Tolle Unterkunft im Baumhaus. Super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Ausflüge und den Transport zur nächsten Stadt wurden für uns organisiert. Gutes Frühstück mit jeder Menge frischen Obst und Brot. Das Grundstück liegt direkt in der Natur, Affen und ein süßes Palmhörnchen waren stetige Begleiter und auch der Pool war super zur Abkühlung und zum Schwimmen. Wer nicht den Luxus sondern eine schöne exklusive Unterkunft in der Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

The property is beautiful, surrounded by trees and wildlife. We stayed in the two story deluxe room and it was amazing! The staff are the most helpful and friendly people you will meet, so welcoming and happy to help with anything you need while you stay in Sigiriya!

Casa en árbol con mucho encanto en una zona medio selvática. Entorno muy bonito y natural. Rodeado de vegetación y fauna. Muy bien ambientada, no le falta detalle y bastante limpia. El dueño muy atento y solícito.

Quizás al agua de la ducha le falta algo de presión. Por otro lado, nos pareció que le faltaba algo más de luz dentro.

Tolle Location, mitten im Wald! Alle Häuschen sind individuell gestaltet und super sauber! Wir hatten ein tolles Outdoor Badezimmer mit Blick in den Wald! Der Pool war groß und sauber, es gab einen günstigen Roller Verleih und der Gastgeber Guna hat uns mit jede Menge Tipps versorgt!

We loved our stay at this lodge - the warmest welcome and a very comfortable room with gorgeous outside shower (but protected from the monkeys). The pool is fantastic and the owner Guna went over and beyond to do what he could to make sure we had everything we needed from providing water, ginger beer, rides to Sigiriya at 4.30 a.m., arranging our laundry and many more things he offered. We felt so well looked after. We saw some gorgeous birds around the lodge to increase our Sri Lanka bird count. Guna is a wildlife lover, providing bird baths and he feeds a giant squirrel and her young who come up very close. Local Tuk Tuk drivers and Guna were keen to take us to the door after dark each day as the road is used by elephants at night. We loved all the jungle sounds! The tiniest note was that breakfast was quite sugary with sweet pancakes, other cakes, sweet yoghurt and sweetened fruit juice. The eggs were lovely though. Altogether highly recommended!

Sehr coole Unterkunft! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, Toast, Eiern und Joghurt ist inkludiert. Aktivitäten können ebenfalls vom Betreiber organisiert werden. Das Pool ist auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Sehr freundliches Personal

Einzige kleine Kritikpunkte sind dass das WLAN es nicht bis zu unsere Hütte geschafft hat und dass es in der Nacht teilweise durch diverse Tiere etwas laut war (aber auf das muss man sich einstellen)

Lotus Eco Villa è una struttura immersa nella natura, circondata da alberi di jackfruit e piante di ogni tipo. La camera era accogliente, pulita e disponeva di tutto il necessario. Il patio con l'amaca una vera chicca! Per non parlare della piscina e della doccia all'aperto, per dei momenti di puro relax. Colazione super ricca: frutta, pane tostato, marmellata, uova e yogurt! Il nostro host ci ha anche deliziato con un buonissimo chicken fried rice. Prima di andare via, ci ha anche omaggiato di un carinissimo regalo in ricordo di Sigiriya!

Being one with nature. In the tree canopy..... lots of critters, creatures, monkeys and birds... a great experience.. Also Guna's fantastic food and traditional Sri Lankan feast was delicious 😋

Personeel was erg aardig en hielp met alles. Ze hebben ook een lekker ontbijt en bieden veel excursies. Wij hebben deze niet bij hun geboekt en dat vonden ze ook helemaal prima!

Er zaten wat kijkers in de buiten badkamer… maarja dat hoort erbij bij een buitenbadkamer. Ook zou het fijn zijn als er een klamboe is, deze is er nu niet maar er zijn wel wat beestjes die binnen kunnen komen…

Quiet and off the main road, very friendly staff, helped us organise many activities through local people saving us money. Very organised, great room, breakfast and pool. We even saw some toucans and squirrels at the property.

It was too far to walk to Sigiriya town in the heat, but there were cheap local tuk tuks always available.

The lovely lodge in the jungle surrounded by wildlife. My children loved all the animals wild and tame. The friendly cats and squirrel. They spotted frogs, geckos, a mongoose, monkeys and grey hornbills. The pool was fantastic to cool off and chill after a morning on safari or visiting cultural sites. There is so much to do and see in the area! All the staff are very kind and friendly, they will help you with organising tours, doing laundry and making a meal but never pushy. They were keen to show and teach the children about the visiting wildlife. We would highly recommend this as a stay for families visiting the area.

It is a little bit far from restaurants, only 2 within walking distance but it’s a cheap and easy tuk tuk ride to reach more eateries. The children also enjoyed riding in the tuk tuks.

Abbiamo alloggiato nella casa sull’albero che è il punto di forza della struttura. Bellissima e particolare. C’è una piscina da poter utilizzare e noi abbiamo anche cenato. Il proprietario cucina un solo piatto che vi dirà nel pomeriggio. Vicino ai punti di interesse. Attenzione perché si paga in contanti in moneta locale.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön in der Natur gelegen. Man hatte einen tollen Pool und konnte ein paar Tiere entdecken (bspw. Rieseneichhörnchen).

Es war alles perfekt! In die Stadt Sigiriya benötigt man einen Tuktuk-Fahrer. Das kann aber alles vor Ort organisiert werden!

Das Baumhaus war toll, der Gastgeber hat alles für uns organisiert und geregelt. Super Frühstück :) Sehr saubere Anlage und sauberer Pool!

Entravano un po’ di moscerini e la doccia allagava tutto

Host war sehr freundlich und gab gute Tipps. Jeder Zeit erreichbar auch über Whats App. Organisation war gut. Unterkunft liegt ein bisschen abseits der Hauptstrasse und eher versteckt. Schöne Atmosphäre. Es waren alle Sehenswürdigkeiten mit Tuktuk machbar. Das Frühstück war mit Herzblut zubereitet und sehr fein. Zum Abschied gab uns der Host ein kleines Geschenk als Erinnerung für den Aufenthalt (siehe Foto 2).

The property felt like an oasis, and had a relaxing energy to it. The rooms were well-kept and air conditioned. The pool was refreshing and great to swim in after being out all day. The property host (Guna) offers assistance with transport, advice and popular activities, ensuring property organisation and fair prices. The wildlife is beautiful and you will see beautiful birds such as kingfishers and hornbills.

As a taller person, my partner bumped his head quite regularly on the door to the bathroom, as it is less than 6 ft high. We stayed in the room closest to the entrance. It would be helpful to have a sign above the door on each side saying “mind head.” This is constructive feedback for the benefit of this amazing villa.

Très bon emplacement, magnifique résidence entourée de verdure, d’une somptueuse piscine et de très belles petites maisons. Nous nous y sommes sentis très bien. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et le gérant de l’hôtel était serviable et très gentil.

Nous avons regretté d’avoir fait le safari le matin sur les conseils du gérant de l’hôtel, car nous avons vu très peu d’éléphants. Toutes les autres personnes que nous avons rencontrées nous ont dit que c’était l’après midi qu’il fallait y aller.

Tolles Frühstück mit frischem Obstteller, Joghurt, Muffin, Ei, Toast und Marmelade. Der sehr freundliche Gastgeber ist eigentlich Koch und hat abends ein sehr leckeres authentisches Curry zubereitet. Die Gästehäuser sind alle individuell im Garten verstreut , gemütlich und sehr sauber. Die AC funktioniert super! Der saubere Pool im Garten lädt zum Entspannen (und Gesprächen mit anderen Gästen ;-) ) ein. Affen turnen durch die Bäume Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!!!

Der Hauptteil des Ortes ist eher nicht zu Fuß erreichbar, aber mit Fahrer oder tuktuk gar kein Problem und nicht weit. Ansich tolle ruhige Lage im Wald!

Die Natur und die gesamte Anlage, klein und familiär. Herrlich zum runterkommen. Wir hatten eine super schöne persönliche Reisebegleitung durch den Inhaber, er hat uns sehr gute Tioos gegeben und uns am letzten Abend bekocht, es war super lecker.

De familiesuite kan wat TLC gebruiken, de airco kon de hitte bovenaan niet helemaal de baas maar de locatie, middenin de jungle was bijzonder en de gastheer was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Tout était parfait, le logement est dépaysant au milieu de la végétation. Le gérant est aux petits soins : réservation de tuktuk, réservation des activités, cuisine sur place… Nous y retournerons les yeux fermés !

Le cadre était très agréable, en pleine nature et peu de vis à vis avec les autres lodge. Le personnel était très sympathique et prêt à aider.

We boekten de boomhut en villa met uitzicht op de tuin. De boomhut viel mee maar kon toch ook wat opknapwerk gebruiken. wat ons het meest tegenviel was de "villa" (deze naam verre van waard) ..eens de deur openging overviel je een muffe geur ...stukken van de muur, laken met gaten erin...toen we dit aankaarten bij de eigenaar werd hij heel defensief en stelde zelf voor dat we mochten opkrassen ...de sri lankanen zijn supervriendelijk maar deze paste voor ons niet in het rijtje..uiteindelijk bereikten we een compromis en konden we gelukkig verhuizen naar de familievilla die wel aangenaam en hygiënisch was. We zouden dit hotel niet aanraden.

La habitación cuenta con aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo. El baño y la ducha se encuentran en un espacio cerrado pero con el techo abierto donde puedes ducharte a cielo abierto.

No hubo mosquitera, y en caso de viento los arboles hacen ruido al golpear el tejado de la cabaña.

We enjoyed the area, it is well maintained and the staff takes care of the surrounding. You can hear monkeys around, birds chirping and you can relax by the pool. The breakfast is very simple but fine for Sri Lanka’s standard. The dinner was very delicious. The owner takes care and arranges the transportation if needed

It might be loud in the night as we experienced some parties in the neighbourhood

The property is located in a great spot off the road, so is very peaceful. It is a short walk to some local shops if you need any supplies, however the manager is always on hand to supply water and source meals. Tuk tuks are easily arranged if you want to travel to the restaurant strip in the village. The owner is so helpful!!! The consistent positive reviews about him are partly why we booked this lodge in the first place. He went above and beyond to book in all our tours and make sure our stay was memorable. Would recommend the safari as we saw a lot of wildlife including getting very close to some elephants - but we may have just been lucky? The walks are great and a tour of Lion Rock is a must.

Nothing to fault for the price and everything was as expected.

The location is really good, shot walk to the town. Beautiful gardens. Houses are amazing and all very cosy. Huge pool area and very good breakfast. The host Guna was very kind and welcoming and the property has two very relaxed, cute and friendly cats to keep you company.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein verstecktes Paradies. Guna ist sehr hilfsbereit und ein guter Gastgeber. Er hilft gerne bei der Organisation von Ausflügen, Taxis, etc. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, sauber und hatte eine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück ist lecker und wird liebevoll zubereitet.

We had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax. A special thank you to Guna, who is an incredibly kind and helpful host. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay and was always happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—the best breakfast we had during our entire trip around Sri Lanka! Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Thank you, Guna, for your exceptional hospitality. We would love to come back one day !

The owner was absolutely wonderful, he was incredibly attentive and even drove me to the hospital when I had good poisoning. He also upgraded us to the treehouse for free without us even asking because there was some construction going on around the villa we were meant to be staying in and he didn't want us being disturbed. Overall a 10/10 experience and the owner was so incredibly attentive and willing to help.

Beds weren't the most comfy but I was also bed ridden for 2 days so any bed after 2 days gets a bit uncomfy.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa. L’endroit est très confortable, au calme, avec une belle piscine. Le propriétaire est d’une grande gentillesse et un véritable amoureux de la nature. Alors que nous profitions de la piscine, il nous a appelés pour nous montrer un écureuil géant du Sri Lanka qu’il nourrissait à la mangue… visiblement, il ne voulait pas de la papaye ! Un très joli moment. Ses explications pour prendre le bus le lendemain étaient également très claires et nous ont été très utiles. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

We really enjoyed our stay in Lotus eco village. The owner was really welcoming and friendly, always willing to help. The place is great to relax after a day of visiting around. We would certainly go back if we have the chance.

There is room for improvement in the food. Breakfast was the same every day. Fruit, toasts, eggs, yogurt & pitus. We had dinner once, and the food was too simple, OK and affordable, but nothing to delight. Fortunately, we found a few excellent family restaurants in the area at walking distance (check Google).

We loved the rural location and the wonderful host, Gunasiri. The family cabin was clean and cosy. The pool was pristine clean. Gunasiri provided a great breakfast in a relaxed casual setting. We would happily recommend Lotus Eco for those people wanting to experience more of the local rural setting with friendly and helpful host.

We stayed in the tree house. It is starting to need some work but it’s still so funky and comfortable. The pool is a great addition too. Lots of restaurants around to eat. The owner is so nice. We asked for extra blankets and he came up straight away and chatted with us. Thanks for having us.

El trato del dueño, es muy cercano. Ayuda en todo, busca excursiones, y es una persona espectacular. El desayuno está riquísimo. La piscina también está muy bien. La ubicación tiene un acceso complicado pero merece la pena sin duda, está rodeada de naturaleza.

Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt und man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber. Er war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Egal worum es ging, er hat sich sofort darum gekümmert und uns bei allem unterstützt. Man merkt, dass ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir haben uns jederzeit willkommen gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We stayed in the tree house and it was very cool!!! The pool is lovely - very relaxing. The owner kindly organised our drop offs to do the sunrise walk at Pidurangula Rock which we highly recommend. He was very kind and made us a lovely breakfast each morning :)

Sehr netter Gastgeber. Es war sehr familiär und man konnte alles fragen. Für den Preis ein super Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist auch gut. Man kann zu Fuß in das Dorf gehen zu den Restaurants oder mit dem Tuktuk nach Dambulla oder sigirya fahren. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und erfrischend.

Im Baumhaus sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass der ein oder andere Käfer oder Kakerlake sich verirrt. Einmal hatten wir ein Viech an der Decke kleben aber der Vermieter hat es gleich weggemacht.

Hebergement dédié aux amoureux de la nature! Nous avons été bien accueilli, petit-déjeuner copieux (petits plus: le yaourt et le cake). Nous avons bien profité de la piscine qui est très bien entretenue. Et quel bonheur de se douchee dehors! Je recommande à 100%.

This was a lovely stay in an absolutely quiet area outside of Sigiriya. We thought we were the only guests until we suddenly found people at breakfast. Though a bit outside of town, the owner is helpful to arrange tuktuks. Everything was clean & the outdoor shower was a fun nature touch. Breakfast was simple but perfect & filling after an early morning hike.

The host was very helpful and offered to organise excursions and transport. He was flexible with breakfast times and informed us around safety measures with the wild elephants. The pool was nice also. Breakfast was nice and included fresh fruit and extra yoghurt when the host noticed we liked it. This was a nice touch.

The room was dusty and felt as if no one had been in it for months. It had quite a musty smell to it. There were lots of cracks in the windows and doors so lots of bugs got in. On our first night the air con did not work and kept turning off so we had to move rooms.

The host was super friendly and accommodating, he offered us dinner and organised trips for us, even driving us himself. It's a gorgeous property in the middle of the jungle with squirrels, beautiful birds and other wildlife, it's obviously been designed with nature in mind. There's also a nice pool. For breakfast, we got lovely feuit plates, coffee or tea, eggs, toast...

Beautiful peaceful surroundings and Guna, the owner was very accommodating. We are vegan and he adapted the breakfast daily with lots to choose from. The evening meals were always delicious. Our daughter loved the pool, which was always clean. We would definitely return.
