La villa que nous avons eu, sentait la moisissure et le canapé etait très sale et abimé, nous logions du coté parc, il fallait traverser la rue principale pour accéder au resort et restaurant

Le confort des chambres et des espaces collectifs, la piscine privée dans la villa, l’amabilité du personnel, la décoration de l’hôtel. Gili asahan on y va pour se reposer car il n’y a pas grand chose à faire. Pour autant on ne s’est pas ennuyé grâce au personnel et aux activités proposées. Et le restaurant de l’hôtel, juste INCROYABLE!!! Je recommande fortement !

Eine wunderschöne Anlage auf Gili Asahan mit hervorragendem Frühstück, sehr nettem Personal und einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Schnorchelmasken, Kayaks und Stand-Up Paddle-Boards kann man sich jederzeit umsonst ausleihen. Am Strand direkt vor der Anlage kann man in eines der vielen kleinen Boote steigen und die benachbarten Inseln erkunden. Einfach wunderbar!

Magnifique resort fleurie avec une magnifique piscine vue mer. L’esprit typique du resort est très apprécié. Le bungalow est génial avec la douche extérieur et la petite terrasse privative on se sent comme dans un cocon. L’emplacement est rêvée. Ils prêtent gratuitement du matériel et des kayaks pour rejoindre l’île en face.

Il manquait un sèche cheveux, et malheureusement (sans lien avec l’hôtel) mais les coqs qui chantent toute la nuit peut être assez dérangeant.

Rooms were nice and roomy, staff were kind.

Unfortunately hotel is surrounded by locals with roosters that are up at 3:30, followed by call to prayer at 5, then more roosters so did not get a good nights sleep while we were there. Pool was ok, beach is full of bleached coral and nothing can be seen snorkelling in immediate vicinity. Service is lacking not once did anyone bring a menu or offer to take a drink order at the pool. If you want anything other than black coffee at breakfast you have to pay extra. Overall wasn’t worth what we paid and it’s a hassle to get to.

I stayed here for three days to celebrate my birthday, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They organised my pick-up from the airport to the port in Lombok, and from there a small boat came to pick me up. In less than five minutes, I had arrived at the resort. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. You can also use the kayaks and SUP boards for free during the day, so I went exploring some of the other Gilis nearby, which are only around 15 minutes away. On my birthday, the staff surprised me with a birthday cake, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. 🥹🎂 The hotel next door also offers yoga classes every day at 8am and 5pm, and the teacher is incredibly kind. I absolutely loved my stay here and would really recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape. 🤍

Beautiful bungalow on a beautiful island. The staff were friendly and welcoming;they helped organise a private morning snorkelling excursion, the restaurant food delicious and the room thoughtfully decorated.

We’d paid extra to upgrade to a beach front villa but actually it was behind the pool-still a beautiful property but not necessary to upgrade.

Das Zimmer hat bei der Unterkunft etwas komisch gerochen (nach Klostein) Viele Hähne, die gerne auch in der Nacht Krähen. Dafür kann die Unterkunft allerdings nicht und lässt sich auf der ganzen Insel nicht vermeiden.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. I usually do not write reviews like this, but in this case I feel it is important to share our experience. First of all, calling this a **“Luxury Resort” is completely misleading**. Based on our experience, there was absolutely nothing luxurious about our stay. We booked a two-night stay, but on our first night we found three cockroaches in the room. We immediately reported it to reception, and the room was cleaned. During the cleaning, the staff also found that the area underneath the bed was dirty. The following morning, we found three more cockroaches in the room. At that point, we were extremely disgusted and uncomfortable and decided to leave the hotel. We did not even feel comfortable having breakfast there after what we had experienced. On a positive note, **the staff were initially very kind, polite and helpful** when we reported the problem. We appreciated their attitude at the time. However, unfortunately, the situation changed completely afterwards. We requested a refund for the unused second night, which the hotel **agreed to provide** that day with a peaceful conversation in good terms. We gave them our IBAN details and left on good terms, trusting their word. Despite repeatedly contacting them since July 27, including on July 30, August 9, 11, 16 and 17, we have still not received the refund. Even worse, **they now do not even bother to respond to our messages** regarding a refund that they themselves promised. This is extremely disappointing. A hotel should not only provide acceptable hygiene standards, but also **stand by its word and honour its commitments**. Unfortunately, in this case, we feel that the hotel has not kept its word. Overall, a very poor experience. The initial kindness of the staff was appreciated, but the hygiene issues and the failure to honour the promised refund completely overshadowed the positive aspects. **We would not recommend this property.**

La unica queja que podria tener es que los zumos del desayuno estan un poco aguados.

Magnifique hôtel sur une plage merveilleuse, très bien situé à proximité du village avec ses habitants et des restaurants des autres hôtels. Piscine très pratique et ouverte jusqu’à très tard le soir, canoë kayak et paddle gratuits pour découvrir les autres îles, petit déjeuner excellent. Vous pourrez vous baigner toute la journée malgré la marée basse, ce qui n’est pas le cas partout. Le personnel a le cœur sur la main. Nous espérons y revenir mais y rester plus longtemps😍

Le fait de devoir partir, nous y resterions bien toute la vie.

It’s good to know that behind the houses there are chickens and roosters so they are crowing around 4 AM and continuing until 6:30-7:00.

Les draps troués, l’équipement de la salle de bains (produits, serviettes etc.) , l’équipement de la chambre. L’établissement a besoin d’un gros rafraîchissement. La qualité du restaurant. Après le premier repas, nous avons pris tous nos repas au restaurant Italien de l’eco lodge voisin qui pour le coup est vraiment top ! Petit déjeuner moyen .

Resort accogliente e intimo, pulizia ottima e personale eccezionale. Ristorante molto buono. La colazione era a la carte. A fianco c'era un paesino con tante persone piacevoli e sorridenti. Abbiamo comprato da loro acqua e snack, avevano piccoli negozietti in cui vendevano un po' di tutto, nel caso si sia dimenticato qualcosa. L'isola era condivisa con animali che pascolavano liberamente. A piedi si arriva liberamente in tutte le spiagge per godere di tutta la bellezza dell'isola.

Wir haben als 4-köpfige Familie drei wunderschöne Nächte im Amahelia Resort verbracht. Die Lage unserer Unterkunft "Ratu" (eigener Pool mit zwei Zimmern) war im hinteren Bereich der Hotelanlage gelegen. Man hat sehr viel Privatsphäre und Sonnenschein am Pool. Alles ist war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal im allgemeinen und speziell die Restaurantmitarbeiter/innen inkl. dem Hotelmanager waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Hotel Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut. Gilli Asahan ist wirklich eine Reise wert. Traumhafte Strände, abwechslungsreiche Aktivitäten und kein Verkehr. Wer vorher auf Bali unterwegs war und dem hektischen und lärmigen Treiben entfliehen will, dem können wir den Insel wärmstens empfehlen.

In unserem Bungalow hatte es eine Maus. Wir bekamen dann aber ohne Probleme ein anderes Bungalow. Sie haben sich sehr um einen schnelle und gute Lösung gekümmert.

Estuvimos 4 noches alojados y todo fue estupendo. Se respiraba mucha paz en toda la isla. Poder acostarnos viendo el cielo lleno de estrellas y despertarnos con el sonido de los pájaros es una maravilla. Puedes acercarte a Gili goleng a ver el coral o hacer alguna excursión que merece la pena. El restaurante nos gustó mucho, la comida estaba muy rica y tenía muy buena presentación. Y para el desayuno tenían varias opciones a elegir. El personal súper amable.

Ofrecen canoas y paddle surf pero no funcionan muy bien. Le faltaba la quilla y había remos rotos.

There’s no kettle in the room because of solar power but if you’re an early riser and need a cuppa there was generally someone around early morning to give you hot water. The restaurant menu was expensive comparatively and could be condensed and refined.

La cuisine est INCROYABLE! Première fois qu’on mange aussi bien dans un hôtel depuis notre arrivée en Indonésie. Tout le monde a été très accueillant, le lieu est incroyable, la chambre confortable. C’était le top!

Exceptionally beautiful place to stay-right on the beach with a stunning pool and direct ocean access. Delicious Indonesian food prepared by talented chefs. Other food options were great too, especially the burger. Staff were incredible-kind, helpful and always warmly attending to guests needs.

A brilliant place to stay, just a couple of suggestions to make it even better- a kettle in the room for tea/coffee and a mirror in the room would be helpful.

We loved the peace and tranquility of both the resort and Gili Asahan itself. One of the things we appreciated most was the complimentary boat transfer from and back to Pantai Kores, which made getting to the island very easy and convenient. The breakfasts were excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Hendra, who helped arrange our transfer to Kuta and was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

This is not related to the hotel itself, but the only downside was that we found quite a lot of trash on some of the beaches during our visit, which made snorkeling less enjoyable. Also, if you are visiting because of videos showing horses on the beach, keep in mind that they belong to a specific resort and are part of a paid experience, not something you will typically see around the island.

Magnifique resort, avec un personnel très serviable et sympathique. La chambre est très jolie, avec une terrasse idéale pour se poser tranquillement. La cuisine est vraiment très bonne, avec de jolis plats. Je recommande les gnocchis au potiron et aux épinards, un délice, ainsi que la salade César, très bien exécutée. Côté cocktails, la piña colada est également excellente ! Les extérieurs sont très bien entretenus, avec une belle piscine. On s’y sent vraiment bien.

Mi è piaciuto soprattutto il fatto che la struttura fosse perfettamente integrata con l’ambiente circostante, così come le altre strutture presenti. Spero che rimanga tutto così per non intaccare il fascino autentico di Gili Asahan. Siamo stati davvero bene.

Good location closest to the transfer point from Lombok island. Lovely pool beach facing with comfortable sun beds overlooking the sea. Excellent food with many unique local Indonesian food dishes. Extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful dining areas and chill spaces. Super cute and friendly resident kitty cats. Definitely would stay again.

Rooms could have a little more lighting.

We chose Amahelia online because it had a pool and also the Raja villa with the plunge pool. Also loved the massage option of being available beach front or in our villa. The best massage I have had on this Indonesian holiday was with Sree at Amahelia !!! All the staff were fabulous too and very accommodating to our every need.

Nothing we didn’t like…. But would have liked a jug in our room to make an early cup of tea Also I think it would be great to have yoga classes.

In my travels through Thailand, Bali and Lombok I have never experienced clearer water and better fish and coral snorkeling other than, perhaps, some of the Thai marine reserves (which have no accommodation). Having a pool as well (only one other resort on the island has a pool) is one of the reasons that are entitled to having luxury in their name. Other reasons include the food and staff.

Asimismo, el restaurante del alojamiento merece una mención especial: la comida es excelente y lo recomendamos totalmente para almorzar o cenar. Otro de sus grandes atractivos es su magnífica ubicación, rodeada de numerosos restaurantes y opciones de ocio. El establecimiento también ofrece equipamiento gratuito como kayaks y máscaras de snorkel, lo que convierte la estancia en una experiencia aún más completa y memorable. La piscina frente al mar es simplemente espectacular, un lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. En conjunto, se trata de uno de los mejores alojamientos en los que hemos tenido la oportunidad de hospedarnos. La combinación de instalaciones de primer nivel, servicios excelentes y un equipo humano extraordinario hacen que sea un lugar totalmente recomendable al que nos encantaría volver.

Incroyable séjour dans cet hôtel au bord de la mer , le personnel était aux petits soins , un grand merci à Toni, Andy,Amir ... Et les cuisiniers, on s'est régalés :) N'hésitez pas à faire l'excursion snorkling, ça vaut vraiment le coup .

Mooi kleinschalig resort, leuke huisjes, gezellig opgezet, aan het strand, met zwembad. Heel leuk personeel, die je allemaal bij naam kennen en die altijd voor je klaarstaan.

Facciamo un pò di chiarezza su Luxury resort. Il lusso è 1 altra cosa!. Luci e ombre!!! Le luci sono, buona posizione sull'isola, ottima pulizia generale, ottima manutenzione della struttura, buone rufuniture, buona piscina, gentilezza del personale. Ombre: nn c'è cassaforte o bollitore acqua in camera, la battigia del mare come la spiaggia sono con molta plastica, e poca pulizia, i cuscini dei lettini è 1 pezzo che nn vedono 1 lavatrice, il desk nn pubblicizza nessuna escursione, e la cosa più negativa è il costo. La nostra camera costava circa €100 al dì con colazione, che In indonesia è 1 stipendio medio, quindi come se in Europa paghereste € 1500 al dì x 1 camera, che posto di lusso dovrebbe mai essere? fate le proporzioni. Bene qui a colazione si poteva scegliere 1 solo piatto su 8, 1 sola succi, un solo caffè o tè. Un caffè extra? lo paghi. Ristorante molta influenza francese nei piatti, anche buoni, ma francese...... Come?....pago 1 stipendio indonesiano al gg e questa è l'offerta? x fare snorkel dalla spiaggia in mezzo alla plastica? O fare un bagnetto in piscina? E nn crediate che gli altri resort limitrofi siano megliori come prezzi/offerta anzi. Ho fatto 3 island tour giornalieri, le Secret Gili saranno anche belle ma con un mare di plastica dappertutto!!! Tolles Bungalow Resort zum ausspannen. Absolut ruhig und toll gelegen. Sehr hübsche Bungalows in toller Natur. Hübscher Pool mit bequemen Liegen, sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal und insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Lage schön direkt am Meer, allerdings viele Boote am Strand.

Die Stühle im Restaurant sind unbequem und könnten Auflagen gebrauchen, aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau - zum a la Carte Frühstück ausreichend und alles gut!

Just beautiful. Gili Asahan is stunning but sadly rubbish can get brought onto the beach on the tide so it was such a treat to have a pool to lay beside and swim in. Perfect place for relaxation. The rooms were huge and clean. Staff were very friendly, communication about the free boat shuttle was great. The food wasn't cheap but it was tasty and the cocktails were great. A happy hour would have been an added bonus!
