Kurumba Villas

Las instalaciones son muy bonitas y todo está muy cuidado. Las camas muy cómodas y el baño espectacular. El personal muy atento.

Reservamos dos habitaciones y en una de ellas había cucarachas, encontramos 5 y muy grandes. Avisamos a la propietaria y nos comentó que debieron entrar por la ventana mientras limpiaban. No es así, tienen un problema con estos insectos y deberían controlar las plaga.

Eigenlijk alles was perfect. De accommodatie zelf was ruim, mooi ingericht met een moderne douche en toilet en warm water. De locatie was top, overal dichtbij en het zwembad heerlijk om even te ontspannen. Massage geboekt gewoon op t zelfde terrein. Heerlijke locatie om even bij te komen een aantal dagen. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zeker een aanrader.

Zwembad en de zeer ruime kamer met prachtige douche. Het was dus wel zo’n grote kamer, geen idee hoe de kleinere kamers eruit zien

Ze hebben geen restaurant waar je kan dineren (alleen ontbijt) dus je moet eruit voor een diner. Dat kan alleen via een zeer drukke weg.

The villa was exactly as the photos depicted. We were the only occupants of one of the five villas on the property. Beautiful pool and gardens which are both well tendered. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cooked to order breakfast on both days of our stay. Very comfortable and quiet surroundings.

Alojamiento 5 estrellas! Las villas son muy grandes, espaciosas, modernas y con un diseño muy bonito. El baño tiene un encanto especial. La zona común, jardín y piscina espectacular. Todo cuidado al detalle, limpio y arreglado. Mucho mejor al natural que en las fotos. Ha superado nuestras expectativas. El personal muy amable y atento. Desayuno bien. No hacen cenas pero tienen contacto con un restaurante cercano y te lo traen a la villa. Sitio ideal para disfrutar de unos días de relax.

This villa is a beautiful getaway super close to town! Such a hidden gem. The rooms are spacious, the pool is lovely and the food was delicious. The staff in particular at Kurumba are so kind and accommodating, which was the highlight of our stay!

Wir waren zum 3. Mal in Kurumba Villas und unser Aufenthalt war so angenehm und erholsam wie auch bei den vorherigen Malen dort. Die Mitarbeiter sind zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt, der Pool wird täglich gereinigt und es gibt Sonnenliegen, Handtücher und Schirme. Der Strand und die Restaurants befinden sich in der Nähe und sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Der gepflegte Garten ist eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung, auch für Tiere und Vögel. Der Strand in Bentota ist sehr weitläufig, so dass lange Spaziergänge mit menschenleeren Abschnitten möglich sind, die uns persönlich sehr gefallen.

we loved the pool area in the villa, the gardens are well take care of, the lady owner is very nice and helpful, and the rest of stuff is always ready to help with anything. Delicious breakfast were served outside in the garden with a swimming pool view. We got two villas for our family of five, one of it was chalet and another one superior chalet which was super spacious with beautiful shower room, Villas were extremely clean and comfortable,

although walking to the beach did not took long time: less than 10 minutes, part of it you have to walk alongside very busy and loud road.

Kurumba villas is a lovely place to stay Rekha the owner and her staff are delightful. Colourful and spacious bungalows set in a lovely garden with one of the cleanest pools ever. A pleasant breakfast on the terrace with garden view is a lovely stay to the day. We would recommend 👌

The main reason is quite close

Lovely and clean. Lovely gardens. Everyone friendly and welcoming. Secluded and clean and very scenic and interesting. Very natural and wildlife all around.

6 individual chalets situated around a great sized swimming pool and lovely large and well manicured gardens. Also a pond with fish and frogs, overall a very relaxing atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Fresh tasty breakfast and well presented. Chalet was of a good size. Location good within 15mins walk to Aluthgama town or local buses to town or down the coast to Galle just outside the villas. Plenty of bars and restaurants close to villas, and 10 mins walk to Bentota railway where there are numerous bars and restaurants. Also close to beach where beach beds available for very reasonable price. Good value for money Would recommend.

Nous avons aimé notre séjour à cet établissement. Très grand et beau bungalow tout équipé. Lit confortable. Excellent wifi. Établissement très bien entretenu et propre. Bel aménagement extérieur et grande piscine. Bon déjeuner. La propriétaire et le personnel sont d’une tres grande gentillesse et très dévoués. Proche de la mer et plusieurs restaurants à proximité.

We loved it here, from the warm welcome at check in being greeted with a refreshing juice and cold towel, to the guys helping with luggage and the owner's restaurant recommendations, nothing was too much, they even organised an early check in for us. The chalet is set in large private gardens, with a pond and a communal pool, which was peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet, which was spacious, decorated and finished to a high standard with a private pool. The beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms had a duo cooling system of fans and air conditioning so temperatures were perfect. The rooms also had a fridge which was stocked with water, juice and fizzy pop. The breakfast is fabulous too, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, jam, pancakes, fresh fruit platter and tea or coffee - make sure you are hungry! We would definitely stay here again.

There's nothing to complain about, but our private pool only had one sunlounger but I'm sure if we'd have asked they'd have brought extra. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, this wasn't an issue as we were only there a couple of nights and we had plenty of extra towels in the chalet.

The villas were beautiful, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our visit. Everything was well organized .We had a great experience and would happily return again.

What a beautiful place. Set down a short driveway, off a busy main road, then it opens up into amazingly beautiful gardens in which are the villas. The hosts are so welcoming and the rooms are beautiful. It was about a 15min walk to a great beach and there are plenty of restaurants around. We had breakfast at the villas wich was really tasty. Would definitely recommend. Excellent place to stay. An oasis of calm.

I loved my stay at Kurumba Villas and would recommend! My chalet was large and clean, bed very comfortable, good hot shower. I enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the beautiful gardens that were so lush and tropical The staff were professional, attentive, friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful- cooked to order. Lots to see and do in Bentota - the beautiful beach, a river safari, the turtle sanctuary. It was the perfect start to my Sri Lanka holiday!

Toit était parfait, le jardin idyllique avec la piscine, un petit havre de paix pour se reposer tranquille.

my villa was beautiful and spacious, and the bathroom was unreal! the property itself is stunning, and kept so clean. the pool looks lovely (i didn't get a chance to swim in it as i only had a very short stay). breakfast was good - nice that it's made to order rather than lots of plates of food that get wasted.

Le décor avec un jardin magnifique, très bien. entretenu. Une piscine très grande et propre. La gentillesse et l' amabilité de l' ensemble du staff toujours dispo avec le sourire. Le petit déjeuner pris devant le jardin en toute quiétude. On s' y sent bien.

Wir waren für ein paar Tage dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Schöne komfortable Bungalows in einem traumhaften Garten mit Pool. Wir würden sehr gastfreundlich empfangen und das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Zum Strand sind es nur 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuß und es gibt viele Restaurants im Umkreis. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Jolie villa privée avec petit coin cuisine et terrasse dans un superbe jardin bien arboré . La piscine est grande avec des ballons pour jouer et des transats pour se reposer. Le personnel est au petit soin et n’hésitez pas à leur demander des reservations de tuk tuk ou la balade en bateau dans la mangrove . On a vu plein d’animaux et d’oiseaux. Un conseil y aller tôt le matin pour être plus tranquille. Nombreux restaurants alentours. Le supermarché Food City est a moins de 100m.

Super well keep garden, nice spacious villa with colorful design and comfortable beds. You get a sense of freshness and cool entering the property. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast.

It can be a bit noisy from the street if u get a villa close to the gate. We got used to it but needed to adjust a bit for the first night. Note also that a gas station is close by.

Beautiful little oasis surrounded by nature on the outskirts of town. Room was large, very clean and looked exactly like the photos. Staff were excellent and always available. Breakfast was delicious. Very comfy bed and hot shower.

Un peu distant de la superbe plage de Bentota. Pas vraiment un handicap: en tuk-tuk, c'est très rapide

Acho que só faltou a rede mosquiteira na cama e as aulas de yoga, que são promovidas no site mas que não existem, só por marcação fora do alojamento.

Geweldige mooie plek met een fantastische villa. Wij hadden 3-persoons. Heel groot, goed onderhouden. Super vriendelijk personeel. Fijn zwembad.

Het enige is dat het aan een drukke weg ligt en dat er veel herrie van die weg komt. Oordoppen zijn geen overbodige luxe. Voor de rest is het top!

Firstly the staff were incredibly friendly. The owner Reka runs the place with precision. Everything rooms, garden, swimming pool are maintained constantly. A bonus is she will book all your excursions and order in your food only from people she knows and trusts. We didn’t want to leave!! We will only book this property if we return to Bentota

Nothing negative at all which is very rare for me. As a seasoned traveller I often pick up on small details but couldn’t fault anything.

Excellent chalets and very well maintained. Feels very close to the nature. Room size is big and bathroom is extra ordinarily big.

A little oasis off the main road in Bentota but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, the beach etc. All of the bungalows were very well spaced out with their own outside areas overlooking stunning gardens and a beautiful, clean swimming pool. Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed, fridge, air con, fan etc, etc.

Wow wow wow! It was like a secret hideaway with an amazing gardens. Everything immaculate & staff & manager brilliant. If ever I did come again! DEFINITELY A STAY FOR LONGER ❤️❤️

The villa was beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, spacious, very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend it and would have liked to stay longer. The staff were friendly and always there to help. We also had an upgrade which meant we had a private pool and rear yard. We enjoyed the rear and front sitting out areas, the covered veranda also meant we could sit out when it was raining. The rear of the property is an open land with lovely palm trees. We will return one day.

Все великолепно: райский сад с роскошными яркими аутентичными домиками и прудом с карпами в вашем распоряжении..дружелюбные и очень добрые хозяева- ощущаешь себя частью семьи. Много заботы и внимания! Классные бассейны-ребенок был счастлив. Чистые, очень просторные номера , супер интернет, пригодный для работы и учебы, роскошные завтраки с вкусным кофе и разнообразием фруктов. Спасибо много-много раз!!!

Nothing. Everything was great. Такого нет- до пляжа надо пройтись, но это не большая проблема- много недорогих тук-туков готовы прийти на помощь. Рядом рестораны, супермаркет food city и овощные/фруктовые прилавки.

Bij aankomst kregen we een upgrade naar een splinternieuw huisje met privé zwembad. Het door ons geboekte huisje lag volgens de eigenaresse aan een drukke weg en zou geluidoverlast kunnen veroorzaken. Het huisje met privé zwembad was fantastisch. Echt heerlijk. Verder mooie tropische tuin, prima ontbijt en hele lieve mensen.

Het ligt aan een drukke weg. Je loopt niet zomaar even ergens naartoe. Alles moet met de tuktuk, maar dat is prima te doen.

The villas were very large with a big bathroom. Great size pool with pool towels included and lovely gardens. Staff were very nice with a simple check in. The breakfast was lovely. Short walk into Bentota for restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing oasis of serenity. We stayed 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer. Greeted warmly by Rekah and her friendly efficient staff, offered a cooling drink and presented with cold towels to cool off. Great start! From first sight it is apparent that great care and attention is paramount at Kurumba Villas: The ornate gardens are immaculate, the large pool clean and sparkling. Taken to our villa: Large bedroom, big comfy bed, fridge, A/C, ceiling fan, tv, safety box. separate sink with tea/coffee, huge modern shower room. Rekah has a great eye for detail it is clear: in the quality furnishings, paintings, layout of the gardens. It really is lovely and should be commended. Breakfast is served on the verandah of the main house, overlooking the garden and pool. So pretty. Soft music is played. European style breakfast and tea/coffee on fine china. It may be possible for Sri Lankan perhaps. We were invited to partake in a rice and curry lunch, which we accepted and was very tasty indeed. Birds, squirrels and the occasional mongoose frequent the gardens. We did have a couple of instances of squirrels scampering across the roof but really, not a problem. No bugs or insects inside but do wear mozzie spray at night (as in all Sri Lanka). Lovely stay, absolutely recommend.
