Great location. Fabulous hosts. Welcome package with an assortment of home made bread, jams, fresh eggs and bacon. A really nice touch. Comfortable, modern and very well presented. Tiny home vibes.

Ceilings very low and although fans are supplied it gets very hot as sun streams in the windows both downstairs and mezzanine bedroom.

Environnement autour du logement. Logement décoré avec goût. Hôtes forts sympathiques et accueillants.

There is nothing not to like about this stunning property. All the small beautiful details that Maxine and Kerry have included in my stay were beyond exceptional and thoughtful. If you are ever in KatiKati or in an area surrounding this place please go and stay you will not be disappointed. Words are not enough to explain how relaxing tranquil and super stunning this place is. Will be back for sure!! Thanks again Maxine and Kerry xx

Easy location, close to town

Had all the home comforts in a beautiful serene setting.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay, the property was beautiful, the hosts were so hospitable and the loft was a perfect mix of cosy and spacious. Seeing the chickens and river was a highlight. The hosts even provided from food and drinks!

What a gem! A perfect setup. The loft is so welcoming, a chair and desk (sat reading in the sunshine) Comfy bed, slept so well, and one night we just laid in bed reading, because it was so comfy. Drawers for clothes. And a heater if you get cold. Plenty of blankets and extra pillows too. The downstairs has all you need, TV with Netflix 😁. Kitchenette with a variety of cooking options, hotplate, George Foreman, mini oven, toaster and a BBQ outside on the covered porch. Little dining set on the porch too, and a sofa to chill out on in the sun with weather curtains for those windy wet days. Bathroom - Fabulous water pressure, we loved the shower. Good lighting around the mirror. A hairdryer and first aid kit in the sink drawer And then there was the extra special welcome waiting in the fridge. 😍 Breakfast condiments, the jams were delicious 😋. A small whole grain loaf 🍞. And even porridge. Oh and fresh free range eggs 😀 and bacon. This was such a perfect place to chill and unwind while our caravan was getting serviced in Tauranga. Although I'm glad we have our caravan back, I enjoyed having a little more room for 4 nights 😉. Oh and I forgot... The River Walk, and orchard and the chooks and cats 😁. I will definitely consider booking again for next year's service. .

Not really anything we didn't like. Hubby found the sofa a bit uncomfortable, but I found it ok. If you meet up with other vehicles coming the other way down the driveway it's a bit tight. But luckily we didn't until our last day, and then we were lucky in meeting where there was room for the other Ute to pull into the grass.

We loved our stay, it was a very homely and peaceful base to explore surrounding areas. Max has thought of everything you need and the fresh breakfast supplies were a real treat. Thank you for having us!

The whole stay was wonderful. So many personal touches to make it a great place to stay. It is very peaceful and quiet, easy to find and nearby trails and beaches are very accessible. Highly recommend

The loft had everyone you could want. The breakfast which included home-made bread, cute butter container along with divine Lemon Curd, Marmalade and Fig jam.

A wonderful 1 night stay. Kerry and Maxine are very friendly and was easy to contact. The accommodation was immaculate and exactly as depicted with lovely homely touches. The bed was divinely comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious and an absolute treat.

What a location! Peace, quiet, nature, we absolutely loved it. Maxine is super nice and warm and made our stay so lovely with fresh breakfast as well. We're definitely coming back!

The bacon and eggs was a lovely touch and the availability of a BBQ was wonderful. We felt that all of the small touches were exceptional.

This place is 100% the perfect country loft escape. Kerry & Maxine are friendly and welcoming and the loft itself is super comfortable with everything you need to sit back and unwind. As others have mentioned the little additions of homemade jams, freshly made bread, eggs and bacon take the experience to the next level.

It felt like home! Definately, i am going to stay here during my next visit!

Lovely quiet and restful place to stay surrounded by nature with a super view. Kerry and Maxine provided a friendly welcome and an excellent array of home made breakfast products. Their attention to detail makes this a special place to stay. A lot of care and love goes into looking after this rural escape. Thanks.

It was so yummy. I loved the spreads. Bacon was very good could have used 1 or 2 bits more the bed was so comfy and the hosts were very beautiful and helpful

Nothing at all everything was perfect they helped us so much gave us a free night and everything was really comforting and made me feel so at home it was very nice

Loved the peaceful location, the comfy bed, and the very friendly hosts. Cleanliness was super, and sitting in the sun on the deck, soaking up the quiet, intermixed with the odd bit of bird song, was absolute bliss.

Only a couple of minor niggles, probably more my issue than theirs :)

The bacon and eggs provided with a homemade loaf of bread, homemade jams, butter, plunger coffee was a step beyond any place we have ever stayed. The place is absolutely spotless and everything brand new. The shower was incredible. Pillows, sheets, bed was fantastic and an outlook all the way to the estuary for the dawn rise was spectacular. The drive down the country road to the loft was absolutely stunning.
