La chambre était spacieuse, propre et confortable. Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour se préparer le petit déjeuner, et un charmant coin derrière le bow-window pour le déguster. Nous n'avons pas croisé Sharon mais l'arrivée était très facile avec la boite à clé et elle a toujours été très réactive à nos demandes. La maison est à proximité de la Wicklow way, ce qui a été très pratique pour nous qui randonnions. La supérette et les pubs et restaurants sont tout près.

The decor was bright and fresh. We appreciated the presence of a refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. We were pleased to find blackout quality curtains.

The shower drain was badly blocked and smelled so bad, when my husband tried to fix it, that he didn't care to use it. The base of the shower was dangerously slippery when I used it and discovered that the water wasn't draining properly. Might we suggest a non-slip shower mat to prevent accidents.The cubicle seems to show signs of mould on the grouting. The location next to a busy road wasn't what we expected. Traffic noise started around 5am and we couldn't sleep thereafter. Very little communication before our arrival and the welcome was distinctly hands off.We knew that we wouldn't get breakfast but a slightly more generous supply of provisions (particularly milk) would have been appreciated.

Everything was perfect. Quiet peaceful place with an amazing view. The room is very comfortable and cosy. A piece of paradise!

Grote kamer met keuken. In de keuken waren cereals melk koffie en thee aanwezig. Super leuk zitje in de erker van de kamer. Heerlijk om daar te ontbijten. Ook een lekker zitje in de tuin om in de zon te zitten. Op loopafstand van restaurants en cafés. Heerlijk groot bed. Prachtig uitzicht op de bergen

De badkamer was erg smerig. Naast een vuile buitenkant van de douchecabine was hij van binnen ook niet schoon. Ook hele vieze voegen. Kon wel een chloorbeurtje gebruiken. Maar dat was het enige minpuntje.

Granola, frosties and cows milk for breakfast as well as good coffee and selection of teas, nice for a basic breakfast thank you. The kitchenette contained a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, and coffee machine. There were two plates, two bowls, two dessert spoons and some teaspoons. Water was provided for the kettle. The location was beautiful with a 5 minute walk to the local bus stop for buses to Dublin or locally, and many great hiking and walking routes within walking distance. It was about a 40 minute walk from the accommodation into the heart of Glendalough which we walked a few times.

Arrival information wasn't provided so we had to try to call the host at the gate but she then arranged swift entrance for us. For preparing food the facilities were basic and the kitchen lacked a sink.

Spectacular location for exploring Wicklow/Glendalough, very nice proprietor with a beautiful friendly dog, room is gigantic and included tea/coffee, biscuits, basic breakfast supplies, and a microwave & fridge.

Chambre très jolie aménagée avec un très bon goût, bien agencée, spacieuse. La literie est excellente et propre. Une chambre, une coiffeuse, une petite table pour 2 pour prendre son café, un espace kitchenette mais sans évier (on ne peut pas faire la vaisselle), une salle de bain avec wc. Serviettes et produits de douche fournis. Un restau/pub à 5 min à pied en longeant la route mais accessible en toute sécurité car trottoir (prévoir tout de même une lampe torche car pas éclairé). On peut se garer dans la cour fermée de la maison. L'hôte vous laisse une télécommande pour le portail. Appeler l'hôte par téléphone à votre arrivée car pas de contact ni de consigne préalables reçus.

Bien qu'affiché comme un B&B, ce n'est pas le cas. 130€ c'est le prix d'une nuit d'hôtel en centre-ville pour une chambre et salle de bain très propre et un vrai petit déjeuner complet. Ici les joints de la douche sont moisis (noirs), la barre de douche est tombée en prenant la pomme de douche, de la poussière ici et là sur les meubles de la chambre, les lampes. Côté petit déjeuner, pas de pain, ni de confiture ou beurre. Pas de yaourt. Pas de fruit. Juste des céréales sèches avec une mini brique de lait, du café et du thé (cafetière Nespresso, bouilloire et un micro-onde. Un toaster mais de pain à faire toaster). Des verres étaient sales. L'accueil par l'hôte a été agréable mais un peu expéditif.

Very clean, spacious. Great location, very atmospheric. Great idea to include a Nespresso machine, and milk and water in the fridge.

Heating thermostat not very visible. As others have noted, perhaps include a couple of metal knives and forks and plates. There's a microwave and toaster. So an expectation you might use them. Road noise could be heard in the room when cars or trucks went past.

L'emplacement est sécurisé, calme et facile d'accès, le logement est très joli et bien équipé, et l'accueil très chaleureux. Les grandes fenêtres rendent le logement très lumineux c'est vraiment agréable.

Beautiful views of Wicklow Mountains from the property. Sharon was an incredible and welcoming host. Walking distance to Laragh stores and pubs. Great home base for exploring Glendalough and many unbelievable mountain drives. Clean, secure, cozy room. Comfortable bed, hot shower, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station.

Bei unseren ankunft war niemand zuhause und wir mussten leider warten und Telefonieren. Telefonisch gab es den eingangs Code. Frühstück etwas arm, mit ein paar Brioche und Früchten, Joghurt, Kaffe und Tee.

This accommodation was a little off the beaten track in a beautiful area. The accommodation was very private and easy to access. It was also spotlessly clean and very well appointed. We had a lovely dinner at the pub around the corner.

Het ontbijt was te weinig voor een wandelaar. Er was geen brood, alleen maar wat ingepakte witte koeken. Er was maar 0,5 liter melk voor 2 personen. De tafel om te ontbijten was een kleine ronde tafel wat niet praktisch was. Te weinig plaats om op te ontbijten, tevens stonden de tafelpoten steeds in de weg. Gelukkig haddren we zelf nog brood en beleg bij !

Hele mooie lokatie, met goed bed, magnetron, (stille) koelkast, tv en goede koffiemachine . Modern ingericht, privacy. Goede communicatie. Vriendelijk ontvangst

Ontbijt, als dit goed was geweest had het een 10 gekregen. Maar ontbijt (is voor ons belangrijk) was te weinig. Zeker voor ons wandelaars. 4 in plastic voorverpakte broodjes, geen beleg. Wel jus d'orange, fruit musli e.d. Wel jammer dan weer 2 kleine voorverpakte yoghurtjes

Colazione ricca, ambiente molto confortevole e curato. Ampio parcheggio e vicinissimo a luoghi di interesse.

Non immediato capire come si attiva la doccia (un cordino da tirare prima di farla partire), manca il bidet.

Gute Lage zum Wandern, Parklplatz auf dem Hof, mitten im Grünen, Ausstattung gut.

Leider nur Plastikmesser, das beiliegende Obst für Müsli konnte damit nicht geschnitten werden. Frühstück zum selbst machen, Müsli und Obst und Orangensaft, Milch war sehr knapp, wenn man mehr Milch in den Kaffe machen möchte. Abgepackte süße Teile. Relativ laute Straße .

Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Man hat das B&B nicht so einfach gefunden*das Schild war ein bisschen versteckt). Zum Frühstück gab es kein frisches Brot oder Toast oder Croissant oder Ähnliches.

Bedienung der Dusche war ungewohnt, man musste an einer Schnur am Boiler ziehen. Frühstückt war in der Küchenzeile vorgerichtet, es gab nur abgepacktes süßes Gebäck, keinen Toast oder Brot.

Zalig bed, goeie douche. Prima prijs/kwaliteit! Op wandelafstand (5 min) van het Wicklow Heather restaurant waar we prima hebben gegeten.

Belle chambre dans maison typique, lit moelleux. Bien situé près de Glendalough et du village de Laragh.

L'accueil impersonnel et le petit déjeuner industriel pris seul dans la chambre. Pas de demande si il y a allergie donc je n'ai presque rien déjeuner. Au moins proposer du jambon et du fromage.

Really lovely accommodation and great reception from Sharon. The room is so warm and quiet, great for a weekend trip to relax. It is a walking distance from Glendalough Park and 5min from the main part of Laragh, where you have a coffee shop and a few restaurants. I personally loved the breakfast option being in the room, so me and my friend could have a very relaxed morning, enjoy our breakfast and get ready for a day out in nature. Would highly recommend this amazing spot :)

Very comfortable- and clean, host provided so many useful things. Lovely selection of self service breakfast foods. Fantastic, scenic location for Glendalough and exploring Wicklow mountains.

Felt a little chilly in the evenings. A small fan heater would have been useful.

Sharon was very nice and accommodating. Location was just what we wanted. The room was large, bed was comfortable.

It could use a deep cleaning. The bathroom sink did not drain well. The shower did not drain all the water out so the next person using it should be very careful not to slip.

Fantastic B&B in a very good location near Glendalough; very modern and clean and spacious room and bathroom, comfy bed, good shower. The breakfast was good, with good selection of cereals and granola, Nespresso machine in the room for coffee making, and there was fresh milk, orange juice and cereal bars in a mini fridge, and fresh fruit in the room plus additional breadrolls and other things. Sharon is a very nice host and we had a very nice and relaxed stay there.

Good contact with the host. A large parking in front of the entrance to the room. Spacious room, comfortable bathroom, kettle, coffee maker, prepared products from which we prepared our own breakfast. The contact adapters were a very nice surprise. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

No one around to give key to when they said someone would be.

Clean and beautiful room and bathroom. Room had a refrigarator and continental breakfast that we could enjoy at our own time.

The suite was private and spacious and secure. Though there were no cooking options, there was a small fridge, coffee and tea. Items for a continental breakfast were readily available and accessible, including a selection of fresh fruit.

It wasn't a big problem to us on our stay, but there did not seem to be any heating available. Perhaps it is centrally heated but felt a little cool at times for us Aussies.

Very, very comfortable and well thought out accommodation after a day of driving, with some snacks, drinks and a light breakfast prepared. The pub is a short walk (5mins) down the road where we had a lovely meal and could relax. The location was a handy drive to the local sights that we wanted to see and we had a lovely drive from Dublin to Laragh.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

This was the best property we have stayed at during our 16 day holiday in Ireland. The room was perfect, clean and very spacious. The continental breakfast provided suited us. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.
