Mooie ruime villa op een perfecte locatie in Hiriketiya.

Naast de villa vinden bouwwerkzaamheden plaats maar daar heb je nauwelijks last van.

Larger space for a family.

Really unpleasant smell of sewage in one of the bathrooms and considerable construction happening either side of Villa with construction staff sleeping right next to building (and often working in the night/making a noise)

De ligging en de accommodatie was prima.

Het gebouw is minder onderhouden, waardoor de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding niet correct is. Wij hebben er 2 nachten verbleven en net dan was er ook eén cricket toernooi, tot 5u in de nacht/ochtend zeer veel lawaai. 😩

Owner was there to welcome and introduce villa facilities

Road access was very narrow. Villa assisted us by carrying luggage coz vehicle could not reach the villa

Leek ons een leuk verblijf, maar konden er helaas niet van genieten…

We verheugden ons erop om hier te verblijven, maar kregen op het laatste moment te horen dat er sprake was van een dubbele boeking, waardoor we uiteindelijk niet konden verblijven. We werden gevraagd om de reservering zelf te annuleren, maar dat ging gepaard met een boete. De eigenaar wilde de boeking zelf niet annuleren, waardoor we het via de klantenservice van Booking.com moesten regelen. Dit leidde tot onnodige zorgen en het op het allerlaatste moment een nieuwe accommodatie moeten zoeken, terwijl deze reeds bevestigd was en veel andere geschikte opties inmiddels niet meer beschikbaar waren. We hadden dit één keer kunnen toeschrijven aan pech, maar het is ons nu tweemaal achter elkaar overkomen, zowel bij de accommodatie in Hiriketiya als bij Ahangama. Dat is helaas geen toeval meer, maar een duidelijk probleem. Aanbevolen om vooraf altijd te controleren of de kamers daadwerkelijk beschikbaar zijn; dat bespaart je veel gedoe met Booking en het last‑minute zoeken naar alternatieven.

big 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. not far from both beaches and all restaurants.

very steep walk to the house. tuk tuk car can’t drive up to the door. for people has bad knee or elders or when it’s raining not convenient

Quiet but still close to everything

We were asked to pay in cash on arrival but this was not mentioned in the listing. We were then told to go to the cash machine to get cash because there was no way of paying by card. After a few minutes of refusing to pay cash a card machine appeared that worked perfectly.

La disponibilité et gentillesse du propriétaire. L’emplacement à 5 min à pieds des plages. Le Lions juste en bas pour le petit déjeuner / dîner. Le rapport qualité / prix de la maison.

L’arrivée est peu glamour. Les portes sont bizarres (il manque des poignées). Les douches sont pas top.

La maison est parfaite, grandes pièces bien équipées et belle décoration. L' emplacement top,. La communication avec le gérant est très facile, réponse rapide. Super séjour pour nous merci !

The property is exceptional. Beautiful in so many ways. The feeling of calm and serinity is amplified but the large open doors from the lounge andthe bedroom. Surrounded by nature one feels like you have been planted in a heaven. Everything you need is provided and all the small details from the pictures on the wall and beautiful furniture leaves you not wanting to leave. Saranga is an amazing manager who goes out of his way to make sure you stay is as comfortable as can be. Spend 2 nights there and could have stayed a month. Highly recommend staying here

A little bit pricey but worth the money, lovely structure and welcoming host!

This is a beautiful place to stay- very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Lots of room to chill. We had a few faulty electrical bits but they fixed everything straight away. Recommend for a Hiri stay.

The entrance is up a STEEP hill from an unkept road- easy to miss in a cab and hard to take if you are elderly (which one of us was) or have any access requirements.

The property is in an idea location. It’s got a lovely calm feeling, and two large comfy rooms. The outside showers were a really nice quirk! The property manager was very kind and available to help.

Nothing that the owners can do about this, but monkeys on the roof overnight were quite noisy.

Lovely chilled vibe, big airy space, comfortable beds, minutes walk to Hiri beach, fire flies lighting the path at night, toques macaque visitors, Saranga looked after our every need and even brought us his mother’s food on Christmas Day. So polite and friendly.

This villa was simply stunning and exceeded our expectations! It was very well taken care of with lovely decor. It also was walking distance to the beach and restaurants which was wonderful.

Really confortable and beautiful house. 5 min walking from the beach

This villa is beautiful and well cared for. Each bedroom has a bathroom with a lovely semi-outside shower, good A/C, and amazingly comfortable beds with nice mosquito nets. The location was great: a short, pleasant (5 min) walk to the beach, but far enough away from the beach that it was very quiet and private at night. The garden is small and pretty, and our host greeted us upon arrival with fresh juice and keys. The host is very responsive on WhatsApp and phone, and provided exceptional and prompt service when we had needs or questions. I would definitely stay here again - it's perfect for a family or two couples. We didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed well-appointed with appliances and kitchen tools, and there is a small fridge.

There is a short but steep walk up to the villa, so anyone with mobility issues should keep that in mind.

The villa was perfect for us. Very spacious with two big rooms and living air and kitchen. AC worked well and showers were lovely.

A little tucked away but a quick walk to all restaurants and the beach.

A quaint and spacious villa with an authentic Sri Lankan feel. The service was exceptional.

Breakfast is not offered. You can cook your own.

Kitchen cupboards were dirty. Spider webs in bathrooms. Dining table wobbly.

New to look like old colonial style. Short walk maybe 400 m to beach. Also we'll situated to head to Dikwella beach maybe 10 min walk. Or 5 mins down to Hiriketya.

Not a bad thing but it's set off the road so aittle hard to find. There is a concrete path up from road to villa.

Great stay at a great villa. The villa is even better in real life and is super spacious. Wifi works super well and the kitchen is great. Saranga is a great and helpful host always ready to help out. Saranga and his wife cooked us wonderful curry which I can highly recommend. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to the beach and the main restaurants. I can highly recommend staying at this villa!

There might be some noise from surrounding bars during weekends but its not a big deal.

Villa is set in lush jungle 5 mins walk from hiriketiya beach. The host Saranga is really friendly and can help with anything during your stay. He really made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is amazing! Such a short walk to the beach! The host was incredibly helpful and responsive! Perfect stay for a family.

The villa is absolutely fantastic. It has been very thoughtfully designed and the interiors are beautiful. it is very comfortable - the beds and communal spaces especially. It’s a great location just 5 mins or so down the road to the beach. I have been to Hiri 3 times and this is hands down the best place I’ve stayed. Also, the housekeeper deserves a special mention for being so kind, friendly and helpful. He responded immediately to any queries and was even kind enough to bring some New Year’s Day sweets and cakes from his family for us to enjoy.

There is nothing not to like about the villa.

Ronaya surf waves was our home in Hiriketiya and we absolutely adore this experience. We felt like royalty in here, with a lot of space, beautiful decorations, beautiful surroundings and amazing customer service! Saranga, who was taking care of the house, was always available immediately for whatever we needed. He takes very good care of the plants and the cleanliness of the house. The location is great, only 7min walk to the beach. The house is very private and felt safe with a locked gate. You can buy eggs & bread & necessities from the store 3 min walk away and cook your own breakfasts. There's a dining table and an outdoor shower on the porch we really enjoyed. Also a washing machine and a good wifi. Thank you so much Saranga and Ronaya Surf waves for making our stay so perfect. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a bit of luxury and privacy in Hiriketiya! Will definitely come back here ☺️

Hiriketiya has a overpopulation of dogs that is getting uncomfortable. They are not dangerous but they bark constantly at night and they do roam around the surroundings of this property. I don't know if there's anything the owner can do about this - but just to inform - it is a growing problem you might want to pay attention to.

Place is very well kept and decorated. Very convenient for 2 famillies with kids. They added extra beds and the room was spacious Has all the facilities needed. They clean the place daily and the caretaker is very nice and helpful. It's a 5 min walk from the beach and close to a grocery store. It's got a small slope to climb but compared to the other places in hiri, this one was much better. We used it for a 10 day surfcation and found it convenient. Would definitely recommend it but might be difficult for older PPL to climb that slope. They help with luggage and would highly recommend this for staying at hireketiya.

When the road to the the property is fixed - it would become absolutely impecable.
