Reviewed Aug 22, 2026A hostel overlooking the harbour. It's the next best option money wise compared to staying in a Rorbuer. Comfortable beds and easy access.
There isn't a common room, only a small kitchen so be prepared to eat in your room. There is a table and chairs are provided. The high cost.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026The hostel was a thrifty option for the otherwise very expensive Lofoten. We were able to walk to a hike from these accommodations, and it was close to the ferry which we appreciated.
The bathroom didn't have soap which was a bit surprising. We would have appreciated staff presence to help with any questions or issues. That said, we would stay again!

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Ostello con un panorama mozzafiato, stanza ampia, pulita e curata nei dettagli. Cucina piccola ma dotata del necessario. Presenti due stanze per la doccia e due bagni, il che consente di non dover aspettare per usufruirne. Sotto all'ostello si trova il Museo dello Stoccafisso, che personalmente ho visitato e vi consiglio. L'area intorno all'ostello è davvero molto tranquilla. A piedi si raggiunge la zona più famosa di Å in due/tre minuti. Presenti parcheggi in loco gratuitamente. Consigliatissimo! Sembra di stare in hotel!

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Wir waren in einem kleineren Teil des Hostels in einem separaten Gebäude mit nur sechs Zimmern. Dort gab es zwei Duschen, zwei Toiletten und eine kleine Küche. Die Betten mussten selbst bezogen werden. Alles war sauber und die anderen Gäste waren sehr nett. Insgesamt eine einfache, aber angenehme Unterkunft mit einer ruhigen und familiären Atmosphäre. Super kostenloser Parkplatz und wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Wasser.
Die Wände sind leider sehr dünn, sodass man die Nachbarn deutlich hören kann. Außerdem gibt es keinen Aufenthaltsraum, was etwas schade ist.

La pulizia lascia un po' a desiderare, la doccia assolutamente da cambiare, in un bagno si allagava tutto, nessun tappetino. Nessuna stanza per mangiare. Letti molto molli e cuscini quasi inesistenti da quanto erano morbidi

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Amazing location in historical building over the museum, right on the water in the center of the village. Stunning views from both rooms we stayed in. Free parking lot. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Address in Google maps is incorrect - use coordinates hostel sends before arrival.
The real problem during our stay was cleanliness both in common areas and in the rooms. Understandable when some guests do not flush shared shower after use or leave dirty plates in kitchen and you have to clean them - while thick layer of dust with hardened chewing gums under beds and dirt in corners is pure responsibility of the cleaning staff.

Was a little difficult to access with our ferry arrival time, had to walk about hour and quarter from Moskenes to Å because bus wasnt for a few hours. Also maybe boot cleaning tools there would be really cool, got very muddy on a hike there.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026I had not stayed in a shared dorm before - it was great. I stayed in the female four bedroom dorm it was roomy and clean. Facilities were great and the accommodation was in a beautiful setting! Instructions were sent ahead of time and were clear. I would definitely stay there again - good value for money!!!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026What a pretty place to stay!! I loved every bit of it. Directions not very clear as Google maps take you across the hostel. You would need to walk all the way up and take the road from behind to reach the hostel. Spectacular location.

Es hat nicht sehr viele WC und Duschen in der Unterkunft. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist sehr klein und es gibt kein Gemeinschaftsraum, wo man essen kann. D.h. man muss im Zimmer oder draussen essen. Der Tisch im Zimmer war jedoch aus unserer Sicht nicht sauber und klebrig gewesen.

Sadly, there was no common room for eating or relaxing, so mixed gender groups staying in the female and male dorms respectively have no common place to meet or eat.

Die Duschen und Toiletten räumen waren teilweise schimmelig. Waren auch noch oberflächlich sauber gemacht.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026This is a very cute and cosy little hostel in the beautiful village of Å. I stayed here at the end of the Lofoten Long Crossing hike. I stayed in the female dormitory, which was a great option. The hostel has everything you need: easy self-check-in, nice facilities, a kitchen and comfy beds. The price was reasonable too.
