Pas grand chose à faire à dauin autre que plongée ou Snorkeling ou alors location scooter mais longs trajets pour différents points intéressants..

I booked a room with private bathroom. There was 1 queen and 1 single bed with pillows which were very comfortable. After a long journey it was well needed. I dozed off at 830pm which was really rare. Right next to the beach. Nice veranda to just laze around. Hammock provided. Aircon was good. Surrounding peaceful and clean.

The flooring in the toilet seems slanted. So when water accumulate it will flow towards the door and into the room. There was only 1 channel on the TV. Tried to navigate but couldn’t find a way to change it.

Short version: I have been traveling for 3 months and this was my favourite place! Long version: I was in the area for diving. I did the trip to Apo for three dives and two shore dives off the front of the resort. Mike was my dive guide for all my dives and he finds everything! The owner of the resort is really more like a host (as others have noted). Mark was really friendly. He provided me with excellent recommendations for restaurants and even invited me to join him and his daughter for dinner on my last night. That was really nice - as a solo traveler I'm often eating alone so it is nice to share a meal with others. I opted for the air-con room (because I like my comforts). The bed was ridiculously comfortable and there was plenty of space to unpack and make myself at home. There was a common kitchen with free drinking water - but I also liked having a kettle and fridge in my room so I could make a coffee without leaving the room. Having chairs, a table and a hammock on the terrace made it easy to be outside relaxing as did the chairs at the beach just a few steps away. Oh, and the kitchen area had books available! So this place had everything I like. The staff were always ready to help and would always say hello or good-morning which just makes the place such a friendly place to stay. A return trip to AivyMaes is already on my list for my next trip to the Philippines.

The shower door was a little fiddly. But I was talking to the owner and he indicated they are looking at other options (different/better design).

Extrem kleine und überteuerte Bungalows, Preis Leistung negativ - auch wenn am Strand, Dusche und Bad nicht ganz funktionstüchtig, unter Tags Bauarbeiten und Lärm, Parklplatz vor Bungalow mit Staub ging gar nicht, der Ventilator war fix angebracht und wenn man auf der Versnda gab es nichts.

Wir waren in Dauin zum tauchen und waren Top zufrieden! Die Guides sind megagut, sehr respektvoll im Umgang mit der Natur und wir hatten hier 3 tolle Tauchtage und kommen sicherlich wieder aber dann für länger. Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber gut. Sehr gut gefällt mir das es immer kostenloses Wasser zum trinken gibt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ausreichend. Mittags oder Abends gibt's genug Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Personal ist supernett aber ein Highlight ist Mark, der Besitzer von dem Resort. Der beste Begriff der mir zu ihm einfällt ist "Herbergsvater" und das im allerbesten Sinne. Er hat tolle Tipps, ist supernett und hat uns sogar höchstpersönlich sein special Breakfast gemacht. Wenn ihr in Dauin Muckdives machen wollt und eine günstige Unterkunft sucht: Bucht dieses Resort und geht mit denen tauchen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Es ist ein Tauchresort auf Nachfrage für eine Schnorchel Tour nach Apo Island wurde ich auf einen 15Km weit entfernten Ort verwiesen da würden solch Touren gemacht im eigenen Resort nicht habe dann gesehen das ein koranisches Tauchresort (Kim) das ca. 200m Richtung Hauptstraße solche Touren von unserem Strand aus anbieten

Site de plongée génial et personnel au top qui vous accompagne et vous aide à planifier vos plongées.

Un petit club de plongée au bord de l eau, avec des fonds marins magnifiques à quelques mètres de la plage de sable noir (des heures de snorkelling inattendu et passionnant).. Des bungalows tout simples avec sanitaires collectifs et propres. Une atmosphère très agréable et des gens serviables. Hamacs sur la petite terrasse. On peut manger facilement dans le quartier. Bon point de départ pour l excursion à Apo Island.

Idéalement situé. De beaux fonds de de belles tortues juste en face. L espace avec les transats est très agréable. Les hébergements sont simples, typiques (sdb communes), très propres. L espace commun pour se faire un café, cuisiner ou simplement préparer une mangue nous a été très utile. Merci pour ce bon séjour !

Everything. Diving was fantastic, bed was comfy, hammocks are relaxing, staff is friendly, beach is perfect and the location is prime

Great place with direct sandy access to the sea with an amazing coral garden, enthusiastic staff and great diving. There is an open kitchen so you can prepare your own meal. (Fishes from the local market are great 👍). Restaurants around too 👍

Bien situé en bord de plage, avec une magnifique zone de coraux à explorer en snorkeling ou plongée accessible directement depuis la plage. Possibilité d'avoir le petit déjeuner sur place, large choix, moyennement supplément. Lit confortable équipé d'une moustiquaire. Chaque bungalow dispose d'une petite terrasse équipée de table, chaise et hamacs ainsi que d'un fil à linge. L'équipe a été très accueillante. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit et personne ne nous a fait de remarque quand au fait que nous ne pratiquons pas de plongée.

Peu d'espace pour déposer les bagages (depuis que j'ai été confrontée à des punaises de lit dans un autre établissement je ne veux plus déposer mes bagages au sol et apprécie d'avoir des étagères et des cintres pour organiser mes affaires loin du lit)

Los trabajadores del hotel fueron muy simpáticos, nos ayudaron en todo y siempre con una sonrisa para recibirte. El lugar es hermoso y la ubicación es perfecta ya que al salir de la habitación estás sobre la playa y en el mejor punto para hacer snorkel en un magnífico arrecife de corales lleno de vida y de tortugas! . Tienes café a disposición a cualquier momento del día, tienes cocina súper equipada, heladera y también puedes comprar la cerveza y cualquier bebida en el hotel mismo. Punto aparte para el dueño que nos ayudó mucho, nos trató como amigos y nos invitó a cenar con todo el staff y algunos huéspedes y cocinamos diferentes comidas para todos y pasamos un momento súper grato con todos ellos. Además fuimos a bucear a app island con su centro de buceo que se encuentra en el hotel asique todo fue fácil, práctico y de buena calidad. La pasamos muy pero muy bien y les recomiendo este lugar con todo el corazón. Nos llevamos muy buenos recuerdos. Gracias Aivy y Mark.

Great staff. Very accommodated and helpful. Air-conditioning room was amazing. Dive instructor was very professional and safety concerned. All meals we had at the resort and on board while driving was delicious. House reefs were just a walk of the shore. Great snorkeling and diving. We went to Apo diving.

Le bruit mais cest surtout lies aux activites de karaoke du village autour de Noel.

Le manque d’entretien, le désordre (pour rester poli) de la cuisine, les urinoirs dans un état pas possible et sans électricité. Le patron est antipathique, vous croise et ne dit jamais bonjour. De plus nous étions installés face à la cuisine et les gens discutaient jusqu’à point d’heure devant cette cuisine sans se soucier que des gens dormaient. Bref vous pouvez trouver largement mieux dans les mêmes tarifs à quelques centaines de mètres de la. Ex: la tortue qui est tenue par un français très attentionné comme son personnel

Dès que nous sommes arrivés, la première chose que le staff nous ait dit. Vous êtes en avance, vous devez payer 100 PHP par heure par chambre. La deuxième chose que le staff nous a dit: Vous avez réservé trois 3 bungalow mais êtes 7 personnes (5 adultes et 2 enfants de 11 et 9 ans. Vous devez payer 1000 PHP additionnel par jour. La meilleur chambre était très humide et la porte des toilettes ne se fermait pas. Nous avons du demander au lobby de venir réparer la porte. Il n'y a que 2 bungalows avec toilettes. Pour les autres, ce sont des toilettes et douches communes.

It was close to the marine sanctuary and excellent for snorkelling. We stayed in one of the two units with ac and its own bathroom. Although the water pressure was very low for the first few days. The bed was comfy, and ac was quiet and very efficient. We were able to rent scooters through the property. The unit was very good value for money compared to their bamboo huts with shared bathroom where our friends stayed. Diving with them was great for a good price, according to my husband. The snorkelling trip to Apo Island was good, too. Loved the hammock outside our unit. 1-2 restaurants in walking distance, especially" Le jardin" for dinner, but for more choice in restaurants, it is better to rent a scooter. Can highly recommend "the Lokal".

Lots of moskitos during dusk and dawn, but they supplied insect repellent for free. No real breakfast choice. They supplied a menu with different options, but staff was very reluctant to do other options than the omlette with pancakes. On the days you did diving or snorkelling tours with them, it was for free. Their policy that you have to do snorkelling and diving tours with them when you stay there. It should be made more clear on the booking.com website.

スタッフやオーナーがフレンドリーで親切だった。 友だちとホテルで待ち合わせの旨を伝えておいたら、ちゃんと友だちを案内してくれていた。 前の人がチェックアウトしたら片づけて早めにチェックアウトさせてくれた。 時間の関係で参加できなかったが、クリスマスパーティーに招待してくれた。 ローカルの人たちが近くのbeachにたくさんいたが、ホテル前のリクライニングチェアーは泊り客専用なのでゆっくりできた。

Wi-Fiがつながりにくかった。クレジットカードやPayPalもつかえるが、手数料をとられるので結局現金で払った。

Super rapport qualité prix ! Le lieu est sympa avec un accès direct à la plage. Les chambres sont simples, mais toutes équipées d’un petite terrasse avec hamac et vue sur le jardin. Toutes les parties communes étaient propres et fonctionnelles.

Billigt, nära havet, dykcenter on site. Dykcentret var bra! Bra utrustning, bra båt, ok personal, bra servicenivå.

Boendet var väldigt enkelt, en bambuhydda med en säng i. Dåligt med plats att ha saker, dåligt med krokar att hänga saker på. Luktade lite fukt/mögel. Den gemensamma dusch/toaletten var väldigt basic. Saknade plats att hänga upp saker. Personalen på boendet var inte så engagerad. Notera att man inte på ett enkelt sätt kan betala med kort, ta med kontanter. Väldigt mycket ljud på kvällen - musik och karaoke. Finns ingen restaurang på boendet men finns i närheten.

The location is perfect. They have a private beach just in front of the rooms. It is a very peaceful place. The staff is very nice and kind :) They offer also instant coffe for free that is a plus

La struttura rispecchia esattamente la descrizione, con ambienti curati, puliti e immersi in una tranquillità davvero rigenerante. La lunga spiaggia proprio davanti alla struttura è perfetta per rilassarsi, e il mare… semplicemente meraviglioso. Un punto di forza assoluto sono le escursioni: organizzate in modo impeccabile, con guide e skipper estremamente preparati e competenti, anche per chi ama semplicemente lo snorkeling. Esperienza super consigliata a chi cerca mare, relax e un’organizzazione seria. Tip: A due passi dall’alloggio, ottimo locale vegetariano per colazioni, pasti cocktail e yoga!

AivyMaes and s a family operated dive resort. The bed in the queen room with a bathroom was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and the diving was excellent. I was here during my birthday as a solo traveler. The owners went above and beyond to make sure I had an excellent time and the whole team took great care of me. I would highly recommend for diving and accommodation.

Excellent location right on the seafront which made for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Staff are friendly and helpful and one day there were even free donuts!

The staff from the hotel was very kind

The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, even assisting with our sunburn. However, the organized snorkeling trip was appalling. We witnessed staff throwing cigarettes directly onto the coral reef and touching a sea turtle. Furthermore, the boat's poorly placed trash can allowed plastic to blow into the ocean. This behavior is unacceptable and illegal. The hotel must address these serious environmental issues immediately.

We - family of 4 (parents and kids 11 & 13) - stayed at Aivy Maes for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed it to the last minute! We stayed in the 2 aircon units with private bathroom, which were quite basic, but very clean and more than enough for really only spending the nights in there. The whole setting of the resort with its nice huts and garden, the direct access to the beach equipped with shaded sun chairs, hammocks in front of the rooms, open kitchen with coffee, tea and biscuits all day long, made it such a comfortable and family friendly experience! But the best of the vacation was definitely the diving! Josh organized everything at the dive shop perfectly! He was also the ideal teacher for our kids to learn underwater magic tricks and how to make bubbles & rings in so many different ways! They had the best entertainment ever and felt very comfortable under water. Their ease and fun was also supported by the great care and attention of the 2 dive masters in training, who accompanied the kids during most of their dives. Can a parent ask for more? Divemaster Nhoe was THE hero during each of our dives spotting the tiniest rare critters! Being muck diving lovers, we really had a blast and can’t think of a better guide than him. If you’re concerned about the food situation, there’s no need at all! You can either prepare your own meals in the common kitchen or go to any restaurant in the neighborhood. There are so many choices and they’re all in walking distance! And there’s really plenty of yummy options! In brief, we had a great time and were very sad to leave this little gem!

Location is great, you have the beach right in front. Staff is also super nice, really helpful. You have access to the kitchen with free stuff. Room was confortable enough. I stayed in a basic room, double bed and a fan. Everything was working well.

If you are sensitive to noises don't go there. Even if there are a lot of great things about this place, tranquility during the night isn't one of them. You hear a lot of what's happening in the others rooms. And the classics for the philippines : dogs, roosters and all. But if you don't mind that then it's a great place to go !! They are also super strict about diving with other centers. They will kick you out for it if they find out and they don't joke about it. But at least they are upfront with it.

We booked first 4 nights but ended up to stay 2 weeks at aivymaes. We loved the calmness of the place and amazing staff. Deluxe room had good bed, ac and small fridge. Own bathroom was ok. Staff was amazing and always near if you need some help. There is no restaurant in the resort, but you can use shared kitchen. There are also several restaurants nearby where you can even order with delivery. Dive center is professional and dives that we made was excellent. We two did together 36 dives in 2 weeks. We can honestly recommend!

Noisy, road runs behind .. barking dogs ..rude staff .. not sea view . You book .. then you get a email telling you “ if you don’t book dives excursion’s with them they will throw you out!

We booked months ahead a Standard bungalow for 9 nights based on the info and pictures available on booking.com. We arrived late in the evening and were shown a bungalow next to the staff quarters and opposite the kitchen / communal bathroom area. THIS MEANS NOISY & BRIGHT LIGHTS THE WHOLE NIGHT. In no way reflecting the pictures on booking.com We declined the room and were give another bungalow for which they wanted us to charge a higher price. We refused because in our opinion this room was the category we booked. After 4 nights we were supposed to change back to the bungalow we were shown after our arrival. We declined. The only option was to move out to another resort. Of course we lost our money for the already paid room since the management declined to cancel our reservation and reimburse us for the outstanding nights. We were also in contact with them before booking the room regarding diving. Nobody approached us on our first day staying there regarding diving. We had no clue who was responsible for managing the dive operations, were not shown a price list. Finally we were lucky enough to found a guy named Elvis who was available at 2pm. No information on dive sites though. We inquired about the price policy regarding house reef dives and dive sites only reachable with motocycle transport. Elvis insured us that divesites only short ride away were considered as housereef dives WITHOUT additional charge. The next day we asked another guy if the dive we were planning to do would be with additional transport costs. He said NO due to the short distance away (5 min motocacle ride) When we wanted to pay the bill for diving they had charged us the higher prices for the dives we had to reach with motorcycle. At the end we paid. We are seasoned travellers. We never felt so cheated & mistreated as at AivyMaes Divers resort.

Great place to stay. Very comfortable, clean cabin. Right on the beach. I had a great day snorkelling around Apo island. Lovely staff.

The sand on the beach is a very course dark gravel.

The coral reef in front of the resort is great for snorkelling. There are a lot of nice people working at the hotel. It has a good vibe.

My room was very small and basic. The room I booked here was Sea View with a private bathroom but the little view I got was only from the front porch. It was a shared bathroom, not private. I complained but wasn't given a better room or any compensation.

Located right on the beach by a beautiful snorkeling/diving reef and near Apo Island. Newly- finished dive shop with showers, wash tanks etc. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow, with full bathroom (plenty of hot water), small fridge, large comfortable bed plus twin bed, large closet, coffee making supplies, A/C. Fresh water always available from the kitchen. Large deck with table and seating. Easy walking distance to restaurants, markets, massage. Lounge chairs and shaded seating area by the beach.

Beautiful location close to a protected snorkeling and swimming area, near great food

The Cabana we had booked was a little dark and too airy so we upgraded to a concrete room with more space and ac, that worked out well.

DONT GIVE THEM YOUR LAUNDRY. Gave them my laundry, they mixed it with another persons. Gave me a basket to fish my clothes from, and half of it was missing. Had to show them pictures of pieces of clothing and the guy came back with one piece of clothing every time. Clothes that i didnt remember to ask back i didn't receive. Also location is not great. Its on the beach but the beach is full of boats parking and gawking local men. So not pleasant to go for a swim. There's one coffee shop and one not great restaurant. Also a bed in a dorm without AC was relatively expensive.

Great place to relax, snorkel and dive. They have the best spot in Dauin, with sandy beach to walk and jog and marine sanctuary for snorkeling. They also have dive courses and boat tours. WIFI is great. There is a shared kitchen to cook and menu for other restaurants to order from. The staff and owner are amazing.
