Het bed was zeer hard en in de hele bungalow zaten beesten, wij hebben 2 nachten nauwelijks kunnen slapen. Het eten bij de accommodatie was vrij prijzig.

Localisation parfaite, facilité pour réserver les activités, bungalow magnifique. Nous avons eu la chance d’apercevoir une centaine de singes depuis l’hôtel qui montaient à la paroi rocheuse, c’était magique !

Nádherné ubytování, lokalita vám opravdu vyrazí dech. V ubytování i dobře vaří za dobrou cenu, v pěší vzdálenosti se dá půjčit skútr který vám usnadní cestování do národního parku a po okolí. Využili jsme organizovaný výlet od ubytování na přehradu i s tranferem a bylo to velmi příjemné. Zaměstnanci byli velmi milí a nápomocní. Venkovní koupelna byl zážitek, voda tekla teplá

Každý den nám velmi silně pršelo a protože jsme měli pokoj pouze s větrákem a ne s klimou, která by vysušovala vzduch, tak jsme měli problém usušit zmoklé oblečení.

Die Lage ist wirklich schön und natürlich muss man sich bei einer Unterkunft im Dschungel auf Abenteuer und gewisse Abstriche einstellen. Für den Preis haben wir allerdings deutlich mehr erwartet. Am Anfang war alles sehr freundlich und nett, mit Willkommensgetränk und einer sehr aufwendig gestalteten Speisekarte. Leider hatten wir insgesamt das Gefühl, dass sehr viel Wert auf die Präsentation gelegt wird, während das, was man am Ende tatsächlich bekommt, damit nicht mithalten kann. Die Unterkunft selbst war letztlich nur ein sehr kleiner Bungalow mit einem Bett und einem offenen Bad. Bei uns war außerdem der Schlauch am Wasserhahn kaputt, wodurch das Bad ständig nass war. Wir haben das angesprochen und das Personal hat sich auch mehrmals bemüht, ihn zu reparieren. Leider hat es nicht funktioniert. Das wäre für uns überhaupt kein Problem gewesen – wir hätten uns einfach gewünscht, dass man ehrlich sagt, wenn es sich nicht beheben lässt, anstatt zu sagen, es sei repariert, obwohl sich nichts verändert hatte. Danach wurde alles wieder so hinterlassen wie vorher. Auch das Mückennetz war voller Blutspuren. Das Frühstück für ca. 13 € war ebenfalls völlig überteuert: eine winzige Wurst, zwei Toasts und ein Ei, geschmacklich leider auch nicht überzeugend. Auch die angebotenen Ausflüge waren unserer Meinung nach unverhältnismäßig teuer. Insgesamt ist die Location toll und das Personal war grundsätzlich bemüht. Für den Preis hat für uns das Gesamtpaket aber einfach nicht gestimmt – es wurde viel „rumgetüddelt“, um einen besonderen Eindruck zu machen, während die tatsächliche Leistung diesen Erwartungen nicht gerecht wurde.

Prachtige locatie, met het water en de cliff. Leuke jungle-gym er ook bij.

Er kunnen gemakkelijk een hoop beesten binnenkomen omdat het huisje niet helemaal dicht is.

It was a lovely room, literally in nature. We loved the restaurant!

The shower and toilet were super close to each other, so everything got wet if you showered once.

Veel insecten, ook in bed, en klein bed voor 2 personen zeker gezien muggennet 4min na sluiten van keuken aangekomen met 4 personen en we konden geen eten meer krijgen, jammer Water rook raar

De prachtige natuur, je zit echt in de jungle.

De badkamer was bij ons altijd nat en stonk. Een vloertrekker was wel fijn geweest.

Alles... Die Lage ist super, ruhig und entspannend. Etwas außerhalb aber das war was wir haben wollten. Touren waren wie immer perfekt organisiert... und unvergesslich

Für mich gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

Le personnel, et notamment le grand monsieur à lunettes, était super sympa et parlait très bien anglais. L’environnement nous a totalement dépaysés, en pleine jungle, et c’est une expérience que je recommande vraiment. La nourriture était également très bonne.

Ce que j’ai moins apprécié, c’est que l’établissement est assez éloigné des épiceries et qu’il n’y a pas de restaurant à proximité, à part celui de l’hôtel. De plus, le distributeur ATM le plus proche se trouve à environ 15 minutes à pied.

The location was stunning

Walked into our room and there was a crack in the window and a hole in the roof which later ended up being our main issue. The room was an okay size for 2 people however the fan that was provided blew around warm air making you feel so sticky all night. Due to the hole in the roof we had quite a few geckos enter our room and if your anything like me who doesn’t really like animals this was not nice knowing I had to sleep with them in there. The food was adequate and could do with maybe a little shop on site to get basics.

Location

Stunning, peaceful, nature location right beneath cliffs. Our hut was on a lovely stream and we had a little porch/balcony on the stream. Could see monkeys and “forest bathe”. Can get meals at the restaurant in the accommodation which we did often because nothing else is in walking distance.

Far from the town so you can’t walk anywhere and no bicycle rental system but worth it to be a bit far because of the serene setting with so much privacy tucked away.

Nous avons séjourné dans un Bungalow familial, avec 2 chambres. L'établissement est situé dans la nature, proche d'une petite rivière. Le logement était moderne et bien équipé (pas de climatisation mais des ventilateurs : cela marchait très bien). Le staff est très sympa et le restaurant très appréciable : bon petit déjeuner et diner sympa, à des prix un peu élevés mais tout à fait corrects.

L'établissement est excentré et la seule façon de se déplacer est de passer par une chauffeuse de taxi à proximité. La dame est très sympathique mais le tarif carrément élevé pour se rendre dans la ville qui n'est pas très loin. On se sent donc un peu "coincé" : les applis type Bolt ou Grab ne fonctionnent pas ! Le tarif des chambres est un peu élevé, surtout sans le petit déjeuner inclus, quand on compare au standard en Thaïlande. Nous avons participer à un cours de cuisine qui n'était pas un réel cours, mais plus une session de cuisine collective. Un peu décevant

The Nature, the cabin, the calm.

They said breakfast is made with local ingredientes, we ask for granola, fruits and Yogurt, and for us, the dish was so small, and only had mango and cerries?, small portion of granola, for the price is not balance.

El entorno, te sientes en mitad de la jungla, mucha calma, y la comida del restaurante está bien. Es un sitio agradable para pasar un par de noches

Estar barnizado de hormigas constantemente, que ell lugar está alejado del pueblo y no tiene fácil comunicación, y en nuestro caso las fotos no se correspondían con el tamaño de la habitación que nos dieron.

We had a lovely stay at Silver Cliff Resort in Khao Sok. The location is beautiful and surrounded by nature, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. Delicious food in the restaurant on site!

De locatie is top. In alle rust in een super mooie omgeving, maar toch is het dorpje makkelijk bereikbaar. Hiervoor is wel een auto/taxi nodig. De accomodatie zelf is netjes verzorgd en schoon. Het restaurant verzorgd heerlijk eten wat niet heel veel duurder is dan in het dorp. Super lekkere bananen pancakes bij het ontbijt! Bij het aardige personeel van het resort kan je gemakkelijk allerlei activiteiten reserveren voor prima prijzen. Je wordt hierbij opgehaald bij het resort.

Ik kan niets negatiefs bedenken.

Notre réservation a été annulée sans raisons.. ils ont envoyé un message comme quoi il y a double booking.. mais après on a trouvé de la disponibilité sur booking.

De plek is heel mooi.

Dat de standaard blokhutten wel heel klein zijn. De foto's geven een wat vertekender beeld. En er is geen airco maar dat was onze fout, dat hadden wij niet goed gelezen. Dus het is erg warm in de nacht. Er staan wel ventilatoren. Als je van primitief in de natuur houdt dan zit je helemaal goed hier.

The surroundings are nice with the silver cliff, small river and jungle setting

It’s too far from the main village and national park entrance. It’s a 45 minute walk but the road was far too dangerous for us to risk it with our children. Taxis to and from cost 50 baht per person and for a family of 4 these costs soon add up. The food was fine apart from the breakfast. It seemed very expensive for what amounted to a single slice of toast with a sausage and eggs plus a couple of small pancakes.

We loved everything. The rooms were very nice being located in the jungle. Everything was perfect for me.

Certainly a beautiful spot, and the people working the restaurant were so sweet. Food overall was pretty good. Rooms were simple but I don’t mind that and think it’s part of the charm.

The price is too high for the location. They no longer offer a shuttle to the town, so you rely on taxis which quickly adds up. In addition, they only have one contact for a taxi driver (who was lovely), however if you can’t get ahold of them you are kinda screwed. I had to walk back one day in 90 degree , it wasn’t the best. Further, I saw so many trucks for other accommodations shuttling their people around so it seems Silver Cliff is unfortunately one of the few that doesn’t offer this. For staying so far away from town you want it to feel like a nice cozy reclusive spot, but this was mostly not that. The restaurant was nice but not a lot of comfortable outdoor hanging areas or viewing spots for watching the birds. I also booked a night safari with them, and had to pay high prices because I was the only person from the hotel that went, and I’ll spare all the details but it really was not a good tour and I felt a waste of my money unfortunately. It seemed like other hotels had better guides that were able to inform them a bit more on the ecosystem. The fan they offer in the room for cooling at night isn’t quite enough. It really isn’t angled right to hit the bed very effectively. I don’t know that I would recommend for solo travelers.

Absolutely stunning scenery. Though it is a little distant from Khoa Sok town, it is just an inexpensive taxi ride. We LOVED being in nature and away from tourists.

During our stay the nearby farms were cutting lots of trees, so we heard chainsaws in the distance at all times during the day. This was not the resort’s fault - just noisy neighbours .

De ventilators in het huisje bliezen alleen op de bovenste twee bedden waardoor de bedden beneden geen verkoeling hadden.

Le lieu est absolument magnifique

La douche ne s'évacue pas donc la salle de bain entière était inondée durant les deux jours. L'interrupteur de la chambre était cassé. Les activités suggérées, en tout cas la balade en bateau bambou est une arnaque à touriste, à fuir ! Ils annoncent 1h30 environ, ça a duré à peine 30mn.

L’hôtel est très excentré du centre-ville sachant que les taxis coûtent très chers, la nourriture de l’hôtel coûte cher aussi, et dommage il y a énormément de crottes de lézard dans la chambre

Super Lage an den Klippen, natürlich, freundliches Personal, Ausstattung mit allem, was man braucht, ruhig, perfekt um die Seele baumeln zu lassen

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön an einer Felswand gelegen, ruhig und natürlich. Es werden tolle Touren angeboten zu einem guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Das Restaurant vor Ort ist super. Praktisch für Pärchen Urlaub. Jeder hat seinen Bungalow und man kann sich draußen an Tischen treffen. Der Aufenthalt war für uns eine pure Erholung.

Man muss mit tierischen Besuchern rechnen, was aber im Dschungel üblich ist und wenn man außerhalb essen gehen möchte oder ins Dorf, muss man ein Taxi nehmen oder einen Roller haben.

L’emplacement au top ! A 800m d’un sanctuaire d’éléphant et à 5km du parc national. Beaucoup de balades à faire aux alentours. De bons repas sont à goûter. Des personnels à l’écoute et accueillant. Une salle de sport disponible. 2/3 locaux à côté.

Location was truly amazing. What a beautiful spot. Rooms were definitely rustic and we spotted a few little critters along the way.

Beautiful location and the bungalows are situated beautifully with a lot of privacy. there is a very nice cave where you can swim in on the property next to the bungalow and the bungalows have really nice outside bathrooms with balconies. The restaurant was also very nice!

It was in a beautiful spot near cliffs and a running river. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was was always very good.

It was a little far from town which meant we had to pay a tuk tuk everything we wanted to go into town.

Great spot and most staff really sweet, food is tasty. The views were great and for the low price, the room is lovely.

Tours and food are overpriced, which detracts from the low cost as you’re practically forced to eat there because of how far away it is. The Mosquito net in our room had lots of holes, and ants made their way into our bed. We had issues with one staff member being rude, but the rest were lovely.

The staff is very good, so helpful and kind. I can't say the same about the owner. I found a snake in my toilet because there is an space between the windows frame and the wall, so the animals can enter. In addition, the door is broken so it can't be closed. The result, I couldn't sleep. I asked him for a goodwill gesture and he said: welcome to the jungle. No words for him... There is wifi only in the restaurant. Bungalows are very basic, so humid and bad smell. Not proper maintenance of the accommodation.

The outdoor shower and bathroom was really cool but had to watch out for wildlife if you needed the toilet in the evening/ night!

This is an amazing spot and great value for money, this was my favorite stay in Thailand so romantic and the staff were amazing and helped us arrange a new transfer when ours canceled!

C’est loin du centre-ville, donc doit payer un taxi. On ne pouvait pas louer un scooter sur place. Ils nous ont dit que la cuisine fermait à 20h30, elle a fermé plus tôt donc nous avons dû se payer un taxi aller-retour pour aller manger au centre-ville…

J'ai réservé plus de 2 mois à l'avance et l hôtel annule la chambre le matin pour le soir. Tellement déçu. J'ai du trouvé un autre hôtel rapidement et donc plus cher car dernière minute.

Les logements sont au pied des falaises et en bord de rivière, c’est magnifique. Les bungalows sont confortables, on se sent vraiment bien à Khao sok silver cliff. Si vous êtes sportifs, vous allez aussi adorer la salle de sport!

Le bungalow à côté du nôtre était en construction, il y a eu des travaux tous les jours (week end y compris) à partir de 8h, sans possibilité de changer de bungalow… Les plats du restaurant sont chers.

L’emplacement est très bien. L’hôte a été super, il nous a envoyé un taxi depuis l’aéroport car aucun grab ne voulait nous prendre.

La salle de bain était difficile d’accès. Et la moustiquaire pas assez grande pour le lit.

The distance from the Khao Sok village, meaning you were kind of forced to eat on site. Which wasn’t bad at all but I like to try around

Emplacement formidable, au milieu de la nature, au pied de la falaise. Une famille de singes est descendue le matin pour trouver de la nourriture dans la forêt. Logements un peu rustiques mais fidèles à la description.

Pas tout à fait satisfait par certaines activités proposées (notamment la balade nocturne+repas) et par le fait de devoir payer le tarif adulte pour un enfant de 10 ans.

Very quiet and peaceful, cute little huts to stay in and comfy bed.

The net around our bed had holes in and blood on, I woke up with 5 mosquito bites. No service or wifi in rooms and too far away from anything to walk anywhere so nothing to do, also no taxis or grabs in this area.

Me volveria alojar muchas más veces. Hay gimnasio, restuarante, campo de voley. Naturaleza. No puedo estar más contenta con este alojamiento.

The resort is exactly what you would expect which is great, very relaxed setting in the nature/jungle. The staff are absolutely amazing and so accommodating.

This isnt about the property but directed to the people making negative reviews about its location. Maybe you should learn to look at maps before booking 😂

Amazing environment, next to the cliff and surrounded by lush nature. Very cute bungalows (the rooms). The staff was also a highlight: super friendly and eager to help at all times. Big shout-out to August, who helped us arranged our activities and transportation in the most efficient and kind way (thanks!). Also, I strongly recommend the night trek with the guide Bar, she's very skilled and fun. And the Thai food at this hotel is great!

La porte de notre bungalow étant cassée, il était très compliqué de rentrer et sortir. La moustiquaire déchirée, nous ne pouvions pas laisser la porte ouverte pour avoir de l’air sans avoir une invasion de moustiques.

De hut was super heet, de buitenlamp werkte niet goed en er zaten heelveel gaten in het muggendoek boven het bed. Uiteindelijk weggegaan na 1 nacht. Dit lag voornamelijk aan ons gezien het super warm was en de ventilator niet genoeg was om goed te slapen. Bedden zijn klein. De sportschool was half kapot

Beautiful area, middle of the jungle. Convenient for a day trip to Khao Sok National park. Staff were quite friendly, the gym was very cool.

It’s a 40min walk or 5 min drive to the main strip to access any restaurant/shop. So you’re forced to either walk or book a taxi - no taxi apps work so you have to book via the hotel which is more expensive than would normally be.
