I liked the friendly staff and the central location.

The facilities are dated and there wasn't much options for breakfast.

The location as right on the coast, close to family and friends and local amenities. It was quiet and not busy and over crowded. There was a pool and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room with the sea view was great, so close could even listen to the waves.

The kitchen was locked off and not available. The decoration inside and out was a bit tired.

Need more activities, Buffet should be offered at a certain time frame, Bar Needs to Reopen ASAP !

They brought up the breakfast and they didn't take long to open the gate

The shower and the shower curtains needs to change and the sign on the road can't been seen when coming from kingston side down

Great facility, but lacks the accommodations that most guests would desire. It has a great ocean presence. The property has the overall infrastructure for a fun and relaxing stay.

They need more specific information on how to find them from the main road. No facilities for food and beverages

There was NOTHING I liked about the resort. Nothing.

This property was in such poor condition, it should not be open. No water pressure in the rooms, most outlets didn't work, phone didn't work. Not clean. After some convincing, I was eventually able to switch to a room that had water pressure but the new room had not hot water. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else.

Breakfast was delish. You will need to let the stafff know of and specific meals, or just enjoy the traditional Jamaican cuisine like we did.

Construction nearby may bother you if you stayed on property all day, we didn’t. This is a temporary issue.

When we arrived at about 6pm there was no staff at the hotel for check in, not even a security guard. We found 2 envelopes with our names on them at the security post containing room keys and we let ourselves in. Later in the evening the security guard turned up. We explained that we were going off the property for a short while. On our return, the guard again had gone missing and we again had to let ourselves back into the hotel. The TV didn't work. There was no microwave. There was a small coffee machine but no coffee. The flies at breakfast were like a plague! Overall a horrible experience. Pipers Cove has gone downhill fast and doesn't deserve even one star...

Terrible, smelly room it was a good thing I view before paying. Should not be renting but renovating.

My Parents enjoy their stay so much.

The kitchenette didn't have much utensils to prepare your meals, but they figured it out tho.

The location is central and easy to find.

I didn’t like the fact that the pictures on booking.com does not match up to the actually view of the resort. The pool area was dark at night and construction work is being done next to it. The pool was dirty and needs cleaning. There was no beach area to take a swim either just rocks. Bed comforter and large pillows was dirty. Overall the room needs a good house keeper to clean the place properly and make it spotless.

The pool was open for a short time during my stay and when I used it, it hadn’t been cleaned, then it closed as they begun renovations. Hopefully next time it will be better

Breakfast was very good there was only 2 small bottles of water 1 small bag coffee y having a small fridge and not even water in it smh that's poor i expected to go into a pool only to get there and hear it close some of the plugs wasn't working

I really liked the staff. They were absolutely the best. The apartment exceeded my expectations.

I blame booking.com for once again pitting me in a place surrounded by construction. It's a nite mare.

The grounds were impeccably kept. The tranquility and security of the place give a peace of mind. Tho there are upgrades taking place it did not affect my time there.

Sad the pool was under renovation but look forward to returning when it's back up and running.

We were the only ones there. The place should not have been open to the public, it was under construction. I didn’t feel safe at all. It looked worn down and abandoned.

Location and beautiful grounds

There was no breakfast to buy, day 1 they say the chef was off , I went down to the area , renovations all over.. day 2 the same.. should have been told no breakfast until renovation is completed as I was told about the pool being closed

The experience was enjoyable, and the food was exceptional. Please note that all orders must be placed in advance, as there is no on-site dining area; however, the food is prepared here. Currently, renovations are underway, and we look forward to the potential addition of a sit-down restaurant in the future.

Some infrastructure needs to be updated.

The property is secured, very quiet and is in a great location with easy access to shops, etc.

The resort is absolutely boring. No music, no entertainment (not even on the weekends) and the beach is not easy to access. The staff is very unfriendly. I would not stay there again. I do not recommend it.

The property is in a central location close to popular and reasonable food spots. I liked the layout of the property overall. The Jamaican hot breakfast was wonderful.

The staff overall were pleasant. My group had 16 persons and we ordered 4 rooms which were all over the property although I specifically requested rooms to be near to each other.

The location of the property is quite good, with a pool of clean appearance and a beach area. The room was fairly well put together with a kitchenette. Staff including the manager, were broadly helpful and welcoming.

We didn't quite get the type of room requested, nor did we get the ground floor (one guest is senior). But, that may have been due going via a booking website, with probable delay in getting requests to the resort. A few minor quirks could be / were sorted.

Breakfast was tasty and well prepared, however had to pay separately for tea, coffee and juice at US3.00 each.

The shower didn't work and the water didn't drain properly.

What I liked most about this property was the staff that worked there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful in their own way. The manager of the property was so welcoming and made sure to make me feel at home. It was a great location to excursions and next door to an all inclusive resort if you needed to have a lil fun for a fee. I stayed in the apartment room with ocean views and it was enough space to fit 2 more people. The property was not busy but just enough guests to not feel overcrowded. If you book transportation at the airport, (I used Jamaican Tours) to book a round trip from the airport and back to the airport, they will stop at pipers cover since it’s next door to Jewel Paradise Resort BUT! they will also pick other guests up at other resorts please be mindful of your travel times. It takes about an hour to get to & from the airport without stopping with stopping is about 1hr & 30min - 2hrs.

My only concern with the property was the look, it was very outdated but very spacious, if you have a big family and want to save on cost. Pipers cove is definitely budget friendly. The pictures that are posted on booking.com is exactly how it looks but it was clean. This property has potential if it can get a remodel. Lastly would be the food situation, you have to put in your order ahead of time for it to be cooked & delivered to you a day ahead. Bring snacks & food that can be microwavable. The chef is someone who is a Jamaican native so it’ll be the real authentic cuisine. The menu was different every day. For me, It was an inconvenience since things were in place for my vacation and having to find food or get food prior to any excursions was too stressful. The property should have at least free breakfast as an option since some local restaurants aren’t open early in the morning that are along the strip which is about a 5-10min walk depending how far down you go. There are also no elevators but only two floors to climb up, not too bad but you can request to have a room downstairs if available.

Breakfast was not offer. However, the drink bar was very convenient. It provided a variety of drinks, including fresh juices. The location was central to the local surroundings: public transportation, food markets, public beach, bars and authentic cuisine.
