The host is very friendly and hospitable and is there if you need anything. The property itself is very clean and sits on a small farm with pigs & goats roaming freely during the day... we found it very relaxing and we could bring our dog along for the stay...... this is our second time here. The location is fabulous and is only a 2 minute walk from the local restaurants & shops. Also Clifden ,Kylemore Abbey & Leenane are only short drives, while Westport is an hour away but again well worth the visit!

There's nothing not to like!!

Very spacious with plenty of bedrooms, great for a group. It was all we could find in the area, so we appreciated having it.

That said, a few things could use attention: heaters weren't working in some rooms, and some towels had seen better days. With a bit of maintenance, this would be a solid spot. Would definitely stay again.

Location was good and the cottage was in a lovely setting.

Need to replace the kettle and some room may need updating

Animal farm

Cottage calme situé à 500 mètres du bourg de Letterfrack avec supermarché, pub, etc. Le cottage est grand (6 chambres), un peu “rustique” avec portes et planchers qui grincent, mais idéal pour un court séjour. Bien équipé avec lave vaisselle et instruments de cuisine. Pour visiter le parc du Connemara ou l’abbaye de Kylemore, je recommande ce logement.

Réglage du chauffage impossible par chambre.

Lovely farm cottages walking distance to the village. The animals roaming freely were a great hit with the kids.

Homely and comfy with everything you could need for a weekend stay.

Bannister in the hall was very loose and TV was a little small but everything else was fantastic.

In a lovely safe location. We would happily bring our 2 year old back, he had a great time !

Very close to the National park and the Town, with restaurants and shoots in walking distance. Cute cottage.

On our first night there were a lot of screaming teenagers outsider who were there for a camp.

Ho adorato che fosse all’interno della fattoria con gli animali liberi, le stanze molto grandi e che avesse tutto per potersi cucinare i pasti in autonomia, anche la lavastoviglie

La struttura è molto carina, molto ampia ed ottimamente collocata (è vicinissima al parco nazionale e vicina a Clifden ed a Killarey harbour). Piacevole per i bambini la presenza degli animali.

Ein ganzes Haus für uns alleine. Viel Platz. Grün - und Ruhelage. Ideal für Familien. Für Selbstversorger ist alles da.

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man könnte das eine oder andere erneuern.

Les maisons sont très cosy, au calme, bien agencées. C'est sympathique de croiser les animaux dans le jardin. C'est très bien placé. Diamond hill, courses et restaurants à 5 min à pieds, magnifiques plages à 10 min en voiture. Abbaye à 5 min.

L'emplacement et l'espace à vivre. La maison est grande, coquette, bien située et propre. La visite des cochons !

Certains lits ont une literie trop usée pour être confortables. Pas de douche possible le premier soir car l'eau chaude dépend d'un programmateur. L'absence de visite ou lien avec les propriétaires.

Great location, lots of space for a large family group. Outdoor space and animals are fun for kids. Short walk to shop, cafes, restaurants, pubs and national park. Friendly and helpful hosts.

The house was very spacious with brilliant kitchen, dining area and living room.

The house was a little tired. Needs some TLC. Mattresses need updating. Single beds had memory foam toppers which was an improvement.

No shampoo or soap in the shower. Fortunately my friend had shampoo.

Kitchen is large and useful.

I reserved a house with 6 bedrooms, 9 beds and bathtubs. We got only 8 beds and no bathtubs. Clearly the wrong house. House was really cold when we arrived and no instructions how to warm it up. Only after numerous calls I finally got the owner who explained how to turn on the heating. The fireplace they so eagerly emphasize has no wood and no lighter to fire. House ran out of water in the morning so we couldn't flush toilets or take shower. Curtains provided zero darkness in the morning so the whole house was awake with dawn. We only received 6 towels despite being 8 adults. I asked for towels 6 TIMES - to no success.

We loved the animals roaming around! The setting was beautiful! The home was adorable and very comfortable! We wished we had booked it for two nights instead of just one! Short walk to Letterfrack and a close drive to Clifton and Kylemore Abbey! Absolutely lovely farm cottage! We loved it and would love to return someday!

Beautiful surrounding great place to stay on road trip around west of Ireland. Very clean and so comfy. Spacious great price absolutely great time we spent there!

Maybe there could have been a better stock of cups/mugs for such a big house and the WiFi was very sketchy

Keys were in the door when we arrived. The friendly animals were on site throughout the day and were a lovely site. Plenty of space throughout the house. Host responded quickly to any messages or questions we had.

Banisters were very lose which was a bit of a safety concern. Radiator did not work in upstairs doubly room to the right of the bathroom. No lock on downstairs bathroom.

Great location. Loads of room and very clean. Kids had a great experience with the animals.

nice, spacious, comfortable and clean home offered everything we need, surrounded by nice green area and lovely farm animals. Close to village centre, Connemara National Park and only 5km to Kylemore Abbey. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cosy stay surrounded by nature.

It was our second time there. The house is large and well-appointed, the atmosphere is relaxed, and plenty of space. The location is fantastic with pubsxand restaurants nearby.

The location in Letterfrack was great! We could walk in to the village at night for drinks and dinner. Lovely.

The mattress in the single room downstairs was very soft and gave the adult occupant a sore back!

Spacious property with many facilities, great for family and friends. The property is situated in a beautiful place close to shops, mountains,etc. Nice and warm.

The place is a nice operating farm and it is great. The house as well is huge and very comfortable.

Even if the house is great, it would need some modernization both in the structure and in the home appliances.

Very cosy cottage with a lot of space in a great location to visit the national park and/or Kylemore Abbey. Well equipped large kitchen. Nice bath in the bathroom. Comfortable and relaxing living room that makes you feel right at home. Large TV to catch up on some news (batteries of the remote need to be changed!). Silent neighbourhood with some cute farm animals. Even though it was August the cottage was heated due to cold temperatures during the night. Fantastic supermarket which can easily be reached by foot.

Quality of the mattresses (too old and too soft for our likings). An extra curtain at the front door would give some more privacy (especially in the evening). Front door was rather hard to open/lock. I eventually managed but it wasn't very straightforward (even though I already knew locking required the handle to be moved up). Personally, I would have appreciated to see the owners even for just 5 minutes upon arrival, during visit or at checkout.

Great location for getting around Connemara also big and spacious very quite at night

Often no hot water and difficult to work. TV and internet where not working but We did manage to fix the Tv by playing around with connecting wires

clean, comfortable and very large holiday house. Perfect to discover the Connemara part. Shops, restaurants, pubs are near, five minutes walk. Top!

The cottage was lovely, the kids really enjoyed the goats, pigs, cat and horses. We are already planning to come back next year

This property (number 5) is in need of urgent general maintenance and in our opinion is not fit to be let out. The electrics looked unsafe with tape over a broken switch and the cooker switch was broken. Some of the kitchen doors were broken, the bathrooms were tatty, there were holes in the towels and the beds were uncomfortable with cheap/old mattresses. The sofas were really grubby looking. The wooden banister was loose and spindles were missing. The garden was tatty and the airier out there broken. I am so glad we had only booked one night and had no children with us.

Spacious and clean. Loved the animals.

No hot water or heat in downstairs. Laundry area with dryers was a mess and unusable.

Nice, warm and cosy house. First look - small house. Inside we have a lot of space. Comfy beds, big kitchen, fireplace. Very good location for travel - Connemara Park, Clifden, Killary Harbour and many more places. Outside a lot space for kids, animals. If you travel with big family or friends this house is for you. I love this part of Connemara.

The cottages were in a remote but lovely location. A short walk into the village where there are some nice restaurants and a good supermarket. The house itself was a little bit 'tired' in places but comfortable enough and very clean. Being remote and on a farm , need to expect the sounds of the countryside but it did not cause a problem. In fact, it was quite entertaining having a large pig wanting to come in an join you for breakfast. It was nice to crossover from the cottage and see the varied selection of animals resident on site. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Connemara Park and we enjoyed a walk up Diamond Hill which is very close by.

I don't think there was anything that would have improved our stay.

I liked everything about this place. There were friendly animals around for the kids to visit in the morning. The house so comfortable for 8 of us and close walk to a shop and pubs that served food, and a lovely casual pizza bar at hostel nearby. Letterfrack is a great base to return to for food after a day out exploring Connemara. It was perfect for an extended family holiday. 2 bedrooms are downstairs for grandmother. We found the house was nicer than shown in the pictures.
