El hotel es muy lindo, los chicos de entretenimiento unos genios, y el buffet “LA ROCA” al igual que los restaurantes temáticos son espectaculares. Tienen buena gastronomía. Tiki Bar super ricos los jugos naturales!

Lo que no me gustó es el buffet principal, creo q se llama LA TERRAZA, la comida era más o menos, y el personal x ahí no era muy amable o hacían caras de mala predisposición si les consultabas algo.

Never go there! Don’t worth it. The staff is lazy and careless about problems and don’t pay any attention about it.. The rooms are dirty, the towels (for beach and for a bath) are a big, big issue , in the bungalow we have a cockroach and nobody solve the problem. The food and the liquor are compromised , even for an all inclusive concept. The excursions don’t worth it. There is no snorkeling there, nevertheless they assure you the opposite. A full disaster…. And finally, my experience there is strong- I compare with many countries where n the region..

Lo que me encanta de este hotel y del Palace es la playa. Excelente para nadar y estar tranquilos. Bellas puestas de sol.

En primer lugar, no me dieron la habitación qué reservé que era una habitación superior de 34 m2 con vista al jardin. En vez de ella, nos pusieron en un bungalow al lado de la piscina donde el ruido, sobretodo el de la fiesta del dia lunes 9 de febrero, fue insoportable. Lo cómodo eso sí, fue que estábamos cerca de todo. Wifi pésimo. La habitación que me ofrecieron por booking no tuvo nada que ver con la asignada. Maquinas de bebidas malas. Ruidoso en extremo.

La comida bajo muchísimo la calidad. Fideos y papas, pollo… los resto para reservar no tenía lugar y solo se podía hacer 2 reservas. No vayan. Es la tercera vez que iba. Este año noté muchísimo la diferencia.

Accoglienza non all’altezza, prima notte camera molto squallida e cambiata per presenza di insetti nel letto la seconda sera, servizio pulizia camere lascia molto a desiderare, approccio con il cliente molto scarso e sembra facciano un favore loro a noi ad accoglierci, servizio bar ambienti sporchi e molto maleodoranti, servizio ristorazione: cibo veramente molto male, pulizia pessima, i tovaglioli un optional! Delusione, non tornerei più qua. Animazione… non era nei miei interessi principali, ma peggiorata rispetto agli anni 1998 primi 2000. Assistenza Booking inesistente . Mi dispiace e’ la prima volta che faccio una recensione negativa, ma per la consistenza del viaggio mi sembra giusta!

La limpieza y atención muy escasas. Poca explicación de usos y eventos del hotel. Solo interesa ofrecer y que compres el tiempo compartido si no aceptas el trato cambia. Nunca había toallas para playa o pileta, yo use las personales que lleve. La limpieza de la habitación fue nula. Y la atención a los reclamos mala. Las reservas para los restorán nos las cancelaron en dos oportunidades y no avisaron. Tuvimos que exigir que nos dejen cenar que no sea en el buffet

Un magnifique bungalow dans un cadre magnifique. Tout le personnel est très agréable et réactif. Tout est très bien organisé, bien que tous les hébergements soient occupés, aucune difficulté pour allez manger ou trouver un transat sur la plage. Vacances de rêve

Comme toujours, les clients qui se croient seuls, qui discutent devant votre porte à 2h du matin ou à 7h.

El lugar, la playa y las instalaciones. La unica persona que te atiende bien es Yonilka que es la chica que esta en la barra cercana a la playa. Es la mejor barman del lugar.

Primero llegamos y nos atendieron mal en la recepción con mala predisposición. Despues cuando nos dieron la habitacion estaba llena de abejas muertas, pedimos que nos limpien la habitacion y nunca vinieron. Fuimos por cinco noches y no pudimos comer nunca en un restaurant porque estaban todos reservados y pasabas por los mismos y estaban vacios pero no te dejaban sentarte a comer. Las gaseosas ninguna tenia gas y el personal mal predispuesto y te atendian a desgano. Te persiguen por todos lados para hacerte unas charlas para que te hagas socio del hotel. Cuando queriamos cambiar las toallas de la pileta nunca estaban disponibles. El agua para ducharte no salia caliente y te quedabas sin agua mientras te bañabas.

Customer experience is not the priority - staff is not trainee to be polite or to solve problems, many facilities are old and not decent for example gym. Food was not good. Price and star rating is very high compared to the experience offered.

Todo genial. Me sorprende que tenga una calificación de 7, con lo bien esta. Menos mal que no me guíe por comentarios malos. Se ve que hay gente que va a quejarse mas que a disfrutar.

La infraestructura, sus jardines , decoración, piletas son excelentes. Agrego la pileta infinita de agua salada que es fantástica.

Había leído respecto a la poca amabilidad del personal sobretodo de recepción y pude comprobarlo personalmente, tema hablado con otros huéspedes opinando igual. Parece que no tienen ganas de atender !! Pedis por favor,regalas sonrisas y no logras que se inmuten!! Estuve 8 días con la peor vista del complejo y no me cambiaron ( pasto y a 3 m un cerco , daba a cancha de paddel, no veía nada!!!!!) La comida con poca variedad y reiterativa. Los frigobar los mantienen vacíos cosa que me extrañó en un all inclusive!!!!!! Un cambio de protocolo en relación a atención al huésped es fundamental.!!!!!

El aire acondicionado de la habitación no daba abasto y no se podía dormir del calor. El sistema de reservas de restaurantes es muy malo. No se encuentran turnos para el restaurante y hirario que uno quiere, pero después los ves vacíos. Poco personal atendiendo en los bares y se tarda mucho en pedir un trago (y eso que fue en temporada baja)

Playa excepcional. Animación con muy buena onda.

Con mucha lluvia, los lugares comunes son escasos, se llueven y se inundan. Hay que trabajar un poco más en ese sentido.

Nike verouderde duur was stuk, je kon je eigen airco temperatuur regelen. Voor twee bedden betaald alleen een gekregen. Geklaag hele gedoe om de juiste te krijgen terwijl je wel voor betaald heb!

La pulizia sia delle stanze che dei servizi in comune ma soprattutto delle stoviglie. Per i pasti pranzo e cena se vai verso metà dell'orario di servizio quindi le 14:00 per il pranzo e le 21:00 per la cena trovi tavoli non apparecchiati e pieni di stoviglie sporche del cliente precedente. Molto complicato farsi riapparecchiare la tavola perché sono finiti i bicchieri di vetro puliti, tovaglioli puliti, piatti ecc ecc

Cibo pessimo ci siamo sentiti tutti male. Blatte in stanza e lenzuola sporche e personale davvero svogliato.

The Entertainment Team is on FIREEEEE!!!! Had so much fun in this Resort, danced all day long and the Viva Vibe is just fabulous. The sea is turquiose and very nice as well. The waiter „Bienvenido“ at the Main Restaurants in very kind and takes care of the guests very well. He always asks if you want something, and often also sees what you need, like a spoon, Glass or something and brings it to you.

Unfurtunately the Price-Performance is very Bad. It‘s the third time we have been to this Resort, and every time the Price goes up, and the Performance goes down. Herr some things that NEED to be chanced, in order to offer a more comfortable stay and a Performance that matches the Price: - way less sunbeds on the Beach, the sunbeds wäre so close to each other, that you could barely pass by, to go into the sea or to take a Drink - towels need to be changed the hole day, not just fron 12am - 6pm. There were a lot of people asking to have a fresh towel in the Morning, but the lifeguard was not allowed to give them to us - the food could have a better quality, be cooked in a better way and also diversify more. After a week I was already bored of everything - staff could care more about the guest and maybe smile sometimes? Some really didn‘t feel like working - the dishes were dirty, there were some people in the restaurant, which brought something to clean them, before they ate - at the bar, after the teater, there was a really long tail of people waiting to get something to drink, that must go quicker, because nobody should have to wait 30min to get something do Drink, especially with the Price you pay - the shower at the Beach was not working for 3 days, then my mom told them and they fixed it. After 2 days it was not working again. This should no happen. You should get it fixed without a guest telling you it is not working. By the way, this is not the only thing that should be fixed because it is not working. - there should be someone who takes the things away fein the tables outside, near the Main Restaurant and cleanes them properly. - after lunch the music could be a Little quiter so people can rest without having to leave the sunbed, but this one is just personal preference ….

The location is wonderful, the beach is amazing with a lot of natural shades due to many palm-trees, which are not too tall, therefore provide enough shade throughout the whole beach. The staff is constantly cleaning the beach and sand, and if people would care to clean after themselves, just to put their cups in the proper designated area, that would help a lot and make the beach even cleaner. The food is good with so much variety. Every day of the week is dedicated to a different theme in food, and maybe it can repeat itself in a week, but... it's still impressive and attention of cooks also impresses. The dessert section (especially during the lunch and dinner time) deserves a special WOW!

The only negative things are .... cockroaches here and there; and loud music, especially in the evening. You really can't sleep until midnight, especially if you live in ocean-fron bungalows. It's understandable that some people come here to relax and have fun, including dancing and being loud. But there is another category of visitors, who want peace and feeling quiet, to be near the sea, enjoying the vacation. So, it could make sense to rethink the location of the evening dance parties, so it would be more convenient for everyone.

Just back after 10 days. LOVED IT! check in took 2 min, spoke perfect English as we are Canadian.Beautiful grounds, easy beach w-no seaweed on sand, soundproof room was in new 5 floor building w-elevator, housekeeping was excellent.We enjoyed food, buffet, snack bar, a la cartes..no issues at all. All food areas have self service for coffee, pop, water, juices(no waiting for morning coffee!)Lots of good size glasses avail. Grounds were spotless. beach towels changed on request. No annoying room card, there is a chip inside your arm bracelet..so easy! Pools cleaned 9am daily. The Dominicus village is just outside the gates, well worth the visit, prices are great or just go for walk! Negative could be no golf carts ..you walk from one end of resort to the other. Also room frig is for water only, no pop cans to save recycling. No resort is perfect but for us, VIVA was great, we will be back.

I m a repeater 8 times love this hotel, the food is mutch better now

Was not impressed. The food in the buffet sat out for a very long time. Be careful. If you are to go eat at the restaurants, not the buffet. At least you know your food is cooked fresh. The drinks absolutely suck. bring your own drinking mug. And I recommend going out side the gate and buying liquor from the small shops to add to your drink as the alcohol is cut.

Online Review: Worst Hotel Experience Ever Our stay at this hotel was truly the worst we have ever experienced. It was an overpriced disaster filled with terrible rooms, poor food, rude service, and even food poisoning. The Room While advertised as a quiet room, music blared until midnight and started again at 10 a.m. Reception staff accused us of lying when we reported issues. The room was poorly maintained: Discolored sheets. Flickering lights. Low water pressure. A noisy fridge. Gaps in the door that let in noise. The Food We got food poisoning from the Mexican restaurant, ruining two days of our four-day holiday. The overall quality was appalling: Dirty food areas with food left on the floor. Unclean plastic cups with leftover cocktail smells. Low-quality alcohol, with $8 charged for a local beer. Restaurants were impossible to book, yet sat empty when we arrived. The worst was the Atlantis restaurant, which epitomized poor food quality. The Service Front-of-house staff were dismissive, rude, and inattentive. Two specific incidents stand out: While watching the sunset on rocks, we were told to move for no reason. Swimming in the sea, we were shouted at and humiliated without explanation. Both moments ruined otherwise special experiences. Other issues: A plate of food was left outside our room for 24 hours, despite numerous staff passing by. Loud music played everywhere from early morning until late at night. The tennis area had no rackets or information about them. Cleaning staff were the only exception, being kind and attentive. Sickness and Hotel’s Response The food poisoning happened on Thursday night. Their reaction was appalling: They initially denied it was their fault, claiming we weren’t used to local food—even though we had eaten street food across the Dominican Republic without issue. The on-site medical center refused to acknowledge food poisoning and offered no real help.

This review reflects a deeply disappointing experience at Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach. Upon arrival, we were not provided with a resort map, making navigation through the vast complex extremely challenging and leading to frequent disorientation. Our initial excitement at being assigned a villa quickly dissipated. For four out of the five days of our stay, we endured unbearable heat due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. Instead of a proper repair, the resort merely refilled the freon, which provided only a temporary and insufficient solution. The constant noise from construction – tile cutting, jackhammering, and leaf blowing – further exacerbated our discomfort. The ongoing septic system work resulted in unbearable odors, forcing us to resort to blocking drains to minimize the stench. The villa itself was poorly maintained. Shower drains clogged repeatedly, leading to flooding in the room. Despite multiple requests, these issues remained unresolved. The quality of the food was consistently subpar, with limited and repetitive options. The only noticeable change to the dining experience was the display of different country flags. The resort's response to our concerns was utterly inadequate. Requests to change rooms due to the unbearable heat, noise, and odor were met with indifference, and in one instance, with laughter from a front desk staff member. Furthermore, we were not informed that the villa would not be stocked with beverages. Guests were expected to fill a provided glass bottle with water, with no access to soft drinks, coffee, or bottled water. This lack of transparency was a significant inconvenience. The resort's aggressive timeshare sales tactics were particularly off-putting. Timeshare representatives were persistent and dismissive of our "no" responses, constantly pressuring us to attend breakfast meetings. The overall service was poor, with front desk staff exhibiting rudeness and impatience when addressing guest inquiries. Recommendation: I strongly advise against staying in Villa #1428 and urge potential guests to exercise extreme caution when considering a stay at Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach. I hope this is helpful! Rooms were run down. Not many options for food. Unable to get bottled water anywhere but your room. Towels ran out quickly. Stray cats roaming around the hotel. Huge cockroach in the room. No stocked mini fridge. Not enough chairs on the beach or by the pool area. No wash clothes in the rooms.

Food excellent. Room very confortable. Very nice staff but too many people to have good client service for specific requests ( for exemple if something in the room does not work).

The views were amazing. The resort itself was nice.

1. Had to ask for washcloths multiple times. Apparently, that's not a normal thing in your country. 2. Hard time getting reservations and when we did we noticed the restaurants were half full but when you click on them they all say nothing available. You should have the option to select a time and not just be booked at 645 each time. 3. Employees barely spoke English. Couldn't answer some basic questions like "can we get a washcloth" if you're going to have an all inclusive resort and say that English is spoken there, then you should have staff that can speak it 4. The timeshare folks are very pushy. 5. The outside vendors are almost borderline harassing

1. Beach towels- not enough drop off- pick up Locations- your lugging wet towels around. The close too early so when you finally find one it’s closed. 2. The juice bar and crepe stand need more personal. Waiting 30 mins online is way too much 3. The evening show needs more $$. The dancers are obviously tired from working at other events throughout the day.

Hours taken for checkin, room did not match the bookings.com description or photos. Despite cancelling after arriving, I was charged 2 days when policy is 1 day for cancelling. Refund still not processed. Customer service do not respond. Also was spruked aggresively to join their membership which I really did not appreciate. There are much better alternatives for the same price. We went to Riu, same price and it was 10× better in every way.

Already on the second day we found a large cockroach on the floor, which we had to kill as there was a risk that it would disappear among our things. The next day, during the night, another cockroach entered our bed under the covers and also bit us. Unacceptable for a resort of this cost. For the rest, very crowded resort, clean beach but cloudy and immediately deep water

The worst costumer service ever. We paid extra for an anniversary package that we never received. It has been a month and they haven’t received a response to our emails or our money back.

Sixth vacation at this resort. They tend to put us in better rooms. Beach is the best with fluffy white sand that does not get overly hot. Gradual drop off in ocean with mostly soft sand bottom. Food is reliably good, better than expected at three star resort. Excellent pizza. We come to this side of DR for the SCUBA diving. The reef is as nice most in Mexico and Honduras. We use Sharkys dive shop in Bayahibe, known for bespoke service. Be aware this resort caters mainly to Europeans, particularly Italians and Germans. There is smoking everywhere. Guests tend not to queue up like most overly polite Canadians. Great value if you wait on cheap packages from WestJet or Sunwing.

The resort is so beautiful, room is comfortable, you will get a great opportunity to relax and enjoy this gorgeous beach. Many pools to enjoy also.

Buffet needs to improve its variety, and adapt to all types of guests. Gluten-free, more seafood or even lactose free etc. Hotel restaurant reservation App needs improving too. Also, staff is sometimes unaware of everything around them.
