The location was central and the staff was really friendly and polite.

The room is so small that it is not possible to lay two open suitcases on the floor at the same time. It was not possible to open the window completely and the fan was very loud.

Zero staff all’accoglienza, stanza al terzo piano con scale strettissime, camera maleodorante, formiche sul letto e negli asciugamani, il bagno era al piano di sotto, il ventilatore rumorosissimo, piccola (e unica) finestra senza zanzariera né tenda né nulla quindi impossibile da tenere aperta, cavi scoperti ovunque, sporcizia per terra e negli angoli, rumori fortissimi dal tetto e dal terrazzo adiacenti

Ansich hat es schon gepasst..ich muss gestehen, wir haben bei der Buchung übersehen, dass es kein eigenes Badezimmer gibt. Für den Preis war es dann eher naja, für "überschwemmte" Badezimmer aufgrund anderer Besucher kann das Hostl z.B. nichts. Das Zimmer (Apple) war sehr klein, man konnte grade so ums Bett gehen. 1 Nachttischlampe + Nachttisch war leider defekt. Die Küche ist mit allem was man so braucht ausgestattet. Vom inkludierten Frühstück hätten wir uns etwas mehr erwartet, man konnte sich aus 4 vorgegebenen Toastvarianten eine aussuchen + 1 Café, 1 Tee oder 1 Saft auswählen. Die Lage ist gut, man ist direkt in der Innenstadt. Eine Parkgarage in der Nähe gabs auch, wo man 13€/Tag zahlen musste. Ps: unbedingt ohropax mitnehmen, die (Party-)Nächte in Lagos Straßen dauern lang, und das nächtliche Lüften aufgrund fehlender Klimaanlage (Ventilator vorhanden...) bleibt nicht aus..

Communal bathroom, breakfast is very limited. No staff to contact or speak to. Room was clean and tidy, but shelf was falling off so couldn't use and light bulbs were out. I was in the Cherry room

Bien situado, céntrico. Desayuno incluido. La cama era muy cómoda y con buen colchón. Tenía enchufes y lámparas en la cama en ambos lados.

Habitación extremadamente pequeña. Ventilador viejo y roto. Ventana minúscula. La habitación en la última planta está reformada a partir de un viejo trastero y no cumple con los requisitos mínimos de confort. Además, la ventana da a una terraza de uso público por parte del resto de inquilinos, lo cual elimina la privacidad de la habitación. Eso no estaba bien explicado en el anuncio. Además, los baños estaban sucios, pero eso es culpa de los inquilinos y no del personal, que sí limpian todos los días. La habitación no nos la limpiaron, aunque cambiaron las toallas un día (de cuatro noches). La nevera era insuficiente (prácticamente no enfriaba) y el microondas estaba golpeado, como si lo hubieran rescatado de la basura.

Posto comodo per visitare Lagos e dintorni. Camere pulite. Possibilità di stendere asciugamani bagnati sul rooftop. Letto molto comodo. Colazione ottima e anche cena al ristorante nepalese a fianco. Ho mangiato anche Acai bowl buonissimi al caffè che serve la colazione. Staff gentilissimo, tutti.

L'unica pecca è il bagno in comune, che lì dipende sempre dall'educazione della gente e che a volte fumava pure in corridoio o in camera. Schiamazzi delle persone fino allle 3 di mattina dovuti alla zona centralissima. Ma non è colpa della struttura, ovviamente, se sei in centro, è così quando la gente non ha educazione.

Falta um ar condicionado, a ventoinha não resolve. Era preferível pagar mais um pouco e ter.

In the center perfect near the beach. It is easy to reach the host for questions, they even gave us more pillow.

El baño lo sucio q lo dejaban los del otro nivel de piso, y no lo limpiaban diario solo cambiaban las toallas del piso. Cosa q deberían mantener la limpieza del baño ya q es para todos

La localización fue lo mejor; estás en el centro de la ciudad.

El desayuno es un poco básico y las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado. Te dan un ventilador, que igual está bien para la primera y segunda planta, pero mi habitación estaba en la tercera, donde le da todo el sol del día y en verano eso es un horno. Además, tiene una ventana en la que todo el mundo se puede asomar a la habitación si caminan por la terraza… no tiene privacidad

El personal fue amable y estaba limpio. Contamos con insumos para cocinar

O proprietário da pensão muito grosseiro ao falar no telemóvel. Outro ponto, errou ao me passar a senha de um quarto e quando eu cheguei la havia hospedado outras pessoas, precisamos subir e descer com as malas para resolver a situação. Fui transferida para outro quarto, que não estava preparado, não havia toalhas, meu marido, mais uma vez teve que descer para pedir, os funcionários deram toalhas para nós, mas estavam úmidas. Já estava muito cansada para mais uma vez descer e pedir para trocar. Tive crise de ansiedade. Chorei muito pois o que era para ser mais uma noite agradável no Algarve, se tornou uma noite de choro, demorou para acalmar. Não recomendo nem para inimigos.

Quarto muito pequeno para cama adicional. Baratas no chão, sem ar condicionado, muito barulho ouvia-se tudo.

Great location right in the heart of the old town. Getting to the beaches was a bit of a trek but, for going out at night, this place rules. Also, the beds were very soft and comfortable. Overall, it is a solid value for the money!

No AC which I knew going in but, if you book during July/August, know that it will be hot inside and outside. Also, there is a shared bathroom on each floor, which was also disclosed but, there were 3 other rooms using the one bathroom on the floor so, I had to wait multiple times to use it. Not a huge deal although it got dirty quickly from the high traffic.

We really liked that the place was clean and cozy.

It was very hot, and the rooms didn’t have air conditioning—only fans, which weren’t enough to keep the rooms cool. Also, getting to the accommodation required driving through very narrow streets, which was quite stressful.

we were in the pineapple room at the very top of the building. there was a balcony right outside which was lovely to watch the sunset and watch everyone go by was truly lovely. in a very central busy area, around lots of great restaurants and shops. the breakfast is wonderful, it’s not much but it’s enough. the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and very well maintained. the entire place was clean.

there is no lift so would not recommend to anyone with a disability or that has troubles with getting up and down flights of stairs as it’s a very steep building so the stairs are quite steep.

Subimos três lances de escadas sem nenhuma ajuda . O quarto é minúsculo. Um ventilador super barulhento . Não vale o preço . Sem contar que: Gostaria de registrar uma reclamação sobre a forma como as nossas malas foram armazenadas após o check-out. Quando voltamos para buscá-las, encontramos as malas colocadas embaixo de sacos de lixo, o que fez com que ficassem com um cheiro muito forte e sujassem as nossas roupas. Ficamos bastante decepcionados com essa situação, pois confiamos que a bagagem seria guardada em um local limpo e apropriado. Esperávamos um cuidado maior com os pertences dos hóspedes.

A acomodação é realmente muito bem localizada, bem no centro histórico da cidade. Além disso, tivemos provavelmente as duas melhores noites de sono em meses! A cama e os travesseiros são mega confortáveis e estavam muito bem limpinho. O quarto é clarinho, organizado e bem arejado. Apesar de parecer cheio, sequer ouvimos os outros hóspedes e o banheiro compartilhado estava sempre bem organizado, com uma limpeza diária. O café da manhã também foi muito gostoso, com opção de tosta mista, ovos mexidos ou cereal. Espero voltar! :)

Super gehorig, geen schone gedeelde badkamer, erg kleine kamer, geen airconditioning, gasten die om 2.30u s nachts gingen douchen. Ontbijt heel karig en ook niet meer te bestellen dan uit het menu, zie foto. Absoluut een domper voor mij aan bet einds van de trail. Lag vers fruit klaar, maar was al verrot, keuken ook niet schoon. Nooit meer!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr hellhörig. Die Zimmernachbarn haben mitten in der Nacht geduscht und sich angeregt unterhalten…

Shared bathroom was very messy at times not the accom' provider's fault other guests were inconsiderate. Would have good to have a hot water jug and cup to make tea. Would have been good to have a single sheet on bed as it was too hot for a quilt cover only.

Ambiente calmo, simples mas agradável. Quarto impecável, com acessórios relevantes. (a ventoinha era espetacular). O pequeno almoço, apesar de pouca variedade estava muito bom e pelo preço é justo.

Não houve receção, nem contacto com os funcionários. nesse aspeto poderia ter sido melhor. A casa de banho partilhada estava muitas vezes suja, molhada e desorganizada.

Ubytování má perfektní polohu, pár kroků a jste v centru. Pokoj byl čistý, koupelna také čistá s dostatkem ručníku a toaletních potřeb. Nemusíte nosit klíče, všude jsou elektronické kliky na kód. Snídaně dole v restauraci. Všude bylo čisto a voňavo.

Na pokoji bohužel není klimatizace. Byla jsem tady v květnu, takže to nevadilo, ale v létě to může být velký problém.

Very poor breakfast

The Korean Staff is very kind, soft spoken and bring a genuine source of hospitality. I particularly appreciated them providing free tap water—a simple but vital sustainable practice that is actually required by Portuguese law (Lei n.º 52/2021). Having a full-service restaurant on the ground floor makes breakfast very convenient, and the in-room kitchenette was quite handy. The shared bathroom is cleaned every morning, and the location is perfect: a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of Old Town Lagos.

The breakfast is a set menu rather than a buffet, and the options are quite limited (eggs, toast, juice). It would be great to see healthier additions like vegetables, avocado, tomato, and/or gluten-free corn tortillas, even for a small up-charge. Regarding the room, there is no desk - such as for laptop use. I noticed small gnats and drain flys hovering around. The shared bathroom (shared with three other rooms) has plumbing issues; the shower heads and hoses leak, and the door seals are ineffective, causing water to pool on the floor. Finally, the restaurant has an 8€ credit card minimum. This is very inconvenient for hotel guests and feels outdated when most local cafes and transport services allow small digital payments for a single coffee or ticket. Please make these changes and you will become a 10 overnight. Thank you.

I loved everything about this stay. The room was lovely and the location was absolutely perfect.

From the moment we got there it smelled of cigarette smoke in the hallways. I didn’t ask if it was a non-smoking facility, so that’s on me. Can’t imagine why in 2026 anyone would allow smoking in their facility. The room listing on Booking.com mentioned soundproofed walls-Our room was next to the shared bathroom and we heard shower door banging from people until 1:30am one night. There was a big (2’x4’)glass panel in our bathroom up above the shower stall that was between the shared bathroom and our bathroom. Everytime a person went into the shared bathroom our bathroom lighted up. Our reservation stated that there was a tea/coffee maker in our room, but there was none. When we asked for one, we were told they did not have any. The terrace listed as part of our room was a shared rooftop terrace one level up above us. Not a big deal, but misleading to list it as if it is attached to your bedroom.

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist super! Was aber auch bedingt, das es abends länger dauert bis wirklich Ruhe ist. Die Sänger in der Altstadt mach gegen 21:30 Uhr Feierabend. Es hat uns gut gefallen und das Frühstück war auch ausreichend. Nette Leute hier. Würde definitiv wieder kommen.

All was good, just the water could be more warm in the shower and more selection of breakfast

Beds were real cozy. Had the corner room which had two windows. Absolutely friggen loved having two windows. Location is also stellar - so long as youre ok being in a loud downtown environment

One bathroom for about 5-6 rooms is a little annoying. But suck it up youre fine. Best to shower in pairs. The comped breakfast makes up for it.
