Great location!

The showers and toilets are too small to change in. The 6 bed mixed dorms beds need an upgrade, very squeaky and you feel every move from the person above you.

La chambre et les parties communes pour se restaurer étaient très sombres.

C’était très bien localisé, en plein centre de Canmore et donc accessibilité rapide à presque tout : - les pistes d randonnes dans la vielles - les commencées et supermarché - les navettes pour le Grassy Lake - les transports pour connections aux autres villes

The beds were comfy with privacy blinds and a personal light for each one. Located right in the centre of Canmore with easy walking access to anything from shops to trails, public transport or parks in the area.

Just the general noise of other patrons in the morning and of a night time BUT private room options are available.

The restrooms were hardly clean, the kitchen was an open setting really close to the bedrooms so there was always smell of food everywhere

Die Lage ist sehr gut - das ist aber auch das einzig positive.

Es ist sehr laut, auch wenn keine Musik gespielt wird. Die Zimmer sind klein und echt billig ausgestattet. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren bei Ankunft sauber, wurden dann aber auch nicht mehr gereinigt. Die Küche war einfach nur ekelig. Echt unverschämtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Proche du parc national

Cher, mais bon rapport qualité/prix par rapport au reste de l'offre d'hébergement aux alentours du parc national. Par contre bar et restaurant avec DJ et groupes de musique le week end, le bruit peut empêcher de dormir.

I did book a mixed dorm (all that was available) but was a bit uncomfortable when put in a room with all men. It was okay, just a bit weird feeling.

La nostra habitacio era just davant les zones comunes i no tots els hostes eren respectuosos amb el silenci. Se sent molt la musica del bar a sota pero aixo ja ho sabiem i es ok.

Great Location, Friendly Staff

The staff were absolutely lovely, but unfortunately, the room was not a comfortable stay. The bunk bed squeaked, the walls were so thin that we could hear people walking through the hallway, and the AC was about the size of a shoebox for a room with 6 people. 😅 We ended up leaving a night early because we were exhausted from not being able to sleep. We knew we were staying in a shared room and came prepared with earplugs, but unfortunately, it still wasn’t enough. If sleep is important to you, RUN. 😂

Location is brilliant. Just outside bus stop along with Main Street and town centre.

Bem localizado, quarto era confortável. Num geral era limpo e apesar de nao tem recepção, tinha um funcionário muito solícito. O bar não chegou a incomodar mesmo sendo uma noite de sábado.

Embora tenha sido a melhor opcao que achei por esse valor, ainda assim era bem caro. Também fiquei num quarto próximo a cozinha e há muito barulho desde cedo pela manhã, o que faz você acordar bem cedo.

Chambre confortable et de bons services. Le check-in se fait en appelant un numéro de téléphone, pas très pratique quand on a un numéro étranger, heureusement après 5 minutes à essayer de trouver une autre solution un employé est venu nous ouvrir pour le check in, merci à lui et à sa bienveillance. La climatisation fonctionne étrangement, pendant la soirée et le début de nuit il fait trop chaud (25°C) et le matin au réveil il fait trop froid (18°C) elle est malheureusement impossible à modifier car centralisée, on ne peux que la subir. Étant dans une chambre à proximité direct de la cuisine commune et de l'escalier j'ai eut droit aux passage incessant des couches tard et des lèves tôt, la règle de ne plus utiliser la cuisine après 23h est globalement respecter, cependant il serait intéressant de mettre aussi un horraire pour commencer à utiliser la cuisine (certaines personnes ont préparé leur midi avant de partir vers 4 heures du matin). Ce qui est bien plus dérangeant que la bar au rez de chaussée (qui ferme vers 2h00) Un gros point noir est le stationnement à Canmore, ce n'est pas du ressort de l'hôtel mais ce sont des sacré arnaqueur la municipalité...

Everything... They don't allow shoes inside so you either have your own sleepers or you have to use a one size for all Chinese thin foam sleepers. There are no windows. The room I had required me to cross the kitchen and common areas to take a shower and do washroom stuff. The beds have the cheapest, and I mean the cheapest, mattress that exists, you can feel the metal springs on your back. The bedrooms don't have ANY windows it's always damp and completely dark, the beds have a curtain that was all damaged and didn't worked properly, the electric set up is DANGEROUS and not at all up to fire code.. we have one outlet where 5 different extension cords are connected with an extreme fire hazard. The shower stalls are EXTREMELY small you can barely move, the shower heads were moldy, there was hair everywhere. There is no staff anywhere, you have to call and then someone on plain clothes comes out of the bar to talk to you, he is never there. Overall this place is as expensive as a regular hotel but they offer horrible beds and bedroom, washrooms, showers, the sleepers are flimsy and cheap. I'll never stay there EVER.

Great place for solo bag packers, meeting nrw people, and making new friends. The property's location is an absolute USP. The location the vibe, the service and the staff all together deserve 10/10. Looking forward to go there again.

ロケーションが抜群。周囲に飲食店やお土産屋、グロサリーストアなどあり、徒歩で街の見学や買い物が出来ます。プライベートパスルーム付きの個室に泊まりましたが、他の宿泊施設と比べ、相対的に料金を抑えて泊まる事ができました。寝室にテレビや冷蔵庫、クローゼットなどあり便利です。 スタッフも親切、チェックイン・チェックアウトはシンプル、事前の案内もメールで定期的に入り安心感。 建物は古い感じがしましたが、ホステルなので、ホテルのような期待をしなければ問題ありません。この時期のバンフやキャンモアの宿泊料は高いですから、それを考えればお得感があります。

下にパブがあるので、大きい音量のライブが聞こえてくる事がありましたが、事前に説明されていたので驚きはありませんでした。寝る頃には静かになっています。ただ早く寝る人や音に敏感な人は留意した方が良いですね。 備え付けの駐車場はスペースが限られており使えませんでしたが、すぐ近くの公共駐車場が8pm-8amに無料で利用でき、私たちはこの時間帯でパーキングの利用が問題なかったので、不便はなかったです。

We stayed at the dorm and rented private room #6. Room #6 is adjacent to a bar/club so you will experience noise at night (esspecially on Friday and Saturday nights). But it also right beside the kitchen so you will hear people cooking and having conversations, as there's no other place to socialize except for kitchen unfortunately, so be prepared to use ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me. Size of the room is very small too. Barely space to lay open your luggage bags. But it's conveniently located right beside female washroom. Both dorm and private rooms have lockers. Private rooms also have smaaaaaal fan, heater, TV, head lamp, microwave, and relative big fridge. Hostel has 2 big fridges, all the utensils and cookware that you need for cooking. They also have water filters - which means you can drink their tap water. Shower always have body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner. They also provide you with towels. Location: extremely beautiful, surrounded by mountains and right in the heart of the Canmore.

The location of this hostel is excellent and makes it easy to explore the area.

The hostel is located on the second floor and access is via a long flight of stairs, which can be challenging if you’re traveling with heavy luggage. Before going upstairs, guests are required to change into the hostel’s slippers. If you book a private room, you may bring your shoes to your room, but dorm guests must leave their shoes in the designated locker area. The rooms are quite small, with limited floor space—opening two large suitcases at the same time would be difficult. While there are plenty of shared bathrooms, privacy is minimal due to the gaps in the cubicle doors, and there is only one long mirror available. The shower stalls are also very compact, with no hooks for hanging clothes and little to no space for toiletries. Parking is another consideration, as there are only a few spaces available.

The location is perfect, it’s in the city center. It’s comfy and easy access. Bathrooms and bedrooms pretty clean and comfy beds.

There’s nobody in the office, you always have to call if you need anything.

The air conditioning unit right outside our bedroom window was in poor repair and made the worst vibration noise constantly. I didn't sleep a wink on the second night. It was literally held together with tape. A little maintenance would go along way in this hostel. The kitchen air conditioning vent was loose and also vibrated terribly. It was such a shame because the bed was really comfy and the location is excellent. I didn't like having to sign a liability disclaimer after booking when my booking was non refundable. it was hardly consensual. I also didn't like that they also tell you that the hostel is noisy because they have a popular music venue below. this venue wasn't a problem to us at all, it was the horrendous noise from the poorly maintained building that bothered us.

We stayed for a couple of weeks. Staff is really friendly and helpful 🙂 Beds have curtains, which is amazing! Kitchen is a bit small but has everything you need, even a working oven and air fryer! Music from the pub downstairs can be a bit loud sometimes, but I reckon it's manageable. Overall we had a really nice stay.

Being required to change into sandals to go to the rooms was odd. They were in a bin of sandles of no discernible size which made carrying luggage up a flight of stairs challenging and almost caused an accident when my SO lost her footing on the stairs

Ottima la posizione nel centro della carinissima Canmore. Il rumore del pub sottostante, di cui vieni prontamente e ripetutamente avvisato durante la prenotazione, è sopportabilissimo. La camera matrimoniale da noi prenotata era piccolina, ma con al suo interno un frigo, un microonde e una televisione. Nota positivissima il letto, super confortevole. Il parcheggio riservato all'hotel era tutto pieno, ecco, magari dire alla gente di non prendersi due parcheggi a testa sarebbe una cosa carina e permetterebbe a più persone di parcheggiarsi tranquillamente. Comunque dalle 8pm alle 8am si può parcheggiare in strada senza pagare nulla.

Everything else tbh the infrastructure is aged and not soundproof - There was still some trash left in the drawers (rootbeer, food etc) and there is still quite a bit of dirt underneath the bed. - The window doesn’t close properly.which gives cold with -20 and the sound of the bar comes in as they party friday to sunday till 3:30AM - The door also didn't close as it is a private room - Kitchen is not fully equipped, fridge stinks, ...

The room was tidy, clean, and everything I needed for my stay. The other travellers created a great atmosphere.

There was literally no quite time. At 23:30 we had to leave the property and find another place to sleep. People were taking loudly in the common area and the noise from the bar below was also unboreable. Never would do the mistake of booking there ever again! Some heads up in the room description on what to expect would have being verry helpful!!!

Cold room, no place to put clothes, no hooks or hangers, no shelves or drawers. Extremely expensive room for a hostile, but located at the busiest point at the top of the stairs and near the busy loud kitchen. How can you charge so much money and then locate the private room near all the activity? Also no real lobby or comfortable space to sit outside of the room. No chair in the room. Prices were inflated to double because it was a long weekend. Noisy because of the music right below the kitchen which was right beside our room at night. The email about check-in was incorrect in a number of ways. It was a rainy day and we were stuck outside for a while trying to figure out how to get our luggage in. No one answered texts, the person named any email Trevor didn't even work there, the instructions about how to get in with the code and some kind of screen the door was inaccurate.
