We have booked for 2 night and we stayed just for few hours in night and left early morning. 1. When we reached late at night someone was already slept on our bed. And we have been told to take another bed. 2. It was very noisy and washrooms were very small.

The water was brown in colour. No mat for bathroom. The bathroom entrance was always wet. You need to walk on water if it rains to reach the room. Being this far from nearest food places . Supposed to provide basic breakfast when they charge so much.

Reviewed Nov 20, 2025Love the property. Great location. Staff were helpful and Corporative whenever you asked for their assistance for anything. Kayaking is lovely. Must try at sunset. The swimming pool is great; overlooking the lake. Live band on the weekend also got the energy going. Sun bed was so peaceful and chill. Ample places to just chill and relax. The calm and serene vibes are definitely worth going back for. Overall, it was a calm, peaceful and lovely experience.
Only requests - Doom beds could have curtains. While food pricing matches the same prices as a Mumbai restaurant, the variety could be better. Maybe offer smaller plates for the solo traveller special at a subsidized rate. The portions of one plate (apart from thai curry rice) were quite large for one person. The continental dishes were quite pricey. Maybe offer smaller plates as an additional option as well at a different rate. Could have more starter options. Thai curry rice was yum!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025The property was in the best location and had huge space to chill out and spend the day. The room were good and the washrooms were clean. There were multiple points in property itself to sit and relax. The game zone was amazing and the outdoor sitting was the key attraction. The canteen was quite big and had workstation as well. The menu had so many varieties and i must say each and every other dish will surprise you with the taste.

ONLY ONE THING WAS VERY MUCH BOTHERING , WHENEVER YOU ORDER THE FOOD , THEY WANT IMMEDIATE PAYMENT , WE ORDERED LUNCH IN ROOM , PAYMENT WAS DONE THROUGH GPAY , EVEN THOUGH AFTER THESE THE CAFE PERSON CALLED ON LANDLINE AT 12 PM IN THE NIGHT , AS THEY WANTED PIC OF THE GPAY TO MAKE SURE PAYMENT WAS DONE , I MEAN THESE COULD HAVE BEEN CLEARED OUT IN THE MORNING , WHAT IS THE NNED TO CALL AT 12 IN THE NIGHT FOR THESE . THESE WAS VERY DIS APPOINTING .

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025Overhyped & Poorly Maintained – Avoid! I had high expectations from Zostel Plus Lonavala, but my experience was extremely disappointing. 1. Rooms & Cleanliness: The room was dirty and unkempt, with insects and even a lizard inside. It was clear that housekeeping is not a priority here. 2. Outdoor Seating: The common areas were unhygienic, with dust and unclean seating arrangements. Not at all what you expect from a premium hostel. 3. Staff & Service: The place is severely understaffed, making it difficult to get even basic requests fulfilled. Waiting for assistance felt like a waste of time. 4. Overall Experience: The property looks good in pictures, but the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and maintenance issues make it not worth the price. Would not recommend unless management seriously improves their service and hygiene standards. Better alternatives are available in Lonavala for the same price!

Reviewed Feb 2, 2025The location is definitely good, it's right beside Pawna lake. The property has everything inside - games zone, restaurant, swimming pool so no need to get out. It's more like a resort than a hostel. The staff was nice and accommodating.
Check in at any time disturbs people staying already in dorm rooms. Group of 4-5 people should not be allowed to stay in dorms, that dissolves the whole purpose of a dorm. We stayed for 3 nights and each time three different groups came in and disturbed our sleep. One girl even asked if my friend can sleep on the upper bed and she can sleep on her lower bed, while she was already asleep. People in groups make a lot of noise and disturb other people in dorms. Mixed dorms should have curtains for more privacy. People using washrooms should keep them clean. That's the basic decency. Food and alcohol is expensive in their in house restaurant considering there is no other option closeby, the prices should be budget friendly. Overall an average experience.

The female dorms were spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options. But what truly made my stay stand out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure I felt safe and at ease throughout my stay. As a solo female traveler, I'm often cautious about where I stay, but Zostel Plus Lonavala truly felt like a home away from home. Highly, highly recommended!
2 Points. 1. Add more of South Indian dishes to the menu. Specially for the breakfast. 2. Please repair internal road from the main gate to the entry gate.
