Reviewed Sep 17, 2026We had a lovely stay at the cabin. It was super cozy and comfortable, we had everything we needed. Heating as well as all other appliances worked very well. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and authenticity of the cabin.

Siivousta ei oltu ihan vasta tehty. Lisäksi alakerta vaatisi remonttia, keittiössä inhottava haju. Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet kuuluivat hintaan, mutta vuodevaatteet piti laittaa itse paikoilleen.

There were only 2 showers and 3 toilets which is pushing it when the place is full.

La strutta è pulita e ben arredata. Host preciso nelle indicazioni. Parcheggio gratuito a poca distanza dalla struttura. Consigliato

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026La camera è accogliente, la cucina attrezzata e il locale di soggiorno piacevole, i bagni puliti.
L'arrivo nel sottotetto dove si trova la stanza è molto fatiscente, non c'è il pavimento le travi e l'assito di legno del tetto sono a vista con chiodi che spuntano, c'è un secchio per raccogliere l'acqua che probabilmente percola quando piove, ci sono ragnatele e polvere.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Super Lage in Å, gleich neben der Bäckerei. 2 Gemeinschaftsduschen - waren bei uns immer verfügbar wenn wir Duschen wollten. Klappte also problemlos. Küche ist gross mit je 2x Kochherd plus Geschirrspüler und hat genügend Platz. Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe.
Unser Tripleroom hatte nur leichte Vorhänge. Verdunkelung also nicht möglich. Zum Glück wirds Anfang September bereits wieder richtig Nacht/dunkel, aber bereits ab 5h30 wars taghell im Zimmer. Es fehlen Kisten bzw. Anschreibe-Möglichkeiten für den Food. So sind vom unseren Mitbewohnenden Sachen abhanden gekommen, welche wohl als gemeinschaftlich angeschaut wurden. Bisschen mehr Backequipment wäre schön (Gratinformen, Backpapier etc)

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026We needed a place for the night, and Lofoten Budget Hostel was perfect. It’s just a five‑minute drive from the ferry and right next to the only bakery in Å, so we couldn’t ask for a better location. The facility was clean, bed sheets were provided, and even though the showers are shared, they’re located inside the building. It’s also a historical property, which adds to the charm.
Because the house is right by the water — and maybe because it’s mid‑August — the birds outside our room were super loud. We couldn’t sleep past 6 a.m., even though we arrived on the island at 1 a.m. It’s just nature doing its thing, but this is a heads‑up: the birds are loud!

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Sembra di essere in un villaggio fuori dal tempo, con la nostra casetta rossa al fondo di un piccolo vicolo, in mezzo alla natura e alle strutture storiche del paese. Comoda bakeri a pochi passi, molto gettonata, e vicina al museo dello stoccafisso. Con una breve passeggiata si raggiunge il cartello più fotografato! La casa è essenziale ma completa nell'equipaggiamento, le 2 camere hanno letti singoli, il bagno è molto piccolo e sacrificato, ma per un breve soggiorno si può fare. Una buona soluzione.

La camera era molto molto piccola e spartana, due letti singoli, un tavolino e una sedia. I bagni comuni non erano puliti. Complessivamente il soggiorno è stato scomodo e il prezzo, seppure basso rispetto agli standard norvegesi, non era adeguato.

Lokit pitivät melko kovaa ääntä, joten korvatulpat voisivat olla hyvät.

Dans notre chambre, número 5, il y a une prise très dangereuse, les fils electriques n ont Pas de protection plastique. Une lampe craint aussi. On a su deplacer les lits pour dormir tranquilos, sans risque de toucher ces fils par accident.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026We had an amazing stay. The hostel is very well equipped and has an adequate number of facilities for all guests. The rooms were clean and each even had their own dedicated sink. The presence of a drying room is also handy. The owners were responsive and kind. I would definitely come back, as they offer a very good service for a reasonable price given the amazing location.
There are no trash cans in the rooms, but there are central ones in the kitchen.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Enkelt, smidigt och bra läge! Bodde i rum nummer 4 som var supertyst och bekvämt, men lite varmt. Men inga problem att ha fönstret öppet för att vädra när det behövdes! När dörr och fönster var stängda hörde man varken andra gäster nedanför i köket eller fiskmåsarna utanför.

Quando ha piovuto, l'acqua gocciolava dal soffitto nel corridoio del primo Piano. Quando ci si chiude in bagno o doccia a chiave, c'è il serio rischio che la chiave non giri più ...restando bloccati dentro!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Die Unterkunft ist der Wahnsinn 😍😍 Wir hatten ein Zweierzimmer direkt unter dem Dach mit Blick aufs Meer 🌊 Das Zimmer verfügt über einen eigenen Wasserhahn 🚰, ein Waschbecken sowie einen Schreibtisch und einen kleinen Beistelltisch. In der Küche lässt es sich wunderbar kochen und nette Hostel-Bekanntschaften knüpfen 😍 auch eine Food-Sharing/ Saving Bereich gibt es dort und der hilft einem gerade zu Beginn gut aus. Es gibt im Ort nämlich keinen Supermarkt, sondern nur einen kleinen Bereich im Gift-Shop mit dem Nötigsten. Das Hostel verfügt über 3 Toiletten und 2 Duschen, alles super sauber und auch die Küche wird täglich gereinigt. Zusätzlich gibt es ein Wohnzimmer mit Erker und eine Terrasse für sonnige Stunden ☀️🦦
Was man wissen muss: es gibt Möwen rund um das Haus, die geschützt sind und laut und hungrig 🦅 Und es handelt sich um ein Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert (wir fanden das toll) Ihr teilt euch einen Kühlschrank: das geht ist aber teilweise etwas eng :))

Il bagni sono poco curati e forse un pò pochi per tutti gli ospiti. La nostra camera era all'ultimo piano in una soffitta dismessa e poco curata.

Nous avons eu une petite inondation au niveau de la douche à l’arrivée mais le personnel a est super réactif et efficace.

Frigo pas propre , chambres pas propres. Plaque de cuisson qui ne fonctionne pas correctement. Pas de balais, rien pour nettoyer par terre.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026위치는 아주 좋았고 주차하기도 편했어요 그리고 오랜된 건물이지만 부엌시설이 좋았고 거실 쉼터도 깨끗했어요 그리고 조용했습니다, 밖에서 갈매기떼들이 밤낮으로 울었지만 문만 잘 닫으면 취침하는데 별 어려움은 없었어요 특히 소금과 기름이 준비 되어 있어 유용하게 잘 이용했습니다. 샤워실과 화장실도 충분해서 별 어려움없이 잘 사용했고, 사워물도 시원스럽게 잘 나왔습니다
침대 사이즈가 너무 작아서 조금 불편했어요. 그리고 냉장고에 각자의 음식물에 체크아웃날짜, 이름을 적었으면 좋을 듯해요 그리고 Free Food 놓는 곳을 확실히 해두면 해요. 우리가 오해를 받아서 조금 곤란했졌었어요,

Purtroppo il silenzio non c'è perché i gabbiani amano quella zona e sono davvero tanti, ma è una cosa molto caratteristica anche quella.

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. There are two buildings directly in front of the property that are completely occupied by seagulls. The constant noise and the large amount of bird droppings made it very unpleasant to spend time outside or even keep the windows open. The shared bathroom was located right next to my room, so guests walking to and from it created a lot of noise. The bathroom also had an unpleasant smell. What made the experience even more disappointing was the value for money. Just a few days earlier, I stayed at another property very close by for a lower price, and the standard was significantly better in every aspect.
