Reviewed Sep 16, 2026el estilo del hostal era acogedor y buen sistema de desayuno donde estaba todo listo para uno servirse.
No había nadie en recepción, a veces aparecía el dueño. El desayuno era rico pero siempre lo mismo, no variaban en nada y no ponían agua fria. La pieza era muy chica, no tenía closet ni una comoda donde poder dejar las cosas. La cama doble era solo de 2 plazas por lo que era demasiado chica e incómoda. El colchón muy malo y las almohadas muy altas y duras. Pedi que me las cambiaran y no lo hicieron. Es un hostal solo para quedarse una noche, si necesitan más, no lo recomiendo.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Loved our stay here, very comfortable. The rooms were always lovely and warm which was very welcome as it was freezing outside. Everywhere was spotless, staff were friendly, $15 to do laundry on site, breakfast was great, beds were comfy, no complaints whatsoever. Location is right in the middle of town and only a 5-10 minute walk to the main square. Highly recommend

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026Ein gut gelegenes Hostel mit schönen, geräumigen Zimmern und gemütlichem Gemeinschaftsbereich mit gut ausgestatteter Küche. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, auch Öl und Gewürze. Wir genossen die Zeit dort sehr und waren vor und nach unseren Ausflügen nach Torres del Paine dort. Das Frühstück wird von den Gastgebern bereitgestellt, es fehlt an nichts. Man kann sich selber zusätzlich frische Eier braten. Eine Automatenkaffeemaschiene steht ganztägig zur Selbstbedienung bereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr schön hergerichtet und absolut ausreichend, dafür dass es im Preis bereits enthalten ist. Auch die Küche, die den Gästen zur Verfügung steht, hat alles was man braucht. Wir würden definitiv wieder hier Urlaub machen.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026We had a wonderful stay at this cosy hotel in Puerto Arenas. The location was absolutely perfect- close to the bus station and also very central. The attention to detail really stood out, from the uniquely decorated rooms to the warm, inviting atmosphere, and the room itself was a great size with excellent amenities, including access to a washer and dryer. The hotel was also incredibly convenient for our trek, offering secure storage while we were away and even preparing an amazing breakfast for us before our early morning departure. The breakfast itself was a highlight—fresh, varied, and the perfect start to long days of exploring.

Of six weeks in Patagonia, this was my favorite lodging in the Magallanes region. I went back for several days after my first visit.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026We stayed at Treehouse Patagonia in Feb 2025 and again now for 2 nights (before and after our trip to Torres del Paine). I would highly recommend them! Everything is clean and comfortable and our room had everything we needed. The self-service breakfast is lovely and very convenient. The location is perfect - in the centre of Puerto Natales and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would like to give special mention to Gerardo, who was exceptionally helpful and accommodating - thank you!

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The staff were super accommodating and helpful. They arranged breakfast for a very early departure to El Calafate. A very warm/homy feel. They have excellent wifi (5G) and bikes and laundry available on premises.
There are a small number of private bedrooms and when folks talk in the hallway it is noisy in your bedroom. Would be helpful if they told guest to keep all talking to the common area.

I did not like the receptionist's attitude .She was very unpleasant and arrogant . It was very weird vibe . At one point I came to check in, yet she ignored me completely because she was cooking a meal for herself . No customer skills - just some sort of millennials entitlement . Also the room I stayed was a bit overpriced .There was the mold in the shower curtain and stains in the window rollet and no duvet cover . I can only compare this to my previous stay in a hotel in Puerto Natales with the same price range . Deco of the living room very nice -my room need a bit TLS

We primarily booked there to use the lockers to hold our extra stuff while we hiked the W Trek. That worked well. Not too far of a hike to the bus station or good restaurants. Each room had its own bathroom.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Kleines individuelles Hotel das rustikal und originell eingerichtet ist. An kräftigen Farben wurde nicht gespart, was auf den originellen Charakter einzahlt. Ich habe dort zweimal übernachtet und wusste mein zurückgelassenes Gespäck in guter Hand. Das Frühstück ist Self-Service,(mit Küchennutzung) mit guter Auswahl. Dieser Service kommt insbesondere den Frühaufbrechern zu Gute. Die Restauranttipps des Besitzers waren echte Volltreffer.
Der Obstschale würde ich noch ein paar Tomaten zufügen.

De temperatuur van het douche water was moeilijk te regelen. Er was praktisch nooit iemand aanwezig voor vragen, enkel iemand om ons in te checken en het kuis personeel. Maar die mis je meestal als je op tijd naar Torres del Paine vertrekt.

Reviewed Dec 20, 2025El lugar es muy cálido, está siempre calentito. El desayuno es demasiado completo y siempre estuvo listo. ¿Lo mejor? La maquina de café 😍. Desconozco si se podía usar todo el día, pero tenerla disponible en la mañana fue, maravilloso. La pieza es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, y la cama muy cómoda y limpia. Toallas, shampoo, acondicionador y jabón disponible para uso permanente. El hostal está ubicado muy cerca de todo a pie y de noche es muy silencioso.
Es solo una observación: No es que no me haya gustado, pero creo que quizás, el valor - para ser un hostal - es alto, pero comprendo que Natales es Zona turística.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2025Friendly staff, thank you for waiting up for us to check in just after 10pm when we got back from the W trek! It was so nice to come back to Treehouse (where we had also stayed before the trek) to come back to our stored bags, a warm hostel, a great shower, comfy bed, kitchen facilities, etc - we appreciated all of it, especially the ability to rent trekking poles and the availability and use of a washing machine when we got back. Just a lovely place to stay :)
