Comfortable and clean. Plenty of room. Great location.
Some updating required.
Love the location and the house is very spacious :)
It was very comfortable, clean and great location
House was lovely and nice area
Washing machine broken and instructed to use ones by the horse arena. When we went down the goat rammed the side of my car causing damage and jumped on my passenger window when my wife was trying to get out to go to the machines, Tried contacting host (contact was excellent up to this) and explained and I never received any response! We left with a damaged car ! Extremely upsetting and ruined our stay !! Animals should not be out if they are causing damage and host should be answering !
We loved the location, it was central for all the exploring we were doing. My daughter loved the animals and we all loved the cosy feel and laid back nature of the area. Suited our multi generational travel group. Good communication of directions to get to the house, into the house and the surrounding areas.
The downstairs shower didn't work which was a bit inconvenient. And the back garden area would have been great if there was a gate to enclose the area, for the dog to be let off the lead. There were some areas of the house that may need some work, a few holes in the wall. But none of this took away from the nature and beauty that was around us and we were able to come together as a family!
The location was great! We were in walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. In addition, we were close to Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. The house was spacious and comfortable.
Für Familien grossartig. Tiere zum anfassen
Alles bestens
Hiša je na prijetni mirni urejeni lokaciji. Je zelo prostorna in dobro opremljena.
Beautiful setting, the piggies, and the comfortable house.
Nothing.

Great location, the pig outside was so cute. Few pubs and a descent supermarket in 10 minutes walking distance. Mountain walk entrance in 15 minutes
The separate hot and cold water taps were a bit inconvenient and took some getting used to. Mixing the water comfortably was difficult at times
Can't fault the stay at all. The cottage was prefect and the scenery was stunning. The animals were brilliant bonus as the young kids enjoyed them. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend break who wants to explore the west of Ireland.
I wouldnt change anything but if I was to rebook again I would try for around mid July when the weather would hopefully be warmer.
Location peace and quiet
All was good
Hadden gelezen over loslopende kippen, varkens aaien, pony rijden etc.
Charming cottage with lots of space. Its location was very walkable and convenient. The animals were so fun!
Huge House !!!! Big Kitchen!
Sliding shower door ground floor needs to be fixed. It came off was a bit scary.
Location. Letterfrack has some nice restaurants and bars with very friendly locals.
The property was run down and not clean. There was a large clump of long hair in the shower. Definitely not one of us as we are all bald. Our neighbours in the house next door also complained about the poor standard of hygiene.
The property was charming. The house was heated when we arrived after a long day of traveling thru Connemara. The animals were so gentle and lovely for the children. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen and great for us to be able to cook a few meals for our family.
Location Size of property - plenty of rooms and beds Comfort - cosy and lots of hot water Clean with nice additions e.g hand soap, towels, tea bags and utensils/crockery Surrounds- children particularly enjoyed seeing the animals
Safety/security concerns: Leaking ceiling in kitchen- water dripping, slip hazard. Lovely new shower but reluctant to use in case it exacerbated the leak. Not all windows were lockable/secure/fully working order(concern for us as travelling with small children) If window issues could have been resolved fully, rating would definitely have been higher as it met our expectations in lots of ways.
Fantastic location. Walking distance to the village and national park. Lovely animals around the house. Very spacious. Fully equipped kitchen. Car charging facility at the national park visitor centre which is about a 10 minute walk away
Love the location, setting & the animals, we had a wonderful time
A little bit dated but absolutely perfect for a group of friends who want to discover the wonderful west of Ireland
Property was very spacious with everything you needed for a family visit. Well located & walking distance to the village & all amenities. Children had a great time with the animals especially the pigs & goats, they were so friendly & gentle.
Very spacious and warm house! Kitchen is massive and allows several parties to cook at the same time. Houses are located quite close to each other, but this does not disturb the privacy. All gardens are located in the way, that nobody disturbs the others. Lovely walks around the area. Free walking farm animals are just awesome! The village centre is literally 2 minutes walk. A big shop with everything you might need during your stay and a great pub with extensive menu and very friendly staff. Lovely beach 15 mins walk away. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!
Some kitchen utensils could be improved - knives, chopping boards, frying pans. I am sure the host can bring if requested, but we had our own, so did not ask.
Waking up to the animals on are doorstep was magic for young and old
It was in a pretty setting. It was a spacious home allowing for a large group or family. But not great for a 1 overnight stay, especially with no instructions on how to heat the home on a freezing night!
It was freezing cold in the house with no instructions on how to turn on the heat. The fireplace had no wood! It would be nice to have an information book available to explain the facilities in the house.
Great for groups. Near the village with a shop and some pubs! Loved the animals. Nice walks nearby too!!
Location and it was warm
Bed linens old and uncomfortable. Mattresses uncomfortable. Kitchen utensils poor. Pots and pans were old and needed to be non stick There was not even a spatula or a wooden spoon. Thaa as nkfly there was an air fryer although it was very used so I was able to use this for cooking breakfast.
We come here twice a year for our grandparents anniversary mass. Perfect location, walking distance to Letterfrack village. Would love if check out was a little later but its still manageable. The kids love the farm animals that are roaming freely during the day. We needed to book an extra night this time around and Carmel was very helpful in getting it organised. We'll be back again in April 😊
It was very clean on the inside, everything worked for us okay, shower (very good water pressure) and kitchen and it was close to the village, we could walk to the bars and restaurants. Perfect for a one night stay during a round trip.
Just a bit old-fashioned, house could use a bit of an upgrade.
Great house in great location. Fully equipped kitchen and fireplace in a living room. Kids were excited to by animals
The location was nice, in the nature close to restaurants and national park were start the Diamond Hill hike
Beds and couch were not confortable. Hard to understand how to get warm water. Not very clean
Handy location for Connemara NP. Comfortable, quiet and pleasant.
It wasn't good value for us as we only needed two bedrooms. The kitchen contained no food supplies. 'Farm cottage' is misleading as it isn't on a farm.
Quiet, lovely cottage, great location. We all loved the animals wwalking around.
No laundrey appliances.
The location, the animals. The peace and quiet. The house was beautiful, so welcoming and warm. My kids absolutely loved being outside with the animals. It was an added bonus of the excellent house. The house was spotless. I have been looking for another free weekend to return here since we left!
Only small thing, as I have a bad back I found the beds uncomfortable.
Location was excellent! Right beside Connemara National Park.
Towels for showering were not on site, however host was quick to deliver them once we messaged them upon our arrival which was relatively late in the evening. Towels were worn and ratty, but they worked.
We only stayed for one night, the house was very large, there were just the three of us. Some decorations and maintenance was needed to spruce up the house, this is my opinion. However, this did not spoil our stay.
When we booked the checkout was stated as 11, but correspondence later stated 10am checkout. Although we didn't meet our host she communicated with us before our stay really well.
large spacious house, idyllic setting with animals I recommend
not applicable on the breakfast as we ate out. Location was perfect walking distance to the town of letterfrack town, lovely scenic views from this location
Beautiful location and the cottage was very spacious and clean. Kids loved seeing the farm animals. 5 minute walk to cafes and restaurants.
Loved the house, was nice and big, very homey though! Also enjoyed that it was on a working farm.
Internet was down but it was sorted out by the next day, wasn’t a big issue though!
Very nice and clean house, BIG house. 😊 Walking distance to nice pub and shop in town have everything you need for your holiday. Very quite area around house. Im sure we back soon again.
The property was very clean, spacious, and meet all of our needs.
This is our 4th stay at the cottages and they are in a fabulous location for our needs. Walking distance to shop, pubs/restaurants and connemara national park. We were travelling as more than one family group so these cottages are ideal. Lovely view from our cottage and plenty of space.
Cottage very tired and in need of refurbishment, particularly the bathrooms. WiFi didn't work for any of our stay. TV very basic and remote didn't work, owner informed and remote replaced but he was unable to tune it in to the telly! Probably most worrying was that the latch on the window in one of the downstairs bedrooms was broken and could not be closed or locked. We had ants in the kitchen, owner's son sent round to put powder down which eventually did the trick but not very pleasant.
Location was a great spot, just a very short walk to the local pub, Molly's, and a great seafood restaurant, Cloverfox, with a nice convenience store nearby too. If we ever make it back to that area, we will definitely be staying there again!
The farm animals roaming about was just fantastic. A few even came into the house! Kids loved it and so did the adults!
Very minor annoyance was that some of the light bulbs weren't working
Its a big house on a nice location.
The bed almost fell apart, everything was old and in a poor state. There was no pan to bake an egg or meat.
A lovely spacious cottage surounded by beautiful nature. We were greeted by two curious goats and loved interacting with animals. The cottage is well-kept, clean and cosy. We loved our stay!
flat stone-hard pillows
Very good location and good peaceful location
Nothing as such
It was a beautiful place. There were 6 bedrooms and 2 toilets. There is plenty of space in the house, and there were shops at walkable distances. Farm animals are so lovely to see and pet.
The only cons I found were small flies and tics outside.
It is a lovely house for spend time with family. Lots of rooms and great kitchen and dinning area. It has all what you need to spend some days there. It feels like home. We will come back if we have the chance and hopefully the farm will be fully open.
I like everything but I do believe the house needs some repairs/maintenance (one of the toilet was out of service and other details). It was a pity the farm was not open this year. The check out is at 10am. The website says it is 11am.
Very nice house with everything needed. Animals of the farm are charming! Suggested!

Great house. There is everything what you need.Beside house is small pet farm.
Nothing
Perfect location, good size rooms and living spaces.
The properties are a little outdated
Location was good and it was a spacious house and good number of beds
Old building No towels No handwash/shampoo or soap there. No oil in kitchen
Big comfy house, amazing location. Kids love kitchen visiting cat and cute piggies. We loved the place.
