Cheap and good location

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is great if you want to stay close to San Juan.

The room is spacious, but it would be even better if it had more amenities like cabinets, chairs, and good-quality mirrors. Additionally , the water pressure in the bathroom is very low, so we couldn’t use the shower.

Amazing staff. Great location. Operated by a family and they are so welcoming and kind. The restaurant is delicious and has very good food. You can rent a bike easily here as well for a great price. There’s a yummy breakfast place called el flamenco right next door too.

Only negative was that the water pressure didn’t work occasionally. Wasn’t a big deal at all though and didn’t ruin anything for us!

Localização ótima, perto da Tubod beach e a curta distância do centro de San Juan. O quarto era muito espaçoso e confortável. Chuveiro de agua fria mas não foi muito inconveniente porque os dias ficaram muito quentes. Eles tem um restaurante frente a pousada com pizzas deliciosas ! Gostamos muito !

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, hyvä sijainti, vahva wifi-yhteys, ravintolassa herkullista ruokaa. Kohdallemme sattui useita vesikatkoja, mutta henkilökunta toimitti vettä vessan vetämiseen.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, the rooms are large and in a great location. There is a delicious restaurant right on site and you can do motorbike rentals from them as well. One of our favorite places we’ve stayed in the Philippines for many reasons but specifically because of the staff and how incredible they are! Whenever we come to siquijor next this is where we’ll be staying!

Es muy básico, como la habitación de un monasterio.La cama , las paredes ,una mesa y el baño .No hay agua caliente , solo la parte de arriba tapa del wc.....

Байк арендовали у причала и расстояние удаленности не волновало. По приезду оказалось, что наш номер занят и нас поселили в большой номер с тремя кроватями. Есть кулер с водой. Рядом термос с горячей водой, кофе, сахар. Вечером тут заказывали пиццу(прочитали в отзывах), на удивление, оказалась очень хорошая, рекомендую.

Вечерами плохой вай-фай, утром лучше. В душе только холодная вода и плохой напор. Гель для душа или мыло нет. Нет стаканчика для зубных щеток, и пасты пришлось придумывать куда ставить.

Mancanza di un armadio o qualcosa per poter riporre i vestiti. Nessuna lampada vicino al letto. La doccia che scaricava sul pavimento e l'acqua che allagava il bagno completamente. La multitudine di zanzare.

We planed to stay 4 nights but ended up staying 6 nights instead, because we felt so well in Siquijor and in that homestay! The owners and their children are very helpful and nice. Their restaurant, opened for diner, has delicious and copious meals. They can organize transfers from and to the ferry, as well as scooter rental. The bedroom is big and clean, as well as the bathroom. There is fan and air conditioning in the bedroom. There was no boiler in the bedroom, but it was possible to have a big thermos of hot water every morning. The thing we preferred was the small terasse with table and chairs, it was nice to have this private area in front of the accommodation. Also, the location is great because it's walking distance from the most beautiful beach on the island : Tubod beach. Also, there are nice cafes and cheap canteen around. We have loved it!

It's not a big problem, but I had some issues about the water pressure in the bathroom, not easy if you want to wash your hair for example. The pressure is or too weak or too strong. Wi-Fi is okay, but sometimes it doesn't work. But no big deal, it's a great place to stay, thanks for everything!

Le raport qualite prix. La gentillesse la serviabilite. La literie tres confortable. Chambre tres petite mais pour le prix on peut pas tout exiger.

Odeur de renfermer. mais on aere et ca se corige. Sinon cest tres bien pour les petits budgets. On reviendra.

We’ve spent with my partner one month in Gold Star Inn, and we’ve been pleased with the place. Our hosts are really kind people, and we were appreciating their attitude. Always on top of our request, room service, facilities, etc. We both of us were really enjoying food in the restaurant, the host was making great dishes. 100% recommendations on this place.

We were having construction dust from near building.

Cute place if you want an en-suite/bungalow to yourself for cheap!!! Very private, Did the job and was well rested:)

Price was right

The room was nice and very clean, the bed was comfortable (the pillows too). There was an aircon with fan and cooling functions so I could always adjust the temperature perfectly. The owners were very nice, always happy to help. The wifi was working well. There is no hot water but I don’t mind it at all in tropical countries :)

Good value for money. Affordable place to stay, clean, and comfy for a backpacker (stayed in a room with a fan and cold water, which is ok for me). Would definitely book again.

The position is 10min to Tubod Beach. Bed was comfy. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. Its cheaper than others in the same area.

Never asked if all was ok or if we need cleaning or toilet paper or towels during our 5 night stay.

Great location, need a pedicure to see the island but this is located next to the marine sanctuary and opposite a great restaurant. Big spacious room with en-suite

Good value for money, private balcony area, amazing pizza at a good price which is a novelty, the room was clean and big and comfy, powerful shower, free water, cute dogs, can rent a scooter on site, walking distance to a marine sanctuary beach

free coffee wasn't always available, one dog chewed through my shoe (which I left on balcony), would be hard to get around without a scooter (same all over island), you should get an a/c room as the fan does not cut it, the restaurant was shut for two of the days we were there but we just went elsewhere.

No AC in the room so it gets very hot, little ants / bugs in the room & once a spider, the room is quite small, it’s soooo loud at night (dogs barking & roosters screeching ALL NIGHT LONG)

Staff were lovely, the beds were comfy with your own hugeee bathroom. I loved having a balcony to have my morning coffee and sometimes dinner. You can rent bikes there too. Also the most adorable and friendly dogs ever. There's a restaurant there too with great food! The shakshua was amazing. I'd recommend. Great restaurants, bars and karaoke in walking distance too.

Clean and comfortable room for a fair price. We extend our stay for a week there. They offer free water refill. The family also run a restaurant in front of the property, the is very convenient.

The hosts were so helpful and friendly. They have a restaurant which serves delicious pizzas. The location is in a good spot, close to Tubod beach, restaurants and not far from San Juan. Strong water pressure and clean bathrooms. Good price for the rooms.

Can get warm in the non ac room but the fan works well and there’s a nice breeze

The room was spotless. Very simple but ok value. The staff very nice.

The fan over the bed blows directly at you and spins. There is no way to adjust it. I couldn't sleep comfortably :( Maybe ask for a floor fan if it also bothers you.

The room was super clean and the bathroom was super good! We spend 6 days here and we had everything we need. The family who run the property are really nice and friendly.

The owners are lovely! They also own the restaurant with some really good food. The room is nice with a private bathroom (there's no AC, but there's a ventilator so that's fine) I had a really comfortable stay

The room is a bit small, but that didn't bothered me as I'm travelling solo.
