Matarma Beach Residence

We really enjoyed our stay at Matarma Beach Residence. The suite was spotless, and housekeeping came every day to clean the room and refill the shampoo, tea, and coffee. Everything was well taken care of. The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful, and everyone at the hotel was welcoming. A big thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping the place so clean, especially the swimming pool, which was cleaned and sanitized regularly. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The only things I would suggest are adding more evening activities for kids and a few more green areas around the resort.

Bungalows need check by maintenance team Only one life guard at swimming pool is not enough with reference to the pools area Food quality is not very good Restaurant space is a little small In room dining service is not that good however they are fast but no big or even moderate variety No entertainment programs at all however there is a big schedule received upon arrival but nothing held during the day or night

Rocks on the beach in the sand area the hotel dose not pay effective effort to remove the small rocks Also no enough facilities such as no hyper or mini hyper only they have a small market .. no pharmacy or even near vy

Staff have changed since last year,they are not nice ,not friendly & not professional in doing their job,food was sooooo bad,so salty my mother has blood pressure & she could n't eat it & our stomach hurt us,I even couldn't eat in the last day of the stay, cutlery wasn't clean,staff of the restaurant was watching us during eating closely & stirring if anyone take more in a bad way, waiters was coming during eating to take plates asking if we finished several times. I really wanted to extend my stay,but I really couldn't , unfortunately the place really changed since last year, I was so sad to see that,I wish they could return the way they were because it was really good place ☹️

The food

The hotel is very nice. Beach is amazing! Very enjoyable swimming. We had the bungalow which was good for three people. It had a great view and was very close to the sea. The food was good. But note that it was mainly Egyptian cuisine, so there weren't many western food options.

I think cleaning could be slightly improved in the bungalows. I didn't like that restaurant was a closed area. I wish there were outdoor options especially that the weather was good.

We loved the accessibility of everything in just moments; beach, pool, restaurant & bungalow, even the kids area

The staff at the beginning they weren't smiling at all, but at the end they were very friendly

The room design, the view and the pool were pretty good. Also, the staff were cool and cooperative.

The beach was rocky not sandy like was mentioned in the description at booking. Also, the food quality was not good and with limited varieties.

The stay at the bungalow was wonderful ,the staff were very kind and there service was excellent ، There’s also a kids’ activity area with fun programs starting at 9 PM featuring the lovely Nour, who leads dancing and singing sessions for children.

Food was below expectations no variety and the quality was poor ,the pool was not heated

I recently visited Ras Sudr for the first time, and I must say the hotel was absolutely fascinating! The staff truly made our stay remarkable, from the incredible culinary team led by Mr. Ahmed to the attentive beach staff. The rooms were spacious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the private beach, which added to the relaxing experience. The only recommendation I have is to add a gym, which would make this hotel my all-time favorite. Thank you for such a wonderful stay—I’ll definitely be coming back!"

Excellent service by all teams front desk, F&B and animation.. Very attentive to all requests. The bunglows are very clean, beautiful beach, to be able to swim, strongly advise to bring swimming shoes. Pet friendly, with great cooperation from everyone. Would definitely go there again.

Restaurant is very basic standard Electricity load shedding from 3 am to almost 10 am daily while generator keeps faulting/restarting every 3 minutes

The place is very cozy, relaxing, and clean. The family suite was fantastic, and the view was amazing. The staff was not only friendly but also very helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed Fathy, the receptionist, as well as Noor, Korolos. Thanks Mohamed for the best turkish coffee ever. We enjoyed our short stay. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a relaxing place!

The design of the bungalow is new and comdorting nd the staff is extremely helpful and friendly specially Ahmed Fathy and Makary Fayez from reception. Mr. TAMER from the beach bar is very welcoming

The ac in the bungalow is not enough for anyone to sleep in the upper bed. Other than that it's an amazing choice

The staff and hospitality were excellent, they went above and beyond to guarantee we had a comfortable and fun stay, especially mr. Ahmed at the reception, ms. Nour for the animation team and really everyone else at the resort. The beach was very nice and relaxing. I would recommend it if you are looking for a place to relax with amazing service.

The bungalow was really nice and spacious. Pet friendly (allowed everywhere except pool area and restaurant). Beach is amazing but you need aqua shoes. The staff was very friendly, specially Mahmoud in the reception. Chargers available for Electric cars

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and there is no place to leave my dog while i dine but the stuff were friendly and wrapped my food to go.

Many things Beach is terrible, food quality , lack of activities in the evening like a hotel in the middle of no-where More over with very sad Beach. Also booking. Com should have informed us when we did the booking that part of the hotel still facing a construction area. Value for money is enological which led to re-evaluate our trust of booking .com as a travel advisor specially with the high profit margins booking. Com includes in your rate.

The family suite was amazing, clean, and picturesque. It is calm, with a nice beach and a perfect relaxing pool. Pet allowance is a good idea. near location to city center

the restaurant is serving food below average for the money paid: limited varieties, not of high quality, not so much delicious, very basic and ordinary—no lifts for the restaurant and the suites (high floors) not friendly for old aged persons.

Only one thing . you mentioned room with stove so I didn’t get my coffee machine the stove was there but we can’t use it It was only a decoration no gas and was not meant for clients to use

No dress code for the pool, nothing much to do in the evening ,need shoes to go in the sea

The staff are all very friendly especially Mr Garrah..the room is clean..the food is fresh and the portions are very good and everything is well organized..

The only thing needs more cleaning was the relaxing pool as there was sand inside it..and the bottom of the pool wasn’t as clean as the main pool..

Since the entrance MR Zakaria the FO manager was phenomenal giving great customer service and making sure all our requests are met, with a great smile and attitude.

The staff hospitality and service, the pools are nice, the beach is great, the room was very nice.

Food can be better, it was not that good honestly. The kids pool water was cold for babies and children to go into. So we just let our baby in the pool for less than 10 minutes.
