Wat hebben we hier een fijn verblijf gehad! Zeer rustige omgrving maar toch dichtbij de drukte. Apartement en zwembad waren geweldig. Ontbijt toch inbegrepen. Extra gratis matras gekregen omdat de bedbank wat klein is voor 2 pubers.

El alojamiento no está cerca pero tampoco lejos del centro (800 metros), de camino encontrarás lugares para comer y comprar, es un buen punto para descansar. Alquilan motos en excelente estado, recomiendo hacerlo con ellos para evitar problemas en la entrega La limpieza es muy buena El personal es muy amable, salvo la encargada que no siempre tiene muy buena predisposición El primer dia de alojamiento te ofrecen el desayuno sin cargo y eso es genial La piscina es un punto importante para pasar una tarde que no tengas ganas de salir, muy limpia Las habitaciones son geniales, espaciosas y con un jardín muy bien cuidado.

Nadie te dice que atras del alojamiento hay una escuela, la primera mañana (8 am) hicieron un recital de 2 horas, menos mal que después era sábado y domingo, o nos toco lluvia por la mañana 😂🤦🏻 La encargada de recepción no siempre tiene buen humor, buen trato o ganas de verte Alquile una moto le cargue el tanque de gasolina ese dia no lo use todo (deje 3/4 lleno), al día siguiente volví a pedir la moto y me querían dar otra con el tanque vacío (para vivos nosotros que somos latinoamericanos) Tienen paraguas rotos y una noche (8pm) no pudimos salir con lluvia porque no había paraguas disponibles que estén en condiciones, deberían realizar chequeos, ya que tampoco es que tengan sobrante de personal, solo tiene que realizar un check list para saber que los huéspedes tienen todos los servicios que ofrecen en condiciones Por el resto, vale la pena alojarse aquí

Esta en una ubicación perfecta, un poco alejado de todo el ruido del centro de Alona, pero lo suficientemente cerca como para que no se tarde mucho en llegar (unos 12 minutos caminando). Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y están muy limpias .

Location slightly out of the main busy area, so quiet and no late night noise. Hotel had a nice garden and very nice small pool (large enough to swim short laps). Staff very friendly. I couldn't get the TV to work, but wasn't that bothered so did not ask staff to assist.

The location is hidden from the hustle and bustle of the town. While it's not next to the beach (and Alona beach is not as pristine as before, so no big loss there), it's walking distance to the beach, to the many interesting restaurants, and one can take a tricycle in front of the hotel to go anywhere one pleases. What we particularly appreciated is the value for money - it is one of the few places that has "honest" price quality ratio, which is unfortunately rare in the Philippines, most decent accommodations being overpriced. It's a decent, honest lovely place with nice and helpful staff. We felt welcome and at home, i highly recommend it.

A little off the beaten track but Ok. Toilet seat needed fixing. Wifi not great i n the bedroom. Gas top cooker not working but not really needed.

The staff were nice and accommodating. Enough breakfast options for a week's stay. Location is very near the airport and Alona beach/ nightlife. Price per night is reasonable. My family had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

TV sound quality is poor. Some towels are worn out, need to be "retired". No bidet. Hahaha.

The room smelled a little bit mouldy on first arrival and the bed itself was just a foam mattress the toilet would easily block up.

The location was nice - 7 min walk away from the crowded city centre of Alona. The breakfast was also fine as complementary.

The staff was not really “on”. It was just really a standard hotel so the price was a little too high in our opinion.

Warm and friendly welcome - thank you for the decorations for our wedding anniversary- lovely grounds and pool area. Quiet location away from the main road and just a short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Spacious terrace.

The resort has a nice garden and a pool. Our apartment was nice and clean, staff were always helpful. Breakfast was tasty, and they had European and Filipino choices. The location is also good, the city centre is 15 minutes walking distance.

Beautiful property located in a quiet area within walking distance of the town and beach. The pool was perfect and the rooms were perfect and so clean! A good variety of breakfast choices on the menu which was included in the price. The staff were so friendly and helpful by assisting us with booking excursions/transport etc. would recommend Alona42 to anyone!

The bathroom and swimming pool were smelly . There was not even a cook in the restaurant . When I asked for breakfast which was included they went twice to the store because there was no eggs or milk . I waited like 25 min . I payed 40 usd for the room and the place had no cook which means no lunch or dinner available . When I let the staff notice the problems they start being extremely rude . Rude staff not helpful at all . Specially the girl at the reception , she actually said I “don’t care if you write a bad review “ . In one of the night I broke accidentally a glass and they even let me payed 5 usd . I cleaned myself but was not enough . With that money there are definitely better places . The room was just ok . Than I can not say 100% if is their fault but I had some money disappeared but I can not say if was actually their fault . I probably left some money in the room after check out but when I sent them a message they said the cleaner didn’t find any money . I’m not accusing but I still wonder . Overall very low standard for that price .

Very nice and quiet to stay close to the most relaxed side of Alona beach. Rooms and commons areas very clean. Beds are comfortable. The staff are very kind. The swimming pool is clean and big enough.

The one bed apartment is a great size. The separate bedroom has really good air conditioning, the balcony is a wonderful size and has options for sitting down. You are in the trees which is really refreshing. The fridge was a great size and it worked well. We purposefully chose a location that wasn't in town and was a bit quieter and this was perfect. Walkable to town but peaceful. The restaurant next door was also great and took card. Breakfast was quite tasty, I had the Spanish omelette (with no mushrooms!)

We weren't able to cook as we couldn't get the gas hob to work. We chose to go out for dinner rather than ask the staff if there was a switch outside. The kettle also was so slow to heat up it didn't boil.

Also didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that either. Location is a bit far from Alona but that is what I was looking for. Would definitely stay again

outside the crowded city center that may be loud and busy. this is certainly the main highlight of the hotel. the rest was as expected for the value.

20 mosquitos were waiting for us in the room, bit noisy as the rooms have common walls, Motel style layout (U shape)

When you look closer it's almost nasty. The mattress have stains, the pillows are molded, it's full of mosquitoes and we got strange bites all over our bodies the two nights we were here. I hope it was only in our room or bed like this. I was so happy to leave.. It's unfortunate for the staff who's really nice.

I thought it would be Filipino portion but it was very presentable and the toast taste great! Well done! - They’ve got parking for bikes and cars. - The pool is cleaned on a daily. - The Cable TV has a lot of channels that’s interesting to watch. - They have a lot of room for clothes if you want a long term stay. - They have a bar area, and a lot of food options you can buy and eat in your room with reasonable prices! - They have a nice balcony to chill out alone or with your partner. - They provide water on a daily! - They can assist you with tours and travels to other places (Cebu, Iloilo, Boracay and what not) around 1,250 via ferry. - It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, but you cannot use the same road at night. It’s dangerous. - Very helpful and courteous staff. Thanks everyone!

- The toilet didn’t have bidet. :( - If you want to go out at night, it is recommended to rent a bike because going back from the beach is a mile away. - The bed we got is like two single beds attached to each other, so the middle stand is the edge of both beds combined, and most times I forget that there’s a stand in the middle because the blanket is covering it so I kept hitting my leg on it. - They don’t provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Kindly bring your own.

Little things. They need to put more gravel on the walkway where it has worn away, they are forcing their guests to walk through mud every day to come and go. Some days the hot water barely worked. It would be nice to have some fresher options for breakfast like fruit.

Beautiful garden and good pool. Area is quiet but close to the center of Alona and Alona Beach. Pretty, small road to Alona Beach which takes less than 5 minutes by foot to get there. Breakfast was really nice and the options were good. They paid attention to our honeymoon by decorating the bed.

The quality of the housekeeping was variable. First time we didn't know we should've put up a sign on the door in case we needed cleaning. One time the trashbin was not emptied. Sometimes housekeeping had left us water bottles, sometimes not. There were no handtowels or pool towels eventhough in the room there's a sign about pool towels. Once we asked for pool towels, we got them but they were taken away during the next cleaning and not replaced. We also had some problems with the toilet flush, it's not very powerful.

Lovely staff! The receptionist help us to arrange our ferry to Cebu + the tuk tuk to the port very early in the morning. They also made a sandwich breakfast to go 😀

A very quiet environment. The 1 bed top floor rooms give you a lot of space. Very clean on arrival. Able to book ferry to Cebu ( 100 peso charge). Staff very friendly. Good shower pressure and hot water never ran out. Breakfast choice of 6 types, continental, American, 2 types of omelette and pancakes. Also Filipino choices. King bed was comfortable. Air con v efficient. Big fridge in kitchen area. Tiled floors. When you book a taxi and have paid Alona 42 make sure when the taxi comes you don't pay the driver! Having lived in Asia, the communication btn driver and resort isn't great- we had to tell Alona 42 to tell the taxi driver we were not paying him cash and we had to show Alona 42 the receipt they issued us. Make sure you double check travel arrangements.

Sadly we got bitten by bed bugs. The location is down the ugly end of the beach ( not beachfront). 15 minutes walk along a dirty road with no pavement. Bin never emptied during 5 days. Understood the cleaning only every 3 days but this did not happen. No fresh fruit or veg at breakfast. Juice is cordial. Sofa in living room needs to be replaced - sagging can feel the springs. Black mold in grout and shower.
