Price is affordable Easy walk to the city centre Quiet

Reception was closed from 12pm, so didn't meet any one the day of my check in, or any other days actually. Extremely cold, should give extra blanket (very warm like woolen blanket) Shower are terrible, couldn't get hot water. Clean enough but not the standards you could expect. Kitchen closed from 10pm to 9.30 am in the morning ! You can't get a tea or coffee before heading to town. Who gets their breakfast that late ?

It's conveniently located, has a great kitchen, and is clean and quiet. Extra layers were provided for my bed on the cold Dunedin nights.

Interesting themes were good,

Concerned about carpet on stairs quite tatty and worn. Could pose hazzard could get a heel court on its and trip. Needs repairs and those plastic with metal heal strip fitted. 2nd floor shower heads very poor condition. Parking very hard to get. Third flor stairwell door very hard to maneuver special with bags a 2 way or sliding door would be safer. 9

Clean, non party hostel.

Not a lot of sound proofing - could hear others conversations, people coming in/out. No towels. Did say you could hire towels but no one at reception to hire from.Upstairs kitchen is locked at 10.30pm til 9.30am.

Kitchen, dining, Toilet and shower are generally clean and tidy.

I was exhausted but can’t go to bed bc I need to check in at 9pm. And there was a long queue

Está faltando atenção de quem esta cuidando dos hóspedes, tive por duas vezes matérias furtados comuniquei e não deram importância.

O lugar é simples mas aconchegante,o Dono é super simpático e receptivo

Os Anfitriões são muito frios,não são muito simpáticos.

Great facilities, we enjoyed the communal rooms including the tv lounge area on the middle floor! Showers were warm and clean. Private room felt cosy and comfy.

Quite spacious in the 4 bed room I was in.

Buena relación precio calidad, pero las tarifas cambian exageradamente de acuerdo a la ocupación, de 30 a casi el triple si me quedaba un día mas

Un pequeño problema, me debitaron de mi tarjeta lo que debería ser sólo una garantía, pero se ocuparon, y aunque tuve que volver, me reintegraron el dinero en efectivo

The hostel was very clean, no bugs or smells, and quiet. There were many other guests, but it did not feel crowded. Staff was so very nice and efficient.

Working the kitchen stove was a bit confusing but manageable. The room was almost completely taken up by the bed, but should be no problem for light travelers.

Its a converted private hospital (skull drilling, leeches) with a great view of the city perched in an elevated spot half way up High Street. The Top floor houses the double rooms, up out of the way of much of the traffic. These are quite tight since they were nurses quarters back in the day. My room was quite cosy with a heater and a good usable window 'with a view'. There are a few good spots to chill outside in the back garden or up on the third floor balcony. There is a commanding view of the city and harbour. The main kitchen is well up to the task and the showers are powerful. Plenty of lounge areas to chill out. Busy uptown vibe.

The building is old with little effort made towards modern comfort. The sound does carry and the door gaps and wooden surfaces make every bodily function audible to the adjected guests. Bring headphones to cover the sounds of other guests and don't plan on any loud food or physical intimacy with your own partner, however I had a guy snoring in the room next to me and he might as well have climbed in bed with me. We never met but the sounds and smells told a huge story. It wasn't like having my own room I might as well have been in a dorm. Every time the hall light came on the gap around the door lit up like "close encounters" A couple travelling might be best not to take the risk and pay a little more to get a motel room. You'll be too self conscious to perform but everyone will hear you arguing about it!

Roadworks on the streets. Too many cones. Made the search for parking more difficult.

I really liked the location it was very central for my needs and places I was going. The beds were very comfy and they have the best staff I have come across. 11/10 service

Everywhere was very clean and tidy. The other people staying at the Chalet were very nice.

I'm getting a bit old for climbing up to a top bunk. Next time I will try to get a bottom bed bunk in the shared room by arriving earlier.

The parking. Took a while to find a place to park.

The atmosphere, the common rooms, the place and the cleanliness.

Lack of cleaning dry tea towel in the kitchen the bathroom are quite untidy compared to the rest of the hostel.

Needs to be towels available at check in

Me gustó todo en general

Reservé una habitación individual para dos noches y ese mismo día escribí al alojamiento para anular la segunda noche. Nunca me respondieron...al llegar al hotel en la recepción me dijeron que las dos noches ya estaban pagadas y no se podía hacer nada.
