Tolle familiäre Atmosphäre, aufmerksames Personal mit jeder Menge Tipps und Empfehlungen rund um unseren Aufenthalt und mögliche Aktivitäten. Es gibt eine what’s App Gruppe, worüber alle wichtigen Infos geteilt werden - das ist total hilfreich. Ansonsten besticht das Hotel durch sein authentisches Farm-Leben auf dem Land, einer tollen Umgebung und dem direkten Roller und Fahrrad-Verleih, sodass man direkt die Umgebung erkunden kann. Danke an das ganze Team für 2 tolle Tage bei euch ( trotz des Regens) ☺️

Die Türen und Fenster haben leider Schlitze, sodass das Zimmer nie ganz geschlossen ist.

Sehr schöne Anlage bezüglich Bar und Pool. Freundlicher Chef mit großem Angebot an Unternehmungen. Sehr schöne Bar zum Abends verweilen.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en spreekt bovendien ook goed Engels. Er is van alles te doen in en rondom de Farmstay, vaak georganiseerd door de Farmstay zelf. Zoals een sunset buggy ride (aanrader!), ochtend wandeling door het dorp of een filmavond. De kamer (en badkamer) waren erg groot en schoon, en alles is leuk en kleurrijk aangekleed. De locatie is een eindje weg van het centrum van Phong Nha, maar dat maakt het wel authentiek. Bovendien mag je gratis een fiets lenen en zijn er voldoende transport opties. Verder ook een goede keuken met lokale en westerse gerechten. Het was geen probleem om na het uitchecken onze spullen een middag te laten staan en we mochten zelfs nog even douchen voordat onze reis weer verder ging.

Er zaten soms wat mieren op tafel.

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by my stay at Phong Nha farmstay. From my first arrival, I was warmly greeted by Mai who explained how the various parts of the farmstay worked. She also provided lots of resources on things to do in Phong Nha. The farmstay operates a WhatsApp group which provides excellent trips to travellers. Additionally, the accomodation was very tastefully done, incorporating lots of modern amenities alongside rustic elements. All the staff were extremely warm and helpful. For everything it offers (a lot which I didn't have space to list in this review), the price is also great.

Absolutely fantastic stay a the Elements Collection just a short ride from the Farmstay, gorgeous village location over paddy fields. Ben and his staff couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Food and service was exceptional.

We were 2 families travelling together and these properties allowed us live as families in a well appointed house with pool each but next to each other.

Liked the peaçeful and picturesque location surrounded by fields with the mountains in the background ..The complimentary bikes and the daily shuttle to Phong Nha village and Phong Nha cave allowed us to enjoy the peaceful location without feeling isolated( you could also rent moterbikes from the Farmstay ) The overall vibe was welcoming, the stafff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing and owner was a true host , talking to all the guests and providing information on the area and things to do.....Bed was comfortable, standard room was spacious , appreciated the fan and airconditioning.

Some of the free bicycles could do with more maintenance .

The staff was incredibly helpful and always knew exactly which activities to recommend and the best times to enjoy them. They genuinely want you to love the area and make the most of your stay. Their personalized advice made such a difference and really helped us have an amazing experience!

We rented scooters from the Farmstay and made a tour through the area past various attractions such as Commander Cave, Dark Cave and Botanical Gardens. This was probably our best event suring our Vietnam holidays. Also the morning walk with Sau through the village Waa memorable! Truly recommended.

A little slice of paradise. Rooms are immaculately presented, bar/restaurant/pool area is amazing and you can see the beautiful phong nha countryside right next to you. They helped us arrange a phong nha rider for the day to see the botanical garden, paradise cave and dark cave which was a beautiful way to see the area.

The staff here are amazing! We stayed in Villa Kim which is an 8 minute cycle ride from the main site. The villa is massive, exceptionally clean and in the most beautiful setting. The beds are very comfy and there is everything you need for your stay. The area is beautiful, very relaxing and calmer than most areas of Vietnam.

Loved our stay at Phong Nha Farmstay. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, large comfortable room and great restaurant. The staff were all amazingly helpful. So many things to do in Phong Nha, we wished we could stay longer. One of the highlights of our Vietnam trip.

De Farmstay ligt in een mooi landelijk gebied en is een prima stek voor uitstapjes in de buurt. Dit is vanuit de farmstay goed te regelen. Er gaat elke dag een gratis shuttle naar Phong Nha en later op de dag ook weer terug.. wij hebben een trip met Phong Nha riders gemaakt naar enkele bezienswaardigheden. Dit was een leuke manier om de omgeving te zien.

Op een dag wat last van ongedierte gehad maar dat kan je verwachten in zo’n landelijke omgeving.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room far exceeded our expectations from the photos. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff did a great job helping us celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday

Everything, great friendly owner, super helpful staff, who also care for your needs and enjoy a friendly chat, finding out about you and you family. Huge, clean room with the biggest bed ever, great convenient bathroom. Good breakfast, great dinner menu and food, cold drinks with good variety and a great happy hour. Also a super good sized pool. Everything you need is on site or the staff will help you.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom property some distance from the main facilities but it was gorgeous with a lovely private pool. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The electricity noise in the room was very loud--the fridge and fan. Things were also quite expensive compared to local prices in town

The Highlight on our trip in Vietnam! Extremely nice village, hotel, food and last but not least: highly professional, friendly team! 2 recommendations staying at Phong Nha Farmstay: -) Paricipate the Vietnamese Culinary Experience - the best food we had in Vietnam so far -) we took scooters and in addition also an easy rider as guide for our tour to paradise and dark cave. He took us to incredible nice places (little bridges, fascinating mountain roads, even a little ferry...) - such a nice advanture!

Parfait ! Le logement avec 2 chambres et piscine vraiment top, mieux que sur les photos, les services proposés sont à la hauteur, massage, manucure, salle de sport, le patron et l'équipe est super sympa ! The villa was lovely - a real treat. All the staff were really friendly and we really enjoyed meeting them. The pool was good and food was very good too.

We didn't quite realise the villa was as far from the rest of the hotel. I also felt that there was a bit too much upselling.

Well run, professional, well established. Really nice large room. Excellent Happy Hour. Useful shuttle into town. Enjoyed an Easy Rider tour of the national park w very good drivers arranged by the Farmstay.

It really is a long way from town - I did know this when I booked (my fault!) but even with their base in town, it’s a long way from the main action.

De accomodatie (villa met zwembad) was in alle opzichten fantastisch. Zeer vriwndelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ze gaven ook veel.tips en verhalen. Fietsen waren gratis. Dik voor elkaar.

Het was soms lastig een Grab te krijgen vanwege de ligging (in een klein plaatsje op circa 9 km van Phong Nha. De (horeca)prijzen zijn relatief pittig. Dit was in de 2 weken het duurste stukje Vietnam qua accomodatie en horecaprijzen.

This stay absolutely made our experience in Phong Nha. The pool and surrounding area are amazing, rooms are clean and uniquely decorated, air conditioning was strong (very important for us 🥵). We loved taking the sunset safari offered in the farm stay and mostly we were grateful for the service we received especially from manager Long and staff member Nam. Yes it’s a little off the beaten track but very cheap on grab, and in our opinion this was part of the charm. The hotel also offers a shuttle and honestly it was so stunning we were happy just eating and drinking in the hotel anyway! Everything was great.

The farm stay was a lovely change from the chaos of the cities. It felt so peaceful and relaxing. The staff went above expectations to welcome you, make sure your tours were planned and advise you on the area. The WhatsApp chat group was a great idea. Keeping us up to date with what was going on at the stay and in the area. The rooms were rustic and comfortable with lovely views over the paddy fields and the food was delicious. Diem, Long and Mai were exceptional with what they do to make sure we had a fab stay and Long was great at entertaining us with his accents and impersonations, he'd make a good stand up comedian but also very professional and helpful.

The bed was abit too hard but some people might like it like that.

The private pool in the room were absolutely perfect. Spot on point. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating in every way you couldn’t ask for more. It was so relaxing and in the most amazing spot overlooking the right field so romantic.

Location was remote...the rooms themselves do not have much of a view which is a shame...but the central reception, pool and restaurant and bar have an excellent view and atmosphere

The room's aircon was not working. Sadly the rooms have been designed w high ceilings, which means whatever limited aircon is being wasted cooling irrelevant ceiling space and leaving the room rather warm

Three of us were lucky enough to stay in Elements Villa Kim, which was a short ride from the main area in the ever available free transport, in an absolutely beautiful region of wonderful Vietnam. Stunning accommodation with huge bedrooms on one side of a covered courtyard, connected on the other side to a spacious lounge/kitchen/dining room area, with a third shower room and toilet. Through the courtyard was our private swimming pool in the garden area. On the first floor was an enormous patio area, with another kitchen and a fourth shower room! The main area comprised the entrance courtyard, reception, large dining area and a good sized swimming pool, all with beautiful views out over the pastures. The staff couldn’t have been more polite and helpful, and the whole place is a huge credit to the owners who put it all together. Superlatives all round!

Beautiful property! Gorgeous views of rice fields and nice area to walk around. The room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfy, and AC worked well. Staff was nice and owners really involved and kind. Insanely cool: this resort basically put the entire phong nha National park and town on the map. When they built it, no one was allowed in the park and their families thought they were insane…now it’s a major tourist destination, literally because of them and this place! They also provide great ideas for day trips (walks, self-guided scooter adventure to visit some caves, actual tours with company/guide, etc) and will help you arrange whatever you want. The owners are around and super friendly, want to make sure you have a fun trip!

It’s a bit removed from the city. We biked an hour in to town, or you can ride a scooter/grab like 20 min. Not crazy far, but for better or worse, there is nothing much around. The food is just okay, but costs 2-3x regular food in Vietnam which was a little bit of a letdown, especially since there are no other options nearby. Dont get me wrong, the food is fine, but not worth the markup. It’s not actually a FARMstay, like not a functioning farm. If you are looking for a more traditional home/farm stay (and there are lots of lovelyyyy ones we have been happy to stay at in Vietnam) this is not that — it’s more a resort with beautiful farm views. Which is also great! We don’t stay in a lot of super nice resort type places — usually more budget travel style — but It kinda feels like this place just marks prices up for things (laundry, scooter rental, food, etc all at least double normal Vietnam prices) just because they can. By no means exorbitant costs (especially by American/European standards), but you definitely pay more than typical Vietnam prices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this lovely farmstay. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous.

The outdoor chair cushions could use a little refreshing but still a great outdoor space.

Everything was amazing, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect. We arrived on an early train and pick up was seamless and was able to check in early, we departed super early and that was accommodated with no issues. All the staff were so friendly and actually wanted to talk to you and get to know you. Although abit out of town there is a shuttle in and out of town, and the location makes it. Breakfast watching the water buffalo is the the best.

Everything. Staff . Exceptional , nothing that they couldn’t organize for you, Ben has the most fantastic team and they keep up to date with the needs of tourists. Food is good quality with the best Salt coffee I have had. Views were amazing.

The staff were exceptional- always wanting to make sure our stay was memorable. The suite was clean, comfortable and perfect for a small family. So many activities to do which was ideal for our four night stay from taking the free bicycles for a ride through the village streets, to exploring the multiple caves and local duck farms. The food as well was delicious and had options for the authentic Vietnamese tastebuds but also plenty of options. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!

Not much to not like about the property! It was truly a gem!

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb im Grünen, deshalb muss man etwas öfter Grab fahren. Dafür ist es aber sehr ruhig. Es ist wirklich sauber und gerade das Service Personal ist sehr bemüht. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Essen im Restaurant. Wir haben dort nichts gegessen, aber die anderen Gäste sahen sehr zufrieden aus. Der Karottenkuchen war sehr lecker, wie zu Hause. Die Preise sind etwas teurer als in der Stadt, aber das bleibt einem ja selbst überlassen. Anders als andere hier schreiben, waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Frühstück. Es ist kein Buffet sondern ein Gericht aus einer Auswahl von westlichen und internationalen Speisen und von der Portion komplett ausreichend.

🪳🪳🪳Wir sind um 4:30 Uhr in der Nacht angekommen mit Ankündigung. Trotzdem hat es kurz zu Verwirrung geführt als wir angekommen sind. Man hat uns ins Zimmer begleitet und als wir das Licht im Bad anmachten haben wir direkt drei Kakerlaken gesehen, die in der Dusche an den Wänden krabbelten. Später im Restaurant, Pool, Bar und Rezeption Bereich haben wir weitere 2 gesehen. Also 5 Kakerlaken innerhalb von 24h. Wir wissen, dass das in Vietnam generell vorkommen kann. Hatten es bisher in unserer 2-wöchigen Reise aber noch nie einer Unterkunft. Wir haben uns nicht mehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft sind eine Nacht früher abgereist, haben im Bad immer das Licht angelassen und auch mit Licht die eine Nacht geschlafen. Viele Bewertungen berichteten hier vom aufdringlichen verkäuferischen Verhalten. Wir haben es nur von der Rezeptionistin erfahren. Wir wissen nicht, ob die Intention einfach nur Service sein sollte, aber uns war es am Ende zu viel. Vielleicht war es auch die Art und Weise, ohne Lächeln und genervt wenn man es ablehnte. Wie gesagt wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt und vielleicht waren wir deshalb auch nicht die besten Gäste. Um fair zu bleiben wir haben die Kakerlaken im Zimmer nicht gemeldet, da es uns bei der Menge wie ein generelles und so einfach nicht lösbares Problem erschien. Obwohl viele Aspekte auch wirklich gut waren, ist unsere allgemeine Bewertung eher schlecht, da Kakerlaken für uns ein großes Problem darstellen. Wir würden nicht nochmal wieder kommen.

Het personeel is heel attent en behulpzaam. De mensen van de receptie denken met je mee en kunnen van alles voor je regelen. De dames van de bediening vinden het leuk om een praatje te maken.

De prijzen liggen wat hoger dan dat je in de rest van Vietnam ziet, maar dat is wel relatief. Echt duur is het het nooit in Vietnam.

The rooms and setting is beautiful. The staff is so dedicated and nice. Feels very cosy and like family. Quyen and Phuong were extremely helpful and always happy to accommodate.

Limited options for breakfast, more fruit, yogurt etc could be made available. Our room was meant to have a mountain view and terrace but we were given another room with no explanation made. High steep stair case , no view but spacious. Safe not working.

Love this place. Great countryside location - perfect for relaxing and also for quiet bike rides and walks in the local farmland. Lots of info about the range of activities in the area. Staff were fab - very friendly and chatty.

We were in one of the villas; amazing space bedrooms and outside bath were great and the pool was fantastic. The communal dining and pool area were very calm and relaxed.

Aales was echt top, fijne accommodatie, prachtige plek, super leuke en fijne sfeer. We hadden hier langer kunnen blijven. We hebben alles op de scooter gedaan, wat een prachtige omgeving. En dan kom je terug in een fijne sfeervolle accommodatie. De meiden zijn echt zo lief en leuk! Niet twijfelen, boeken. Alle info krijg je een paar dagen ervoor op de app. Wat er op het menu staat of wat er te doen is. Echt heel fijn.

Dat we weer weg moesten naar ons volgende plek.

Fijn zwembad met mooi uitzicht. Comfortabel restaurant met fijne stoelen. Vriendelijk personeel. Schone en rustige kamers.

Het eten is erg overpriced, er zijn geen andere restaurants in de buurt. De deuren en ramen hebben grote kieren naar buiten waardoor je de kamer niet volledig kan afsluiten van bijvoorbeeld insecten. Hard bed.

Great value for money! I was slightly worried about staying on a total farm but this place is truly special! Everything in pristine clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, all the food was very good and fresh - Vietnamese and western staples, and the views around are incredible

Absolutely wonderful! Our best stay in Vietnam. Staff was so helpful and the facilities excellent; er were surprised by the Well equipped gym. The pool/bar/restaurant area is so cozy and nice with a beautiful view of surrounding ricefields. Nice to sit and sip coffee while the kids enjoy the pool. The food is also delicious, espevially the vietnamese food - but also decent pizzas and burgers if your kids has had enough of the vietnamese cuisine. Lots of activities. We stayed 4 nights and had plenty to do. Recommend the jungle hike in botanical garden (real hike, no botanical garden vibe here) ending up at a beautiful waterfall where you can swim. Also recommend the phong nha Cave. The duck farm is also excellent. The people in the village are very friendly, recommend taking a walk of bicycle tour. We stayed at the villas at 5 elements, and were a bit surprised that these specific villas are located 2 km from the main hotel, as I do not see this listed here on the site. However, there is a car (and not just any car; and old us military jeep) picking you up and dropping you of whenever you need - our kids loved it! There are also bicycles available. The walk there is also really nice. With very small children this could be anonymitet, but just check out what excactly you book then. Didnt affect our rating here! Just do it!

This place has such a lovely vibe to it. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. The staff really looked after us, helping us book boat tickets and giving us tips for our excursions. Food is excellent. Having drinks while looking at the sun set over the paddy fields while our kids are playing in the pool was just bliss. Thorougly recommended!
