Rooms very clean. Had everything we needed

Hot tubs could have been hotter.

Toilets too far away. Good if you are fit. I got bad knees, so had to drive to the toilet.

Friendly staff and lovely location with its own hot pools.

Our beds were very comfortable, staff were lovely grounds are lovely. Throughly enjoyed the spa pools by the swimming pools

Maybe letting people that the communal does not supply pots pans cutlery thats not a problem not supplying them but i don't recall the website stating that I could be wrong about that. I did see regarding bedding. But still was an enjoyable stay and will be back again

The pool was a little bit of a walk from the cabins BUT the scenery on the walk there is so beautiful

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt leider eher enttäuschend. Zwar war alles sauber, was definitiv positiv hervorzuheben ist, allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die den Aufenthalt deutlich unangenehmer gemacht haben. Die Duschen wirken sehr veraltet und wenig komfortabel – insgesamt hatte alles den Eindruck, seit Jahrzehnten nicht modernisiert worden zu sein. Außerdem kosten die Duschen zusätzlich 2 € pro fünf Minuten, was wir überraschend fanden. Im Schwimmbadbereich gibt es lediglich eine kalte Außendusche, aber keine Warmwasserduschen oder regulären Duschen in den Badezimmern. Auch die zusätzlichen Kosten für die Bettwäsche waren enttäuschend: Für jedes Bett mussten nochmals 20 Dollar bezahlt werden, was bei der Buchung nicht klar ersichtlich war. Generell wirken die Gebäude und Anlagen ziemlich alt und renovierungsbedürftig. Mit etwas Modernisierung könnte man deutlich mehr aus der Unterkunft machen.

We stayed in a cabin for one night. Keep in mind that they do not provide linen, pillows, or towels. The cabin had a very unpleasant smell and the carpet was extremely dirty. If you need linen and pillows, you have to pay an extra $20 per set, and even then they were not very clean. They won't give you towels. The bathrooms were also dirty, and you even had to pay for hot water. The shower head was positioned so close to the wall that it was difficult to have a proper shower. Honestly, these were the worst bathrooms I’ve ever seen they felt like prison bathrooms. The kitchen area was clean, but there were no utensils provided for cooking or eating, which made it very inconvenient. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet basic cleanliness or comfort expectations.

The room was comfortable and super clean. We really enjoyed the pretty grounds and swimming in the pools. The sound of the stream was particularly relaxing.

Location perfect. Walks available with kauri and puriri trees. Boardwalks. Pools warm and clean. Spa clean and kids can use (huge asset). Cabin very spacious and beds SO COMFY! Kitchen awesome. Stream and water hole just beautiful- kids spent more time there than the pools. Trampoline great. I was rapt I could fit my camper van in the parking spot beside cabin so I had extra living space.

Mini golf could be improved. One spa not working (would have been good to have that one too). Showers and Toilets a bit run down but super clean so not major. Would have liked coffee and take-aways carts.

Holiday makers beware! Rude staff who were aggressive on multiple occasions when raising concerns about the budget rooms being misleadingly advertised and having no linen or pillows provided. I was notified about 3 days before checking in about this policy and was caught out in the middle of rural New Zealand not knowing what to do. My Holiday was ruined and I ended up returning home 2 days early. Not only is it bizarre they don’t supply these basic necessities to their guests in some rooms but not others, but the fact they didn’t try to retain me as a customer shows how appalling their customer service is. They immediately pointed the finger and told me Booking.Com is to blame I also had a terrible time with Booking.Com to who were unable to contact this property to facilitate my booking cancellation before my check-in time had passed. I was nearly left with a ruined holiday and $300 out of pocket! They refused me a full refund and a 75% refund, go back on their word to honour 75% refunds on cancellations requested more than 72 hours before my check-in time. It’s amazing how far multibillion dollar corporations and businesses these days will go to con and penny pinch their customers out of $60

The rivers and the hot pools were clean and tidy and my kid had so much fun. Every thing was clean and spotless and staff friendly. Will be returning

My cabin was cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely hearing the birds and seeing quail running around.

The location was amazing. Beautiful walks and mineral pools. Our little cabin was small but suited our needs and we felt very safe.

Its not that i didnt like it because i am very easy going i am going to commemt this for others expectations. This is not a top 10 holiday park with expensive bells and whistles that has to be maintained to high standards. It is a kiwi natured, relaxed friendly and down to.earth family holiday park.

The room got very hot and damp but we couldn’t sleep with the windows open due to the mozzies. A bug screen would be amazing!

The service was outstanding! (Natalie helped with all our needs she was amazing!)There’s plenty to enjoy, and everything was so clean and comfortable. I’d definitely stay again.

Very disappointing experience. We paid $84 NZD for one night, and the cabin didn’t include anything — no bathroom, no kitchen, no running water, no linen, no pillows, no cooking utensils, not even cutlery. There was only a huge shared bathroom, and you had to pay $2 for a hot shower. I tried to take one after a long day of driving, but the shower never worked even after paying. Imagine arriving tired, just wanting a hot shower to relax — and it’s impossible. For the same price, you can easily find much better places that offer everything this one doesn’t. Definitely not worth it.

Nice pools and scenery.

It was very noisy being near the playground. Not relaxing. There were toddlers in swim nappies in the hot tubs which put me off. People obviously can’t read signs.

Loved the location looking forward to going back
