The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle; the rooms are relatively nice and spacious. The food at the restaurant is simple but offers a wide selection. The pool is very nice. The staff is available to help with whatever is needed.

The owner is so friendly and caring. He arranges everything (from breakfast/dinner, to transportation and excursions). It's not expensive, the food is delicious and cheap. Beautiful surrounding (saw a monkey, frogs, crabs, fish and lots of butterflies). Spacious room.

The bed isn't that comfortable and the A/C can't be adjusted (it's gets a bit cold after a while).

This is truly one of our favorite accommodations in Thailand. Although the hotel is a little outside the main community, it was never a problem for us. In fact, we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and found that everything we needed was already here. The staff are wonderful, and the management is exceptional. The hotel provides transportation to the community three times a day, but honestly, we hardly needed to leave because the hotel offers everything—from delicious food and drinks to tours and activities. We tried many of the dishes and drinks, and everything was fantastic! We especially loved the fresh fruit smoothies. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, which made us feel very comfortable and well cared for. The Thai food was also delicious. We highly recommend the bamboo shoot curry and fried banana blossoms. We loved knowing that many of the ingredients come from local villagers’ gardens, making the food feel fresh, authentic, and local. A special thank you to Choti and Joy for their excellent recommendations and help arranging our trips. They offer a great variety of tours at very reasonable prices, and we found their service much more personal and reliable than booking online. What we appreciated most was that they never rushed us or made us feel pressured. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time. Joy is calm, kind, incredibly efficient, and always ready to help. She seems to be at the hotel all day—we honestly wondered when she ever gets to rest! 😄 Mr. Choti was also wonderful. He shared so much knowledge with us and always took the time to chat. We never felt like ordinary guests. We felt welcomed as friends. Thank you, Choti and Joy, for your kindness, warmth, and hospitality, and for making every trip so smooth and enjoyable. Wonderful hotel nestled in the rainforest and easy to get to from Khao Sok village. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu is really extensive and the food was yummy and SO CHEAP! The room was clean and spacious and there is air con.

The hotel is good. Facilities are a bit outdated but beds are comfortable and it was very clean. The pool is also very nice. Mr Chok is a very nice man that tried to help all the time.

We were not happy with the suggested activities. If you can I would avoid booking through the hotel. The excursion to Lake Cheouw Lan was very disappointing. Very touristy. And then we saw online other options that seemed much better. The massage we took at the hotel was the worst we had in Thailand. The ladies were constantly taking on their phones. In the end it was so badly done that it triggered me a headache that lasted for two days.

My family and I had a wonderful 2 night stay in this lovely hotel, the garden setting and pool were especially appreciated. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, the rooms were well equipped with air con. Want to give a special shout out to the manager (Chot) whose warm hospitality made it extra special.

The manager was very friendly and welcoming. I booked all of our activities through the hotel, and everything was well organized and worked perfectly. The pool in the middle of the jungle is wonderful.

I booked two identical rooms, but when we arrived, one of the rooms was not as good and had a blocked shower drain. When I asked to change the room, I was told it was not possible, which was disappointing.

We weren't disappointed choosing to stay here. This hotel is exceptionally well-managed, starting smoothly right from the online booking process. We felt completely prepared thanks to Joy’s thoughtful advice before our arrival, including practical tips like bringing cash and preparing for potentially unstable internet during the rainy season. She truly understands that some guests may need it for work and goes out of her way to ensure no one feels uncomfortable if unexpected issues arise, especially since the accommodation is nestled in a quiet community deep in the forest. Throughout our stay, Joy kept us continuously informed via messages, making sure we never missed a thing. She is simply amazing! On check-in day, we were warmly welcomed by Choti, the manager working alongside Joy. Both of them are incredibly kind and handle the front desk together as a dedicated two-person team. They work tirelessly to ensure every single guest is completely satisfied. Another standout highlight that caught us by surprise was the restaurant's impeccable management. Beyond the delicious food, the service operation was flawless. Both breakfast and dinner were served quickly and accurately. We even spotted Joy stepping into the kitchen to help manage the food service—she is truly skilled in every aspect! As owners of a small restaurant ourselves, we know firsthand how challenging it is to manage a full house seamlessly, yet they made everything look effortless. Even with just two front-desk staff members, Joy and Choti, every single detail was absolute perfection. Every corner of our room was beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully quiet. Je hoort de geluiden rondom van de dieren overdag en in de avond. Zwembad ook prima.

Als je naar het dorp Khao Sok wil moet je met de taxi. Het resort biedt deze 2 keer per dag (gratis) aan. Het is te ver lopen naar het dorp. Er zit wel een supermarktje naast het resort.

Vriendelijk personeel en zelfs redelijk nederlands sprekend. Goed en groot zwembad. Kamers zijn ruim. Eten was goed en goede service.

Aircondition stond laag, deze konden we zelf niet bedienen.

Wifi in the room was spotty. The location is a bit far from the village. The room is rather dark, also because of the dark windows. A desk with a chair and light would be a useful addition.

Real jungle vibe. The restaurant is great. The staff is helpful and friendly, the pool is nice, the rooms and spacious and clean. Managed to arrange through them transfer to a different part of Thailand and you can book many attractions as well.

A bit far from the town (40 min walk) and there is transfer only one way to it.

Das Hotel besteht aus einzelnen kleinen Häuschen, das bietet viel Privatsphäre und gibt Dschungel feeling. Überall wachsen Früchte (die wir essen durften), schöne Pflanzen und Blumen. Man hört die Insekten und Tiere draussen und kann mit etwas Glück Affen vom Zimmer aus beobachten. Es ist sicher nicht das neuste Hotel, hier und da könnte etwas ausgetauscht werden. Preis Leistung stimmten aber für uns. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit, bucht Touren und Transport. Das eigene Restaurant ist sehr lecker und preislich gut. Der Pool ist schön und wir waren meist alleine. Wäscheservice hat gut funktioniert.

Wenn man kein Fahrzeug hat, ist man auf den Shuttle ins Dorf angewiesen und muss sich für den Rückweg einen Transport suchen. Das war nicht immer so einfach und kostet auch jedes Mal. Mit Kindern ist es viel zu weit zu laufen bei den Temperaturen. Die Liegen am Pool brauchen dringend neue Auflagen. Die Klimaanlage in den Zimmern ist entweder an oder aus, man kann sie nicht manuell einstellen und sie ist eher laut. Die Matratzen waren etwas durch gelegen.

When our Grab booking was suddenly cancelled, she arranged a private transfer in just 15 minutes! It was only then that we realized she was the same person behind all the prompt and helpful email correspondence we received before arrival. Whether she is at the reception, coordinating tours, or tending to the beautiful garden, she handles everything flawlessly—always with a genuine smile. Khun Choti was also wonderful; his warmth and extensive knowledge made our conversations truly enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious and served with impressive speed. Our room was spotless, and the lush, well-maintained garden created such a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was perfect, truly beyond description. This place is an experience that everyone must see for themselves. We already look forward to our next visit!"

Séjour vraiment agréable dans ce cadre magnifique de Khao Sok, en pleine nature. Chot, le propriétaire, a été aux petits soins du début à la fin, toujours disponible et de bon conseil. Prachtig huisje en het eten in het restaurant was heerlijk. Zwembad was ook heerlijk! Tours kun je ter plekke prima boeken.

Het klopt inderdaad dat je de airco zelf niet kunt beneden. Zelf hebben we hier geen hinder van ondervonden. Wat ons opviel is dat het hotel aan een drukke weg ligt. Bij ons huisje hoorde je ‘s morgens vroeg het verkeer duidelijk. Dit had ik niet verwacht.

Les chambres sont très spacieuses et magnifiquement décorées. Par dessus tout, la gentillesse des personnes qui nous accueillent ! Le propriétaire se mobilise pour que tout soit parfait et il fait les choses avec cœur !

"This is a charming small hotel with only 12 rooms, nestled amidst beautifully maintained tropical gardens. The rooms are spotless, each featuring a private balcony, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. Listening to the beautiful songs of various birds was truly relaxing. We also enjoyed a very quiet stay as there weren't many other tourists at the time. What impressed us the most was our host, Joy. She is exceptionally friendly and calm. It’s amazing how she works tirelessly all day yet always remains cheerful and highly attentive to her guests. She even went above and beyond by driving us to the local community to buy medicine and get some cash. She was always available around the hotel and reception area, and kindly helped us book our transfers and activities. Our only regret is that our stay was so short. We absolutely loved this place! There are so many things we loved: For example, the rooms are beautiful, very clean, and private, situated amidst a tropical garden. Every room has a garden view through large windows. We stayed in June, the low season, so there weren't many tourists, making Khao Sok very quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is large, clean, and calming. What was amazing was the staff here; they were incredibly friendly. Joy, the hotel manager, made our stay so easy and convenient. From responding to emails to providing complete details, she greatly reduced our anxiety about planning our trip. She gave us so many tips, showing us how to travel in Thailand, especially Khao Sok. She recommended booking everything through the hotel for convenience, such as transportation. Although booking through the hotel is more expensive than through agencies or online channels, it's safer and more reliable because transfers through the hotel are usually made through legitimate transportation companies with security insurance. The same goes for activities; booking directly through the hotel offers fairer prices and more complete information than booking online. We did activities at the lake, and it was absolutely stunning. After the activities, Joy recommended a massage, which we did. And again, it didn't disappoint. It was wonderful and very relaxing. It completely freed our minds. We initially thought everything had to be booked online through other websites. We had limited time and were quite organized in our travel arrangements, so we preferred to plan ahead. We made the right decision to contact the hotel directly, while also checking several other websites. We were lucky that Joy responded quickly, so we booked everything through her. She made everything incredibly easy. Joy was the only one at reception all day and stayed at the hotel constantly.

We told her we were a bit afraid of spiders and other jungle animals, but she assured us not to worry, as she was always at the hotel and could be contacted via WhatsApp or phone if needed. We felt safe and relaxed throughout our stay. She handled everything for us, including booking activities and transfers to our next destination. And we can't forget to mention the delicious food at the hotel restaurant; we ate there for every meal. If we have the chance, we will definitely return with friends and family, and stay longer. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We arrived late and were initially a little worried about check-in. But we contacted the hotel via WhatsApp about our arrival. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, providing information about dinner options as restaurants would be closed upon our arrival. She suggested we order food in advance and had it packed for us. It was absolutely delicious! Joy was waiting to greet us upon arrival, even though it was late. She always greeted us with a warm smile. Initially, we only booked one night, but we decided to book directly with Joy for another two nights due to the interesting activities and the beauty of the hotel. We loved it! We participated in activities at the lake as recommended by her; it was incredibly beautiful and well worth it. We had ample time to experience the stunning atmosphere of the place. The rooms were lovely and very clean. The gardens were beautiful and perfect. Joy and her team of female staff were incredibly professional and helpful. The cleaning staff provided fresh, fragrant towels every day. We saw Joy throughout the day, both at reception and sometimes even in the kitchen preparing meals for us. We also saw her in the garden; she and her team are very skilled at trimming the trees. She is a very capable and kind woman. Joy is a local, so she was able to provide excellent information about the local community, village life, and the weather in Khao Sok for each month. We felt very welcome. We will definitely be back! We were so happy to spend our time at this beautiful place. The room was very private and quiet. The gardens were beautiful and well-maintained. We stayed here during the low season, so there weren't many people. Even though it was the low season, this hotel had everything we needed. It was beautiful and always ready to welcome tourists. Especially the swimming pool, it was quiet and very clean. We felt very relaxed during our vacation. We checked in in the morning, so of course, the room wasn't ready. We knew check-in time was 2 PM. But it wasn't a problem for us. We received a warm welcome from the receptionist. She offered us cold water and recommended various activities. Even though we only had one night and it was raining, we didn't do many activities. We just relaxed with delicious smoothies from the restaurant and a delicious and very reasonably priced lunch. We went to see the monkeys at the temple and took a short walk in the community in the evening. It's a very beautiful small town. We really liked everything here, especially the staff at the reception. Joy was working alone (she said that because it was the low season, she could manage on her own since there weren't many tourists. Normally, she has an assistant). Even though she was working alone at the reception, she did everything well and quickly to make all her guests happy. She always asked and checked if her guests needed anything extra or if there was anything she could help with. She was everything to us, taking care of us, showing us to our room, and providing information about the room. She recommended delicious dishes at the hotel restaurant. She drove us around the community, was friendly like a friend, and always ready to help us with bookings and transfers to our next destination. We actually wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back here again and definitely for a longer stay. Thank you so much for a short but memorable experience.

We loved the peaceful jungle setting, the lush garden bungalows, the pool, and the restaurant. The food was some of the best Thai food of our trip, especially the banana flower curry, banana flower salad from their garden, pumpkin curry, and Tom kha soup. Everything was flavorful and very reasonably priced. The biggest highlight was the hospitality from Chot/Joy. We were traveling with our two-year-old, and Chot made us feel so welcome. He and our son built a sweet little friendship, and that warmth made the hotel feel like home. He also gave excellent recommendations and helped us organize experiences around Khao Sok, including the local elephant conservation center, national park hiking, hot springs, Monkey Temple, and a half-day lake boat tour. He also helped us sort out our shuttle and ferry to Koh Samui.

Nothing major. It is a jungle setting, so come expecting nature and a relaxed, rustic feel rather than a polished city hotel. Also, the natural hot springs nearby are VERY hot, so ease in carefully if you go.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Khaosok and Spa. They took excellent care of us! At the front desk, we were welcomed by Joy and Chot. Joy had been giving me great advice since the booking process via email. She replied incredibly fast and helped clear up all our questions about our first trip to Thailand. Throughout our stay, Chot was also so much fun to chat with. Not only was Joy quick to reply to emails, but she was also at the reception all the time! Whether I came down in the morning or the evening, she was always there. It made me feel so safe and completely worry-free, even though we were staying right in the jungle. The rooms were perfectly clean, and the housekeeping staff were lovely and always smiling. I also have to mention the food—it was incredibly delicious and very affordable! We participated in several activities based on Joy's recommendations, and we loved every single one of them. After a long, tiring day of activities, we tried their massage service, and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely wonderful! I will definitely be coming back. We received our tour booking details via private transfer, and Joy handled the activity bookings through WhatsApp. Thank you for your assistance in making our trip smooth, including the overnight stay at the lake. She managed everything perfectly, and the food at the hotel restaurant was excellent – ​​delicious, clean, reasonably priced, and with a wide variety of choices. Unfortunately, we had limited time and would have liked to try more dishes. We particularly enjoyed the Thai food. Staying here was worry-free; we felt comfortable and safe.

Das Hotel, welches eher einem Resort gleich kommt war sehr schön. Die Unterkünfte sind auf einzelne, eigene Häuser verteilt und wirken mit dem Backstein und der natürlichen Umgebung sehr einladend. Der Pool hat mit 1,50 Meter bis 1,70 Meter eine vernünftige tiefe und hat angehnehme abkühlung gebracht. Unser Gastgeber hat uns in allen Punkten geholfen (u.a. beim Buchen von zb. Elefantenfütterungen, Taxis aber auch beim Buchen von Bustickets für die Weiterfahrt), bei denen wir Unterstützung benötigt haben. Das Essen des Restaurants war zu allen Tageszeiten einfach lecker Die Shuttle's in die Stadt sind sehr nützlich und helfen schnell rüber zu kommen (ansonsten 20 - 30 min Fußweg)

die Lage ist leider Abseits des Ortes, aber mit eigenem Auto gut an der Landstraße zu erreichen

Schöne Anlage wie im Dschungel. Alles sehr sauber. Der sehr nette Gastgeber hat sich um alle Anliegen sofort gekümmert. Das Essen im Restaurant ist richtig gut und zu günstigen Preisen. Im Garten gab es einige Tiere zu beobachten. Wir haben sogar Affen gesehen

i loved this small hotel which is surrounded by beautiful vegetation with birdsong and monkey chattering in the background. Swimming pool was great. Hotel provides shuttle into main town.

La lejania al pueblo y que no se puede pagar con tarjeta, por eso decidí no hacer tours.

Everything. The staff were helpful, food was good, surroundings were pleasant, the pool was good. The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and the whole place just had a really nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage, es krabbelt und kriecht und fliegt wie im Dschungel! Es gibt so viele Tiere und Pflanzen zu entdecken! Bungalow ist geräumig und sauber und vor allem kommt ungewohnt für Thailand viel Wasser aus der Dusche! Herrlich!

Es ist sehr weit außerhalb von Khao Sok, nicht fussläufig. Das muss man wissen.

L'emplacement, le personnel, les chambres dans la jungle, leur taille et bien isolées les unes des autres, le restaurant et les attentions particulières pour les allergies alimentaires, les activités proposées, la proximité du sanctuaire des éléphants, du quad, des balades dans le parc national et le temple des singes. Et des supers cocktails avec des fruits frais. Au top, merci à toute l'équipe !

Slightly far from the city, like 20-30m walking, but make sure to always have a taxi person or do like we did, asked in the restaurant that we were if they couldn’t take us

Przepięknie położony hotel, cudowny basen w otoczeniu zieleni. Domki super usytuowane wśród roślinności, można poczuć klimat tego miejsca. Bardzo dobre jedzenie w restauracji, jedliśmy tylko tam - nie było potrzeby jeżdżenia do miasteczka. Do miasteczka na piechotę to dłuższy spacer główną ulicą, ale my mielimy auto i polecam mieć swój środek transportu. Czuliśmy się super zaopiekowani przez właściciela.

W restauracji czasem długo się czekało, wynikało to pewnie z małej ilości personelu. Nie udało mi się skorzystać z masarzu, bo był jakiś problem z budynkiem-pech.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit gepflegtem Garten. Wirklich sehr netter Besitzer, der uns mit allen Ausflügen und Transferen geholfen hat und die Buchungen übernommen hat. Nur zu empfehlen.

Geweldige eigenaar die je in alles wilt helpen. Tours bij het hotel te boeken. 1km van het busstation, locatie top. Eigenaar is van alle markten thuis en kan nederlands engels en duits spreken. Eten ook super! Mijn moeder was ziek en de eigenaar was zo behulpzaam om meerdere keren naar de apotheek te rijden! Er is een lief aanhankelijk poesje (zwart met wit) die niet van de eigenaars zelf is maar wel op het terrein verblijft (een beetje bij de huisjes achter) graag water en eten en heel veel liefde geven aub!

Нам понравилось все!!! Очень гостеприимный хозяин. Вокруг джунгли и шикарная природа. Есть бассейн. Очень уютные домики. В первый день мы поехали ужинать в центр, было совсем не вкусно, разочаровались. Какое же было наше удивление, что в этом отеле еда и дешевле и очень вкусная… Том Ям, жареный рис, супчик с фрикадельками, монинг глори, манго стики райс… Все очень вкусно. Спасибо персоналу🙏

The rooms are big and comfortable, the area is interesting as I saw a monkey jumping around some trees. The internet is really good and works everywhere, even by the pool. The staff was great, the receptionist super nice and very polite.

Arriving here was the start of an incredible experience for me ,my daughter and 2 grand daughters , the greeting from Chort and staff was so friendly that straight away everyone wanted to stay longer .

Nothing could of been better , the help in organizing our little side tours to the the immaculate grounds kept in top condition by Chorts team of helpers ,in a word stunning place to stay .

Schönes ruhiges hotel mit toller Natur.

Das die Klimaanlage auf 24 Grad gestellt ist und man keine Fernbedienung dazu bekommt. Im Urlaub möchte ich entscheiden wie kühl ich es haben möchte. Meiner Meinung spart man da an der falschen Ecke.
