Pleins de lézards ont débarquer dans ma chambre et quand j’ai appelé la réception personne ne et venu à 1h du matin je n’ai pas pu dormir et le lendemain j’ai dû attendre encore jusqu’au 3 eme jour pour changer de chambre croyez moi en vaccances on veut dormir et se reposer et avec des lézards dans la chambre pour moi c’était pas possible !

Snídaně byly perfektní , bohaté a chutné. Čerstvé ovoce, zelenina. Výborné pečivo, sýry. Kuchyň perfektní.

The facilities and beautiful setting created a wonderful place to fully relax and enjoy the Mediterranean scenery. The staff was incredibly kind and went out of the way to make our stay special. The selection of wine and food was really good and the specialty restaurants were perfect for a romantic dinner.

Les chambres étaient spacieuses, la nourriture de l’hôtel très bonne peu importe le restaurant. Ce qui était particulièrement appréciable est la réactivité du personnel pour rendre le séjour agréable et remédier à toute contrariété qui pourrait pointe le bout de son nez mais surtout leur gentillesse. Des cours de pilate reformer à la demande avec Joanna qui étaient fabuleux avec vue sur la mer. Un hôtel très kid friendly et très calme. On reviendra avec joie.

Muy poca intimidad de las habitaciones. La habitacion tenia arañas y olia mal. El personal no tenia ninguna formacion en alergias alimentarias y poca voluntad de ayudar. Solamente el chef al que vi una vez si fue muy atento.

The resort itself is beautiful, spacious and very well maintained. The grounds and pools are lovely, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the food and the facilities, and the resort has everything needed for a high-quality family vacation. The Guest Relations staff were also polite and pleasant whenever we contacted them. Overall, the property itself is impressive and we enjoyed many aspects of our stay.

Unfortunately, the level of service did not always match the standard of the resort or the price. Towels and bathrobes were not consistently replaced, even when left on the floor to be changed, and several simple requests required repeated follow-ups. We asked for bottles of water, which took a long time to arrive, and also requested a device that would allow us to watch Netflix. Despite several requests, it was never delivered. This was especially frustrating because the Wi-Fi connection in our room was not good enough for streaming. We were also particularly disappointed regarding our daughter’s 13th birthday. We informed the hotel in advance and were specifically told that a small surprise would be prepared in the room. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared and her birthday was not acknowledged at all. We were not expecting anything elaborate — even a small note or simple gesture would have been appreciated. For a resort of this category and price range, we expected more consistent service, better attention to detail and a more personal level of hospitality.

Tuvimos la mamá suerte que había mal olor en la habitación, avisamos a recepción e intentaron arreglar el problema . Sin embargo el mal olor bajó un poco pero seguía. Esperaba que nos cambiaran de habitación pero no sucedió.

The spa treatments were excellent . The spa manager and the team went above and beyond to help us with our queries. The sunset and views in general were beautiful. The food was good.

The service standard across the resort was not consistent. Some staff members were great (especially the spa manager) others were terrible. The service was often slow, and there were language barriers. The resort is a long way from the town so you do have to eat and stay at the resort unless you have a car. This is the difference between a good resort and a great resort .. consistency in providing good customer service across all areas!

L’emplacement est très bien avec sa plage privée et plusieurs piscines (dont une adultes uniquement. Coté plage, il y a de nombreuses chaises longues, ce qui permet d’en avoir sans devoir se précipiter de bonne heure. De l’eau fraîche nous ait servie gratuitement ce qui est très agréable. Coté piscine principale, les gens réservent leurs transats avant le petit déjeuner 😡! Le restaurant matin et soir est servi sous forme de buffets. Il y a du choix, nous y avons très bien mangé. Les terrasses sont très agréables et spacieuses. Il y a un spa, les prix ne sont pas excessifs(90€ pour un massage d’une heure). La chambre est jolie, le ménage est fait tous les jours. De nombreuses bouteilles d’eau y sont déposées. Le dernier jour nous avons eu l’agréable surprise d’avoir un cadeau (un savon à l’huile d’olive, un pot de miel de 250 ml, de l’huile d’olive 100 ml et des loukoums). Les extérieurs sont très propres et bien entretenus.

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec piscine partagée. Nous pensions que c’était une piscine/couloir qui passait devant nôtre chambre, alors que c’est simplement une petite piscine à milieu de 7 chambres avec 2 bains de soleil réservés par chambre. Il n’y a donc pas d’intérêt à prendre cette option. L’hôtel est isolé de toute animation extérieure. Sans voiture, la seule occupation est de rester à l’hôtel entre piscine et plage. Coté animation du soir, il n’y a pas grand chose, à part un peu de musique dans un petit bar, c’est très dommage car le lieu se prêterait à faire quelque chose d’animé qui ferait rester les gens dehors après le repas, d’autant plus qu’à 21h30 le restaurant range tout, c’est trop tôt. Nous devons nous dépêcher d’aller dîner au plus tard à 20h30, alors qu’après il n’y a plus rien à faire.

Het uitzicht vanuit de restaurants. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Onze kamer was ruim en leuk eigen zwembad.

Over het algemeen is het hotel enorm verouderd. We hadden de op een na duurste kamer (die was oké, maar ook verouderd). Het hoofdzwembad was vuil, de zetels waren vuil, de douches waren vuil. Plastieken bekers en bestek. Het ontbijt en eten aan het zwembad en roomservice waren niet lekker. Het eten in Asterias was oke, maar weinig smaak. Het eten in Elia was lekker. Spuitwater bij het ontbijt was bij betalen… Over het algemeen is het hotel zijn prijs absoluut niet waard. Wij hebben veel te veel betaald voor hetgeen we kregen.

The resort is lovely and facilities are very stylish. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, as was the bathroom. The included breakfast buffet was lavish and very extensive. We dined at all of their restaurants and we enjoyed them very much. The servers were attentive and helpful with the gluten free needs of one of our party.

The woman who greeted us at the front desk was cold and authoritative.

The facilities were lovely and having semi private pools and main facilities allowed for calmer afternoons with the kids. The beach has two parts which is fabulous. The staff were outstanding and and kids area really became one of our highlights! Katerina was incredible with creative crafts for our girl and toys to play in and out of the pool with both kids. She always came with something new and read the mood very well.

Our check in took 1 hour and 15 mins which is far too long especially with a 1 and 4 year old!

The room and the private pool could be cleaned more better, but it was o.k just not 5 stars.... And the beds could be more comfy.

The setting, adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea, was idyllic. The layout of the facility provided privacy and the opportunity to completely relax. The food was excellent.

We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Luxury Villa, which was absolutely beautiful. The private pool was amazing, and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. The resort itself is well maintained, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The service was excellent, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with outstanding service.

The resort is built on a hillside, so there are many stairs throughout the property. Unfortunately, many of the stairways don't have handrails, which can make it difficult and even unsafe for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. We were also surprised that a 1-liter bottle of water at dinner cost €5, which felt overpriced. Another downside was the lack of privacy around our private pool. There was no wall or divider separating the outdoor area from the neighboring villa, so it was easy to see each other. Finally, the resort is located in a quiet, remote area. While that creates a peaceful atmosphere, it also means that all attractions, towns, and places to visit require a drive.

We stayed here as a couple in the private pool suite with a sea view, and it was absolutely stunning. The suite was beautiful, peaceful, and the view was simply breathtaking. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety of delicious food, with plenty of choices every day. The beach was another highlight, with very comfortable sunbeds and crystal clear water, perfect for relaxing and swimming. The location is excellent for anyone who wants to explore Crete during the day and unwind in the evening. It is conveniently located between some of the island’s most beautiful attractions, including Chania, Heraklion, Knossos, Preveli Beach, and Rethymno. Our favorite part of the entire stay was having dinner every evening while enjoying an unforgettable sunset over the sea. It made every night feel truly special. We highly recommend this resort and would happily stay here again!

The personnel is kind, attentive and friendly. Especially, Mr. Vasilis and his team are amazing. They do their best to guarantee guest comfort and satisfaction. Their service was top-notch. The room amenities were quite ok. The hotel and rooms are not old, contrary to what some stated in the reviews. Everything is clean and well maintained. The beach is pretty nice with two bars, nice sand and minimal waves. It's ideal for little children who like playing in the sand or swimming in calm waters. Great experience overall.

Große und schöne Anlage relativ abgelegen. Kein störender Lärm und direkt am Meer. Hotel hat eigenen geschützten Strandabschnitt, der auch bei unruhiger See genutzt werden kann. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker. Es gibt mehrere gute Restaurants und jeden Tag eine interessante Veranstaltung.

Die Sauberkeit lässt leider etwas zu wünschen übrig. Gerade in den Hotelzimmern ist es selbst nachdem die Putzkräfte da waren nicht ganz sauber. Das entspricht keinem 5*-Standard und schon gar nicht zu dem Preis. Die Parkplätze sind sehr eng und es ist etwas schwierig einzuparken mit einem größeren Auto. Allerdings kann auch vor dem Hotel geparkt werden. Leider kann auf den Smart TV keine Smartfunktion genutzt werden, da dort nur das Hotelsystem läuft.

Grandioser Strand zum Baden und geniesen. Die Privatepool- Zimmer sind super.

Der var super venligt personale over det hele. Og faciliteterne er bare helt fantastiske. Vi kunne let have brugt flere dage der. Der er helt klart også den flotteste solnedgang fra hotellet. Buffeen var super lækker og var god til at variere, super friske frugt og grønt, både lokalt og internationalt mad. Vi rejste en lille baby og det var super let.

Recomand acest hotel tuturor celor care au un zbor de noapte. Este un hotel nou, cu o curățenie impecabilă, lenjerie nouă și plăcut parfumată. Designul este modern și elegant, iar salteaua și pernele sunt foarte confortabile. Serviciile, atenția personalului și nivelul de confort sunt demne de un hotel de 5 stele.

La struttura è nuova, molto bella, dotata di tutti i comfort. Molto grande , ben organizzata nei minimi dettagli.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist durchgehend sehr nett, der Komfort und der Service erstklassig. Der Strand könnte etwas schöner sein, aber die Salzwasser-Pools und alles drum herum hat uns das vergessen lassen. Wir haben während des Aufenthalts nichts vermisst!

Nice property with a huge salt water pool. Very friendly staff and good overall service.

Unfortunately the beach was very ugly since it’s a synthetically created bay with concrete rocks and quite dirty sand. This was a real disappointment for us, since it was not clear by the photos. The prices for drinks and food were totally overpriced considering the quality.

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Blue resort, the whole hotel area is stunning! the beach is beautiful and very convenient. Perfect place to relax. Breakfasts are delicious with a great view and we also loved the greek table to choose food from. You can also rent a basketball/tennis court, great spots for a picnic as well :) Everyone is very friendly and the location outside of the city is actually an advantage. We would love to come back some day.

Checking in was a nightmare, it took us 20+ minutes, not sure if it was an inexperienced staff or what. The pool water was very salty, the pool also closes very early.

Le buffet est très varié, le local est magnifique, la mer est si propre et avce facile, j’ai pas eu besoin même de sortir de l’hôtel c’était tellement beau que tu pourrais changer de place entre les piscines privées et ouvertes…. Entre plage et restaurant/ bar… l’équipe était super amicale et professionnelle !!

El hotel está muy bien. En un sitio muy bonito y las instalaciones están muy bien. El restaurante Elia, ofrece comida de calidad un poco más elaborada. El personal es amable.

The property is great. The rooms are spacious and all have balconies, the bathroom is quite spacious and well equipped. Both breakfast and dinner buffets have great selections of dishes which change everyday. The staff is very attentive and helpful.

The property is a bit in the middle of nowhere. There isn't much around to see or do. You will have to take a taxi to go do any activity. The biggest disappointment and a bit of a confusing thing was that the pool was open only from 10am-6pm and spa from 10:30-7pm. It is a vacation resort, these timings are too restrictive. If you spend the day out hiking, you would want to come back and go for a swim or get a massage. But you can't do that because both are already closed. When the summer days are so long, it seems odd to close the pool at 6pm. Also, keep in mind, the pool is salt water. It was a rude surprise when we first went in.

The location, the facilities and the overall service and people welcoming made it a perfect stay.

The buffet was excellent, with great variety and quality, and the resort itself had everything we could possibly wish for. It is the kind of place where you can just relax, enjoy the sunshine, the good food, and the wonderful service without feeling the need to go anywhere else. Byli jsme velice spokojení, úžasné místo na odpočinkovou dovolenou bez starostí. Celý resort The Royal Blue bych ve své dokonalosti přirovnal k nedalekému historickému paláci Knossos! Vše potřebné na dosah, gurmánská kuchyně, čistota a neskutečně přátelský, vstřícný personál jak v restauraci, tak ve službách a recepci. Určitě se tam vrátíme, děkujeme!

An exceptional stay! We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a villa, which was absolutely incredible. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed for relaxation. A truly memorable experience!

The Royal Blue is beautifully designed like a little village on a hill in nice walking distance to the pool and sea. The rooms and restaurants are beautifully furnished, the staff is very friendly and cordial, yet professional and the food is diverse and very tasty. We also really appreciated our warm welcome at the hotel. A buggy-driver came to pick us up and bring us to reception, where we received two welcome drinks and some sweets. We even got an upgrade to the presidential suite for free which included a private hot tub on our balcony. All in all it was an amazing stay and we would love to come back for another trip!

The thalassotherapy was a little disappointing (basically you get to use an indoor pool), however it was included in our stay, so we didn’t have to pay for it.
