The pool, my daughter loved the lil dog, the cook was superb. The property was in a good location (cannot wait for the roads to be fixed post hurricane Mellissa). Communicating with the host and owner was very easy. Would defoe stay again.

The gate wasnt working so we needed to get out and manually open one side of it, weathet wasnt the best so often got wet doing this.

The garden was beautifully maintained.

We were staying in bedroom #4 as the tv was not working in the other double bedroom. As it turned out it didn’t work properly in our bedroom either. The room was dark and dingy. The nets have not been washed in a very long ! The ceiling covering is coming away and damp due to water coming in at some time. The bed, two single beds pushed together was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. My husband had to fix the handle on the toilet as it was loose and fell off in his hand ! Dark brown towels in the bathroom very unappealing. The kitchen counter tops were grimy and grease on the kitchen doors. We had to clean sections of the counter top to be able use it. The furniture looked dated. The appearance of artificial flowers dusty and old in the living area very unattractive. The boarded front door also added to the dreariness of the living room everywhere is dark. No cleaner came in for the 7 days we were there. The property could do with a deep clean throughout as well as building maintenance to come in and sort out the structural issues including dripping taps. The property is far from the main road and shopping area thus very expensive having to use taxis $3000 jmd = $19 US just to pop out to get a bit of shopping. I thought I had booked an up market property and the price I paid to my mind should have reflected that instead it is more of a back packers hostel.

Some amenities wasn't working, but was able to take care of them in a timely manner
