Lovely was absolutely lovely. Cracker of a woman. Accommodation had this great aura about it. So close to all facilities. Nice quiet town. Had the luxury of having a drink with lovely and a dance at the moon bar to finish off the night. The bar is good craic late at night. Wake in the morning with a man on a motorcycle selling cheese bread for 5 peso. Delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Leaving the place

The staff was truly nice and friendly. The view from the terrace is indeed nice, like mentioned on the other comments. Quiet during the day. One of the cheapest options in Port Barton.
super extra dirty showers and toilets - even though I saw the staff cleaning it during the day... Party until 4am, extremely small room (NO place for the luggage), no blanket (had to ask for one), no drinking water all time I was there because their supplier ran out (not usual in the Philippines)... It simply was not was I expected. It wasn't social either and I didn't meet anyone (the room is simply too small, we can't hang out there and people rarely use the terrace). Even with no party, the dorm is super noisy even when people move because it's all cracking wood... (like in the morning when everyone wakes up early). I booked in the smallest dorm but was checked in the biggest one (not sure why since the hostel wasn't full). Book here if you are sure you will party until 4am and if sleeping is not in your priorities (it was in mine as I work remote and I was expecting something more chill and quiet and clean - hence the low rating).
Nice people working here that were friendly and happy to help arrange boat tours / transport. The dorm room had very good aircon - kept cold and each bed had plenty of privacy. Each of us was given a sheet and towel. The WiFi was really great here which surprised us as we’d been told Port Barton generally doesn’t have great WiFi! The shared showers and toilets in the building outside were cleaned well every morning and were mostly kept clean
The moon bar right next-door had music starting every night from about 8pm until early morning (2-4am) which can be quite loud - a combination of live music and loud music from speakers. There is some sound proofing in these dorm rooms and we managed to mostly sleep through the noise with earplugs. If you want to stay somewhere quiet - stay somewhere the other side of town. The bed was a bit cosy for me and my friend to share - it’s more of a queen sized bed than a double but doable for a couple of nights. Should be ok for couples.
Comfortable and clean facilities. Good location. They have a bar with a nice view and food at a reasonable price. Staff from reeption and bar were really nice
Not an issue for me, but it is kind of a party hostel and they have music playing until midnight/2 am or maybe later, so bring earbuds in case you need some to sleep.
Super Comfortable Beds, Amazing View, and Great Staff! The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. The view from the place was absolutely stunning – definitely one of the highlights of my stay. On top of that, the staff were amazing – so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Highly recommend!
The beds were huge, nice privacy, good location, offers tours and scooters etc..
Nothing to complain about
Very new hostel in Port Barton. Great view from the terrace. Very friendly owner and staff. Beds are massive
Even though the beds are very big, the room is quite tight. A bit far from everything
This hostel was located a short 5-10 minute walk from the main part of town, on top of a hill with a great view of the ocean. The facility was very clean and the hosts were very helpful with anything we needed. The hostel did have a bar on site which made it easy to get a late night drink with music playing. The bar was not very busy while we were there but they did mention they often throw parties there. One important note about this hostel is there is a little hill you have to walk up to reach the property which was not an issue for my group, but just keep this in mind for when you arrive as if you have a lot of luggage you may want to take a tuk-tuk from the van station.
Nothing
Really nice and cosy newly opened hostel. Beds are very spacious (bigger than 1 size), curtains gives a lot of privacy and it's completely dark for good sleep. The view is amazing and host knows everything I might want to know about Port Barton. And for this price, it might be just the best place to stay in Port Barton.
