The room is very comfortable clean and big. The staff are very accommodating and approachable. I would like to recommend this place for you book now Retreat siargao. So beautiful and relaxing. Very quite place.

A little bit concerned about the water bidet from the bathroom. Its Smell bad something old tree from the sea.

Absolutely incredible service from all the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and lovely. The accommodation was perfect—far enough away from the centre to feel peaceful, but still close enough to everything. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone!

El personal excelente, muy atento y amoroso. Nos recibieron bárbaro. Nos ayudaron a contratar un mini bus que nos pasó a buscar para ir al aeropuerto. La habitación y las instalaciones perfectas.

Quizás la ubicación está un poco lejos del centro de Siargao, General Luna, a nosotros nos vino muy bien porque necesitábamos estar más “cerca” del aeropuerto al día siguiente.

Las habitaciones estuvieron muy grandes y cómodas, AC funcionando muy bien, tenía máquina de café y minirrefrigeradora , wifi funcionaba bien

la carta del restaurante es muy limitaday los horarios de atencion tambien muy especificos, pero creo que para un dia que no se pueda salir esta bien.

La amabilidad del personal es lo mejor del resort. En cuanto llegas te hacen sentir como en casa. Es muy tranquilo, con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones inmersos en el espíritu filipino. Las vistas al mar, las habitaciones amplias y silenciosas. Nos ayudaron con el alquiler de las motos para recorrer la isla, con la reserva de las excursiones, estando pendiente de cualquier cosa que necesitásemos. Room was big. Very accommodating staff specially Aya and Joanna. Fresh coconut upon check in and fruits in the room. White beach.

There was wedding next door with a load sound system. Aya and Joanna changed our room away from the event. Music was only till 10pm. Overall a peaceful. The frog noise on previous reviews were I believe to be Cicadas or so. Nature sounds.

Het hotel is supermooi en ligt op een rustige locatie , de kamers zijn heel erg ruim waardoor het meer op een appartement lijkt.

Doordat het hotel meer een rustoord is ligt het wat verder van het uitgaansleven ,niks is op loopafstand. Het restaurant heeft vriendelijke bediening en je krijgt veel aperitiefjes gratis. Daarentegen moet je wel vrij lang wachten op je bestelde eten.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The place itself was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The beach was very clean and felt almost private, which we really enjoyed. Everything looked exactly as pictured and advertised online. The food was also really good with a nice variety of options, including breakfast choices. We especially appreciated that they allowed us to preorder meals on days when we had to leave early for tours. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as well.

Some of the furniture looked a bit old and could use updating. The bed frame also stuck out farther than the mattress, and we kept accidentally bumping into the corners. They do have staff regularly cleaning up after the dogs around the property, but because the resort is quite large, they occasionally miss some spots. Unfortunately, we encountered dog poop near the restaurant steps during our stay.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Siargao. Das Hotel liegt etwas ab von Party Geschehen was wir sehr geschätzt haben. in 5 min bist du mit dem Roller in General Luna. Die Zimmer waren sehr gross und gut klimatisiert. (2 Geräte). Alles war sauber und gepflegt. In der Nacht ist es etwas laut da sehr viele Frösche singen. dafür kann aber das Resort nichts. Wir wurden vom Besitzer am ersten Abend sogar zu einem sehr leckeren korianischem 9 Gänge Menü eingelanden was sehr lecker war :) vielen Dank für alles und wir kommen gerne wieder.

War alles super, ausser der Lärm von den Fröschen wobei das Hotel da nichts dafür kann. Würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

The peaceful location outside of General Luna was a nice respite. The ocean view from our room was lovely, and the grounds were pretty. The pool was very relaxing and warm and hanging by the beach in the afternoons was really special. The employees were really friendly and helpful, especially Nico!

The restaurant took a very long time and the food was not high quality, but there are plenty of restaurants in town a quick scooter ride away.

Lovely spacious room…. Really quiet and peaceful. The staff were amazing! And a big thank you to the manager for the lovely 7 course Korean feast… a lovely experience.

Huge room consisting of a large bedroom and another living space, large fridge. Comfortable beds. Hot showers. Nice big warm pool. Beach in front very swimmable. Property itself is not densely packed and feels like nobody is around most of the time. Away from the craziness of town but just a 10 min scooter ride.

Pool needs more loungers/umbrellas and less tables. Beach needs hammocks and more loungers as well as proper steps to beach

Das Meer und die Anlange. Es ist wirklich eine sehr sehr schöne Anlage und der Pool ist auch Top sowie auch das Frühstück.

Abends ab 18 Uhr ca sind die Frösche sehr laut und das die ganze Nacht. Es ist sehr laut und tut teilweise schon in den Ohren weh. Und im Essbereich sind einige Katzen und Hunde. Dementsprechend sind überall Haare. Und außer dem Frühstück sind die Mahlzeiten nicht zu empfehlen. Und wir hatten noch eine Maus im Zimmer. Zimmer Wechsel lief dann aber super .

Een fantastische plek, natuurlijk kan er altijd iets beter. Maar dan moet je je best doen om iets te vinden. De kamers zijn ongelooflijk groot en hebben een prachtig uitzicht op de zee en zwembad. Het eten is goed en het personeel nog beter. Overal een super week op het resort gehad.

Amazing chill place to stay

This room Is really good, a beautiful open space with a really great taste in furniture. It Is a bit far from the main town and It Is hard to find transport in Siargao, but if you rent a car won't be a problem, few minutes driving from anything interesting. It Is a bit expensive, but the quality matches It.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. ​Wichtiger Hinweis: Die Zimmer im Obergeschoss sind nur über Treppen zugänglich – sollte man bei Mobilitätseinschränkungen bei der Buchung berücksichtigen.

The breakfast was excellent!!! Loved the staff's service and always with a nice smile. Very respectful and willing to help all the time. We are extremely happy with this resort.

The sink's faucet did not have an aerator and water splashed around the sink. Did not get hot water most of the time we were there. The toilet seat was lose.

Location is great if you like a quiet environment. However, it takes less than 10 minutes by motorbike to General Luna. Staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly.

They serve Korean food with limited choice. No buffet breakfast, one can order just one dish per person. Limited choice, too. Furniture of rooms looks outdated. Given the price of the room, I would not return

It was a lovely apartment, spacious with a separate lounge area and included Netflix. There was a large water cooler that had an instant hot water option as well as cold and room temp. It had a lot of windows which meant a lot of natural light, and the view was nice looking out at the pool with the beach beyond. Lots of lighting options which, once you learn the switches, are quite useful. The food options were good and the food we did order was tasty (included breakfast and room service). The staff are friendly and helpful, there was one particular lady with light brown contact lenses (sorry I didn't catch her name!) who was amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The gentleman at the front desk was also helpful.

You can't pay by card here, which was unfortunate for us as it was our last stop in the Philippines and we didn't want to get more cash out. We did manage to transfer money via Wise/GCash. We were two friends and had the option of one queen bed and one single bed. The queen bed was comfy but the single was too firm. We were hoping for a late check-out as we had a late flight and were unfortunately unwell/injured so weren't able to do much more adventuring, but this was not an option even after offering to pay more. We understand the resort was fully booked that night. We were allowed use of the pool, but there is only an outdoor shower so we we were only somewhat clean for our flight home. The pool was nice but the chairs/lounges aren't the most comfortable and the decking around the pool needs to be redone. I unfortunately stood on one of the stones that are embedded in the grounds at the resort and rolled my foot on my second-last day so be careful when walking around. There were also a few frogs/toads and hermit crabs on the grass at night!

I chose this hotel for my girlfriends birthday and couldn’t have made a better choice. They went above and beyond to make sure she had the best surprise!! Thank you guys for all you did! Furthermore the rooms are very spacious and clean, the property itself is beautiful and the view of the sea is stunning. Will definitely come back

Excellent location and view. Staff were excellent, especially Sam and Nikko were very friendly. Owner was also friendly and hospitable. Huge rooms, all with an ocean view. The food at the restaurant was very good as well.

You could tell that the hotel was a bit older but fairly well maintained. The views and staff made up for it.

We loved everything about Retreat Siargao. It’s in a quiet area but little stores and laundry services are next door. The resort has nice beachfront where we watch the sunrise every morning. Our favourite spot was a pergola with table and chairs that are arranged and cleaned regularly by the beach. We’ve watched sunrises, boats, petted some dogs and had our morning coffee in there. At night time, a mosquito repellent coil is placed on the table for the guests to use which I think is very thoughtful and you’ll fall asleep listening to the crickets and croaking frogs instead of the traffics. Tuktuk can be ordered at the reception and comes within 5 mins to take you to the main town which takes 10mins. We’re family of 4 and booked two rooms. The rooms are spacious complete with coffee maker, filtered water, quality towels and toiletries. We celebrated our son’s 17th birthday at the resort and Jason, the resort owner, had Japchae dish, a celebratory food that symbolises longevity, prepared for us. Everyone in the resort was so lovely, helpful and polite. We’ll be coming back for sure.

The spacious rooms (60m2) with plenty of windows to give lots of natural light. The large sized swimming pool, meaning it never felt crowded and accommodated lap swimming. The open-planned restaurant providing ample space for dinners and giving views across the grounds to the water. The location with quiet surroundings, away from the madness and noise of General Luna (but only a short moped ride away). The well-kept and extensive grounds that fronted directly onto the beach.

It’s not a dislike, more of a comment. Given the close proximity of the water and the distance from Cloud 9, it would be great if the resort kept some paddle boards available for the guests use.

The resort is well maintained (rooms, pool and the beach front). Our room accommodation size was like a small apartment. The owner operator is a gracious host. The resort staff were very friendly and willing to assist with all our requests. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the island.

It's not really a dislike, but I recommend that there be a happy hour in the afternoons in the spacious recreational dining & bar area. It would provide an opportunity to meet other hotel guests.

The resort is in a great location. Approximately 40 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown General Luna. We loved how we were greeted with fresh buko (coconuts) when we arrived to the resort. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious with a living space and bedroom with two comfortable beds. Our view from our balcony was stunning! We had the garden, pool and ocean view! My most favorite part! Having breakfast at the resort every morning was convenient and delicious. My favorite was the eggplant omelette (torta). We enjoyed our stay at Retreat Sairgao Resort and will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location out of the main hustle and bustle of Siargao , and yet easily accessible by 🛺. Felt welcome from the moment we arrived with Coconuts as a welcome drink , a complimentary bottle of wine in the room with a personal note from the owner Jason. We were then invited to a complimentary 7 course dinner on our first night which was fantastic. Staff couldn’t do enough for us when we needed to request anything. Nikko on the front desk is efficient in everything he does .Complimentary water cooler and heater in the room , free room service at all times with no tray charges and free filter coffee in the room. Room cleaning on request and carried out beautifully and efficiently. The views of the sea from the first floor rooms are spectacular (particularly at sunrise)

The bar and restaurant has so much potential that is being unused . On speaking to the owner Jason (he’s a lovely man who has a cheery smile and always has time for his guests !) he has plans for this and we hope he has every success in the world .

Esta bastante lejos de lo que es el centro, necesitas si o si moto o tuk tuk. Por otro lado, las instalaciones están muy viejas, y lleno de hormigas. Con lo cual calidad precio muy caro. En cuanto al desayuno, escaso y con muy pocas opciones, de hecho en la carta había cereales, con banana y leche, y cuando me lo trajeron era cereales, manzana y leche, sin informar ni nada. Así que mala organización y mal servicio. También insistieron mucho en ofrecer un transfer para ir al aeropuerto sin comentar nosotros nada. La verdad que no es un sitio al que volvería.

The manager of the resort is just awesome! He has the best ever service attitude! He will do anything to keep customers happy! I have travelled a lot and his attitude is really exceptional. Also all the staff is very kind and helpful. Place is quiet and has nice wibes. We felt very safe there. Rooms are huge. Pool area is great for sunbathing. Restaurant is big and food is very tasty.
