Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Location only was convenient, other than this it was one of the worst stays for me.
• Late check‑in: I arrived at reception at 3:00 pm and completed the check‑in process, but the room was not ready until 4:10 pm. This was well past the advertised standard check‑in time of 2:00 pm. • Air conditioning problem: The AC emitted a strong mould smell and failed to cool the room. Staff tried different modes, but it only worked as a fan. This made the room uncomfortable and unhealthy. • Damaged shower: The shower was broken, causing water to spray across the bathroom floor. This left the bathroom messy, slippery, and unsafe to use. • Misleading assurances: Before check‑in, I specifically asked whether the AC and shower were in good condition, and staff confirmed they were. This assurance proved inaccurate. • Missing TV remote: The television had no remote control, making it unusable. • No in‑room phone: The room lacked a phone, so I had to walk up to reception twice to request the Wi‑Fi password. • Delayed Wi‑Fi access: The Wi‑Fi password was only provided at 6:00 pm, hours after check‑in, leaving me without internet access during that time.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026We had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They kindly allowed us an early check‑in, which was such a relief after a long journey — we were very tired and truly appreciated the gesture. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Tahrir Square, making it easy to explore and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Cairo. Highly recommended for both comfort and convenience!
For our request, they even prepared a special breakfast — a thoughtful touch that made us feel cared for and valued as guests.
