The rooms are better than they look in the pictures. Lying in the tub looking over islands and Krabi in the distance, was one the best experiences I had until the sun rises here - one of the most beautiful ones I've seen🤌🏼 their bathroom is one of my favourite ever. Best part is I got to see the vibrancy of the place through a hot, bright sunny day and also the romantic gloominess through a cloudy, wet morning - same place, 2 emotions. Namfo and team team do a stellar job with the upkeep and service. The food is outstanding, no matter what you order. Everything from beer to massages to bikes available on site. Please do note - this is a not a party place, it the complete opposite - be with yourself and lose yourself in time here, else don't go. Highly recommended!

Has to be location first, stunning views, we only stayed for one night to have a bit of us time and it was the perfect date night, lovely infinity plunge pool, villa had everything we needed. The restaurant on the beach was perfect! Great vibe, even better view, food was amazing, couldn’t fault it, breakfast was good too. Namfon really looked after us as well as organizing our transport to and from the hotel. I’d definitely recommend the villa.

The roof terrace was a perfect viewing spot, shame it wasn’t well kept to enjoy fully.

The host met us at the door, very friendly, helpful, welcoming.. not enough words to describe her and her colleagues.

The location was amazing, easily the nicest views on the entire island and close to everything you need. Its a quiet location, especially during low season, so you really get to just relax and enjoy peace. The staff were so friendly and readily available for anything i needed.

Only thing that could have been better, and it's a personal preference, was the bed was a bit hard.

Everything about the resort was amazing! We were escorted to the villa and checked in quickly and easily. The manager was so helpful and approachable, with excellent recommendations and answers.

I wish we could have stayed longer

The resort picked us upon arrival and did check-in in our villa, which was convenient. The villa was large and had a good view on to the beach and ocean. The plunge pool was nice to have. There are a few good restaurants around, and the restaurant at the beach is decent. The beef Khao Soi is recommended.

The grounds were under-developed. Well defined walkways with shrubs and flowers would have helped. One did not have any sense of luxury being there. Toilets at the restaurant and pool did not meet any international standard; they felt more like outhouses. The villas were passable, but again felt more like an standard apartment in any European town, nothing luxurious or specifically Thai about them at all. One is paying only for the plunge pool on the terrace, which is nice. But if not planning to use the plunge pool often (we didn't), then one can get far better value at other places on Ko Yao Yai, or indeed other islands. We were there during off-season (May) so there was no breakfast buffet, only ordering from a paper menu. When generous buffets are the standard for resorts of this price range, it was disappointing to only have a few items which which to choose. The tides here are large, making swimming during large parts of the day not possible, although walks along the sands/mud tidal flats were an interesting alternative.

Very spacious, well kept private pool, nespresso machine in the room, spacious bathroom with large walk in shower. Very nice staff. View from the restaurant at the beach is fantastic.

We had an amazing couple of nights at the Saengsuree Villas. We stayed in a pool villa with incredible views. The villas was gorgeous. Very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The dinner menu was fantastic and we ate there both nights. Loved being able to enjoy our meals on the beach. Breakfast was great. The staff helped us organize a great scooter and side car rental. Which we had so much fun exploring the island on. The beach in front of the resort is rocky, but we did see some people swimming. They even have a pet rabbit down on the beach that might come and say hello when you are walking to the restaurant. From the welcome drinks to the free transfer from the ferry we were incredibly impressed by this resort. Overall this is one of the nicest villas we have stayed in and such great value for money too.

Such an amazing view! A very relaxing private setting and a huge floating breakfast. Very kind and helpful host that will make sure your stay is perfect. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Amazing all round, the villa was immaculate staff both for the hotel and restaurant were also very helpful. Overall a really beautiful place to relax on a great island.

This resort is exceptional. It gave me the best view from a hotel room that I have ever had, anywhere. Gorgeous apartment, with glorious attention to detail, inclusive soft drinks and welcome fruits in the room. We turned up three hours early and were checked in early, no question. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff are on hand 24/7.

Not an issue for us, but the resteraunt for breakfast is on the beach. This is a gorgeous setting however is down quite a few steps and slope, which may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

Special shout out to Khwan - The General Manager. She was so attentive and so helpful, I literally had a medical issue and she booked a time at the local clinic for a checkup, and when they recommended I go to the nearby Hospital in Phuket, Khwan helped arrange all the transfers, and constantly made sure everything was ok and that I was recovering well. She was available all the time (when does she sleep - I don’t know) and she found a solution to every request. The room was nice and spacious, we were a bit disappointed that the TV is in the living room and not in the bedroom, but that wasn’t an issue. The private pool was phenomenal - always in the right temperature for a nice dip, and in the afternoon it was fully in the shade which was even nicer (the sun is scorching hot). The location was great too, with a couple of local restaurants nearby which is great. For the restaurants that are further away - The hotel offers a free transport to wherever you wish to go on the island which was fantastic.

Very few things, not worth taking away even 1 star for them. The TV was in the living room and not in the bedroom (I understand the design choice behind it, but it’s more of a personal preference). There were a few ants and spiders in the room, but that is almost always inevitable in Thailand, so not a big issue.

Wir haben leider den Eindruck gewonnen, dass sich Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit leider nicht durchgehend im gesamten Team widerspiegelt. Die meisten Mitarbeitenden, denen wir begegnet sind, waren grundsätzlich freundlich, insbesondere auch die Mitarbeiter, die man auf der Anlage gesehen hat. Beim Frühstück hatten wir allerdings eine gegenteilige Erfahrung. Eine Mitarbeiterin war so unfreundlich, dass wir das in dieser Form noch nie erlebt haben. Selbst auf eine freundliche Begrüßung unsererseits kam keinerlei Reaktion. Auch beim Check-out gab es kein „Auf Wiedersehen“, keine Nachfrage, ob uns der Aufenthalt gefallen hat, oder ähnliche abschließende Worte. Insgesamt wirkte der Service in diesen Momenten eher distanziert und wenig zugewandt.

Das Hotel punktet vor allem mit seiner überragenden Lage und der wirklich wunderschönen Aussicht, die den Aufenthalt auf den ersten Blick sehr attraktiv macht. Auch das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und bemüht, was positiv hervorzuheben ist.

Leider überwiegen insgesamt die negativen Aspekte. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Es roch stark nach Feuchtigkeit, und an den Wänden war bereits abblätternde Farbe sichtbar. Auch die Anlage wirkte teilweise ungepflegt – im Pool lösten sich Fliesen, und es trat Wasser aus den Außenwänden aus. Die Matratze war zudem extrem hart und sorgte für wenig Schlafkomfort. Das Personal war zwar nett, wirkte jedoch häufig überfordert. Besonders kritisch ist der Zustand des Strandes zu sehen, da dort zahlreiche Glasscherben lagen und Barfußlaufen kaum möglich war. Das Hotelrestaurant konnte ebenfalls nicht überzeugen – das Essen war höchstens durchschnittlich, und es gibt deutlich bessere Alternativen.

Rauhallinen, siisti ja hyvä lomapaikka. Ei hälinää ja loistava palvelu sekä henkilökunta. Järjestelyt retkille ja muutenkin sujuivat helposti ja selkeästi. Villa oli siisti ja siellä täysin oma rauha. Ravintolassa oli hyvä valikoima, hyvää ruokaa ja kaikki ruokailumme onnistuneita. Saaren länsirannalla parempia uimapaikkoja.

Meressä kävimme uimassa muilla rannoilla, tällä rannalla hieman kivistä ja sameampaa vettä. Tämä oli toki jo aiemmista arvioista selvää ja vuokrattuamme skootterin loman ajaksi oli helppo kulkea muille saaren rannoille.

The staff is very attentive to every detail. From the car to pick you up from the boat, to the check-in directly in the villa, to the big details regarding our anniversary: everything was perfect. The view is spectacular, the room is nice and tidy. The beachfront restaurant is delicious for dinner and breakfast.

Close proximity to the island's only street. You can't hear much from the bedroom but during the day the cars can be quite noisy. Not true for all villas, ours was just particularly close to the road.

Breakfast was really delicious and there were many options for guests to choose. Villa was beautiful and all the staff were amazing and ready to help. Seaside restaurant offered delicious and fresh food witch we enjoyed very much. We loved our stay at Saengsuree villas and will definitely come back. Huge thanks to all the staff .

Nous étions dans la chambre B6 : la rangée la plus basse correspondant aux.chmabres B. Nous étions l'une des chambres les plus hautes de la partie B. On a très apprécié l'emplacement de cette chambre. B1 correspondant à la plus basse et ok imagine les chambres A encore au-dessus. La vue est incroyable, levez-vous tôt pour assister au lever de soleil,.vous ne le regretterez pas... Le petit déjeuner est incroyable, le restaurant est top, les pieds dans le sable., L'accueil est très sympa, les chambres sont splendides, la terrasse des chambres avec la piscine privée très agréable, surtout en fin de journée quand le soleil ne tape plus dessus car il y fait chaud dès 8h. Contrairement à certains avis que nous avons pu voir, la température de la piscine était parfaite. Nous avons pu louer un scooter juste en face de suite en arrivant (500 baths pour quasi 2 jours). Bien situé pour visiter l'île en 2-3 jours. L'hôtel organise les transferts, ce qui est appréciable.

Peut-être qu'il faudrait davantage d'entretien à la terrasse du restaurant dans laquelle on peut se prendre les pieds. Peut-être aussi apporter une lumière plus tamisée dans les chambres et aussi un coup de rafraîchissement par ci par là. Mais ce sont des détails qui ne changent pas l'avis global, 10/10 sans hésitation.

Sans hésitation le logement et sa petite piscine a bulle privative avec vue sur la mer et les iles. La qualité de la literie. Les services apportés par l'hôtel, tels que les réservations de taxis pour l'arrivée et le départ ou la location de scooter via leur partenaire en face. Le restaurant est très bien et les petits déjeuners sont impeccables. L'équipe est très efficace et très chaleureuse.

Le pourtour de la grande piscine ou du restaurant avec des planches en bois plutôt détériorées. Et dans le même esprit l'escalier qui fait la liaison avec les bâtiments mériterait d'avoir des marches avec un espacement régulier car le soir, de nuit, il faut être concentré pour éviter de mettre le pied entre deux marches.

The villas were nice, furnishings a bit outdated but the plunge pool and view were spectacular and very relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helping us arrange transportation to and from the island and provided information about tours and bike rentals. The restaurant on the beach is rustic and could use some furniture updates but the food and service were excellent. The breakfast smoothies were the best in Thailand. The resort manager even arrange a cooking class for us with the restaurant chef, so fun. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to other travellers.

Honestly one of the best resorts to go to in Ko Yao Yai. The scenery is out of this world. Its almost like the water blends in with the sky. The villa has a pool and is big and spacious. The service is fantastic. Me and my wife were coming from Krabi to Ko Yao Yai and I informed the hotel owner. She was kind enough to arrange a private cab from the port to the resort and offered a complimentary drink and welcomed us. The villas are on a top hill infront of the beach which gives a better look from up top to the beach view. Downhill on the beach there is a very nice restaurant part of the resort. The breakfast is 5/5 and dinner menu is delicious. The room service is very quick and helpful! I needed alo vera gel due to sun burn and it was provided in no time! I even needed vinegar for cloth stain and that was provided (full support!). The tourist packages are very fair and not overpriced (on par with booking direct with tourist company). I recommend picking a trip with them, they provide transportation and all. I went to Ko Hong island which was absolutely amazing. They also provided complimentary transportation to the port and helped with booking a ferry to Phuket at cost price. Honestly. A must do if you go to Ko Yao Yai.

Liked it all. I will visit again if I come back to Thailand.

- Rapport Qualité/Prix : l'hôtel est beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations proposées. Après avoir testé d'autres établissements en Thaïlande, j'ai trouvé bien mieux (plus moderne et en bord de mer) pour un prix inférieur. - La chambre : bien que spacieuse, la décoration est très "vieillotte". L'infrastructure globale est vétuste, notamment la plomberie et les transats de la piscine privée. - Propreté : décevante. Nous avons trouvé des taches sur les draps ainsi que sur les serviettes. - Petit-déjeuner : Correct mais pas du tout à la hauteur du tarif demandé. Les horaires (8h-10h) sont trop tardifs pour la Thaïlande où les journées commencent tôt. De plus, l'accueil y était froid (une serveuse ne disait pas bonjour), ce qui est très inhabituel pour ce pays. - Service : À peine arrivés, on nous a demandé de régler la totalité du séjour immédiatement. C’est la première fois que cela m'arrive en Thaïlande, où l'on paie normalement au check-out. C’est assez peu accueillant. - La plage : la vue est belle, mais la plage est impraticable à cause des nombreux cailloux. L’accès via de nombreuses marches est également fatiguant. En résumé : un établissement qui aurait besoin d'une rénovation complète et d'un meilleur management pour justifier ses tarifs. Je ne recommanderais pas au prix actuel.

The view and the private swimming pool. Staffs were very polite and attentive. They did everything that we asked which really impressed us.

The restaurant had an uneven floor and some of the food was not covered and had attracted flies. In the rooms some of the doors and fixtures were loose or badly fitting.

We loved everything about this villa. The communication with Namfon was amazing! She explained everything in detail for us when we arrived and she organized a driver to pick us up from the pier and drop us off when we left .She was so attentive to every need we had and very helpful and she replied very quick to our requests. We booked one of the pool villas overlooking the sea and it was a dream! The villa was tastefully decorated , modern and very clean! The pool was the right temperature for this hot weather and we loved looking at the stunning views from it and also chilling on the balcony. The breakfast had many choices and it was very nice and the dinner was absolutely delicious! The staff made this stay extra special ,everyone was so lovely and professional! We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Koh Yao Yay! Thank you Namfon and the team of Saengsuree Villas!

Great value - 5 Star Villa and Amenities with a 3 Star Price. It was easy to book transfers, tours, massages, etc. through the Villa hosts and they made sure the stay was perfect. The restaurant is right on the beach and a short walk from the rooms, making it very convenient to always be able to get a bite to eat. The pool on the patio is very nice to be able to relax and look out at the stunning views.

Die Anlage ist ein kleines Hideaway, in dem man sich wirklich sehr wohl fühlt. Unsere Poolvilla -ein kleines Refugium - war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Speisen im Seaview Restaurant waren hervorragend und das Personal inklusive Chefin war stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Wir haben die Woche im Saengsuree wirklich sehr genossen.

Der Steg zum Meer sowie die Treppen beim Pool haben einige Stolperfallen und sollten restauriert werden.

Prachtig uitzicht, super relaxte sfeer. Heerlijk eten, dineren op het strand. Huisje was schoon. Zon op zien komen in je eigen privé zwembad.

The rooms at Saengsuree are outstanding. They are small houses, with a pool and roof terrace. Beautifully decorated and the most amazing views from the pool and balcony. There are a few restaurants within a 10 min walk, or hire a bike to get around more easily. Koh Yao Yai is not a developed island, so it is quiet and beautiful, and sparsely populated

It's such a shame that it's not really possible to swim in the sea from the resort. Maybe a future investment could be a walkway that takes you beyond the rocks so that it's easier to access the clearer water?

La vue avec piscine sur mer est imprenable. Le personnel est au petit soin et très gentil.

L’attente au restaurant. La chambre était habitée par des araignées et des salamandres. Je pense qu’il serait bien de donner un bon coup de nettoyage.

Понравилось абсолютно всё. Отличная вилла. Чистота. Вода в бассейне идеальная. Очень заботливый персонал. Предусмотрели все для нашего прибытия и отъезда. Трансфер от пирса был любезно предоставлен владельцами. Заранее спланировали наш отъезд с острова, чтобы мы успели на спидбот, организовав билеты на лодку и трансфер от отеля до пирса. Таким образом мы чувствовали себя как в раю. Нам ни о чем не приходилось думать)) Отдельно можно отметить превосходные завтраки и неповторимые виды)) Спасибо! Мы еще вернемся!

Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin, der wunderschönen Montha, herzlich empfangen und zu einem Willkommensdrink an die Bar geführt. Danach zeigte man uns die Villa mit dem privaten Pool. Das Frühstück war köstlich, das Abendessen sowohl von der Kulisse als auch vom Essen her himmlisch, und das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten gleich über die Strasse einen Scooter mieten, ohne Kaution.

Am wenigsten gefallen hat mir der große Pool, da es dort keine Möglichkeit gab zu duschen. Ausserdem fallen im Wasser die Plättchen ab, und das Holz rund um den Pool ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen.

Es fehlt etwas Feintuning für den Preis. Holzterrasse im Restaurant ist eine Stolperfalle. Im Hauptpool lösen sich die Fliesen. Liegen am Strand sind morgens noch mit Geschirr vom Abend belegt. Servicepersonal beim Frühstück etwas überlastet. Etwas wenig Schattenplätze am Strand.

Complexe de villas tout confort, en 1re ligne sur la plage.. les petits bassins sont vraiement un plus. Service très professionnel et accueillant. .petits déjeuners et restaurant sur la plage, carte courte mais soignée, cuisine ouverte. Dans les villas, frigos et nespresso regarnis chaque jour. Navette au port a l arrivée et au retour. Nous avons apprécié le caractère intimiste de l établissement. A 10 min en taxi de la plage carte postale de. l ile

Amazing panoramic views of the ocean with beautiful morning sunlight. Each room was well equipped with a coffee maker, which was great for laying in bed in the morning and gazing out the window. Private deck and mini pool for each room as well. The restaurant had really wonderful food and we enjoyed eating here each night. Staff was very kind and helped book transportation to and from hotel. Also had scooters!

A bit far from any place that you can swim, and there is no community pool, but the scooters do help and are a fun way to explore.

When we return to Koh Yao Yai, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for couples, honeymooners, and anyone looking for a peaceful luxury escape.

Das Personal war einfach toll. Immer erreichbar und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr gut.

Wir wussten nicht, dass es am Hotel kein richtiger Strand gibt. Aber da wir ein Poolhaus hatten, war es nicht problematisch. Wir haben einen Roller gemietet und sind verschiedene Strände angefahren.

Wir waren vom ersten Moment an begeistert. Traumhafter Ausblick vom privaten Infinity Pool auf die Andamanensee, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und Abendessen, sehr herzliches und hilfsbereites Team. Wir wären gerne länger als 3 Tage geblieben, auch die sehr relaxte Insel hat uns gut gefallen.

Baden vor dem Ressort ist nur eingeschränkt möglich, aber das wussten wir im Vorfeld. Manche Stege im Ressort erfordern Trittsicherheit

Es war vom Anfang bis zum Ende alles perfekt. Von den wunderschönen Villen mit traumhafter Aussicht, über das leckere Essen direkt am Meer bis zum hilfsbereiten und kompetenten Personal - hier passt einfach alles. Wir hatten ursprünglich nur 3 Nächte gebucht und sind dann 14 Nächte geblieben. Die Villen haben alle einen super Ausblick - für Frühaufsteher auch auf den Sonnenaufgang. Das vielfältige und qualitativ hochwertige Frühstück kann direkt am Strand genossen werden. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Abendessen sowie das 5-Gänge Candlelight Dinner. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank auch an das Management für die tolle Unterstützung. Uns wurde sogar ein kostenloser Shuttle zur Verfügung gestellt. Eine absolute Herzensempfehlung unsererseits - gerade für die Flitterwochen.

Massage kann über das Hotel gebucht werden - es kommen externe Masseusen ins Zimmer. Die Massage war hat uns leider nicht so gefallen. Hier gibt es bessere Möglichkeiten auf der Insel.

Wij boekten deze accommodatie voor de laatste nachten van onze 3-weekse trip in Thailand en wat hebben wij onszelf verwend! Een prachtige locatie met mooi uitzicht, zeer ruime villa met een heerlijk (ietwat fris) privé zwembadje en een heerlijke badkamer. Goede bedden, lekkere douche en beneden aan het water een heerlijk ontbijtje. Het restaurant (waar ook externen kunnen dineren) was heerlijk en had een uitgebreid menu met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Verder hebben wij tijdens ons verblijf op een middag de boottrip gedaan, met een prachtige stop op een onbewoond eiland met zonsondergang. Verder was de locatie zeer behulpzaam met het regelen en organiseren van onze tocht van en naar het eiland toe. Ik raad deze accommodatie dan ook ten zeerste aan!

Het is alles bij elkaar wel prijzig voor Thaise begrippen, maar voor vier zéér luxe dagen op een stukje paradijs heb ik er geen spijt van. Verder is het zwemmen in de zee bij het hotel niet aan te raden (veel rotsen, laag water en het is niet overal even schoon). Gelukkig is er bij het strand ook een groter zwembad om wat baantjes te trekken en kun je dus een dagdeel met een boot verder het water op.

The staff were wonderfully friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable, making us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The food was phenomenal - truly the best we have ever had. Every meal was beautifully presented and packed with flavour and the breakfast buffet was beyond incredible, offering a wide variety of delicious options each day. The staff made everything effortless, from arranging transfers and day tours to ensuring fresh water was provided daily. Every little detail was thought of, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. We are genuinely sad to be leaving, but already planning our return. This place is a rare gem - it’s where luxury meets warmth and hospitality. We’ll be telling all our friends about this amazing experience and returning for many years to come.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience au Saengsuree Villas Koh Yao Yai. Les villas sont magnifiques, spacieuses et parfaitement entretenues, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Le calme du lieu permet de vraiment se ressourcer. Le personnel est incroyablement gentil, toujours souriant et prêt à aider pour organiser les transferts, louer un scooter ou donner de bons conseils. Le restaurant est également un vrai point fort : plats délicieux, petit-déjeuner généreux et ambiance conviviale. Mention spéciale pour le coucher de soleil depuis la terrasse, tout simplement magique. Un endroit parfait pour se détendre en couple ou entre amis. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Schoonmaken was niet zoals gehoopt. Alleen de beddengoed was veranderd. Terwijl dit voor mij meest belangrijke is.
