Our third stay at this property was heavenly. This hotel is so unique and special. The location is incredible, perched on the edge of the ocean with views of the Javanese volcanoes. There are wild deer gently roaming the property and the bird life and snorkelling/ diving trips offered are incredible - or you can just snorkel for free straight off the jetty. Love the forest villa - comfortable and spacious. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Spa treatment was excellent. Three days here feels like a week. And we loved the local food options for breakfast and all meals.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our two-bedroom villa was spacious, beautiful and felt really private and peaceful – perfect for our family. The setting is amazing and you really feel immersed in nature. We had deer grazing on the lawn outside our villa and saw lots of monkeys and monitor lizards around the resort. We particularly loved the pool area, and the rock pools just off the shore were great fun to explore. The staff were wonderful – so warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Little touches like the frangipani garlands and coconut water when we arrived, turndown service and being driven around the grounds by buggy made it feel very special. There are loads of activities too, and our guided snorkelling trip was excellent. A really special, family-friendly place and well worth the journey to experience this beautiful and very different side of Bali.

De gastvrijheid en service van het personeel. Werkelijk overal wordt aan gedacht. Je hoeft zelf alleen maar te genieten van je verblijf.

Prachtige accommodatie, idyllisch uitzicht en te midden tussen de dieren, je komt er echt tot rust. Goede menu kaart, fantastisch ontbijt. En ze zijn ook bereid iets te bereiden op verzoek wat niet op de kaart stond. Super behulpzaam personeel. Kamers wordenelke dag schoon gemaakt.

Het is wel afgelegen en de weg ernaar toe is minder goed begaanbaar en je bent daardoor gebonden aan de restaurants op het resort. Ik heb er wel lekker gegeten, maar vond het eten en drinken wel veel te duur. En ook daar zit je dan aan vast. Verblijf vond ik ook wel te duur in vergelijking met lokale prijzen.

La chambre est magnifique, le restaurant est juste magique. Cette impression d’être au bout du monde et seul au monde… Bravo aux équipes de restauration, le petit déjeuner est très bon et le dîner face à la mer et au soleil couchant est magique !

Sans doute, un aménagement autour de nos transats et de notre piscine privative… sable ou terrasse en bois … La piscine principale est incroyable mais les extérieurs méritent un petit coup de peinture… le tout reste magique…

Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen im West Bali Nationaltag mit sehr wenig Touristen. Zum Runterkommen und Entspannen sehr gut. Die Anlage hat einen schönen großen Pool, für Kinder und Schwimmen ideal. Es gibt einen netten Jetty, von dem man gut Schnorcheln kann und viele Korallen und einige Seesterne und Fische sehen kann. Wir haben uns den Ausflug auf Grund des hohen Preises und wegen Jetty gespart, sind aber auch von Malediven verwöhnt. Kayak macht sehr viel Spaß. Die Mitarbeiter sind allesamt sehr freundlich (generell auf Bali). Kinderfreundlich. Gutes Essen in 2 Restaurants. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut, trägt aber auch den u.g. Punkten Rechnung.

Die Anlage und Villen sind sehr abgewohnt. In Villa 104 knarrte der Boden bei fast jedem Schritt sodass man Nachts aufgewacht ist und Angst hatte die Deko auf dem Schrank fällt fast runter. Beschwerde freundlichst entgegen genommen, ansonsten ignoriert. Wechsel von Ocean Pool in Forest Villa für uns nicht akzeptabel. Villa für 3 Personen gebucht, aber auch auf Nachfrage nur 2 Sonnenliegen. Safe recht lose im Schrank, Wasserspender defekt, wurde aber schnell getauscht. Fahrradtour im Nationalpark mit Leihrädern auf Grund begrenzter und schlechter Wege nicht möglich. Fahrräder würden in DE keinen „TÜV“ bekommen, Bremsen funktionierten kaum, nur mit massivem Kraftaufwand. Im Grunde kein Strand. Die Homepage vermittelt ein eher sehr gehobenes und vielseitiges Erlebnis, was Anlage und Hotel nicht halten können.

ジャグジーがあったら嬉しかった。レストランで、飲み物を頼んだら、一番先に飲み物を持ってきてもらいたいです。大体、スナックやスターターの後に飲み物が出てきます。

The hospitality of the entire team was way too much. We had informed them that we need vegetarian Indian curry and the chef went out of way to learn from the You tube and prepared the same and the taste was similar like cooked in India. Entire team was there to serve us and the location was and table placing was wonderful.

From our welcome to check out all the processes were out of the way and very very intricate.

低于预期的住宿。 以下提到的这些问题对于一般的经济型酒店当然不是问题，但是这家酒店是这片地区最贵的酒店，也标榜为world best safari stay，那必须以不同于普通酒店的标准来看了 1.负责在booking上沟通的员工有待提升。首先，酒店弄错了入住人数，我已经就加床在booking上沟通了不止一次，入住的时候接待人员显然完全不知道这件事。有点尴尬。然后我在booking上询问入住几天的具体活动安排，一开始就甩给我酒店官网链接（并没有每天的具体安排），在我的追问下才发给入住那几天的活动安排。 2.酒店的水上活动安排有待提升。我以前在印尼住过的同级别或者价位的酒店并不限制水上活动的时间，这边有具体的时间（下午3-4点，虽然酒店也没有严格说4点后就结束），但同时立着一块牌子说所有风险自担，边上也没有任何工作人员。我理解水上活动的风险由客人自担是合理的，但是作为包含活动的package，这么做让人感觉有刻意回避风险的感受，不是太好。酒店提供的仅有浮潜设备租赁而已。另外我们被告知天气原因无法皮划艇 3.因为晚上暴雨把房间的电线搞坏了，我们不得不在天黑的情况下从一个villa搬到另一个villa。感谢经理安排的及时。但是第二天我们回来之后发现新搬入的villa的户外浴缸并没有打扫，也没有放沐浴露等物品。 4.我们入住的第二天一早要去观鸟，酒店给准备了早餐盒，但是不得不说东西很一般。提供的桔子和苹果非常酸，没法吃。不太符合这个档次的酒店水准。

die bungalows sind wunderschön, aber schon ein wenig in die jahre gekommen, in jedweder hinsicht. dies sollte die geschäftsleitung in ihrer preispolitik berücksichtigen.

Quiet and beautiful in the forest.

The forest road is 12 minutes long and half of it is super bumpy. Tons of monkeys who try to enter the Octogan restaurant for a quick snatch and grab of anything on your table. They run in at top speed which can be a bit terrifying if you are not expecting it.

The property is focused on preserving nature and bringing awareness to how beautiful our planet is. It is nested in the national park and the amenities are extremely comfortable while remaining sustainable.

Excellent stay. The à la carte breakfast was outstanding, and the Octagon restaurant offered great options for both lunch and dinner. Snorkelling was a fantastic experience, and the hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. The villa was beautiful, spacious, and well equipped, and the spa is a must. Special thanks to Gede, our snorkelling guide, and Surana and the entire team for taking such wonderful care of us. Highly recommended for a relaxed, high-quality experience.

Нужно поработать с персоналом на тему решения нестандартных задачь. Просил заранее принять багаж, что бы не ездить с ним по острову. Ресепшн отказал из безопасности. Попросил определённые бокалы под определённое шпампанское, само дорогое что есть в меню, не смогли вынести к бассейну, тк стекло нельзя у бассейна. Ну не пьют шампы из пластика))) Менеджеру нужно объяснить всем, что свод правил возможен изменениям. Клиент не может услышать нет. В остальном ребята молодцы очень старались!) Мы очень довольны.

Just about everything was great. We have stayed at multiple Plataran properties and they are consistently very good in all areas - the staff, facilities, restaurants, and available amenities and activities are all excellent.

Our only small complaint about this stay was that the pool at our villa was not cleaned when we arrived. I think we would have used the pool if it was free of leaves and debris but we decided not to use it. I think this would be a nice improvement and not to much to ask for given that we were here during the low season.

Per arrivare si vuole 4/5 ore , alora devi stare almeno 3 notti ( 2 gg opieni) .

Bella struttura, belle ville, personale molto molto amichevole e solerte. Bello il reef di fronte al Jetty, per fare snorkeling, così come il parco nazionale, con cervi e scimmie che allietano la giornata. Non abbiamo potuto approfittare delle attività offerte visto il tempo tendente al brutto e con frequenti scrosci di pioggia. Molto carino il souvenir omaggio. Bello il bagno a cielo aperto, così come la camera, con un bel letto e una scrivania molto funzionale. Ristorante con buon menu e ottima colazione. Nota di merito per il personale, davvero carino e premuroso.

Un po' di mixed feelings, influenzati dal tempo piovigginoso e da una struttura con regole talvolte cervellotiche. Nell'intera area non si può fumare, tranne alla reception e al ristorante, il che obbliga ogni volta a percorrere 200 metri a piedi, cosa che onestamente - se si è in vacanza e si ha un enorme villa a disposizione - è assai fastidioso. La palestra a cielo aperto diventa non praticabile in caso di pioggia. Le bici a disposizione sono ormai vecchie e scassate. Bello essere all'interno del parco nazionale, ma ci vogliono 10 minuti d'auto (su una strada accidentata), e talvolta si ha l'impressione di essere rinchiusi, soprattutto perché il primo villaggio è a 20 minuti d'auto e, se si vuole comprare qualcosa, l'operazione diventa un po' complicata. La SPA ha dei prezzi molto elevati rispetto a quanto offerto a Bali, a cui si aggiungono le solite tasse e il servizio. Idem per il ristorante, che però offre dei buoni piatti.

Our stay at Plataran Menjangan was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed and cared for. The setting is magical, tucked in nature with deer grazing nearby. Our villa was spacious, private, and beautifully maintained, with lovely touches that made it feel luxurious yet relaxed. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction, and the food was incredible. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Thank you, Plataran team, for such a special experience!

Take your five star hotel and elevate it. That is what this stay was like for us. They anticipated every need. Provided anything we asked for. The staff was extremely kind.

Ein wirklich besonderes Resort: Wer Ruhe sucht, der findet sie hier. Schlechte Rezensionen, weil kein Restaurants oder Bars in der Nähe zu finden sind, sind absurd in einem Resort in einem Nationalpark. Wenige Fußminuten zu Jetty, an dem man sehr schön Schnorcheln kann. Wenn man möchte, kann man zudem in dem Unterwasserparadies um die Insel Menjangan tauchen und schnorcheln (ca. 30min mit Boot entfernt, in das man direkt und ohne Autonutzung vom Jetty einsteigen kann). Restaurant sehr gut. Tea time in 16:00 kostenlos mit leckeren Tee und selbst gemachtem Gebäck lohnend. Frühstück sehr gut. Meervilla mit Pool wirklich sehr schön. Anlage ansonsten sehr gepflegt und sauber.

Etwas offensiver/arg motivierter Manager bei Ankunft, der einem das eine bzw. andere aufschwätzen möchte. Ansonsten extrem freundliches und tolles Personal.

1. El restaurante (the octagon), además de ser estéticamente horrible, sirve una comida horrorosa. Te quedas más de dos días y te da algo…. 2. La zona del desayuno está desangelada. Como abandonada. 3. No te dejan toallas de playa si sales del hotel… 4. Nos querian cobrar 3.5 millones por cabeza por un boat trip para hacer snorkeling que costaba 500.000. Lo más absurdo que he visto. 5. Bicicletas en mal estado 6. No te puedes bañar en la playa del hotel 7. Acceso al hotel complicado 8. Duchas de los cuartos fatal. Sin presión y el agua o sale muy caliente o fria. 9. El spa, muy bonito, pero los masajes mediocres. 10. Finalmente, tuvimos problemas en la reserva. Hicimos una reserva para 5 personas y de repente nos dicen que tenemos que pagar la cama de la quinta persona. Que apenas tenía incluido el desayuno pero no el alojamiento. Booking tuvo que intervenir dándonos la razón y comprometiendose a pagar la diferencia que nos cobrasen….. al final no nos cobraron nada pero muy mal…. Eso nos hizo llegar ya un poco decepcionados, lógicamente. No fue honrado.

Idéalement situé dans le parc national de West Bali, le resort permet une expérience de communion avec la nature. Les oiseaux, les singes, les daims, sans oublier les coraux lors de promenades en snorkeling, tout nous rappelle que si l’on respecte la nature (ici, pas de plastique à l’abandon et pas de déchets sur la plage) elle nous le rend au centuple. Les chalets en bois au bord de la mer qui bénéficient chacun d’un petit bassin sont magnifiquement décorés.

La sortie en snorkeling proposée par le resort est à faire, certes, mais il faut être prêt à se retrouver avec beaucoup d’autres touristes car le spot au large de l’île de Menjagan est le lieu prisé par tout le monde. De plus, le programme inclut une longue pause déjeuner au milieu de tous les touristes. Il ne faut pas hésiter à indiquer votre désir d’éviter cela au guide de l’excursion.

Les lieux. On est entouré d’animaux (singes etc) qui se déplacent librement et les bungalows sont très beaux.

Le prix assez élevé pour Bali en comparaison avec d’autres 5 étoiles.

Tout était parfait : le cadre magnifique, la villa somptueuse, le personnel chaleureux et attentionné, les activités proposées qui cadencent avec bonheur la journée de farniente.

Hôtel incroyable au milieu du parc naturel de la côte ouest de Bali. Les chambres sont très bien décorées et le service est exceptionnel. Le personnel est une très grande gentillesse et essaie toujours de vous faire plaisir. Les paysages sont magnifiques. Les coraux sur l’île de Menjangan sont très beaux et colorés. Un endroit merveilleux. Et je voudrais à nouveaux saluer le grand professionnalisme de toute l’équipe et les remercier du fond du cœur pour leur gentillesse au quotidien.

Cet établissement est un des plus bels hôtels dans lequel j'ai séjourné. L ensemble du personnel est attentionné et dévoué aux clients. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Le cadre est si paisible. On observe les animaux partout. Les activités proposées payantes comme incluses sont à la hauteur du reste de l'hôtel. Le restaurant est divin et copieux (tea time l après midi à faire absolument). A l'occasion de notre anniversaire de mariage, nous avons eu plein d'attentions. Nous avons été filmés et photographiés lors de nos activités et le lien va nous être envoyé, ce qui nous fera des souvenirs extraordinaires. Merci Nous regrettons de ne pas être resté plus longtemps.

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner au Plataran Menjangan Resort. Mais l’expérience avait commencé bien avant notre arrivée. En effet, avec l’aide du fort sympathique et disponible manager, monsieur Putu, nous avons pu organiser deux aventures d’exception, l’une à la découverte du Mont Ijen l’autre pour une expérience bateau / snorkeling autour de l’ile de Menjangan. Organisation en sur mesure et excellents conseils tout au long de nos échanges. Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce petit établissement niché dans ce parc naturel et cette magnifique mangrove. Endroit particulièrement paisible où les biches sont littéralement aux portes de vos chambres. Nous avons adoré, tant par l’hôtel en lui-même très confortable que par la grande qualité de son équipe. Mention spéciale à la journée sur le bateau avec un piquenique sur mesure tout simplement délicieux et la découverte de coraux splendides. Autre mention spéciale avec l’organisation en grande confiance et sécurité pour aller découvrir les feux bleus. De nouveau un grand merci à Monsieur Putu et toute son équipe. Je ne peux pas oublier de remercier également Nyoman qui a accompagné chacune de nos sorties avec professionnalisme, gentillesse et bienveillance. Je ne peux que vous recommander cet endroit enchanteur, en famille ou à deux.

A wonderful place in beautiful nature. Wildlife all around. Villa’s were great, clean and nicely decorated. Service was beyond good; everyone was so helpful and friendly. Infinity pool is great. Food and drinks were delicious. A quiet calming and peaceful place; feels like heaven on earth.

Our stay here has been absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere in the middle of the national park is truly special – so peaceful and quiet, with deer grazing right outside our villa and monkeys providing exciting moments, especially for our daughter. The staff have been incredibly warm and welcoming, especially towards our child. There were lovely activities for her and a beautifully natural playground she absolutely loved. The pool is simply spectacular – the largest we’ve ever seen, with stunning views of the sea. The food has been excellent, and the villa itself is luxurious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed – we especially loved the semi-outdoor bathroom, which added a touch of nature to the experience. The snorkeling trip organized from here was another highlight – perfectly arranged, with fantastic reefs around Menjangan Island and so many colorful fish to see. All in all, a magical stay. We’d absolutely love to come back!

If you are tired of crowded over-touristy Bali, this is the place to go. Located in a national park, the resort is quiet, remote, and very nature conscious. Deer and monkeys regularly roam the premises and can be seen right outside the villas. The Balinese food is excellent and there are plenty of nature based activities: snorkelling, hiking, biking, diving, etc.

Its a 4-5 hour drive from the airport along roads than can be quite narrow and many reckless drivers.

We loved our stay, the staff were so friendly and kind, the facilities were great with a lot of activity options and the room was so beautiful and well kept. Great value for money you get luxury service here.

C’est un endroit incroyable, niché dans le parc national. Tout au bout, dans la mangrove. Il y a des singes et des biches partout. Humains et animaux cohabitent en toute simplicité. On est au bord de la mer, mais la mer sauvage, pas une station balnéaire. Les fonds marins sont merveilleux, avec des quantités de poissons multicolores et de tortues. Les chalets sont très beaux, l’accueil est extraordinaire ! Tandis qu’on nous explique le fonctionnement du resort, une demoiselle aux mains expertes nous masse les épaules. Le restaurant est sur le sable. La piscine est bien chauffée. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Le seul petit nuage dans ce ciel bleu: le dîner, qui mériterait plus de qualité.

Peaceful natural environment. So much wildlife. Monkeys, deer, Bali starlings, monitor lizards. Attentive and lovely staff. A wonderful welcome coconut and 5 minute massage after our long drive. Excellent turn down service inclusive of natural mosquito repellants. Beautiful outlook. Incredible spa nestled among mangroves overlooking the ocean. Daily kids activities. Water filter in the room was handy. It felt like a proper escape.

The site is amazing, with individual villas in their own gardens with a veranda. Ours had a plunge pool overlooking the sea where we could watch the deer and monkeys roam. The room was very well appointed with good wifi, the tv worked well, there was plenty of storage. As well there was a water machine in the room, reducing plastic use in line with the ethos of the accommodation. There was a very good coffee maker as well. We had a welcome fruit bowl and lovely room decorations for our anniversary. Each night the villa is sprayed for mosquitos, and we enjoyed very comfortable nights inside our mosquito netting.

Not so much the fault of the accommodation, but the outdoor bathroom is covered but has openings on the sides. It was rainy season and one night it rained so hard everything got soaked - toilet paper, toiletry bags, towels. We had to wade through an inch of water to go to the toilet. It may have been a quirk out our villa (101) as I didn't see the same openings on other villa's bathrooms. The bed was massive and comfortable, but had extra wood to the sides, so in order to get out you needed to scoot a further foot. That might be an issue for anyone with mobility problems

there is no kids zone, no toilet brushes or bidet in the toilet

The Plataran Menjangan provides an oasis of peace and serenity. I loved being away in the bush, but in such a luxurious bungallow, and seeing so many amazing animals. Staying here for 5 nights was such a treat and a great way to recharge myself after a really stressful period. A truly magical place

It was absolute 5 Star accommodation , The surroundings, the peacefulness, the. Nature a dream.

All perfect, but be aware the road towards the resort is a bite bumpy.

it’s remote, attached to a National Park. Sustainablity is a mandate.

Accueil très chaleureux. personnel au petit soin. Établissement exceptionnel. Décor de rêve. Les animaux en liberté sont visibles dans le parc. Les explications par rapport à l'eco responsabilite sont bien menée.

The villa is beautiful. The bathroom is very spacious and the staffs are all very helpful and nice. The spa is also beautiful facing the sea directly. They also offer a lot of activities.

Some of the road to the hotel are not really good.

The best part of this hotel is how it's surrounded by so much nature. The animals you see around the resort are so beautiful!

There's a few caged animals around the resort as well which I didn't like.

Breakfast and food was exceptional plus the service. Definitely will be coming back. We also did the private snorkeling/picnic lunch and it was such a great experience. Wonderful staff and set up!

Exceptional service and amazing location. Lots of deers and monkeys. Kids enjoyed balinese snack cooking and donut decoration classes. Snorkeling was awesome even near the jetty. Absolutely delicious breakfasts. So worth it!

Perhaps the best hotel I've stayed at in Bali. Super staff, stunning villas and nature around. Tropical birds, perfect scuba diving nearby. Communication is amazing, staff created a WhatsApp group and we could just text them if anything was required.

The property is tired, sparse, lacks a range of facilities and activities. The one and only restaurant is average and as a 'captive audience' the prices are excessive. Facilities are lacking. There is a pool but that's about it so be prepared to entertain yourself or pay for additional activities. The staff are nice enough but not up to 5 star standard. This is not a 5 star property but if you are looking for a remote, 'off grid' experience (with a hefty price tag) you might enjoy it.

Outstanding staff with the highest quality service. Superb location. Delicious and consistent food and room service delivered faster than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life. Comfortable beds. Quiet and private rooms. Extremely smooth and attentive management. The grounds are immaculate. This place is special.
