Lovely villa (villa 2) with seas view. Big lounge and big bedroom. Nice air con. Lovely plunge pool on the terrace (approx 3mx3m). Stones throw to the pool. Plenty of beds. Very close to lots of bars and restaurants. Very close to Lamai street food market but far enough away to be peaceful at the villa. Would recommend and would return.

Die Lage des Resorts ist super! Für uns war der Standort in Lamai perfekt, nicht zu ruhig und nicht so wild und laut wie in Chaweng. Auch die Aufmachung des Resorts an sich ist sehr süß. Der Strand ist zwar durch eine niedrige Mauer vom Resort abgetrennt, allerdings ist die direkte Strandnähe praktisch und entspannend! Das Frühstück hat uns persönlich sehr gut gefallen, wir mögen aber auch gerne auf Fitness ausgerichtetes Essen. Das Personal hat nach unseren Anmerkungen (siehe unten) sehr zuvorkommend reagiert und sich bemüht uns trotzdem einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen.

Wir waren leider etwas enttäuscht von unserem Zimmer bzw. Badezimmer. Die Dusche hatte eine sehr dicke Kalkschicht und auch das Waschbecken war nicht sauber genug nach unserem Geschmack. Nachdem wir mit dem Personal gesprochen hatten, haben wir das Zimmer gewechselt. Dies erschien zuerst sauberer, allerdings war auch hier das Waschbecken nicht wirklich sauber und die Klimaanlage hat ab und zu mehrere Stunden gebraucht, um das Zimmer 4 Grad herunter zu kühlen. Das Zimmer und auch Badezimmer wirkten im Gesamteindruck nicht richtig sauber, was unser Wohlgefühl leider sehr beeinträchtigt hat.

Something to be aware of is that there's no alcohol served onsite and you're not allowed to consume things purchased elsewhere in the pool area. Our private pool was very small

Sehr schöne Anlage, fühlt sich an wie im Urwald. Unsere Villa war die Nummer 10, danach kommt nach hinten nur noch die 11 - beide liegen super ruhig und haben einen privaten Pool und sind sehr ruhig. Hier kann man gut abschalten und entspannen auch wenn ganz nahe zum Night Market. Nicht nur ein Seven Eleven fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück wird per Karte bestellt und es kommen auch einige von außen zum frühstücken. Das Meal Prep das das Restaurant führt arbeiten mit einer Protein Marke zusammen und hat gesunde Und leckere Küche. Über eine Brücke kommt man zum Strand und rechter Hand ist der Strand super und es gibt ein Quallenschutznetz. Um 20 Uhr finden dort Feuershows von zwei Restaurants statt. Auf dem Nacht Markt spielt eine gute Band und man findet viel leckeres Essen.

Beautiful private pool.

Hot water was not always available and the bath was over a bath (?), which was the size of a large pond.

The villa was a great size and very clean. The best was comfortable with the best pillows in Thailand. Location wise, its great. At the quiet end of the beach but really close to the night market for some good food choices. The staff were superb. Any issues or queries were resolved really quickly and they were always friendly and happy. The managers at reception were incredible helpful in sorting out moped hire which was delivered to the hotel door. Fantastic service all around.

I really liked the privacy and the peaceful ambience. The property is clean, well designed and looks upscale. You feel you are in the midst of nature and can completely relax. The rooms are huge and spacious.

I liked our private pool, breakfast was nice, very health concious choices, close to the beach and a lot of restaurants are nearby.

I know it is probably not Zara's fault, but sometimes the pool area had a bad smell, but since we had a private pool we never needed to use this pool anyways.

Le personnel était très aimable et serviable. L’emplacement est bien pour découvrir le reste de l’île. Le petit déjeuner était bon, et la chambre spacieuse et confortable. Nous avons également pu louer des scooters directement auprès de l’hôtel, ce qui était très pratique.

Les bâtiments sont assez vieillissants par rapport aux photos, c’était assez décevant. L’hôtel est à 1min d’une grande plage qui n’a pas vraiment de charme mais elle a le mérite d’exister !

De ligging ten opzichte van de winkelstraat en barretjes is prima, 2 minuten lopen naar de supermarkt.

Dit was.ons duurste hotel in Thailand maar het meest teleurstellende. De foto's op booking en de Europese prijzen scheppen een verwachting. De kamer was ruim maar daar is dan ook alles mee gezegd (als je op de wc zit kan iemand vanaf de bak meekijken, geen privacy), het bed was net een trampoline, douchen in het bad of met een hele harde handdouche of een regendouche waar geen druk op.zat. De kieren tussen de glazen deuren en kozijnen zijn zo ruim dat de gekkos er gewoon doorheen liepen. Alles was een beetje smoezelig, vieze gordijnen, vochtplekken op de muren etc. Verder moet je geen verwachtingen hebben van het ontbijt, je besteld iets van de kaart en dat is het. Voor deze prijs mag je meer verwachten. Blowen op het terrein is blijkbaar toegestaan want het personeel liep er lang en greep niet in, dit kwam regelmatig voor. Er is geen toegang tot het strand vanaf het park, dat is afgesloten.

Super emplacement, entre la plage et la grande rue, près du night market. Personnel accueillant et adorable. Les bungalows sont dans un beau jardin tropical. La piscine privée est vraiment minuscule mais c’est joli. La piscine partagée est grande et agréable.

Équipements un peu vieillissants (canapé déchiré). Lit d’appoint tout petit. Petit dej simple (pas de buffet, 1 plat au choix), bon mais pas suffisant pour un ado ;-)

La habitación estaba muy limpia. Cada poco pasaba el personal para limpiar la piscina privada.

El canal de agua estancada que lo separaba de la playa hacia que hubiese muchos mosquitos. Falta de mantenimiento sobre todo de zonas como la ducha y algo viejo. Al colchón también le hacía falta un cambio. Por fuera también se notaba la falta de mantenimiento.

Bardzo duży i przestronny domek z basenem i dwoma sypialniami. Czysto, obsługa super.

Najdroższa willa w całym resorcie i… całkowity brak widoku. Z prywatnego basenu patrzymy na ścianę domku przed nami. brakowało w jadalni tostera lub mikrofalówki - rozumiem brak pełnoprawnej kuchni ze względu na czystość, ale taki mały toster byłby super.

I like that you have your own "house" with a small pool. and the size was good. around 75sqm according to description.

Alot...first of all. Not very clean inside. Ocean view was not so much ocean view as I thought. Expensive and poor breakfast. No alcohol in the bar, but it was ok to smoke cigarettes and weed apparently. Power went out for almost 8 hours. And no back up for this. There was also a sport area very close to us where to locals play sport late at night and this was disturbing. The money I paid to stay here was not worth it. So im not happy with my stay at Zara.

Wir haben uns in der Anlage wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Villa war sauber. Besonders die ruhige Lage von Villa 11 hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war gut und bot alles, was man für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag braucht. Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen und entspannten Aufenthalt.

Die Dusche wirkte etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sollte renoviert werden. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel hat uns persönlich nicht ganz so gut gefallen, da es auf Koh Samui schönere Strandabschnitte gibt. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass an der Poolbar keine alkoholischen Getränke angeboten werden und insgesamt großer Wert auf eine gesunde Ernährung gelegt wird. So war beispielsweise nur zuckerfreie Cola erhältlich. Wir hatten das Glück, in Villa 11 ganz am Ende der Anlage untergebracht zu sein. Dort war es angenehm ruhig und wir hatten auch an unserem privaten Pool Privatsphäre. Bei den weiter vorne gelegenen Poolvillen hatten wir jedoch den Eindruck, dass die Privatsphäre am privaten Pool etwas eingeschränkter sein könnte, da Gäste und Mitarbeiter regelmäßig daran vorbeilaufen.

The villa was beautiful, our little private pool was cleaned regularly, the bed was comfortable. Joob and Elaine were amazing ♡ they helped us with anything we needed throughout our stay and even did extras like call a store for us and have an item delivered so we didn't have to take a taxi to go get it. The owner is a very kind, friendly man, the hospitality of this place is top notch. During our stay, we could not have wanted for anything more. We will be back one day!

Eigenes Bungalow mit Pool, grossräumig und gute Lage direkt neben den Lamai Night Market. Wenige Meter vor dem Hotel ist der Lamai Beach, die Poolanlage ist sehr schön.

Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig funktioniert dafür hatte es zusätzlich Ventilatoren an der Decke.

Superbra läge nära stranden och i ett lugnt område. Fint poolområde och trevlig personal. Vi gillade uteplatsen där vi kunde sitta på kvällen. Cirka 2 minuter gång från 7/11.

Badrummet var väldigt litet och inte superfräscht. Vi hittade också 2 kackerlackor i rummet men det kanske är förväntat i en miljö så nära naturen.

We booked the Royal Sea Suite for 10 days to start off our honeymoon and I can only recommend it highly. It looks even better than the pictures online, one of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help you. The bed was so comfortable and the private pool cleaned daily. The food at the resort is also excellent, all in all a fantastic stay! Even when we had a problem with the air conditioner unit leaking on our last day, the problem was solved by Elaine quickly and efficiently with minimal fuss. Wonderful place!

Great location and great value for money

Obiekt bardzo ładny i estetyczny. Lokalizacja naprawdę świetna, blisko plaży, nocnego marketu i dużej ilości sklepów. Obsługa hotelowa bardzo bardzo miła i pomocna.

Stan łazienki można kwestionować. Brak ciepłej wody był również sporym minusem oraz brak jakiegokolwiek stoliku,krzesełka czy stoliczków nocnych w sypialni sprawiał duży dyskomfort.

it is a beautiful place. we had the poolvilla and we enjoyed it very much. the staff is really nice, especially the receptionist was very helpful & an angel. we even stayed for one more night!

the only part we disliked had nothing to do with the hotel itself. its just an unpleasent smell in the air from the pond.

Das Resort ist ganz nett, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Villa mit Pool und Meerblick war sehr schön eingerichtet und wirklich geräumig, sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Der Sanitärbereich wirklich schön und geräumig. 2 seperate Klimaanlagen für Wohn- und Schlafbereich top, das Bett groß und bequem. Der Aussenbereich ausreichend groß und der Pool sauber (wurde täglich gereinigt) und auch angenehm kühl, was bei permanenten Temperaturen von über 30° wirklich toll war. Das Frühstück war ganz gut. Der Lamai Nightmarket ist nur 3 Gehminuten entfernt. 7eleven ebenso. Grundsätzlich haben wir uns dort recht wohl gefühlt, aber es gab leider auch ein paar Dinge die uns nicht gefallen haben.

1. Der Ausdruck Meerblick ist hier recht optimistisch interpretiert. Man sieht das Meer nur stückweise zwischen Bäumen und Sträuchern hindurch (Entfernung ca 100m). 2. Der Strand beim Resort ist schmutzig und ungepflegt und man findet in der näheren Umgebung auch keine Strandliegen, auch das Resort hat keine. Das Meer dort ist nicht sehr einladend da sehr trüb. Wir haben täglich einen ausgedehnten Strandspaziergang gemacht zu schöneren Abschnitten auf Lamai. 3. Der Pool unserer Villa war leider nicht sehr privat da es keinen ausreichenden Sichtschutz gibt. Jeder der vorbei ging konnte uns uneingeschränkt beim Plantschen zusehen. 4. Der große Pool beim Resort bzw die dortige Poolbar wird nicht vom Resort betreut. Das Essen und die Getränke dort sind auf "health" ausgelegt. Es gibt dort keinen Alkohol und geraucht darf auch nicht werden. Es wäre halt schon nett nach einem Tag am Strand abends gemütlich ein Bierchen oder Glaserl Wein zu trinken. 4. Strom nur mit Schlüsselkarte. Ist man den ganzen Tag unterwegs, hat die Hütte den ganzen Tag keinen Strom, sprich keine Klima und auch keine kalten Getränke im Kühlschrank. Das mit der Klima ist nicht so schlimm da es eh recht schnell wieder runtergekühlt ist, aber dass auch der Kühlschrank den ganzen Tag stromlos ist, ist wirklich ärgerlich. 5. Kein Nachttischchen und daher auch keine Lampe dort. Nur Festbeleuchtung möglich.

Staff was very helpful and breakfast (although it is not an open buffet) was delicious. They have different styled resturant more western and focused on healthy options. It was pleasent to spend time in the pool. Nice choice of drinks at the bar. Location is great - very close to great resturants and night market, shops.

Overall hotel needs deep cleaning and maintenance. Rooms are cleaned everyday but because it is old, still did not feel clean. The shared jakuzzi is cleaned upon our request but the problem is not the leafs, it is the tiles (so old that it does not look clean anymore). Toilet of the resturant&pool was full of mosquitos, and shower was chalky and had mould. Toilets had a spot too. I did not feel comfortable at this hotel during out stay due to cleanliness. Sea was not clean as well, we booked this hotel as it is next to the see but the water was dirty.

La villa avec piscine privée était au top. Une maison authentique et moderne à la fois avec tout ce qu’il fallait à l’intérieur. Un séjour confortable avec un emplacement rêvé à l’entrée de la plage de lamai proche de commerces et de restaurants. Le personnel au petit soin.

La villa était très belle et les extérieurs très beaux

Le mobilier de notre villa était vieillissant et mal entretenu, lit d'appoint rouillé et une simple planche en guise de sommier pour un hôtel de ce standing inadmissible. Le personnel de la réception très sympathique en revanche celui du bar-petit déjeuner pas sympathique du tout. Nous avons du demander chaque jour, du papier toilette, savon, vider le cendrier. Ce genre de chose devraient être faite spontanément dans un resort de ce standing. Déçue!

L'hôtel est très confortable et rien à dire sur les équipements proposés. Gros plus : il est bien situé pour sortir en famille,car à côté du night market de lamai! Le personnel est au petit soin, des activités sont proposées au départ de l'hôtel.

Outdated. Gross old bathroom. Really bad (sewer) smell at the pool, which was also very cloudy. No furniture in the room besides bed, makes putting your stuff somewhere difficult; a nightstand would have helped

The accommodation was huge, high ceilings, love walk down shower. Brilliant air con and fans. The doors shut tightly so no bugs whatsoever came in. Bed really comfy. Staff always sweeping around our pool. We didnt have a bedside table one side of the bed, so we whatsapped reception and they brought one over immediately. Very close to the town and the local Lamai night market, where we ate every night.

The location is amazing. Not even a minute walk from the beach wish can be seen from the rooms and the pool/restaurant area.

My only suggestion is that they should have indoor slippers available so that sand doesn't get tracked inside.

Der Strand direkt vor der Anlage ist recht dreckig und nicht sehr schön, aber wenn man ein paar Meter weitergeht, wird´s traumhaft. Unser Bungalow Villa 1 war top, das Frühstück sehr lecker und für uns auch ausreichend in der Auswahl. Alle Mitarbeiter waren superfreundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

מנהלי המלון ישראלים והאנשים הכי טובים שתמצאו בתאילנד! אלון דורון וענת פשוט מקסימים,דאגו לנו להכל ועזרו במה שצריך מעל ומעבר,אירחו אותנו בצורה מופתית נתנו לנו להרגיש הכי בבית שיש רצינו להשאר עוד אבל לא נשארו חדרים פנויים לצערי . אני ממליצה לכולם להתארח במלון הזה ולהנות מהאנשים המופלאים האלו ומהמלון המקסים , החדרים גדולים מרווחים,יש מים חמים בשפע,זרם טוב,בריכה כייפית,ארוחת בוקר מצויינת ויחס אישי.

Wir hatten eine Pool Villa und ich war im Vorfeld eher skeptisch, da ich etliche negative Bewertungen gelesen hatte. Umso erfreut war ich nach der Ankunft diese tolle Villa zu sehen. Zuerst war der Empfang super freundlich, hat uns alles erklärt. Dann die Villa gezeigt und den eigenen Pool. Am nächsten Morgen hört man ganz leise wie vor der Tür die Blätter gefegt werden, der Pool wird dann kuze Zeit später mit dem Schlauch gereinigt. Wer da schreibt, der Pool ist verschmutz braucht eine neue Brille. Täglich wurde alles perfekt gesäubert, klar fallen Blätter in den Pool da die Anlage zwischen Bäumen gebaut wurde, aber was ist daran Schmutz? Die Größe der Villa ist gigantisch, die Ausstattung perfekt, sollten wir nochmal nach Samui kommne werden wir selbstverständlich wieder im Zara buchen. Wir hatten das Frühstück gleich mitgebucht und auch das war jeden Morgen perfekt. Der Strand ist in ein paar Schritten leicht erreichbar und die Lage zur Ortsmitte perfekt. Alle Mitarbeiter im Hotel und an der Bar sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben

Bonjour, Le personnel sympathique tout le reste une desolation complète. Une chambre juste tres vieillotte je vous parle même pas de la salle de bain un désastre. Une vue de ma terrasse sur les poubelles je suis pas restée. Des vacances à regarder les déchets non merci. J avais réservé pour 3 nuitées j ai annulé. Je suis restée une nuitée. Du coup j en ai payé malgré tout 2 pour dédommager l hôtel je trouve cela honteux.

In onze villa waren helaas diverse beschadigingen zichtbaar. Jammer dat deze niet zijn hersteld aangezien het oogt dat ze er al lange tijd zijn, zoals scheur in bank en afgebladderde verf en formica. Ook was de wc-bril veel te klein waardoor dit niet comfortabel was. Alles was verder wel prima schoon.

Die Lage war sehr gut, weil man zu Fuss direkt ins Zentrum laufen kann. Auch das Meer ist direkt vor der Tür, allerdings gibt es schönere Strände etwas weiter entfernt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet, es gibt allerdings Unterschiede und nicht alle sind gleich schön.

Wir wussten nicht, dass das Hotel vor allem für Fitness-Fans ausgerichtet ist. Es gibt keinen Alkohol an der Bar und die Essensauswahl ist auf Protein-Ernährung ausgerichtet. Das war nicht tragisch, aber eine Info im Hotelbeschrieb hätte uns vorbereitet. Das Personal an der Bar war zwar gut geschult, schien aber nicht sehr happy zu sein.
