the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the location was great, the astheric was fresh and funky, the apartment was spacious and well equipped

the weather was so hot and there AC was not powerful enough to really keep the space cool enough - i asked for a fan and they told me they did not have one so it was very hot for sleeping in particular i also had an issue with the bathroom fan at one point and the staff person said they could not repair it and would send someone the next day yet never did it just seemed there were no solutions to problems that arose yet overall the stay was great

I had a nice stay, the staff was always helpful and kind, and the breakfast was amazing! The bed was also nice and comfy.

Everything was good here it cozy, clean and quiet most of the time I loved that

just the only problem is the left it's a bit scary and very hard to open it as a girl I was struggling

朝食はエジプトの朝ご飯という感じで美味しかった。 スタッフも皆親切ですね。 このエリアの安宿については、4件ぐらい泊まりましたが、基本的にスタッフはどこも協力的です。 協力的の意味ですが、エジプト人らしい押しが強い協力的なスタッフと言うよりは、ここは日本人的に見て優しい方が多いですね。

ホテルの問題ではないけれど、ビルが古いためエレベーターがよく止まります（修復は早い）。 オールドカイロのダウンタウンエリアは古いビルが多いためどこのホテルも似たようなものですし、エレベーターが無いホテルもあります。

Es un edificio viejo y sucio El ascensor no anda nunca , más de 3 veces en 3 días tuve que subir y bajar por escaleras (10 pisos) Escaleras sucias sin luz, tuve que alumbrarme con el celular La puerta del ascensor es imposible de abrir y cerrar ( hay un cartel que dice que no es cumpla del hostel pero si ves otros hostels del edificio lograron modificar la puerta del ascensor y funciona bien) Si bien esto no es culpa del hostel, no pude dormir en las 3 noches La gente que se alojaba ahí era muy irrespetuosa y ruidosa. Se ponían a hablar por teléfono a las 3 am durante dos horas. Prendían la luz a cualquier Hora haciendo muchísimo ruido El baño está enfrente de la habitación pero se comparte con dos habitaciones más (15 personas un baño). Siempre que lo quieres usar está ocupado

住的是很新的，工作人员也很热情，有洗衣服务也很方便，非常干净，能看到清洁人员在做卫生，公共区也很干净也有充足的充电口

住的地方离金字塔，citystars mall有一点远，去很多地方需要打车，旁边也没有大型的超市。可能是因为刚刚装修，甲醛味有点重，我和室友闻久了头晕嗓子疼，需要长时间开窗通风

酒店的电梯太害怕了，一开始被困在里面很久。房间进去之后有上一个用户的发夹还有没换掉的地垫。wifi 信号也没法用。

Wifi 信号不好，这在旅行中很重要。 房间清洁。 还有，要为预定的客人提前说明电梯使用情况，否则会很害怕。

It was not my first time and for sure also not my last time in Madina hostel. Amazing place, perfect location, very friendly and helpful personnel, the level of accommodation always grow up. Prices are also very good. Thank you for this. See you next time, I hope soon. Inshallah :)

Clean, good team, good price, good breakfast

There were only six pieces of clothing in total, including two towels, yet they still lost a pair of my pants during washing. There was no compensation whatsoever, and no follow-up measures were taken to resolve the issue either

Muy buena atención del personal, todos amables y dispuestos a ayudarte en todo momento. Todo estaba limpio y tienen un muy buen desayuno, más de lo que esperaba.

Es un poco alejado de la zona céntrica, pero eso también es bueno porque no tienes tanto ruido y menos gente.

Cons: 1,The internet 🛜 is bad at my room, I had to use my phone's data the whole night. 2,the pillow is too big and overstuffed, it made my neck feeling uncomfortable and I couldn't fall asleep whole night.

Struttura centrale, si respirava un ambiente giovanile ed allegro... Purtroppo il nostro soggiorno era di una sola notte, mi sarebbe piaciuto viverlo di più!

L'unico neo è la presenza di qualche pecca a livello strutturale: porta della camera rotta e scarico del bagno che perdeva

Amazing hostel, I have traveled a lot and stayed in many hostels around the world, and it’s fascinating that the best hostel experience I’ve ever had was actually in my own country. The staff are genuinely the best — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The owner of the hostel is also extremely kind, respectful, and professional. They truly made me feel at home, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing stay.

Madina Hostel war der perfekte Start für mich in Kairo. Mit dem hervorragenden Frühstück begrüßt zu werden half sich in kürzester Zeit wohl zu fühlen. Moderne Einrichtung in einem alten Gebäude geben diesem Ort den Charme, der in Downtown genau richtig ist. Das große Herzstück dieser Unterkunft ist jedoch das Personal. Danke an jeden, der/die meinen Aufenthalt noch süßer gemacht hat. Bis bald!

Breakfast is more to the weak side. But there are cafes and mini markets at a doorstep. So no big issue. The elevator broke sometimes and we had to use the stairs. 10 floors. (but this is not the Hostel fault). Book here. It is a nice hostel.

Location is convenient to several restaurants and within an easy walk of the Egyptian Museum. Staff were pleasant and helpful and seemed to go out of their way to please us including booking tours, accepting payment for such and making sure we were met by drivers they arranged and assisting with Uber pick ups. Laundry service is available and inexpensive. Breakfast was plentiful and the menu varied slightly. Kareem was especially helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay.

The elevator! The hostel is on the 10th floor accessed by an entrance that was questionable. The elevator was not clean. It was scary after dark and other people (on various floors) often left the door open when exiting which meant it was non operational on more than one occasion. Twice we were charged extra by Uber because we had to walk down 10 flights of stairs to reach the external door and we were late for pick up. The common areas in the hostel were not air conditioned; windows were open and flies were a nuisance. Although it is touted as a non-smoking facility, some staff and guests smoked in the area adjacent to the elevator. The main refrigerator did not work, contained spoiled items and smelled.

La ubicación era perfecta para moverte por Cairo. Muchos restaurantes buenos cerca como por ejemplo Koshary Abu Tariq y también si te interesa ir al Museo Egipcio lo tienes a 5 minutos andando.

Al ser un hostel céntrico en un edificio antiguo se escucha bastante el tráfico y el ascensor a menudo fallaba por mantenimiento. (Es un piso 10)

Great location and an excellent host. Mohamad is very kind and welcoming. My flight was at midnight, and I arrived early in the morning around 3am. He kindly allowed me to rest on the sofa before my check-in time. Really appreciate it, thank you so much.

L’accueil du personnel de l’auberge de jeunesse qui se met en quatre pour résoudre vos petits souçis et sont extrémement arrangeants avec vous. Choukran Mohammed, Sarah, Abdu! La situation à proximité immédiate de la place Tahrir et du (vieux) Musée Egyptien. Pour un ou deux voyageurs je vous conseille de prendre les chambres avec douche particulière ET balcon. Pas le studio. Cf plus bas.

J’avais réservé le studio avec kitchenette qui est le plus grand et le plus cher. Mais une fois sur place je me suis rendu compte qu’il était vraiment défraichi et le balcon vraiment minuscule. Il faut vraiment y faire des travaux de rénovation je trouve, d’ailleurs l’établissement en convient lui-même. J’ai pû changer de chambre trés facilement et on m’a remboursé la différence ensuite. Les chambres, notamment celle avec balcon, est beaucoup plus moderne. Le balcon est, encore une fois, une merveille (en tout cas pour moi). Malgré ce petit écueil je recommande chaudement cet hôtel qui vous permet d’être au coeur de cette ville fascinante.

Pleasant stay at the Madina Hostel. The room was very clean and the location is perfect to enjoy an original Cairo experience. The staff is really helpful and polite.

Maybe the fact that there were many flies in the area the breakfast was made but the Cairo is full of flies and I understand it is difficult to restrict them. The elevator seems a bit odd but it is completely functional.

Struttura accogliente, staff giovane e disponibile, ci hanno aiutato nella ricerca di guide e mezzi di trasporto indispensabili per muoversi al Cairo. Letto comodo, arredamento essenziale

Ascensore datato e spesso non funzionante, la struttura è al decimo piano! Lo staff si è sempre prodigato per risolvere in fretta il problema.

직원도 친절했고 체크아웃날 짐 맡기거나 저녁때까지 로비에 있어도 터치안해서 좋았어요. 타흐리르 광장 옆에 있고 환전소도 근처에있고 올드카이로 공항 기자의 중심이어서 여행하기좋았습니다. 한국분들 추천해요!!

Çalışanlar güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Her zaman yardımcı oldular. Konumu çok iyiydi. Nil nehrine yakındı ve akşam nil nehri civarinda yürüyüş yapabildim. Kesinlikle güvenli bir yerdeydi. Kendimi çok rahat hissettim.

Sadece belki eşyaları koymak için biraz daha büyük bir dolap olsaydı ya da valizleri koymak için ayrı bir alan olsaydı kusursuz olabilirdi.

The hostel is located in downtown which is near to shopping stores and restaurants. The hostel itself was clean. The receptionist was nice and approachable.

One thing to consider is, the hostel is located at 10th floor. And on my third day, the elevator is not working and im about to check out. I had to carry my heavy luggage from 10th to ground and there is no one available to help. Although it’s not the hostel’s fault for the problem with the elevator, but it is something to consider especially if you have heavy luggage and old people with you because you will be left no choice but to use the stairs. This situation could have been better if they have assigned people to help especially if they know that their elevator’s not working

L'emplacement a proximité musée, centre ville, l'accueil, renseignements " repas du soir delicieux" pour manger au centre et à proximité, chambre confortable et bien isolée des bruits..., propre (et merci pour le sèche cheveux). Literie bonne ...Tout était bien.

Ne pas se fier à l'entrée de l'hôtel qui peut dérouter car une belle surprise attend au 10 ème étage.

Das Personal, die Atmosphäre, das kleine Frühstück, das Zimmer (wir hatten ein privates DZ) war wirklich richtig toll! Ich kann das Hostel wirklich nur empfehlen!

Der Aufzug der öfters mal nicht funktionier und das Treppenhaus ist für uns Europäer eher gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir sind die 10 Stockwerte zu Fuß hoch gelaufen, aber das war überhaupt kein Problem = kurzes Sportprogramm ;)

L’auberge de jeunesse est très bien située et vraiment agréable. Heureusement qu’il y a un ascenseur car elle se trouve au 10e étage. Lors de notre départ, il était en panne, mais le personnel a gentiment descendu nos valises. Heureusement que c’était à la fin du séjour, car monter 10 étages plusieurs fois par jour aurait été compliqué. Le personnel est vraiment très attentionné, gentil et serviable, tout en restant discret. L’ambiance est conviviale : on peut facilement échanger avec d’autres si on en a envie, mais aussi rester tranquille sans pression. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit. Pour information, j’y ai séjourné avec mon enfant dans un studio, avec une chambre séparée et une salle de bain privative, ce qui était très confortable.

Quelques détails pourraient encore être améliorés, même si cela n’a pas gâché notre séjour. J’aurais beaucoup apprécié avoir du vrai café au petit-déjeuner plutôt que du Nescafé. Dans le studio, la salle de bain pourrait aussi être un peu mieux aménagée pour éviter de mettre de l’eau partout pendant la douche, et l’évacuation de la baignoire pourrait être améliorée. Cela reste vraiment du détail : dans l’ensemble, le séjour était très, très bien.

Ottima accoglienza dello staff sempre a disposizione con reception H24. Posizione eccellente, vicino piazza tarhir e servita da locali e negozi. Abbiamo soggiornato due volte: la prima camera era ottima, la seconda la doccia non aveva il box, ma nel complesso buona camera.

Ascensore datato, invece la struttura rinnovata. . Colazione abbondante ma migliorabile nella qualità poiché ad esempio dovrebbero fare attenzione alla scadenza dello yogurt.

L’eau était parfois coupé. Peut-être faudrait-il aussi mettre des sécurités sur l’ascenceur.

It's on the 10th floor, which provides a great view of the city, but the elevator is a single lift, not the best I've seen.

The breakfast was freshly made and nicely served in the common/lounge area. I must give a special shout out to Kareem whose hospitality was amazing.

They don’t have an iron available haha, that was the only thing, but since it’s a hostel it’s understandable, anyways excellent place!

I had a lovely stay at the hostel. I had bookings for both a private room and a dorm room later on during my trip, and both stays were equally good. The hostel has a great vibe and great views of Downtown Cairo. Location is nice and easily accessible. They also do day trips around Cairo and other places, and I did one of those which was great as well. People are very helpful and welcoming. Overall, my experience here has been quite positive.

Great location; staff helpful and always available; nice and clean rooms and respectful guests. Elevator from the other century but still working, don't be put off! Value for money, I'd go back

Super zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, Saubere Räume, gutes Frühstück, preiswerte Getränke, Küchenbenutzung gratis, kleiner DachBalkon, Hostel bietet auch (kostenpflichtige) Ausflüge an, zum Beispiel Pyramiden, Grand Egyptian Museum, Oase Fayoum, Wüstentrip etc.

Отличное расположение в шаговой доступности от старого музея. Расположен на последнем этаже, к нему ведёт лифт. Комната большая, с отличным балконом, неплохой ванной. Завтраки вполне приличные. Персонал отзывчивый, решает проблемы. Кровать в комнате была одна, а не две.

Были в начале марта, невероятно холодно ночью, из окон дует, одеяло не помогает. Понимаю, что реже жарко в Египте, но зимой в Каире очень холодно. И в ванной есть тараканы, это очень неприятно.

The hot water supply was very inconsistent! The bathroom had a noticeable drain smell. You can hear the traffic and street noise from the room. The card machine was broken when I tried to pay, so I was forced to use cash.

The staff were incredible, friendly, welcoming, and so helpful. Probably the most comfortable I've felt at a hostel, like we had been friends for awhile. Breakfast was perfect.

조식이 진짜 맛있고 이집트식 밥을 먹어서 좋았어요 직원분들이 친절해요! 공용공간도 잘되어있고 공간이 예뻐요! 다시 카이로를 가게된다면 꼭 재방문할것같아요
