Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Wir sind mit dem Speedboat von Koh Lanta angereist. Über WhatsApp habe wir ohne Problem mit dem Resort ein Taxi und Roller organisieren können. Das Resort liegt super um mit dem Roller die Insel zu erkunden. Wir haben über das Hotel eine Longtail Tour gebucht auf die Insel Koh Hong. Es war sehr schön. Wir sind schon um 8 Uhr gestartet was sehr gut war. Denn die Insel wurde danach voller. Das Resort hat ein Restaurant dabei. Dies haben wir mittags einmal für einen Snack genutzt. Der sehr lecker war. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Es gab auch frische Eier und auf Anfrage auch Mango. Ich würde dieses Resort immer wieder buchen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich Das Resort ist sehr gut gepflegt. Die Aussicht vom Pool ist super und man kann super den Sonnenaufgang sehen. Für den Sonnenuntergang empfehlen wir in der Nähe das SBay SBay Restaurant.

Destacaría el aire acondicionado, la comodidad de la cama y la piscina de 7x4 es brutal, lo mejor de la casa sin duda. Buen desayuno, todo rico y servicio de tortilla o huevos Te ayudan en todo para hacer excursiones o lo que quieras. Buena cocina para cenar / comer Justo enfrente hay un restaurante a pie de playa que es super bonito y buena cocina. Muy recomendable

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Wir waren zu viert für 3 Tage im Koh Yao Yai Hillside. Hatten eine Poolvilla und ein Doppelzimmer konnten vor Ort ohne Probleme in die Familien Poolvilla wechseln. Riesiger eigener Pool. Zimmer waren immer sauber. Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kommen definitiv wieder.

Location was beautiful, the rooms were all built into a hillside providing lovely views of the ocean. We splurged and got the private pool which was well worth it given the heat. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Delicious Thai and “Western” options with lots of fresh fruit.

There were some ants in the room but those stuff are maybe to be expected living in a bungalow-style room on a tropical island. Music playing until 10-11 pm from nearby restaurants.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The resort is in a great location with the best restaurant and bar directly across the road. Pina coladas are a must try. The pool villa was spacious and clean. Beds are a little hard. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection and choice of eggs cooked to preference. I would say as noted by other guests the power lines do interrupt the views. Though maybe not for the family and green pool villas which are further up the hillside. External noise was apparent during the day, due to the bathroom having mesh vents. It didn't disrupt our sleep at night.

Room was right on the road side which I didn’t expect and there was a lot of traffic noise at certain times of the day. I would not call it a resort as there were no grounds to walk in, nor a pool. Just a reception/ restaurant area.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Mooi resort met prachtig grote kamers. Groot terras met ligstoelen. Goed ontbijt inbegrepen. Hotel bied scooter verhuur aan wat een must is op deze locatie om je verplaatsen. Vriendelijk personeel.
Zicht op zee vanaf de kamer wordt belemmerd door een massa elektrische draden. Bereiken van de kamers is enkel via steile helling.

Frühstück ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig. Aber das ist in Thailand meist so.

On site restaurant offers probably one of the best Thai meals we had during our trip. We ate there 4 times although usually we like to explore and change but this was hard to beat.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Mir hat die ganze Anlage sehr gut gefallen (ist halt nicht direkt am Meer, aber sonst passt alles!!!!!) Es ist genial einen eignen Pool zu haben. Der ist übrigens sehr groß und sehr sauber!!!!!! super Das Essen war sehr gut! Und die Umgebung OK. Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.
Einziger Nachteil: Es gibt einen neuen Besitzer in der kleinen Bar an der Straße. Dieser lässt den ganzen Tag eine überaus gräßliche Musik spielen und das sehr laut!!!!!!! Wer Ruhe haben möchte hat es dann von "sehr schwer" bis "unmöglich zum aushalten". Ich finde der Besitzer vom Koh Yao Yai Hillside Resort muss sich da dringend etwas einfallen lassen. Denn auch einige Gäste, die schon Jahre lang kommen (den Lärm-Fuzzi gibt es erst seit heuer) sind entsetzt. Man würde gerne wieder kommen, wenn das Lärmproblem gelöst ist!!!!!!!!

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Personeel was ontzettend behulpzaam met het regelen van bepaalde dingen voor je. Het privezwembad is echt een aanrader met heerlijk uitzicht op zee. Locatie was top, er zit een goed restaurant bij het hotel met grote variatie tussen Thais en Westers eten. Daarnaast zit er aan de overkant van de straat ook nog een leuke plek aan het strand om te eten. Daarnaast is scooter rijden op het eiland heel erg makkelijk (zelfs met weinig ervaring). Het hele eiland is makkelijk te bereiken. De kamer zelf was erg ruim en de badkamer heel netjes en ruim, bad niet gebruikt. Maar zag er goed uit.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026The staff throughout the entire property were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and helpful at all times. Everyone greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel truly cared for during our stay. Another great convenience was the possibility to rent two scooters directly at the hotel. The scooters were ready on-site and could easily be returned at the hotel as well, which made exploring the island very simple and stress-free. The rooms are very modern and thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail. The bathroom is outstanding and truly special. We felt very comfortable in the room at all times – it always smelled fresh and pleasant. Bed linen and towels were changed daily, which we really appreciated. The bed was really nice! A special mention goes to the staff member who personally took care of sending back a jacket we forgot during our transfer. She organized a private transfer to return it to us and was always reachable via WhatsApp. She also handled our laundry, which we could drop off at the hotel and received back freshly washed the next day. This level of personal service was exceptional.
We did not fully consider that we had booked a bungalow without a private pool, which we would not recommend. Due to the high temperatures on Koh Yao Yai and the strong tides on the island, we were quite dependent on the tide schedule to be able to cool off in the sea. This limited our flexibility and slightly reduced our overall comfort. This was not the hotel’s fault, but it did have a noticeable impact on our stay.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Swietne miejsce! Domek super komfortowy. Przestronny- duży salon, duża łazienka. codziennie świeża woda, reczniki, kawa. Dobrze działająca klimatyzacja. Super czysty basen- tylko dla tego domku. Bardzo polecam!

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Good location , villa was big with too separate rooms and private swimming pool, in front of the hotel there is a very good restaurant “Seaside restaurant “ breakfast with a nice view
Bed and pillows were not very comfortable but it’s very subjective, breakfast - good for that price
