Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Excellent location, 5 minute walk from the Coach station and right next to all the day trip buses. Great facility, felt very safe and secure. I appreciated that you had to use your key card to access the hallway to the rooms and they even had a night porter on duty. There is a spacious trunk under the beds for belongings. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels! I also liked the encouragements to be eco-conscious.

The hostel itself has a nice vibe to it, with a good mix of families and student-type travellers. The location is excellent for seeing the city. Breakfast was simple (bread or porridge) but plentiful. Parking worked very well.
The bunk beds are a little on the small side if you are travelling with larger than normal kids. Our son is 1,90m and the bed was quite a squeeze for him. You're in the middle of the city, so if the windows are open it's quite noisy, but with closed widows you hear hardly anything.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Stayed for two days on the weekend. Comfortable and quiet. Curtains on beds is nice. Lockers underneath big enough for plenty of stuff. Sink being separate from the ensuite bathroom is nice in case someone is using the toilet/shower. Great kitchen facilities and plenty of fridges for food. Definitely operates more like a hotel given the vibe but not a big deal.
This is minor but good to know. There’s no fan in the ensuite bathroom so if anyone takes a shower and leaves the door open after, all the humidity escapes into the room making it really stuffy. There’s only a small window in the room so it can take awhile to cool down. This would probably be major issue in summer. Wifi was spotty. 100 euro/night for the weekend is crazy for a hostel bed, but what can ya do when there’s tons of events happening

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker (Kontiental Breakfast). Kaffee gab es satt, nachmittags gab es einen Nachmittagskaffee mit Keksen. Insgesamt sehr freundliche Atmosphäre und auch sehr sauber. Es wird stündlich geputzt.
Der Preis ist mit fast 70€/Nacht im 6 Bettzimmer schon stolz.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Hostel molt cèntric ideal per famílies perquè l'habitació és molt còmode, i a més, hi ha molts serveis com cuina, espais en comú per poder menjar i jugar. A més, l'esmorzar inclòs és molt complert i està molt bo. El personal és molt amable i hem estat molt a gust :)
Tot perfecte, però no hi ha parking gratuït. Si vens amb cotxe, és millor aparcar-ho al parking que tenen associat amb descompte que es diu Q-Park Eyre Square, ja que hi ha molt transit al centre. Abans de l'arribada t'envien un missatge amb el codi de descompte per poder-ho reservar.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Very clean, hostel has a good vibe and staff is very friendly. You can book tours over the hostel and you get a slight discount. Out of all the hostels I stayed in during my Ireland trip, this was by far the best.
