Het was super!! Geen poespas maar heerlijk !! We zaten er helemaal alleen… wat hebben wij genoten van de rust, de omgeving…koraalrif, strand, sterrenhemel! En dat helemaal voor ons zelf! En heerlijke maaltijden gemaakt door Mabel en haar man.. kortom was super!!

Het was een behoorlijke trip om van de haven daar te komen, een klein uur met de auto en dan nog 25 minuten varen…

From the moment we arrived we were embraced with warm& friendly hospitality... The food was delicious-the beach stunning-the setting remote,relaxed and rustic.We loved the outdoor bathroom!We had the use of a kayak&snorkels-a scooter to hire and a drop&fetch service to close by Darocotan island.Our taxi to and from Lio airport was arranged for us making our arrival&departure seamless.Thank you to Mabel and the other wonderful staff members(and Rochelle who was a short whatsapp away:)

The only thing we would emphasize is to draw enough cash for your stay-or make sure you register & download PayPal in your own country.You have options for ATM withdrawal at El Nido town &the airport! The charm of this resort is it's authentic- rustic edge-if you are looking for all the mod cons-this is not the place for you:)

El relax y la tranquilidad que se respira, el trato de todo el equipo es excelente y estás como con amigos. Rochelle y Alberto lo hacen muy fácil y te ayudan en todo. La comida merece un mención a parte, es extraordinaria, surtido y calidad a un precio impresionante y buen vino que también se agradece.

Sus pegas son sus puntos fuertes, está alejado pero esa es su gracia. No hay nada que no me gustara.

Vanaf moment één hebben we een fantastisch verblijf gehad! We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en gedurende ons hele verblijf stond iedereen voor ons klaar. De locatie is prachtig en heerlijk rustig. Je kunt direct vanaf het strand de zee in om te snorkelen. Daarnaast was het eten elke keer enorm genieten. Wij zijn helemaal tot rust gekomen.

Ein einzigartiges Resort mit besonderen Menschen und Übernachtung. Die Toilette und die Hütte waren wirklich außergewöhnlich. Der Fisch im Restaurant war besonders zu hervorheben ebenso das Fleisch. Nettes Personal und freundliche Tiere. Sehr familiär und perfekt um die Ruhe zu genießen. Alles wurde zu unserer Zufriedenheit gemacht. Zimmer waren trotz ohne Klima sehr angenehm zum schlafen. Toller Ort für Sonnenaufgänge.

Etwas abseits was aber total in Ordnung ist für Entspannung und teilweise verstecke Kosten (z.b Überfahrt zur anderen Insel und Kosten zur Anfahrt etwas hoch.

Wenn man Ruhe sucht ist man hier richtig. Schöne Bungalows in einer hübschen Bucht.

Playa Encantada is the perfect gateway is you want to have a bungalow right in front of the sea and be with nature. You can hear birds all day long and no one is going to bother you. The staff is amazing and the food is really good! If you are looking for a really perfect place to reset and rest, this is it.

Marbel and the staff were amazing! They looked after us like we were royalty. The food was wonderful, the location was secluded and so restful. The cabin was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay😁😁😁

The road to get to the resort was very tricky if you are travelling on a scooter

Playa Encantada Is a family owned business by a Filipino and Italian family. They made sure that I had the most amazing stay and the most amazing birthday ever. I met a family that that has such a big heart and is willing to go the extra mile for me even when I was by myself on the other side of the world away from my own family. I'm so beyond grateful for the most amazing food that they prepared with love and joy. I wish to come back here again because they just provide the most amazing hospitality I've ever come across. I'm going to say amazing one more time because that is THE only way I can describe my experience staying here.

This place is incredible!! Our favourite place we have ever stayed. The food is beautiful, all local and fresh every day. The staff are so helpful and make you feel so at ease. Most of all it’s so peaceful and serene. We arrived here and didn’t leave for 5 days. The perfect place to relax, snorkelling and read in between beautiful beautiful meals. We will 100% be back again!!

El servei molt amable i atent, t'aconseguien transport per moure't (vam arribar en barca privada i vam tornar amb taxi per la muntanya), els esmorzars molt bons (sempre arros, pà, plàtan i/o ous o pankakes amb cafè i/o té) i els dinars i sopars una autentica virgueria, bonissim tot i cada dia tenies menús diferents per triar amb diferents opcions i tot estava exquisit!!! Tot molt complet i molt bo (calitat-preu). Feien un coktails bonissims! Les habitacions molt xules i molt ben equipades, molt espaioses i grans. I el wc ens va encantar! Te una part coberta i l'altre part al descobert, tot un encant.

The place is wonderful for prople who love nature, relaxation and peace. The stuff was excellent, the owners Rochelle and Alberto were very warmhearted and always ready to help. We were very happy with the lovely dogs Brownie, Snow and Danta and the cat Tiger. The food was very delicious, every day different fresh seafood and lovely mango tiramisu. We had an excellent fishing experience and we learned a lot for the local fishing technique and different kind of fishes in the sea. Thank you very much to Rochelle, Alberto. Mabella, her husband and the whole stuff! We will recommend the lovely place to everyone and will come back with pleasure. We felt like we were at home.

The absolute highlight of our stay was Mabel. She went above and beyond for every guest and truly made a difference. Without her, we honestly would have left early. She created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and made our evenings enjoyable. The rooms themselves were also fairly okay—nothing special, but acceptable.

Unfortunately, the rest of the resort feels very neglected and lacks care. The entire place seems loveless and poorly maintained. The beach was covered in plastic waste, which is completely unacceptable. The overall cleanliness of the property was disappointing—it often looked dirty and unkempt. While we understand that there is currently a trainee in the kitchen, the food was only average and not something to look forward to. Evenings were quite dull, with little to do and a generally uninspiring atmosphere.

If you are looking for quiet castaway vibes, this place is for you. The staff are super helpful and lovely, they will organise trips, massage, transfers while you search the horizon for boats and pick up dreamy shells from the beach shore. The evenings were chilled and the mornings relaxing...

We had the villa and it was huge, but not sure it's always used as it smelt a little moth bally and it was pretty dark, but the veranda was where we spent most of our time so it didn't matter. If you want 5 star mini bar this isn't for you, but if you want a comfortable but island real place to stay book immediately!

Stranden är underbart vacker, men inte så badvänlig. Bottnen är stenig och korallig. Badskor är ett måste.

The owners are super friendly and very helpfull. Their words (there is no problem whe cannot fix)I had a problem because my phone fell in the water and they did al they can do to help.i really liked the outside bathroom

The property has a great location ideal escape from hectic city of El Nido. The staff was amazing and will do anything to make you feel comfortable and at home. The food was excellent.

The property feels like half of it is under construction. Some areas are nice and well kept while some areas feel abandoned/under construction. The beach was quite dirty unfortunately, even though that isn’t entirely the hotel’s responsibility (they tried to keep their beach area clean)

Mooie locatie, vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen. Rustig, ver weg van alle drukte. Het eten was heerlijk. Vooral de zelfgemaakte tiramisu.

Magnifique endroi paysage incroyable pour les amoureux de la nature du calme et de la simplicité. Et un accueil exceptionnel des propriétaires et de toute l equipe. Des repas délicieux et très variés avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. Tout ca au bord de la plage. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Cadre parfait pour un séjour loin du tourisme, personnel très accueillants. Cabane Grande, sur la plage avec une petite terrasse c'est agréable.

Sicuramente l’essere immersi nella natura e tutto lo staff. (Compreso gli amici a 4zampe) struttura adatta a chi adora gli animali. I pasti erano tutti molto buoni dalla colazione alla cena.

Avevamo prenotato per 4notti ma il giorno prima del nostro arrivo la proprietaria Rochelle, ci contatta per un problema della camera e ci offre di dormire nella villa di un vicino anche lui italiano. Premesso che siamo stati benissimo, ovviamente non abbiamo usufruito a pieno della giornata, in quanto nel resort è fornita una barca per visitare le isole vicine, quel giorno ovviamente non abbiamo potuto farlo. Il disagio da lei creato speravamo di non doverlo pagare, quanto meno non per intero. Altra piccola nota sarebbe bello vedere quel pezzo di spiaggia e le zone vicino alle camere più pulita dalla plastica e oggetti vari.

Beautiful and serene place perfect for relaxation. It has everything you need, including a reliable internet connection. Food is absolutely delicious 🤤, the best Philippine cuisine we tried during our month travelling around this country.

We stayed only two days! We’d have stayed much longer. The only thing that could be improved is the shower pressure/temperature, but this was unimportant for us because the place was magical.

Playa Encantada was amazing! The property is really secluded and beautiful, white sand beach and palm trees. Feels like paradise. The staff were amazing and really really helpful. The food was delicious and good value for money. Would definitely recommend coming here to anyone who wants a relaxing stay by the beach.

The property is right on the beach, overlooking an island where the sun rises each morning, it’s beautiful. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with few distractions to truly relax by the beach, this is an ideal spot.

I arranged an airport transfer for 8am, but the driver didn’t arrive until around 9am. There may have been a miscommunication, but I’d recommend confirming pickup time and location by phone beforehand, as the delay used up all my buffer time and caused unnecessary stress before my flight. The property has set up protected areas for sea turtle hatchlings, which is great to see. My only concern was that the hatchlings were held in a styrofoam box and shown to guests before being released around 9am. This can exhaust them and increase exposure to predators. I’d recommend consulting local conservation authorities to ensure best-practice turtle protection.

Warm, friendly welcome which continued throughout our stay. Amazing, traditionally constructed beach houses stepping down to the sand. Fantastic restaurant with phenomenal, freshly caught seafood. Numerous options for lunch and dinner which changed on a daily basis. A wide variety of beds, loungers and seats for relaxing in the beautiful beach front gardens. Transfers and trips were organised, hassle free and reasonably priced. An amazing experience and an absolute privilege to have stayed here.

Il manque des transats et des coussins car pas assez par rapport aux nombres de logements. Et surtout nettoyer la plage car énormément de morceaux de verre brisés. Très dangereux. Accès très difficile par un chemin très accidenté. Rester sur place et reposez-vous. Prévoir des chaussures d'eau beaucoup de coraux

L’emplacement; la villa qui est splendide avec la vue sur l’océan c’était magnifique. Le personnel très attentif et aux petits soins. Plusieurs options de proposées comme laverie, massage, location scooter etc… nous sommes ravis

The place was enchantingly beautiful and peaceful. The food was fresh and very delicious. We enjoyed using the kayak to explore the surrounding islands and to snorkel. Best of all were the resort‘s people: friendly, interesting and caring beyond what you would expect from a resort‘s staff and owner. I got sick and they gave me medicine, we got stuck in a storm and they did everything to get us back into town in time. They were a true blessing.

This is not a beach resort. It’s a villager who is renting their wooden shack. No air con. No hot water. Food was crap . Middle of nowhere. Unsafe

4 ou 5 grands bungalows d'architecture climatique, à la décoration très soignée, avec terrasse individuelle, très confortables, direct sur la plage et sous les cocotiers. Le management et le personnel sont exceptionnels : ultra chaleureux, sympathiques, dynamiques, efficaces et à l'écoute. La nourriture est tout simplement divine avec, toute fraiche, la pêche du jour. Les recettes, raffinées et saines, varient chaque jour. A recommander très fortement aux amoureux du calme et de la nature.

Tout est parfait.

Le logement est très confortable et cosy. Cet hôtel est un havre de paix pour déconnecter, bien manger et se relaxer loin du tourisme de masse. Les gérants et le personnel sont aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes, un grand merci à eux ! Enfin l’endroit est si paisible que même les tortues viennent pondre devant le restaurant.

Traditional and spacious, we had the Villa and it was gorgeous!

Love how it was situated which we could see the sunrise while in bed! The balcony with the hammock was perfect for relaxing and to get a quick nap.

Rochelle and Alberto are great hosts! The place was very peaceful, surrounded by nature and located next to different islands that is possible to explore by boat (daracuton island)

L emplacement et la sérénité du lieu. L efficacité et la gentillesse du personnel, surtout de Rachel qui s occupé de tout. La sortie sur l île en face très sympa.

La maison est tes vieillotte, il n y a rien pour ranger ou mettre les affaires. Elle mériterait d être rajeunie. Le bruit des chiens la nuit et surtout des gecko dans le toit qui crient toutes les 15mn. Impossible de les faire partir donc de dormir…. La nourriture est correcte mais le petit déjeuner pourrait être meilleur. Wifi très lent mais c est le lieu reculé qui veut ça. Un simple ventilateur sur pied pour aérer la chambre. Il y fait très chaud … c est pas suffisant. Aucun contact avec le patron qui ne parle qu aux clients italiens … c est dommage.

Es war ein super angenehmer Aufenthalt mit allem, was man sich wünscht. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Auch wenn die Unterkunft abgelegen liegt (ca. 45min mit dem Auto von El Nido), war es genau das, was wir erwartet haben: Nächte im Paradies, mit Liegen direkt am Strand, frischen Kokosnüssen, frisch zubereitetem, reichlichen Essen, toller Atmosphäre und vielen Aktivitäten die man dort machen kann. Von Schnorcheln (man kann sich dort Schnorchel und Flossen ausleihen, keine Gebühr) über Island Hopping mit einem privaten Boot über Massagen und Kajak fahren und in der Umgebung wandern und joggen gehen. Für uns persönlich waren die Tiere das Highlight, insbesondere der süßeste Kater, Tiger. Aber auch die Hunde waren alle samt super lieb und süß. Essen war grandios. Ansonsten lässt sich wirklich nichts weiter sagen. Wir waren echt traurig, als wir nach 7 Nächten abgereist sind. Wir wollen echt gerne wiederkommen!!!

Nachts war es schon etwas warm, aber damit muss man auf den Philippinen, die einfach ein warmes Land sind, klarkommen. Außerdem gibt es einen Ventilator, der der Hitze sehr angenehm entgegen wirkt. Auch das Meer und die leckeren Getränke eignen sich tagsüber super als Abkühlung!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had discovered a place that’s truly special. ✨ The surroundings are breathtaking — an unreal beach with crystal-clear water, and a sense of peace that feels almost otherworldly. Every sunrise and sunset felt like a private show put on just for us.🌅 But what made our stay extraordinary wasn’t just the beauty of the place — it was the people. Alberto and Rochelle, welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. They made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their hospitality, care, and passion for their place shine through in every detail, and it created a stay we will never forget. 🌴 The local food that was made in the place fresh each day was delicious 🐠🍍 Playa Encantada is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave — a perfect combination of stunning nature, comfort, and heartfelt human connection. 🇵🇭 We can’t wait to return. We spent 7 wonderful days at Playa Encantada Beach Resort, and it truly felt like a small paradise. From morning to evening we were served delicious homemade meals, and the staff were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. The atmosphere is relaxed, personal, and very homely — perfect if you love animals. Friendly cats and dogs visited us during almost every meal, which made the place feel even more charming. We also had many lovely conversations with the hosts, Alberto and Rochelle, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Every day we spent hours swimming, snorkeling, and simply relaxing with a book right by the water. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great food, warm hospitality, and nature right outside your door, this is the perfect place. We would come back in a heartbeat!

What Could Be Improved (Minor Things Only) These are only small details, and none of them affected our stay in a negative way: There was no air conditioning, which we already knew before booking. However, with the fan provided and the refreshing sea breeze, we slept surprisingly well and didn’t feel uncomfortable at night. The lounge chairs could be a bit more comfortable, though there was a hanging chair available which we often used instead. It’s very important to arrange your transfer directly with the resort. It’s not cheaper to find your own transport, and doing so is much more complicated. Let the hotel handle it — it’s worth it. Overall, these were only minor points in an otherwise fantastic stay.

From the very first moment, this place felt special. The hosts are absolutely wonderful - genuinely warm people who go above and beyond to make sure every guest has everything they need. The entire team is incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready with a smile. You don’t just feel looked after; you feel welcomed. I stayed in one of the beautiful small cabins with an outdoor bathroom, all built with natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. It’s both charming and calming - everything is comfortable, thoughtful, and full of character. And the food is just wonderful. Home-cooked, full of flavor, and prepared with fresh ingredients from local farmers and fishers. The location is pure magic. The resort sits directly on a beautiful beach, surrounded by untouched nature and the wonderful animals that live on the property - friendly dogs and cats, curious pigs, a gentle cow, chickens, ducks… It all adds so much charm and joy to the atmosphere. If you’re looking for peace, this is your spot. It’s incredibly quiet, with hardly any other tourists around. The whole resort is small, just five houses/cabins, which makes the experience feel intimate and personal. This place is a rare gem. I left feeling completely recharged and would always come back. Highly, highly recommended!

The owners and the family taking care of the property made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were offered a range of different filipino insured vegetarian/vegan dishes. The property has lots of animals that are all very friendly, dogs, pigs, a cow etc that all love lots of fuss. We most enjoyed the relaxation available here, nothing but the waves to.listen to whilst everything else is taken care of. Great place to go to recharge and reconnect.

The wifi here comes and goes, and the shower is slow and steady. If these are a deal breaker for you then don't go. If your happy to unwind away from technology and have the patience to take a slow shower, there is nothing not to like 😊

Staying at Playa Encantada was like staying with family, in the most beautiful peaceful surroundings imaginable! After 2 weeks of travelling in the Philippines, this was the restful break we were hoping for, and our expectations were far exceeded. The food was unbelievable, the best we’ve had in the Philippines by far. Rochelle and her fantastic staff made us feel at home from start to finish, making it so hard to leave! Special shoutout to the lovely dogs, the friendly cows and cute pig ❤️

Que no tuviera agua caliente la ducha, el acceso es complicado al resort y que no hay tv.

He puesto la máxima puntuación a todo porque era exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Un sitio de ensueño muy tranquilo, sí, apartado de todo, pero eso es lo que queríamos. Una playa formidable que disfrutamos prácticamente en soledad. El clima no nos acompañó mucho, pero daba igual, la energía que flota en "Playa Encatada" es especial. Los anfitriones, Rochelle y Alberto son magníficas personas y muy cercanas. Nos dio mucha pena irnos de allí, por las buenas vibraciones y por ellos, seguro que volveremos. Vanessa y su familia son encantadores, estuvieron siempre pendientes que todo estuviera bien para nosotros. Cada día comíamos el pescado de la faena del día. También cocinan buenos platos italianos (no en valde Alberto es italiano) y otras opciones. Nosotros nos quedaos allí todo el tiempo, pero puedes alquilar motos para recorrer la isla. Sin lugar a dudas volveremos :)

Staff were great, it was really quiet and we were right on the beach! They had nice dogs and a cat and the food was great, fresh, always on time and a good selection.

La comida es espectacular, abundante y riquisima. Ademas tiene buen cafe y buen vino! El bungalow era muy bonito. La playa tiene coral delante mismo del alojamiento. El personal es superamable. Es un sitio muy recomendable.

Nada, todo estuvo genial

Es un alojamiento al que solo se puede acceder por mar, está ubicado en una playa aislada, ellos se encargan de tus traslados. La comida muy bien. Tuvimos un problema la segunda noche y ellos nos ayudaron en todo momento. Fueron muy amables con nosotros. excelente para desconectar. Vanesa fue encantadora

Las vistas y el trato excepcional

Lo poco accesible que es. Hay que tener en cuenta que llegar en moto es muy complicado por el mal estado del último tramo del trayecto. El hotel te ofrece acercarte en barca dicho tramo lo cual se agradece mucho, lo que si que hay que tener en cuenta que tiene un coste. Aún asi todo perfecto e incluso eso lo hace más especial! :)

Me gustó todo , es un paraíso de tranquilidad . Vanesa y su familia te cuidan muchísimo y su cocina es increíble Te ayudan con todo

Ein Paradies. Wir waren mit der Familie hier. Es ist ein unglaublicher Ort. Die Bungalows waren geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war frisch und lecker. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke Rochelle für wunderbare erholsame Tage.

Nothing

From the airport one only can reach the hotel with a 4×4. We had a sedan and it was the worst drive ever. As we arrived we had a look at the rather dirty beach the basic bungalow, and realized there was not even a restaurant. Although we have paid for 3 nights we returned immedeatly to El Nido proper

Amazing chill ambience, beautiful beach, fantastic food, lovely staff. Excellent place to book if you want to disconnect and get away from it all.

Shower could have had warm water & more volume!

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and had sea views. Every day there was different options for lunch and dinner which were outstanding.

No kettle in the room but the friendly staff gave me coffee every morning.
