A hospitable stuff, a great location in the center of the city, clean rooms, everything we need: slippers, shampoo, toothbrushes and ect.

The location was not precise in the booking map, so we got lost with the baggage. And there were loud building works very early in the morning near our room so we couldn't have a proper sleep.

The room was nice and clean, good bathroom, very helpful staff who spoke great English.

The bed was uncomfortable

Ze hielpen ons in te checken voor een binnenlandse vlucht die niet goed liep, belden de vliegtuigmaatschappij, checkten ons in op hun laptop. Heel dankbaar om die hulp! Praktische kamer. Uitstekende lokatie vlak aan een metrohalte en nabij het centrum van de stad.

Het zijn erg harde matrassen om op te slapen, maar als ik er iets over zei hielpen ze met extra matrasbeschermers zodat het beter sliep.

La habitación estaba sucia, no pudimos completar nuestra estancia, nos fuimos después de la primera noche. Había muchos pelos de otras personas por toda la habitación y olor a pipí en la cama. Aceptaron reembolsarnos la noche que no nos quedamos sin ningún problema

Превосходный хостел, мне очень понравился! По соотношению цена-качество идеальный, и размер моего номера меня удивил, так как я думала, что моя комната будет размером с коробку, оказался же номер очень даже большим и комфортным. Мне очень понравился персонал отеля, который помогал каждый раз, когда мне нужна была помощь, вежливые, очень дружелюбные сотрудники! Сотрудникам прямо отдельные 10 баллов даю! Уборщицы отеля убирались в номере каждый день, номер был чистый, уютный. В таком номере и на долгий срок можно останавливаться. Расположение просто наиудобнейшее, в 5 минутах ходьбы до моста Аньшунь. Я, конечно же, узнала об этом в конце поездки, не сообразила спросить даже. До самых топовых достопримечательностей рукой подать, все очень близко, в том числе второй аэропорт Ченду, до которого я доехала за 15 минут за 35 юаней. Хостел отличный. Обязательно выберу его же, когда вернусь в Ченду!

Lo staff è veramente molto gentile e aiuta gli ospiti con ogni richiesta. Inoltre vengono organizzate belle attività gratuite per esplorare la città e conoscere meglio le tradizioni locali. Per il piccolo prezzo che ha, è una cosa molto bella. La posizione è ottima proprio davanti all'entrata della metro.

La struttura purtroppo è fatiscente. Il palazzo è in ristrutturazione e l'ingresso è veramente maleodorante. Poi una volta entrati nell'ostello, il luogo è dignitoso anche se meriterebbe una rinfrescata. Richiede un po' di spirito di adattamento specialmente se non si è abituati a un ostello.

Buen tamaño de la habitación, y limpia. Organizan actividades. Estuvimos en el taller de escritura china con pincel, super divertido. Las chicas muy amables y atentas. Muy buen ambiente, siempre habia gente en la recepción, y los chicos te ayudaban en todo lo que necesitabas. El billar una gran idea. EStaba justo enfrente de la salida del metro. Podias ir andando a muchos puntos de interés turístico.

Estaban de obras en la planta de abajo, asi que los ruidos que originaban además del ascensor, que cuando lo necesitaban no tenias acceso a él.

The li action is excellent. And the price is very good too.

There is a construction going on in the building (on the fourth floor) so the entrance to the building and the elevator are much less inviting as a result. This is a temporary situation though. And I did not like the floor of the hall ways: it is uneven under the carpet, and the carpet can be updated too.

It was perfect for a stayover in chengdu - clean, tidy and very freindly staff. we also attended a calligraphy class (they had even more to offer but we sadly couldn’t take part).

Beds were super comfortable, staff were good at listening and offered support if necessary. No issues with stay although it’s slightly far from major points of interest the 100m walk to the metro is super helpful.

The location is right across a subway station, so that is very convenient. The dorm room was really modern and nice.

The room was a bit small. And one of my roommates had his stuff laid out all over the bathroom, desk etc.

The host is nice and very helpful. The location quite good and convenience since it nears an exit entrance of metro line. Tourists may learn the metro lines of Chengdu and express railways to explore the city. Special thank to the receptionists on my last trip on Chengdu for their kind guidance.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Poshpacker Chengdu! First and foremost, the staff was incredible: they gave me amazing daily recommendations, we spent a lot of time chatting, and they truly helped me connect with the local social fabric of the city. They were also super quick to help when I ran into issues with my credit card. Honestly, one of the highlights of my day was just having a coffee with them in the morning and sharing a chat. Speaking of coffee: the quality here (specifically the hot cappuccino) is top-tier. As an Italian, I can honestly say I wasn't expecting it to be this good! A special honorable mention goes to the Manager, May, who went above and beyond to make this stay an unforgettable experience. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Vicinanza alla stazione della metropolitana

The price-quality balance: for this price this is a very good offering (even if it has a few issues otherwise). Personnel is friendly, helpful and available. The hygiene is very good, clean room and bedsheets. Daily cleaning service, water, tea, towels. Location is very good: walking distance from IFS shopping district, couple hundred meters from the river and promenade, nice local neighborhood with excellent fresh produce market and great many eateries, in front of metro station (although we did not use it yet, riding Didi/Uber). Great coffee in the building, a tiny but cozy "outfit" called Aloha Camp Coffee (but opens at 12:00 only).

Due to construction work in the building the entrance and the elevator are dirty and quite damaged (after a couple of days the entrance was cleaned). Due to construction work there was quite some noise from drilling that started 8am in the morning (on our first morning after 18+ hours of traveling). The carpets in the corridor are old and look shabby. The general look and feel is less than it is conveyed by the photos on the Booking site. So, the expectations were higher and that is why we were underwhelmed. But again, for the price that we pay this is a very good offering.

Персонал хорошо разговаривает на английском языке, нет проблем с общением. Отель тихий, спокойный, народу много, не мешаем друг другу. Есть красивый ухоженный сад, беседка, где можно посидеть в тишине.

La struttura si trova esattamente di fronte alla fermata della metro. È situata al 5 piano di un palazzo con ascensore. Le camere sono abbastanza contenute ma per due persone risultano adeguate. Il letto è comodo ma ha accesso solo da un lato (l'altra persona dovrà quindi scavalcare). Offrono servizio di lavanderia per pochi yuan.

Il palazzo è in costruzione e risulta un po' trasandato. La doccia e il lavabo si trovano nella stessa area e questo risulta poco comodo, sopratutto se si è in due persone. Il bagno è separato dalla camera da dei vetri. Si possono tuttavia calare delle tendine per un po' di privacy.

Все необходимое в номере было. Персонал очень приветливый, подарили брелок в виде панды. Самое главное для меня было - метро буквально в нескольких метрах от здания гостиницы, очень удобно. Гостиница находится на 3 этаже здания, лифт есть.

Everything! The staff were so helpful and friendly, even with advice before arrival. The location is amazing, great local neighbourhood with plenty to eat and local markets close by, only a few metres from the metro, close to the river, not too far from the centre. We shared a family room and it was very comfy, spacious, with everything we needed. We also booked into the afternoon/evening walking tour which was amazing - one of the very best we’ve ever done. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Chengdu!

I was single occupancy in one of the larger double rooms - still very inexpensive by UK standards. The room was absolutely fine: well looked after, and the bed was comfortable. The room has a kettle and a couple of teabags are provided each day. You can buy excellent coffee at the front desk or (when it is open) at the coffee shop. The ground floor entrance is not much to look at, but the hotel, which is on the fifth floor, is very welcoming. At the time of my visit (June 2026) the floor below was undergoing full refurbishment so sometimes the single lift was unavailable, and trying to have a sleep one afternoon was difficult due to drilling on the floor below. But honestly, that did not spoil my enjoyment of the place. I was not able to join in any of the activities: the only one I might have done was the steamed bun making evening: sadly only two people signed up for it – not enough. Fully recommended.

It wasn’t a problem, but in June there are a few bugs about – don’t forget to set up the bug killer. It’s pretty intuitive but ask at the front desk if you need help.

The hostel was good, good value for money for sure and great location - only a 15-20 min walk to Chunxi road and other attractions. The beds were nice, and staff spoke decent English. Would recommend staying here for a quick 2-3 night stay

The rooms were way too small. I stayed in a 4 female dorm and there was barely enough space for one person to open their luggage. Luckily there was only myself and another guest but if the room was full I cant imagine how crowded it would have been. Moreover the bathroom got dirty very quickly even with just both of us as there was no sufficient ventilation. The room overall had a very stuffy feel whenever the AC was off but not a big deal

I refused to stay and the staff was very understanding, refunded me immediately and gave me e mini panda will I was searching for another hotel. The young lady offered me another room but I could stay.

It was old, damage and not repaired and most importantly not clean. The toilet has the sealed label saying clean and not used, but there was a pubic hair just right there!!! And there were dead bugs on the side table.

Excellent accomodation in the centre of Chengdu. Great helpfull staff, very clean. daily room service with lot of supplies for free. Location i15 meter from metro 3 line station, easy to find for first non-chinese speaking visitors. All kind of shops, banks, services very close around. Nice atmosphere inside the hotel. Best deal in Chengdu👌🏻

В номере чисто и уютно. В комнате было много места, спокойно можно открыть чемодан на полу. При возникновении вопросов/проблем можно обратиться на стойку регистрации и вам всегда помогут и подскажут. До метро 100 метров. До центра 2 остановки на метро. Есть стиральная и сушильная машина. В общем холле иногда проводят общую лепку пельменей.

Хостел на 5ом этаже, на 4том стройка спорт зала, днём бывает шумно, в лифте пыльно и грязно.

Good location right next to a metro station. Staff were accommodating and helpful if needed anything. Local area with good food nearby. (Ask to try the local dumpling place around the corner!). Pleasant stay.

Can be noisy dependent on other guests staying (only a problem 1 night out of the 3 for me!). Place do provide ear buds to support.

L hotel si trova al 5 piano di un edificio in costruzione , quindi oltre al rumore la sera , c’era un via vai di operai che occupava spesso l ascensore , e dovevi fare 5 piani con scale esterne a piedi. L hotel di per sé é carino ma abbastanza sporco. La camera e gli asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni giorno, ma si vede che le tende,le finestre e gli infissi non venivano lavati e spolverati da un pó. Stessa cosa per la moquette nei corridoi

The ventilation in the bathroom isn't always on, so the bathroom had a small amount of mould and a damp smell. We had a room on the inside (no window), so that's probably why. Probably not a problem in rooms with windows.

The location is amazing - everything is easily accessible by metro! The stuff is polite and very helpful (thank you for assisting me in finding a way to get to the hostel from the airport)! They provide dental kit, washing necessities and flip-flops - so some basic needs are covered and I don’t need to worry about it! Hostel is clean and very cozy inside, especially the lobby! They also conduct interesting events and master classes for travellers

I was sleeping on the upper bed and the stairs there are quite slippery and dangerous - need to hold really tight to avoid falling down

По такой цене олично! Постель замечательная, кровать закрывается занавеской, а главное- вход в хостел напротив метро.

Душ с туалетом в номере, но дверь не закрывается, а в номере ведь есть и другие люди. И в душе не слишком чисто. Полотенце не дали. А так всё хорошо

Хостел топовый, номер чистый, было прохладно, но эту проблему решил инверторный кондиционер, тапочки и полотенца в номере, зубные щетки, чай с печеньками и всякое такое. Очень клевый интерьер и приветливый персонал, классная кофейня, садик на крыше. Прямо напротив метро, в 10 метрах, до центра мин 30 пешком, либо пару остановок на метро.

The thing that makes this place stand out is the staff - they’re wonderful and super helpful and will do so much to make your stay more comfortable. The location was great, you’re a little out of the centre so it’s quiet but you are right by the exit of the metro station. They have a lovely lounge area and outdoor spaces and the vibe was just really nice. Their laundry facilities were also pretty good.

I think we maybe got a little unlucky with our room but it felt pretty run down and the cleaning was quite sub par. We did catch a glimpse into other rooms and they looked a lot better. The beds were also pretty hard.

Good attitude of staffs. Essential items for stay.

The room had a serious flea infestation. I woke up covered in bites and was unable to sleep. This is a major health and safety issue that made the room uninhabitable. The hotel's response was also unhelpful and unprofessional.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with good plugs, lights and a nice shower. The location is great for getting to all the major attractions and the hostel is very easy to find.

Not as social as I thought it would be

The location is great. You have two metro lines ten minutes away, and most places are within a 30 or 40-minute walk. The social area is nice, and I had the chance to meet some people.

The beds were extremely hard, but it was the same in all the hostels in China.

Reccomendes this hostel to fellow travellers who will come to Chengdu. Located just next to exit D Xinnanmen Metro Station. To Chunxi street just one stop. Really convenient. Staff really helpful. The vibes of this place really great! Will definitely stay here again if I come to Chengdu again next time.

Está justo enfrente de una estación de metro, por lo que muy cómodo moverse. La entrada a la planta del edificio en el que se encuentra es muy espaciosa, con sitios donde poder sentarse a comer o tomar algo, mesa de billar..muy acogedor!

A nuestra llegada los 2 chicos de recepción fueron muy amables y hablaban inglés, aunque tampoco nos dieron mucha información sobre nada, un par de mapas y chin pum. pero el día de la salida, la chica que estaba (una con gafitas) fue bastante maleducada, le preguntamos a las 8:30 de la mañana si podíamos tomar café y sin mirarnos ni siquiera a la cara no dijo que no, sin más explicaciones ni indicaciones donde podíamos ir a conseguir uno, no fue tampoco capaz de saludarnos sabiendo que nos íbamos.

Mi sono dimenticata ma dovevo scrivere questa recensione prima! Lo staff è stato gentilissimo, veramente disponibile nei nostri confronti , struttura vicino alla metro che come si sa in Cina è molto comodo perché raggiungi tutti in pochi minuti …veramente grazie allo staff !
