Quiet road which is very peaceful. Room is clean and spacious w/great view. Private Beach, Bar and awesome food my favorite is the boneless chicken and chicken BBQ skewers😍 Also walking distance to Secret Beach.

Alles, die Lage ist top. Secret Beach, Sunset Road in der Nähe. General Luna mit dem Roller in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Malinao Beach direkt vor der Tür mit toller Beach Bar. Gutes Essen vorhanden. Den Strand hat man quasi für sich alleine zum Schwimmen oder für lange Spaziergänge. Personal top, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Special thanks to Reg, you are doing great!

Maria and Carla were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for Maria. Beds were sooi comfy! Everything was absolutely spotless.Would definitely recommend and we look forward to staying next time 😊

Spacious room, pleasant interior, great staff that will help with everything like motorcycle rent etc, nice beach bar for breakfast where I could be totally alone on the beach front, room had nice view to greenery and palms.

Chemical smell coming from bathroom, it is intense but once you close bathroom doors it is ok. Noise coming from old farthing motorcycle exhausts from the street was sometimes disturbing but luckily they stop at some time late in the night… This place works best with renting a motorcycle

The place could have been somewhat nice, if not for the unacceptable showstoppers that terminated our stay prematurely. It is right by the beach and the rooms are affordable compared to the standard.

Our stay was a terrible experience and I recommend that everyone avoid this place. The island has numerous much better options. We had to terminate our stay prematurely because the wifi was so terrible I couldn't use it for work, and additionally there was no hot water. We suggested a reasonable compromise to the staff, but they refused to refund so much as a cent of the 5 nights we had booked. The very uncomfortable chairs and the inconvenient location are additional drawbacks. Still, all the flaws could perhaps be forgiven if the staff had at least showed themselves to be reasonable and fair. But the inflexibility and lack of understanding we were met with was appalling and absolutely unacceptable.

Great spot just over a fairly quiet road from the beach. Has its own beach front restaurant and bar. Staff are very friendly.

There’s speed bumps at both sides of the property so scooters, tuk tuks and cars have to slow down and then speed up. It makes it noisier than it needs to be and especially noticeable in the morning when trying to sleep. I don’t think it makes it safer either as everyone takes the bumps at different speeds so it’s actually harder to judge when it’s okay to cross.

Locations was superb. Away from the noise but not too far from the center. The staff and the owner are also super helpful.

Not accomodated on our first night😭The host was difficult to communicate with and very inconsiderate of the late check-in times. Our ferry arrived at 9:30pm and the host strictly implemented the 9pm check-in time eventhough our booking starts that day. We were unaccomodated on our first day. Not so welcome in Siargao! So disappointing. 😭We were left scrambling to look for a night stay in a hostel in GL. Host said that no staff is around beyond 9pm at the site( so good luck with your lives if there is an emergency).

Quiet place with lots of green. Beach is also just a few steps away. Staff are very accommodating. Rooms are clean, well-appointed and spacious. Food are delicious with big portions.

Super nice sea view, at least in the 2nd floor. Drinks in the fridge always available. Beach bar just on the other side of the street. Big room & balcony. Friendly staff. Small problems get fixed immediately. Not too many roosters around there. :)

Hot water not constant. During HEAVY raining water can get from the balcony into the room. 2nd floor rooms can be a bit noisy because of the birds under the roof and in the trees, but that's not really a problem in my opinion.

The location is away from the crowd, so you get the relaxing vibes by yourself and the quietness in the morning which gives you the solemnity start of the day. The owner is very accommodating and helpful when we needed some assistance.

I wouldnt say that i didnt like, but i wish the staff/manager knew that when a customer or client request for a cleaning, it should be done regardless of your schedule or routine. In our case, we stayed for 5 days/4 nights, so after two nights i requested for a cleaning which the staff told me the cleaning is after 3 nights, which for me as a traveler doesn't really make sense at all. but we respect their schedule and didnt make a fuss about it.

Breach in front was not the nicest, but it is not far away from secret beach, one of the best sandy beaches on that coastline.

Set about 10 mins from general luna town and perfect as we had a little white sand beach opposite to chill on and then jumped on our bike to to the town for anything we wanted Lovely setting here and loved the room with the wood finished touches and bathroom was gorgeous Owner was really nice guy had a good chat very welcoming and another nice touch was they were hacking down coconuts and gave me one to drink out of it for free

This hotel in Siargao is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by its perfect location, right in front of a stunning beach with an awesome bar, ideal for relaxing while watching the sunset. The rooms are spotless, super clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the kind where you sleep like a baby after a day of exploring the island. The service is top-notch, with an incredibly friendly and attentive staff always ready to help with a smile, making the stay even more special. Honestly, everything about this hotel is super cool, from the location to the comfort and the outstanding service. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Siargao, this is THE place. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Quite cozy place with beautiful beach side

The place is very homey. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I love the beach view and the vibe of this hotel. Staffs were nice and courteous. They always responded to our request. The Location is good if you are looking for a relaxing place away from the busy area. Near the secret beach. They have their own Night bar.

They are very strict in the check out time. The reception and the check in time also is not 24 hours so if the flight arrival is quite late there might be a problem checking in. Limited accessibility to convenient store and carenderia, although they have their own restuarant.

A little further from Grand Luna but no issue with a bike or tuk tuk getting there.

We stayed for six nights at this gorgeous slice of paradise. Seaview balcony and a cozy beachfront bar that serves great breakfast and food options. The sweet hard working staff arranged a motorbike and airport transfers. Room is spacious and comfy with a silent aircon. Motorbike ride to busy Gen. Luna is 10 mins.

No warm water (in room 1), despite several requests to adress this, no explanation was offered nor action undertaken.

The location its not that close or far from the city, the bathroom and most of all the staff they were all very helpful.

on the day of checking in myself , partner and 2 children had to wait over 2 hours from check in time before we could go to our room as repairs where be done to air conditioning. Then by the time we got to room and unpacked there was no food and had to order in , children were hungry. Also as I am 58 years old with lower back issues I had to walk up a very steep flight of steps and was not informed of the room placement. Then there was the total lack of hot water , again I do not care but the children do . And to add to the list during the night it rained very heavily and I woke up to use the bathroom and the floor was saturated, this alone could have been very serious as I nearly slipped getting out of bed , not to mention water and electricity , possibility of electrocution .

Large and beautiful rooms. Good location away from the noisy Luna grande but still not far. Extremely nice staff. There is a nice beach in front with kids and families. Very cool and relaxing atmosphere. You feel at home.

The split type aircon was broken. They installed a portable aircon that was so loud. The water heater was not working. The staff literally pulled the plug.

I had a great time in Lagkaw! My room was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The beach bar/restaurant has very good food and also a very good breakfast. The staff and the owner are very friendly, sociable and very accommodating. I felt very comfortable! I would come back immediately!

Very nice rooms, super friendly staff and the manager, Brad, is a very friendly guy who treats the employees with much respect. Also we really liked the beach bar, unfortunately it is closed Monday and Tuesday, but for a good reason - The manager told us they only hire staff from the same village, so they are lacking people at the moment and do not want the existing staff to work 7 days a week. Great attitude!

No dark coloured courtains so it gets bright in the rooms very early. But this was like the only thing we found a little annoying.

The location is perfect away from the town centre but near enough if you wanted to go there for a bite to eat or a night out

It was very cosy and kind of nice to live a bit from General Luna. The staff was really nice and they had a nice breakfast and a beach bar with god food. You can rent motorbikes and the staff spoke English really well.

They only cleaned every third day which was a bit of a stretch.

Located near the beach, in a quiet area, this property is the right place to stay, if you seek to spend your vacation in a relaxing laissez-faire way. The property comes with a beach bar, where you can enjoy good music and some snacks and of course beer and cocktails all day long, at quite reasonable prices. Brad, the host is a very nice guy and made us feel like home. The staff is friendly and always helped with our demands.

Big room with beautiful view over the garden and the sea. Surrounded by nature and in a quiet location. We loved to walk along the white sandy beach. Staff is kind.

No hot water. Very limited food options. No sweet options for breakfast, no vegetarian/healthy food available. Not many restaurants around, only in the center. Far from the center and tuk tuk are not always easy to find.

The property is not what we expected no hot water and u put us in 3 bedrooms and we ended up paying almost 20k with no breakfasts included when we requested it

Lovely good size room and a bonus was a water despenser with unlimited water, no need to buy plastic bottles! The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful! The location is out of town and quiet. The restaurant/bar is lovely on the beach, a bit limited menu though. We would recommend you rent a scooter, as there are only a few restaurants within walking distance. Great beach for swimming at high tide and walking at low tide. We can really recommend this lovely place!

A couple of sun lounges with a sun umbrella on the beach side would have been a bonus.

Everything was exactly what we were hoping for : away from the city but easy to get there by tricycle, super calm, beautiful 180° sea view from all rooms, beautiful private beach and beach bar, super breakfast, and very very nice team ... very helpful for tricycle, car rental, laundry etc. We could not have been happier for our 1st week in Philippines ... !!

I like the location of the Villas in Brgy Malinao. I like the morning view and the Bar. You can stay for a while in the evening. Everything is peaceful. Everyone is approachable and friendly.

The best resort around General Luna town. The host was super friendly Canadian guy from Vancouver Island. Everything was set up by western standards. Beds were comfy and nice. Beach bar was super chilling. Staff was amazing. Absolutely fantastic experience.

This place is amazing! A picturesque location right on the beach, with bar facilities open from 12-8pm most days (Wed-Sun), where we met lots of friendly travellers, locals and expats. Brad and his team were friendly and helpful and gave us some great tips on how to spend our days in Siargao. Lagkaw is a quiet and peaceful location, with a super chill atmosphere where you can truly relax. but it’s also only a 10min tricycle ride from General Luna (and even closer to Secret Beach). We opted not to hire our own motorbikes, but it was very easy to get a cheap and quick ride into town from one of the local tricycle drivers. Kuya Tata was a very reliable and friendly tricycle driver and even took us on a private land tour at a very reasonable price. Many thanks Brad and team for this fantastic week in your tropical paradise!

Lovely big private room away from main block, food was good at the bar on the beach, very friendly and helpful staff assisting me with my tours and onward travel. Loved that it was away from the noise of the town with a great view of the sea.

The shower had no door so the floor got wet nothing else
