Very good bed, l slept very well, good privacy, room for just two persons, excellent bathroom and rooftop. Close to everything. Very nice stuff! And I had the best roommate possible!

Lo que me gustó más del hostal es el trato del equipo, el hecho de que claramente había voluntad de que estuviera cómoda yo y el resto de huéspedes. Estaban haciendo mejoras en el hotel, la limpieza era impecable, aunque las instalaciones son antigüas. Estuve en la habitación compartida femenina, con el baño integrado y la verdad es que fue genial.

Tengo que reconocer que la calle en la que está ubicada me impactó, porque no estoy acostumbrada a Varanasi, pero la verdad es que es muy céntrico. Creo que todo aquello que me resultó más incomodo Aman lo está arreglando así que dejaré que sean los siguientes huéspedes que lo valoren.

The location is great near to the river

The stay was compact, rooms were compact, and the people there don't know the basics of how to attend to someone.

저렴한 가격에 좋은 시설, 훌륭한 위치가 좋음. 직원들도 매우 친절하여 계속해서 불편한 게 없는지 물어봐줌. 이 가격으로 에어컨이 나오는 숙소는 구할 수 없을 것 같음.

Good location, friendly staff that helped pick me up so I didnt have to walk in the heat and also helped with our bags to the main street when we left as we were sick. 4 bed dorm has AC and comfy beds, closed balcony to hang clothes without monkeys taking!

Great location, great view of the Ganges and rooftops of Varanasi from the room, great neighborhood for relaxing and spending time at the Ghats.

No place to hang stuff. A few wall hooks and a towel rack would be very helpful

I really happy that m'y short ile in Varanasi and it because i had a good guide (managerr of hostel ) for understand de culture a the story and feeling safe. Thanks you so much at staff of Monalisa for caring and sharing. It was great moment and i recommanding close êtes this hostel ! Emplacement perfect and proprely same. We can feel the good energy for this expérience in Varanasi.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always ready to help with anything, going out of their way to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Truly thoughtful and attentive — I felt very well taken care of.

Location is at prime center, ghats is less than 5 min walk. Nearby cafes, restaurants, local shops. Rooftop has amazing view of Ganga river. Staff are kind and available for anything, can offer boat tour on the river and help with booking transportation.

Bathroom can use a little updating as building is a bit old but still clean.

ガートから歩いて数分なので立地は良い。 スタッフが優しく、深夜のチェックアウトにも対応してもらえたことです。 宿の近くの道に看板がいくつもあったので、迷うことなく宿まで辿り着くことができました。

偶然だと思いますが、滞在2日目からお湯が出なかったこと。

スタッフがみんな明るくてアットホームな雰囲気が大好きです！20代女性ですが、安心して宿泊できます。

Good property it is near to the ghats and area where hostel is located is most happening

Mona Lisa felt like a home away from home. I have been to Kashi multiple times but stay wise enjoyed this one the most. The location is also perfect. I was traveling solo this time & with Aman & Sunny (care takers), I instantly felt a sense of trust & being taken care of. Its very friendly on the pocket also.

I had a great experience staying at this hostel in Varanasi. It is located very close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, and the Ganga Aarti takes place just about 100 meters away, which makes it extremely convenient for visitors. Most of the famous cafés are nearby, and the Vishwanath Temple is also within walking distance. In fact, almost all important places are easily reachable on foot. The view of the Ganga from the rooftop is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff behavior was very friendly and supportive. I would always recommend this place to anyone visiting Varanasi — you should definitely stay here at least once.

Old building renewed in the heart of the town, facilities very clean (nobody use shoes and they clean the shared rooms everyday), the guys are super cool and helpful, there is a roof for relaxing during the night and view of the river. It’s close to tea & coffee shop, restaurant and the main avenue.

Credit cards are not accepted.

Such a special place. From the first moment it feels like home, the staff is very kind and humble, it’s cozy and they have a great rooftop for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I will definitely come back. Thank you for everything. Milte!

Cleanliness is the biggest concern. I won't suggest this stay to any female solo traveller. The room was very small... Enough for 1 person though there was a bunk bed. Washroom could have been cleaned.

צוות מהמם, עם המלצות טובות שרוצים שתחווה את הטיול בצורה הטובה ביותר, מיקום מעולה ונעים.

הכניסה להוסטל עוברת בסמטה חשוכה, מתרגלים וזה בסדר. כשהיינו בעיר ירד גשם וכל החדר הוצף, יצאנו מורנאסי עם תיקים רטובים ובגדים מסריחים ממים וזה היה מבאס.

ドミトリーに滞在しましたが、快適でした。冷房も良く効き、効き過ぎているくらいですが、毛布もあるので問題ないです。 立地もとでも良かったです。 主要なガートも近くにあり、周りには飲食店、水や生活用品が買える商店等もあり便利でした。 スタッフも素晴らしかったです。

チェックイン時間よりも早めについたのですが、荷物を置かせて貰いました！また、チェックアウト後もソファーで電車の時間まで居させて頂きました！ 私は今回ドミトリーに泊まりました。 エアコンも充分に聞いており、布団も毛布もあり快適でした。Wi-Fi速度も充分です

トイレの座るところのネジがなく、トイレをする時不便に感じました。

La ubicación lo mejor...está en todo el centro! La habitación básica...con lo justo necesario..no faltaba pero tampoco sobraba...es un sitio económico para 2-3 noches

Overall I had a pleasant stay. As a solo woman I felt very safe and it's good value for money. The two owners are very kind, respectful and helpful with everything you need. The size of the bunk bed was bigger than usual l, making the single bed very cozy and comfortable. The female dorm I stayed in is a little bit small which only is for 2 people, so If no one is there you basically have a private room. You can have a very nice view from the rooftop and the location is top, everything is a walkable distance and the area is also very safe to walk around, I would recommend it for solo travelers, especially solo women around India.

There was no hot water working at that moment in the bathroom attached to the room, but they kindly provided me with a kattle. I would improve the cleanliness in the shared areas.

The hostel staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist with any request

The stairs were decorated well. They didn't allow to wear footwear inside which keep it clean. It was an average room with bare minimum cleanliness.

AC was not working properly, I had to switch it on and off multiple times at night to atleast get the fan working. Even though I asked them to do something with the AC they didn't do it. Room was small and the water was collected inside when it rained. Food was not at all good. The location is terrible if you come at night. No parking facilities (for bike) or even space provided or facilitated by the staff although it was promised before arrival. Overall it was not worth the amount paid.

Location and the facilities

This was my second time staying at Monalisa Hostel, and once again it felt like home. I stayed for 4 nights as a solo traveler and had a peaceful, comfortable experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the location is perfect for exploring Varanasi. Everything was clean and well-maintained. A great place for solo travelers!
