taste, butler on call for all your needs. Nice location set back from the noisy streets about 15 min walk to the beach.

Everything was just like perfect…this place is quiet, absolutely green tropical surrounding. The villas design is modern, pure, awesome…the pool is great and has got the right size for two, even four. The owner is really a nice guy and the heart of the Nisala Villas is the staff Hashan. Thank you so much…you give the Villa heart and soul 🙏🏼

We had a fantastic stay at Nisala Villas in Hikkaduwa. Hashan and the owner went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was taken care of. He was always available to help us out, from taking care of our laundry and to delivering a delicious breakfast. The villa itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a comfortable - highly recommended especially if you like be isolated in a relaxing place

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly - this is not a problem but sometimes you need it for travelling

He was always available to help us out, from taking care of our laundry and buying motor oil for us to delivering a delicious breakfast and even providing sun mattresses for us to relax by the pool. The villa itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a comfortable, cozy bed that made us feel right at home. We found everything we could ever need during our stay, making it a true home away from home. Overall, we would highly recommend Nisala Suites to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Hikkaduwa. The exceptional service provided by the staff, along with the stunning villa and beautiful surroundings, make for a truly unforgettable experience.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, there were no curtains for the windows which meant that the early morning light woke us up earlier than we would have liked. However, this did allow us to spend more time at the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the toilet did not have a ceiling which may not be to everyone's liking.
