Tuk Tuk Hostel Negombo

Le personnel est très sympa, l'espace extérieur est chouette, l'accès à la piscine d'un autre hôtel est un vrai plus. Des travaux sur les dortoirs en ce moment donc déplacé dans une chambre avec A/C. 👍🏽

Il n'y a pas grand chose à faire autour, le restaurant est assez cher - même s'il est bon - et pour celles et ceux qui veulent du calme, il y a beaucoup de bruit le soir (restauration, bar, concerts) jusqu'à 1h du matin

ドミトリーで予約していましたが、この日はイベントだったようで一人部屋に値段も変わらずアップグレードされました！！ とても綺麗でスリランカついたばっかりだったためとてもゆっくり休めました！ バスターミナルまでもそんなに遠くなく、スムーズにシギリヤに迎えました！ スタッフの皆さんとても親切でした😭

Las instalaciones muy nuevas. Todo muy limpio. El baño con separación con mampara de la ducha. Cerca de la playa.

El ruido de la música en directo del restaurante que duraba hasta medianoche. Si quieres un sitio tranquilo para descansar este no es tu sitio. Que al preguntar como ir a Anuradhapura me intentaron vender un paquete que costaba 4 veces más de lo que me costó haciéndolo por mí cuenta.

Super vriendelijke mensen die je willen helpen bij elk probleem dat je hebt, de bedden zijn verzorgd en je krijgt een handdoek die je kan gebruiken tijdens je verblijf.

Het feestje van het restaurant was redelijk luid en kon je horen tot in de kamer maar dat wist ik op voorhand dus heeft me niet zoveel gestoord.

Kamer was wat klein en de badkamer ontzettend benauwd en personeel sprak haast geen Engels

Pour ma première nuit au Sri Lanka, Tuk Tuk Hostel était vraiment top ! 🇱🇰 L’endroit est propre, le personnel très agréable et il y a un immense espace convivial pour manger, boire un verre et profiter de la bonne musique. Je recommande sans hésiter ! 😊

Pour ceux qui souhaitent se lever tôt, s’il y a un concert le soir, n’hésitez pas à prévoir des boules Quies. Mais malgré ça, j’ai quand même très bien dormi ! 😊

Das Personal ist super Nett und hilft dir bei allem deiner Fragen. Uns haben sie gesagt wie wir am besten in Sri Lanka an unseren Zielort kommen und haben alles weitere für ein guten Preis organisiert.

Hele lekkere bedden, en fijne badkamers. Het personeel wat erg behulpzaam bij het regelen van vervoer de volgende dag.

De wifi werkte niet goed in de kamer.

Spacious bed , clean property and washrooms, curtains could give more privacy but I didnt mind...the restaurant comes alive in the evening

Very helpful staff and nice that one can use the swimming pool of the partner hotel.

I stayed here for one night after arriving late at CMB. Everything you need for a good nights sleep, the bed was comfortable, a towel was provided and the bathrooms are great - clean and each separate bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Great that there is a restaurant at the hostel which serves great food, and had live music early in the evening. Also convenient that this hostel is located so close to the airport and train station. If you stay here, you can use the pool at a nice hotel 2 minutes away.

Would be great if the beds has curtains but most hostels in Sri Lanka don't have this. The door to get into the dorm was quite loud and clunky when opening/closing.

La limpieza de los baños, cada vez que iba, parecía que lo acababan de limpiar, y eso que es compartido, impecable. Las camas, colchón muy cómodo, pude descansar, aire acondicionado a una temperatura perfecta y no son literas clásicas, son unos módulos de madera muy espaciosos y cómodos para organizar tus cosas dentro, tiene enchufe y una pequeña lamparita. La ubicación esta bien y poder usar la piscina de otro hotel que está a pocos metros, es fantástico.

Parece que el lugar está mas enfocado al restaurante y sus clientes, fui un fin de semana de fiesta nacional y todas las mesas estaban reservadas durante todo el fin de semana a clientes de fuera del hostal. No tiene zonas comunes de actividad para la gente del hostel, tipo billar, dardos, cualquier lugar de reunión para conocer a los demas viajeros, como dije, está enfocado mas al restaurante que a los viajeros. En las fotos de booking hay una donde aparece una mesa de billar, donde ahora hay mesas para comer, deberían eliminar esa foto para no confundir al viajero pensando que hay zona de actividad.

Beds were big and comfortable. Acces to the neighboring hotel's pool was very nice but we ended up going there only once as it rained every day for the 3 days we were there. Altough there's no common area you can sit in one of the tables there. We could also BYOB ;) but it's probably not encouraged

On my boyfriend's bed you could clearly see the sheets were not changed and washed as they had toothpaste stains. The AC leaked one entire night making it impossible to catch a good night's sleep. My backpack got wet. They fixed it in the morning but it kept leaking... No wifi. I mean it exists but it does not work.

The bed was very comfortable and the place was clean and had a lively bar nearby

The swimming pool was under maintenance when i was there but I still enjoy the poolside.

清潔できれいなベッドでした。またセキュリティもきちんとしていました。併設のレストランの料理も美味しかったし、夜は生演奏がきけてたいへん良かったです。スタッフの方もとても優しくしてくださいました。

Wi-Fiが弱く、部屋の中だとほとんど繋がりませんでした。ですがそれ以外は本当に良くておすすめできます。

Really clean and good place to start my trip in negombo, close to the airport as well (30 min tuktuk ride)

Quick stop off when I first landed in Sri Lanka. Great location, lovely hostel and the owners are very kind. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet.

Only request is that there be more toilet paper and hand soap in the bathrooms but otherwise fantastic stay!

Extremely good value for money. The rooms are spacious and clean with good quality shower rooms and air conditioning. The Tuktuk restaurant on your doorstep also offers great food and drink. I came back here twice because I liked it so much!

The beds don’t have curtains so you don’t have so much privacy in the rooms. And the location is a little bit of a walk from the beach.

Iedereen was vriendelijk, de badkamer toilet waren soort eigen ruimtes en zeer schoon

Het is in Sri Lanka overall rustig maar je merkt dat Negombo echt een doortocht plek is, waardoor men of klaar is met reizen of aan bijkomen van een reisdag. Het sociale aspect is dus niet hoog.

The rooms were very spacious and clean for a shared hostel room. The showers were also nice, hot water with good water pressure, which is rare in hostels from my experience. The hostel restaurant and bar is also very nice and it was extremely cheap.

It’s a slightly long walk into the town centre, but that’s all!

The property is nice. The stuff themselves is friendly. Its just that my boyfriend is a local guy and they don’t accept locals to stay. Even tho they had nearly no bookings. Also i booked an AirPort transfer wich arrived 15 min later. Abd when you need to catch a flight you want to be on time

Everything was clean and modern

New accommodation with comfortable beds, very quiet to rest. Good restaurant in the premises and optional breakfast at a nearby hotel. Very friendly staff that helps with whatever you need.

Kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, wenn man in Negombo ist. Sehr sauber und die Betten richtig gemütlich. Das Personal ist auch sehr sehr nett und der Laundry Service war auch super. Toll ist auch, dass man den Pool von einem anderen Hotel mit nutzen kann, also wirklich perfekt.

Het is een fijn hostel, wellicht niet voor als je een sociaal hostel zoekt. Wij waren samen, dus dan was het prima.

Property was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom facilities very nice how it is separate from the room and both toilet and shower together. Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops. Perfect for when you land in Colombo to spend the first night.

It wasn't initially explained that the pool is at another hotel, just a couple minute walk away. Also, unfortunately the Europeans got a hold of the thermostat and it ended up being quite hot in the room as they turned down the AC.

The restaurant food was nice and that I had use of a pool that was just around the corner that was very pleasant to chill after sight seeing

Was very noisy so didn't sleep great that's why I've given it a lowish score the place is lovely and comfortable and clean staff great the food at the restaurant was nice bit slow on service but it's like been out side on the court yard sleeping or trying they had a big party on valentines day so the noise went on till 12 then there was noise again packing it up at half 5 6 in the morning pluss had a noisey room mate no fault of there's but she was cooking and fading at 5am and once I'm awake I find it difficult to get back to sleep which was a shame as the bed was comfortable!

The staff is so friendly! Bed was comfy as well. There are a lot of bathrooms so I never had to wait! You also have free access to a swimming pool around the corner! Would totally recommend :)

De kamers waren netjes en fijn ingedeeld, het restaurant buiten was ook erg gezellig! Vriendelijk personeel!

De badkamers zaten echt helemaal vol kakkerlakken, ik zette de douche aan en er sprongen er een stuk of zeven uit het putje :( En het mist een beetje dat “hostel gevoel”. Er was verder geen gemeenschappelijke ruimte behalve het restaurant.

The staff was super friendly, Jessica was very sweet and gave me a coffee the morning I left ! The rooms have really strong AC and the outside areas are quite chilled to spend a good evening!

It close to the beach but that's about it

Its located in a very shady road, there is nothing around it. The hostel itself is a trap, I saw this mentioned in a few bad reviews but I didn't think it would be this bad. If you are planning to sleep this isn't the place for it. It gets loud at night. And actually its pretty far from the airport and negombo town itself. The place is more of a restaurant than a hostel. Its got no space to meetup with other travelers. And most of the the mentioned pool is not even inside the property. Its like they are renting out a pool from another property. So its weird when we do go there. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place. I think it would have been better to choose a accommodation away from the sea itself as its not impressive and there is plenty of other nice beaches in Sri Lanka.
