La villa tres bien decorée, la petite plage privée, la proximité de secret beach et de l animation skate du soir. L hotel intimiste la gentillesse du personnel

Cuvette des toilettes et pommeau de douche un peu viellots mais bon se sont des details. Un peu de passage sur la route le soir et le vendeur de petits pains qui nous a réveillé le matin de bonne heure. Ceci ne nous a pas empeché de passer un très bon sejour. Location scooter recommandé pour se déplacer car l hotel est un peu isolé

The place was amazing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The cabin was really close to the beach, the pool was cool and nice And the staff was outstanding! The location requires a short drive to General Luna but we managed with the motorbike and the tuktuk. The owner of the place was also lovely! We also booked laundry through them, which smelled wonderful, transportation from the airport to the hotel, and a private boat trip to the three islands. Thank you so much for everything! We will come back again and recommend to anyone who is going to Siargao!

It would have been nice if there was a kettle and mini fridge in the room

We absolutely loved our stay at Soultribe. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of peace, care, and connection that is so rare to find. We stayed in the loft for our first night and immediately fell in love with the space. It was beautiful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. We then spent a few more nights in a beachfront cabana, and it truly felt like a dream. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, seeing the sunlight from bed, and falling asleep with the waves in the background were moments we will never forget. Both spaces are incredible, and you can truly feel how much passion and love the owner has poured into creating this retreat. Every detail, from the beautiful garden and decor to the peaceful atmosphere, feels intentional. The cleanliness and care of the property were exceptional, and we appreciated how beautifully maintained everything was throughout our stay. The team was amazing, kind, welcoming, and always making us feel at home. My favourite space was the outdoor showers; surrounded by nature, beautiful design, and a peaceful atmosphere, they perfectly captured the feeling I was hoping to find: a quiet, thoughtful place to slow down and reconnect. The beachfront cabana was somagical. Waking up by the ocean and watching the sunrise from bed felt unreal. We visited during the second week of July and were lucky to have many beautiful sunny days, but we also experienced an incredible rainstorm that became one of my favourite memories. Watching the storm, hearing the thunder, and seeing the rain outside the window was such a special moment. We also enjoyed a beautiful beach fire one evening and an open-air massage in the upstairs space where they host yoga retreats,both unforgettable experiences. Soultribe is truly a hidden gem. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a beautiful retreat and for making our stay so special. If we return to Siargao, this is where we will stay again. We leave with full hearts and so much gratitude.

It felt like a real luxury secret spot on the island. It was good for having a quiet corner to rest and then great access to the beach.

Our cabin was right by the road which meant sometimes there was lots of noise in the room. But eventually it stopped.

The space is beachside, and the staff is also very, very friendly and very professional as well. The beachfront area is very beautiful. The room is very spacious.

Unfortunately, my room is right beside the road, and they did not inform me beforehand. Also, the curtains are very cheap and are not blackout curtains, and the door is pure glass, so I had trouble sleeping. In addition to hearing all the scooters moving past the street all night, it was also disappointing to know that my place was not beachfront, or as compared to the other cabanas. Basically, the villas are not beachfront while the cabanas are. The menu items are basic, and the coffee was not good. The pool, I felt, was not well maintained. It looked very green instead of clear, and nobody was swimming there. The room's A/C, I think, has not been well maintained. It was very hot even if the A/C is already set to 18°C.

4 points que je recommande de lire avant toute réservation : 1 - La douche sentait les égouts / l’oeuf - nous l’avons fait savoir des le premier mais rien n’a change on ne s’est donc pas douches pendant 2 jours .. 2 - Les images ne correspondent pas à la réalité ( piscine plus petite et mal entretenue dans laquelle on n’a pas envie de se baigner ) 3 - les villas sont trompeuses car pas en bord de mer et même au bord de la route ( bruyant car un dos d’âne est au même niveau donc les scooters accélèrent à tout heure … les chiens aboient la nuit et on entend les voisins ainsi que la pluie .. ) - 4 - nous avons réservé une expédition avec l’hôtel directement pour simplifier l’organisation mais le prix était beaucoup plus élevé que les autres agences de l’île …

It’s near the street.. so you can hear all the motors, people chatting, etc.. also, the bathroom is open.. as in outside the room. I get the concept for sure.. it’s just not ideal for me especially if you need to use the restroom at night..

Peaceful and tranquil. The food was outstanding and moderately priced. The private beach was raked and cleaned from morning to night. The staff could not have been more attentive or accommodating. Really great place to stay in Siargao. Would recommend if you want to relax and enjoy yourself.

- Der Strand ist wunderschön, allerdings ist der gesamte Strand super. Daher würde ich aufgrund der u.g Punkte eher eine andere Unterkunft empfehlen. - Die Betten sind sehr bequem - Die Bungalows an sich sind schön eingerichtet - Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett - Das Yogadeck ist super ausgestattet und sehr schön. Theoretisch könnte man die Unterkunft für Retreats mieten. Das Problem ist jedoch die Straße. Diese hört man bis zum Strand.

- Es war die lauteste Unterkunft, die wir je hatten. Das Problem ist die vielbefahrene Straße welche die Anlage teilt., Zudem waren bei uns sehr laute Arbeiten an den Nachbargrundstücken sowie Karaokestrandpartys auf den Flächen neben der Anlage. - Wir hatten 4 Nächte eine der 2 Villen. Diese befinden sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite und nicht am Strand. Diese Info geht leider aus der Website der Unterkunft nicht hervor, sondern lediglich aus anderen Bewertungen. - Ein Nacht hatten wir dann noch einen Bungalow in der Anlage auf der Meerseite. Da es der vierte in der Reihe war, befand sich das Kopfende unseres Bettes quasi direkt an der Straße. Hin und wieder hat man das Gefühl die Roller und LKW fahren direkt durchs Zimmer (vor allem früh morgens). - Meerblick von dem vierten Bungalow war leider Fehlanzeige, siehe Bilder vom Aufbau der Anlage - Das Essen ist für philippinische Verhältnisse unserer Meinung nach überteuert und dafür sehr wenig. Wir waren jetzt vier Wochen auf den Philippinen unterwegs und hier stimmt leider das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht - Das Warmwasser riecht stark nach Schwefel

Mooi verblijf en heerlijk dat het aan een eigen stuk rustig strand zit. De hut is ruim en schoon en de buitendouche is mooi. De airco doet het goed en het bed ligt lekker.

Als je warm water uit de douche wilde, ging het water naar zwavel ruiken, dus eigelijk kon je alleen koud douchen. Dit hebben we gemeld maar hier geen oplossing of terugkoppeling over gekregen. Het lag vrij ver uit het centrum wat op zich prima te doen is met de scooter, alleen zat alsnog aan een grote weg, waardoor je best last had van geluid tijdens het slapen. Ik vond de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet echt goed. Daarnaast was alles wat je via het verblijf kon regelen (bv massage, yogales, scooter etc) net wat duurder dan we op andere plekken in Siargao / de Filipijnen tegenkwamen.

Soultribe was great! The beach view was fabulous, close enough to the main areas but also far enough away. Everyone at retreat helped us with laundry, hiring a car and everything associated with it and then got us from the airport and back again.

Les bungalows sont très confortables et la décoration raffinée. La salle de bains extérieure est un concept très sympa, mais pas forcément adapté à la région de Siargao ou il pleut parfois beaucoup. La douche extérieur super, mais les toilettes + l’évier pour se préparer lorsqu’il pleut c’est pas l’idéal.

Endroit paradisiaque, idéalement situé proche de Général Luna. Nombreuses activités possibles via l’hôtel, navette aéroport, Tuk Tuk, scooter, massage… Personnel d’une grande gentillesse, au petit soin. Les repas et petits déjeuners sont délicieux. Coup de cœur pour les chiens qui sont si gentils

Me encantó el alojamiento la posición es ideal frente a la playa, las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas y el baño exterior me pareció impresionante, la playa que tiene enfrente es preciosa y además lo que más destaco es que tiene una sala de yoga con vistas al mar, donde podréis estirar por las mañanas y relajarte

Por la noche se escuchan los gallos, yo recomendaría al alojamiento de dejar de poner este oído en las mesitas de noche

Everything was top notch. We stayed in the 2 bed villas in the back and the accommodations were super comfortable and clean! We had a lovely Christmas meal with the owner Tracy and her family. It was very special to share a meal like that with other traveler’s and the hotel family.

Only thing I can really fault is the road our bungalow was on was bit noise on Christmas Day but I think that was the case everywhere on the island!

Highly recommended !! Super nice and friendly staff. Very clean and comfy with it's own private beach. Having the shower outside really gives you that tropical vibe. Location is great being just few mins away from the busy General Luna. Also had their own bikes to rent, super convenient.

El alojamiento es sinónimo de paz. Todo está enfocado en el relax total de los clientes. Las cabañas son cómodas con todo lo necesario. El baño en el exterior es una experiencia increíble. El personal es muy servicial. Tiene piscina pequeña y acceso a una playa directamente. Ofrecen servicios que lo hacen más cómodos como alquiler de motos desde allí, yoga,masajes o traslado al aeropuerto. Fuimos de luna de miel y nos decoraron la habitación a la llegada, todo un detalle. Los desayunos que ofrecen son una maravilla.

La comida a veces está supeditada a la disponibilidad que tengan. Reservamos la habitación con vistas directas al mar (precio más alto) y finalmente no estuvimos alojados en la primera cabaña.

This was by far the most comfortable bed, best bathroom and beautiful views. The staff were lovely and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We were in the villa closest to the road, so we did catch the road noise throughout the night. It is a little further away from the heart of GL but I enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle.

DISGUSTING and UNHYGIENIC Insects in the Bed, Dirt Everywhere, Garbage Outside, and Constant Noise To show the full extent of this experience, I have attached photos throughout the review. What we encountered was far beyond acceptable — and travelers deserve to know the truth. This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disturbing and unhygienic travel experiences I’ve ever had — and I travel frequently. I urge future travelers to be cautious and not be misled by the photos or descriptions online. The reality of this property is far from what is advertised. ⸻ Severe hygiene and infestation issues: • Worms and insects were found inside the bed, under the sheets, beneath the pillows, and even within the mattress itself. • The sleeping area was clearly infested — lifting the sheets revealed visible bugs and worms (see photos). • Cockroaches were present in the bathroom, and various other insects and small creatures were found throughout the room. • The sofa was stained, dusty, and emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. • The room is located next to a garbage dump, producing a constant foul smell. • Poor construction meant the room was not sealed properly, allowing insects, dust, and odors to enter easily. ⸻ Nonstop traffic noise – like sleeping on the street The property is located just a few meters from a busy main road — something that is not disclosed in the listing. There is no sound insulation, and the noise from cars, motorbikes, trucks, and buses goes on all day and night. It was nearly impossible to sleep. ⸻ Unprofessional, evasive, and dishonest management While the on-site staff were kind and apologetic, the owner was entirely absent and refused to engage with the situation. When we contacted him via WhatsApp, we were told he was “shopping in South Africa” and unavailable.

Delusione totale: alloggio sporco, rumoroso, senza igiene e con gestione inaccettabile Purtroppo la mia esperienza presso Soultribe Beach Retreat è stata estremamente negativa. La struttura non rispecchia in alcun modo ciò che viene mostrato nell’annuncio su Booking. Fin dal nostro arrivo, siamo rimasti scioccati dalle condizioni reali dell’alloggio, che si è rivelato inadatto, insalubre e molto lontano dagli standard minimi di ospitalità. Problemi principali riscontrati: • Alloggio senza igiene e visibilmente sporco: lenzuola e divani macchiati, polvere e sporcizia ovunque. • Insetti nel letto (vermi), scarafaggi nel bagno, e presenza di altri insetti e animali nella stanza. • Odori sgradevoli costanti, dovuti anche alla presenza di un deposito di spazzatura accanto alla stanza, come documentato da foto. • La cabana è costruita con materiali precari (bambù e paglia) e offre nessuna protezione da insetti o rumori esterni. • La struttura si trova esattamente a ridosso di una strada trafficata, con auto, motorini e autobus che passano continuamente, anche durante la notte. Dormire è stato impossibile. Il personale della struttura è stato gentile e comprensivo, e ha ammesso che capiva il nostro disagio. Tuttavia, il proprietario si è rifiutato di intervenire, affermando che era occupato in Sudafrica. Quando abbiamo chiesto una soluzione (cancellazione o rimborso), hanno tentato di farci annullare la prenotazione da soli, così da poter rivendere la stanza – un comportamento scorretto che ci avrebbe fatto perdere il diritto al rimborso. Dopo aver rifiutato questa proposta, ci siamo visti accusare falsamente di aver minacciato lo staff, un chiaro tentativo di intimidirci e di mettere a tacere la nostra segnalazione. In conclusione: Si tratta di una struttura assolutamente da evitare, soprattutto per chi si aspetta un ambiente pulito, tranquillo e rispettoso dei clienti.

It seems like a very idyllic spot, away from the town center and by the sea. In reality, however, things are different. The accommodations no longer meet modern standards, especially considering the price. There are much better accommodations available! The houses are located on a main road and are made of single-layered wood. you also have to live out of the suitcase because there are no shelves or cupboards available. You can literally hear what the neighbors are saying inside the house! The sea is full of seaweed and the boy who cleans the beach simply throws plastic bottles and containers back into the sea. The subboards you are allowed to use have sharp edges.

Perfectly, idyllic location, complete with shared pool and full beachfront access. The staff went above & beyond to accommodate, often providing things to improve the experience without being asked (bringing breakfast to the room, setting dinner up on the beach). The views were beautiful, being able to see the ocean from our bed!! The dogs on site and cute & friendly, the reception staff made everything simple: bike rental, laundry, baggage hold - everything was no problem :)

the only minor improvement would be perhaps a shared fridge for guests, to store small drinks/snacks as the bar closes quite early, but the secitiry were always happy to provide ice for dris and fresh milk for tea, even if we felt bad personally disturbing them!

Great location if you are looking to relax. Nice beach in front of the facilities. The owners were super welcoming and nice.

Too close to the road, you could hear all the vehicles. Prices too high at the restaurant. Please if it's a "retreat" don't allow noisy kids. The tour offered were super inflated, you could find the same ones half the price (and more) anywhere else.

Beautiful cottages.... loved the room, the comfu bed, the front porch and hammock, the outdoor bathroom... and the tropical beachfront steps away!

Some common area music (any music - even quiet relaxing music) would have been really nice!

It’s clean, friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed staying at the cabana. Linens are fresh and smells nice.

The cabana shakes a bit when we move around and it wakes me up as a light sleeper.

The property is well maintained and near the beach. It has a rustic charm about it. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was cool enough. Lots of plugs for electronic devices and good lighting around the place. Having beach towels readily available was great. They also have card games which were enjoyed by our family. It was also good to be able to rent motor bikes easily as they were already available at the property. The staff were very accommodating and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Special mention to Giselle. Even gave mosquito coils and spray to help us during our stay (rainy season). There was a mis-communication about the extra bed and transportation but it was sorted out promptly and the reason for the oversight was explained to us.

The location is far from the town centre so you will have to have transport. But transport was easily accessible (see positive comments) and arranged by staff. There is no insulation on the walls so you can hear every motor vehicle or bike passing the road (since the property is in front of the road). You can also hear the conversations of people outside. The water pressure of the showers are very low and despite having 2 showers, you can only really use one shower well because of the lack of pressure when they are both used. The design of the bathroom had the right idea but the functionality was lacking - the plants on the side look nice but water and soap did not drain properly. This also attracted a lot of mosquitoes after showering due to being damp. The plants were dying leaving a lot of leaves on the shower floor even when cleaned daily. Also, the floor between the shower and the vanity gets really wet after a shower. They also asked us not to flush any toilet paper down the toilet and to put all used toilet paper in the bin - which is fine but they did not clean the bin every day so had tissue overflowing. Towels were stained and had holes although these were changed when we asked for them to be replaced.

Team very friendly and caring

We absolutely loved our stay at Soultribe. It’s such a special little spot. Laid-back, beautifully styled, and right on this quiet stretch of beautiful beach. The cabins are designed so you wake up to ocean views, and at low tide you can even walk across to a tiny island just offshore. The food was delicious, especially the chia and there was another breakfast dish I loved, but I can't remember the name. Our friend who sampled practically every variation of Adobe, rated Soultribe's the best on the island. Big shoutout to Tracy and the all of the staff who were next-level friendly. Thank you all! The surf instructors too were also great. We can't wait to come back!

The accommodation was outstanding I was more than happy with the friendliness of the staff Was able to hire a scooter with them as well. It was set in an idyllic location right on the waters edge.

A truly relaxing getaway with its cozy and beautiful surroundings. Located right in front of the beach, so we had stunning view while having breakfast. Highly recommended for those looking for a serene and scenic stay!

There was a lot of black powder-ish thing on our bed and pillows. We didn’t know what it was.

Ivy at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. She walked us through options for our stay and helped us book several excursions making it so easy. We made use of the free paddle boards and the private beach which was a great touch. We also loved the food from the resort!

It's a little far from the main area of General Luna but staff was extremely accommodating in always arranging tuktuks for us.

Just a suggestion: put a bask of water to clean feet before entering into the cabana :)

The staff was very sweet and the kitchen menu was delicious. Would have been nice to have more options since we ate there every day. But it was tasty.

The power went out a lot. But there was back up generators that took a while to turn back on. The a/c didn't work well and saw a rat at our window. Most times we took a tuk tuk from town, they didn't know where this hotel was. But otherwise it was fine.

I like the idea of the place very quiet and nature feels. The staff is really nice.

I don’t know if we came at the wrong time but the bathroom is not well maintained. It was raining so its a pain that a trash can is not available inside the room. There is no toilet seat and sitting in the toilet is very painful. So many little insects crawling and wood dust falling from the ceiling.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cabin were beautiful, such a stunning place to stay and the food and drinks were very nice also

We were on our honeymoon and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly, they arranged everything for us: renting a scooter, going on a day trip visiting different islands, taxi to airports, massages, etc.

Everything was PERFECT. Swimming pool, service, I was sure that I was taking cares off :)

The location is outside of General Luna, which means it's very quiet, and you don't hear anything. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The staff was very accommodating and the food was good as well. They also have paddle boards which you can use for free! The rooms were spacious and clean and the outside shower is idyllic.

in our opinion it‘s quite expensive, also the food/juices in the restaurant. for that price it would have been nice if at least the yoga was included. we chose malinao to have a quiet time and to relax especially in the morning. the bungalows are very good hear through and ours was just next to the restaurant/reception, so we hear the noise from there very clearly starting at 7am. so sleeping in was a bummer. also we were unlucky, that there was a renovation from the bungalow next to us, so we had construction sound starting before 7am. would be nice if that would have started later. there where other guests which were treated differently/better than us in the restaurant (e.g. nicely arranged cuttlery with fabric napkins, etc). we didnt know the reason for that and it didnt bother us, but it left a special taste to it.
