Las camas son muy cómodas y hay varias duchas y baños. La zona de bar es muy amplia y agradable para estar. La cocina está bien, cené y desayuné y todo estaba rico. Si vuelvo a Port Barton, me volveré a quedar aquí.

ממליצה ממש על ההוסטל הזה בפוראט ברטון! הצוות ממש חברותי ועוזר בכל מה שצריך- תמיד באנרגיה טובה ההוסטל הזה חברותי מאוד, כל ערב יש פעילויות, מוזיקה ואווירה ואפילו צייסרים בחינם קיבלתי את החדר לפני השעה של הצ׳ק אין החדר היה נקי- כל כמה שעות היה ניקיון - מאוד מקפידים על זה פה המיטה נוחה והאוכל במסעדה ממש טוב יש אחלה המבורגרים

The beds were very comfortable and felt very private, the food was amazing, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming and it was so close to the beach!! Do the boat trip if you stay!!

Loved everything

had such an amazing stay at Coco Rico Hostel in Port Barton! From day one, the team was incredibly accommodating and made everything feel effortless. Big kudos to Ram at the Reception for patiently answering all my questions, and to Peter and France for serving such delicious food during the boat tour -- definitely one of the highlights! Did it twice 😂 Special thanks as well to Tegan and Annie for the warm welcome (and the drinks!) that captured the fun, vibrant Cocorico Vibe. What more can I say? It was a smooth sailing all the way. Huge appreciation to the entire staff for making this trip so memorable. Keep it up -- I'll definitely he booking my next trip with Cocorico again!

It’s expensive for what you get, especially since there’s no electricity half of the day (I know it’s out of their hand but they should adjust the price), the restaurant is expensive as well. There’s literally no wifi nor internet connection in the room, so it’s not possible to get any text/call or just relax in the room. Also I thought that the bathrooms could’ve been more clean.

The thing that I like the most about this hostel is that all the employees are very approachable, polite, and helpful, especially Ralph or Raph, if I remember his name correctly, who helped me get a tuk-tuk to explore the rest of the tourist spots of Barton and San Vicente. Also, the hostel is very convenient for almost anything. My last night here was pretty awesome because there was a Cinco De Mayo event, and I met my fellow Filipina travelers too. If ever I had the chance to visit Barton again, I'd probably stay in this hostel.

There's no water heater, and when I accidentally pulled up the sink strainer or basket strainer because the water wasn't flowing properly, there was black, slimy dirt underneath it. Also, they need to put a fan inside the room so the coldness of the AC will spread all over the room. Since every bunk bed has a curtain, when you close the curtains, it's not that cold anymore.

Staff were nice and helpful, hostel is very social so good vibes. Food there was also nice. Bed was comfortable and good locker space.

The showers were fine but cold, and the bathrooms were not very clean in the mornings (sick on the toilets and other bodily fluids on the floor) but I understand it’s a party hostel and this is bound to happen but I’m an early riser so witnessed some scenes…so do with that info what you will. I did see the cleaners a lot though so was rectified pretty quickly. There was one shower/ toilet in the room which I don’t think was well ventilated and was not super clean. Honestly recommend staying elsewhere and going to this hostel for socialising.

Está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la playa, restaurantes... la cama es grande y tiene luz, enchufe y cortina. Durante las noches se hacían fiesta y era siempre divertido poder salir y estar al lado de la cama. Además, quiero resaltar el buen trato del personal, ya que un día tuvimos un problema con la furgoneta que nos tenía que recoger y nos ayudaron muchísimo.

En la habitación hay muchas personas a la vez, por lo que es un poco incómodo a la hora de sacar las maletas de las taquillas si hay más personas al mismo tiempo.

Ontbijt was erg lekker, keuze uit Filipijnse gerechten maar ook andere opties. Personeel was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je moet wel echt van feesten houden, vooral in het weekend kan de muziek echt hard en redelijk laat doorgaan. De eerste nacht met me jetlag was het minder de volgende dagen lekker mee gefeest! Je kan ook scooter verhuur bij ze via hun vaste partner regelen.

Eigenlijk niks, is een goed hostel wat centraal gelegen is.

Good bed layout. I like it better than the usual bunk beds in hostels. It lessens the noise a bit more. Lots of great food and drink options as well with big serving size.

I wish there were more hanging spots.

Free drinks, comfortable bed and very nice people 💗 It's near the beach and everything else is accessible around it.

Me cuesta encontrar algo que me gustó, pero la ubicación no estaba mal

La atención que recibimos fue pésima, nos hablaron mal nada más llegar y no nos hacían caso, lo único que querían es que hiciéramos el pago rápido antes de que nos diéramos cuenta del horrible lugar. Es surrealista lo fría que estaba la habitación, intentamos bajar un poco el aire y rápido venía alguien a subirlo, lo tenían a 10 grados. Si lo que quieres es dormir congelado este es tu lugar, pero no tiene sentido que afuera haga 40 grados y dentro sensación térmica de -10. Preferimos gastarnos más dinero y pagar otro hostel que estaba mucho mejor y encima fue más barato. Además, la “fiesta” de este hostel fue nula, nadie animaba el ambiente, acabó prontísimo y nos apagaron todas las luces incluso echándonos del hostel sin preguntar si éramos clientes o no, no tiene ningún sentido las veces que nos cuestionaban si estábamos durmiendo ahí. En resumen: horrible. De verdad que hay muchos mejores por la zona e incluso con habitación privada.

Nice hostel in the heart of little Port Barton. Friendly staff and nice and clean dorms and toilets. Restaurant was very good for breakfast. Had a good social vibe to it with a lot of friendly people. Even though there's a lot of partying going on every night you don't really hear the noise inside the dorms.

There isn't really a good chill-out-spot, rather the only place to socialize is the restaurant area. It'd be nice to have some other type of area where one can hang out.

Das Zimmer ist hinter dem Hostel Restaurant und es gibt leider keine eigene "Chill bereich", wie wir es aus anderen Hostels gewohnt sind (im Restaurant muss man nach den Öffnungszeiten verlassen und im Zimmer ist kein Platz). Im Schlafzimmer gibt es kein Fenster und die Klimaanlage ist extrem kalt eingestellt. Es gibt ein extra Badezimmer, die restlichen teilt man sich mit den Restaurantgästen.

- Salle de bain commune très salles, 18 lits dans mon dortoir et seulement 1 douche en service, et 0 toilettes, il fallait traversé le bar restaurant pour aller au toilettes public du restaurant qui n’étais pas hyper propre non plus et hors service pour certain jour, donc il faut trouver des toilettes ailleurs - Douche avec eau glaciale, eau froide certe je m’y attendait mais là c’est vraiment très froid et zéro pression la moitié du pommeau de douche sortait de l’eau - Toilettes souvent bouché, les portes des douches qui ne se ferment pas à clefs et étendage des affaires dehors, pas forcément de toit pour protéger, un coup de pluie et tout est re trempé - Concernant le dortoir énormément de jeunes (pareil que moi) mais IRRESPECTUEUX !!! aucune règle n’est imposé par le personnel et aucun savoir vivre des jeunes ! ils rentrent complètement bourré dans les dortoirs ! crient et chantent à 00h, le matin à 6h pareil un boucan pas possible !!! un enfer - Concernant le bar restaurant qui donne direct sur les dortoirs… bof le personnel indique qu’à 22h la musique est coupé et 23h tous le monde parti… et en réalité a 23h30 la musique était toujours là… - EXCURSION !!! l’hostel propose une excusions de 5 spot tout en faisant un minimum la fête ! Plus cher que tous les autres tours proposé à Port Barton tout ça parce que alcool à volonté, cependant l’hostel dis qu’ils annuleraient en cas de mauvais temps alors qu’ils l’ont maintenu sous une journée entière de pluie NON STOP ! 3 spot vu sur 5 prévus et les jeunes encore une fois ne savent pas se contrôler avec l’alcool ! 1 coma éthylique, 3 personnes complètement bourrées à vomir DANS le bateau un enfer sur terre personne ne respecte rien c’est un vrai scandale, le personnel à bord du bateau insiste à continuer à donner à boire dans l’eau !! alors que les personnes sont dans un salles état ! aucune conscience et très dangereux

Great hostel to stay in, very clean and staff is extremely nice! Free drinks from 7 to 7.30 and live music performance! The food is delicious but expensive compared to the surroundings.

It’s usually clean and there are free drinks every day. It’s a party hostel so you will enjoy only if you are in a party mood.

To many people in one room. The ac was not on in both extremes of the room so was bit situating in the morning

Everything was great, both the service and the food is really good, and we still have a great time.

Showers and bathrooms are outside, which makes you get wet if it rains, even to brush your teeth. Also the electricity plug is not the very best.

The staff is so friendly and they always trying to include you in the activities, even is a party hostel, you can sleep very well (after 10.30 pm is so quiet )

Good location

Bathrooms weren’t very clean, clear hair/ build up in drains, I understand this is a “party hostel” but the guests weren’t considerate at all - this is not the hostels fault but something to note. The dorm is also right next to the music that plays till 11 and is not sound proof in the slightest.

Staff were so helpful and kind helped me book my onward travels. Ram especially was very helpful. Good location and nice vibe and food. Clean and big bathroom.

Noise from the bar is loud and understandable as it’s a party hostel, however noise inside dormitories is extremely loud as other travelers do not respect noise levels. Needs to have signs in dorms to emphasise dorms are for sleeping not shouting.

Had a fantastic stay at CocoRico Hostel! 🎉 The boat party is indeed a special treat, despite of the low season, and the organizers still made it lively! A big shoutout to Janyl, Peter, and the Volunteer one 🇮🇱 for their warm hospitality — they truly go above and beyond to make others feel welcome at home! Great atmosphere. Tasty food. Boat party tour was so fun! The staff are all nice and helpful. There's free drinks every night to all (even if you're not a guest!!). Every night there's an activity or love music. Located in the center of the town!

It is conveniently located along the road and walking distance to the beach. It has a restaurant and free drinking water. A good place to socialize and meet people. If you’re into party, this is the perfect place!

Big bags are placed outside the room. Room is small for 18 people sharing in the dormitory. Restaurant gets flooded when raining heavy or all day. No lounge or common area to relax except the restaurant dining tables and chairs.

The place to be in Port Barton: fun and very social, but also good for chilling and have a good night sleep (comfy beds). Staff is great: especially Roger, Janyl and Yvi!

Didn’t realise this was an infamous party hostel before coming… found out on the bus there and braced myself for carnage and chaos. But, surprisingly, had the best 2 nights sleep in a long while. Bed was super comfy. Food was good and generally a great atmosphere, even for someone who doesn’t drink! This may largely be due to getting lucky with the people staying here at that time - but you have this anywhere. Price very reasonable. Surprised me - but would defo recommend!

Best hostel in this area ! Because this hostel was booked out, I had to stay in other, very dirty and more expensive hostels. This one is for the price really good and the food is also really good.

Very nice place and clean

No hot water, they put me in an off site dorm without warning.

Had everything you need, staff spoke great English. Used the laundry service and everything came back smelling amazing and neatly folded. Communal area was great and music stopped at 11:00 so still got good nights sleep. Can’t complain about free drinks at 7

The Wi-Fi in the room was temperamental as only connected for a short while before loosing connection again. Showers could be a little more updated but overall did what it needed to

The staff at cocorico were so good to me, especially Shien who helped me with my bookings, bus and flights. Also the boat tour with Peter was amazing, made the day the best!

Great food, great location

This is definitely the best hostel on Palawan island! Great location, super friendly staff and guests. They have social events every night and put a lot of effort into their work to make your stay as good as possible. The restaurant and bar are great and not overprized. They close at 11pm and everyone is going out to the nearby bars / clubs. Also even though they have 18 bed dorms, it is really quite by night.

The staff works hard to keep the place clean.

Only one AC in the room, it was not enough to refrigerate, It got really hot in the evening.

The hostel had a great vibe to it, we were there for the Christmas party and made some amazing friends. The hostel was clean and the beds felt private, comfortable and spacious. Although it was a party hostel you can’t hear the music too much from inside the dorms

The wifi didn’t reach the dorms and the service wasn’t great so you had to go outside for wifi

Great social scene in the evenings with activities organised by the volunteers . Really good food i recommend the American breakfast or the baconsilog if you want a “more” traditional breakfast . The boat party run by coco rico is the best activity to do in Port Barton :)

Staff open my bed curtain twice with our announcing themselves. So rude as I was changing after a shower. Also the air con was so high I ended up with a sore trough

Comfy and big beds. Location is good. Everyone comes here for pre drinks even if not staying. Right in front of the beach :)

Staff were grumpy. I get it, it must be a hard job dealing with guests in a party hostel but I’m being friendly to them and not even a smile. Music was pretty rubbish but the same in all places.

There was one night when people were repairing something until 1AM. I requested if they could stop since you could hear the hammering inside the dorms, and they said no. I get that repairs are necessary, but at 1AM?

Great vibe in the hostel. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Clean and comfortable. Surprisingly not too loud for dorms with so many beds. Food and drinks were good too.

If you’re looking for a social hostel that’s the place to be in Port Barton. Free drinks for half an hour and good music all evening. If you want to sleep early it’s not for you because the dorms are really close to the bar.

I found out that the island tour (incl. drinks) they sell is almost double the price from what you can get elsewhere in town. That’s sad, we are backpackers… The airport pick up didn’t work out for me, the ordered shuttle left before the arranged time without me and I had to wait for another 2 hours.
