It was well designed with everything you need for a mini break. Lovely quiet bush surroundings so very peaceful.

Modern, well designed for it's size. All garden area is nice natives and gives you privacy, deck and hammocks are great, very clean, very comfy bed, very quiet and close to all the shops and restaurants in Oneroa.

Could do with some drawers near the bed for clothes. The cabins appear to have just corner piles so when you walk around the floor shakes. A lamp above the desk would be good.

Close to everything and used the stairs as a fitness circuit

Very comfortable and well laid out accommodation with everything we needed. Spacious, quiet, private and a welcome retreat from busy days and nights on the island.

The property was so beautiful. It has everything you need from kitchenware to the bathroom. Long walk upstairs but it was a good exercise. Lovely place

Lighting on the stairs poor …. None very difficult at night ….. carrying bags up to the room, hard. Not sure about parking car options. Room 4 top of the property, good for younger fit people.

Such an easy check-in, good location and the cabin? Well thought and executed. Definitely booking again if coming back in the area!

If you have struggles with stairs, this may not be the best place for you. We had the last cabin up, and while we loved it, can see that it can be a bit of a hike for others.

Convenient location and quiet

The cabins were stylish, modern, well designed and kitted out - very comfortable for all of us, including the 6-footer who slept on the trundler bed. We all liked the place itself, and being able to store our bags in lockers after checking out.

I had so many messages from/via Booking.com in the lead-up to our stay that it was confusing to know what was current information - most relevant when the lock box numbers for the key to our cabin were changed in later messages (I of course had grabbed the first infromation we were sent on this, so I had the wrong numbers when we needed to check in - at speed ahead of an booked activity elsewhere). My recommendation: please go a bit easier on the messages, and keep the information consistent please.

Gorgeous and cozy with everything you need

It was quiet and secluded and we loved the cabin.

Nothing except being therein winter we were reluctant to go out after dark.

An awesome secluded private bush setting cabin. Lovely decor, fresh and clean. Bed was comfortable. Everything you need for a getaway. Only suited for the fit with so many steps up to the cabin. Close to town with an uphill wal. You can find everything you need in Oneroa township.

Such an adorable cabin. Well located for those without a car- walking distance from ferry, and Oneroa Village/Beach, as well as two wineries. Extremely well designed, fully equipped kitchen. Host was very clear on all instructions and quick to reply. We had cabin 1, which was closest to the road and was happy because we didn’t have to climb as many stairs.

Only 2 small notes: Would have been nice to have some paper towels or napkins for dining; and while I know tap water in NZ is acceptable, would have been nice to have 1 or 2 bottles of water in fridge.

Lovely stay! The accommodation was super clean and had all you need! Would stay here again 100%. Perfect locations, just loved it.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but there are 50 stairs to get to your room! but well worth it!!!

The stairs were a bit of a killer. Good to get steps in though.

It was very close to the shops and cafe at Oneroa, and the ferry wasn’t too far, although the walk was very hilly, I don’t recommend walking unless you are fit. The landscape was beautiful and it was quiet. The cabins were beautiful and comfortable. It was easy check in process.

Although I knew there were a lot of stairs, they were very difficult to navigate because they were all different sizes, it makes it very difficult to navigate with luggage. I was in the top cabin and after the stairs there was a very steep ramp to get to the cabin, and another steep ramp up the drive to the bins. Checking out when you also have to take out your rubbish makes it a lot of hard work at the end of a trip. It took a good 45 minutes to get bags out and down the stairs along with rubbish unless you tried to do it in one trip, which is quite dangerous given how steep the ramp and stairs are. I would only recommend if you had one small bag with you.. I had 2 bags and large suitcase and a carry on and handbag. The storage lockers were too small for my bags and were at the top of the steep driveway, in the end I didn’t use them, I just couldn’t drag my bag up the driveway. I’m a moderately fit person and I did struggle. Moving luggage around the property is definitely a 2 person job.

A magical stay in Waiheke, I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanted to explore the island. Beautiful and secluded, incredible facilities, very clean and had everything we needed. We could walk into Oneroa shops very easily and had a restful stay when we returned.

Note that there are stairs leading up to your room. It wasn't a problem for us.

Convenient location midway between ferry terminal and Oneroa. Simple and comfortable well designed accommodation. Peaceful and secluded.

It is important for potential visitors to be aware that there is a steep climb to all the cabins. We knew that but it would not suit people with mobility issues.

The cottages are located very close to Oneroa village. It took less than ten minutes to walk there. If you are staying in cabin 4 there is a steep path up to the cabin which may be a challenge for older people with mobility issues, but the bonus is that the cottage is very private.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabins are compact but have everything you need and are very well presented.

There are quite a few steps to get up off the road but we'll worth it for the peace and quiet and nature view.

This is our second time staying in the cabins. They are within walking distance of the ferry terminal and Oneroa - the cabins are peaceful, well equipped and comfortable

Wonderful stay. The cabin was really well designed with everything you needed and nothing you didn’t. The location is great, just up from the ferry and walkable to restaurants in Oneroa. I would recommend leaving your big suitcases in Auckland so you can walk up easily in 15 mins from the ferry. Loved sitting out on the terrace in the mornings enjoying nature.

Gorgeous cabins in a very convenient location.

Just wish there was a bit more shade on the balcony maybe with potted plants. Only thing that would make it epic is if in the future is had a tiny plunge pool! But that's just a wish rather than a need.

Very private and romantic getaway. Would highly recommend if visiting the island.

The One O One cabins were awesome. So convenient from the fullers ferry, the cabins were so clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We loved our stay.

Tucked in the bush and close to ferry and village so ideal for first timers to Waiheke.

No access to washing machine, even shared would be good. Towel swap would be good for a 4 day stay although we prob could have asked.

Loved the property. Very comfortable little cabin with everything we needed for our three night stay. Close to the ferry and town that has everything you need. Good restaurants, groceries, bars and facilities. Everything about one o one was great. We really enjoyed our visit.

There are a lot of stairs up to cabins so if you have mobility problems you might want to reconsider.

No exhaust fan in kitchen so smoke alarm kept going off, minimal storage space for clothes, road noise.

The units are great but it's a steep section with steps, we were fine, but I would imagine it would be difficult for some.

Easy walk to town

The road noise. As we were the closet unit to the road which was the main road down to the ferry terminal it was quite busy early in the morning , through the day and in the evening. Not much you can do about it though.

Amount of stairs to the property

Perfect location…short walk to Onaroa township…clean…simple…functional…wonderful hosts (Merilee, Ludmila, Simon and Willie)…they were quick to respond to a small issue we had…the porch hammocks are a nice touch…kitchenette is small but capable…close to the road but not much noise, especially after dark

Tough walk up the driveway and steps up to the cottages (the Bookjing.Com photos show just the ramp of the walkway and not the 49 steps)…4 cottages but only space for 2 cars (didn’t pose any issues for us as we were able to get one of the two reserved spots)…great to have locker space at the top of the driveway so you don’t have to carry heavier unnecessary items up the hill)

Location to ferry and downtown. Well appointed apt. Although close to freeway did not affect us with noise however we did not have windows open

Need to have more kitchen towels & sponges vs. just one towel and a dirty sponge as they require us to wash our dishes. Better instructions on the turn on/off switches. The 45 steps up to apt as they were different sizes made it harder. The fact we paid for housekeeping but 1) had to wash our dishes and 2) had to empty garbage

Loved standalone units which have been beautifully presented. Nice and close to Oneroa, 5min wander up for breaky and not far to beach. Handy to ferry, just over 1km and could easily walk. Beautiful setting. Thank you for having us

Just a couple of small things but more for future to improve even better. Felt a little exposed when people walked up path, would be good.to have a wee hedge screening path maybe. Beautiful native bush around which was lovely with bird life. Needs a bit of a clear out of pest trees, pampa grass which is starting to take over.

Well designed good modern cabin with good facilities and a comfortable bed. Lovely covered deck looking out to greenery. Walking distance from Oneroa village art gallery, cinema etc and bush walks. Bus stop 5 mins away.Frindly proprietor.

The 49 steps up to the cabin. Great for people younger than me but challenging to a couple in their 70s with a lot luggage planning to self cater.
