De accommodatie was heel goed gelegen op slechts 10 min wandelen van de Menenpoort. De kamer was heel comfortabel en de uitbaters waren uitermate sympathiek. Ook een heel mooi ontbijt. De gelegenheid om de wagen op het terrein van de accommodatie te plaatsen is een ook grote troef.

Het was een fijne locatie aan de rand van Ieper. Onze gastheer was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Had de gordijnen gesloten tegen de hitte, en bracht nog extra fles water Het bed was prima en in de badkamer ontbrak niks. Heerlijke douche. Het ontbijt was prima geregeld, s ochtends in een mand op de afgesproken tijd. Heerlijke koffie. Heerlijke accomodatie om te verblijven

Super goed gelegen om Ieper en omstreken te bezoeken. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Goede bedden en ruime en zeer comfortabele badkamer. Prive parking. Ook in een zeer rustige omgeving gelegen en toch op een steenworp van de Stad Ieper.

Wij misten een klein frigootje op de kamer. Maar dat was echt een detail.

Cheerful and welcoming host, Marcel, who was very easy to deal with. Very good location in a lovely area. We were served a very big breakfast which included eggs, ham, bread rolls pastries fruit coffee juice and even chocolate.

Nette B&B, prijs kwaliteit. Top. Heerlijk en zeker voldoende ontbijt. Heel attent om er een zakje bij te leggen om iets mee te nemen voor onderweg. Heel vriendelijke gastheer, die bij het brengen van het ontbijt een babbeltje kwam doen.

Erg netjes, fijn bed, goed ontbijt en mooie tuin. We werden erg gastvrij ontvangen. Komen we zeker nog eens terug.

A beautiful apartment with private parking. Very comfortable and modern and only a short walk from the Menin Gate. The host, Mark, was very welcoming. A delicious and ample breakfast was delivered to the room daily. This included perfectly boiled eggs from the lovely chickens in the garden. If we visit Ypres in the future, we will definitely stay here again.

Nothing to complain about at all. Everything was perfect.

Sehr gute Lage, freundliche, kontaktfreudige Gastgeber. Perfekte, originelle, geschmackvolle Ausstattung mit Verpflegungsmöglichkeit. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gedeckter Sitzplatz im Garten, wo auch die Fahrräder sicher platziert werden konnten.

The property is a lovely annexe to the owners home. Well appointed, with everything we needed for our two night stay. The breakfasts were included and were amazing. Mark and Pascsline were lovely hosts as well.

Ein liebevoll gestaltetes und eingerichtetes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und separatem Zugang. In perfekter Lage zur Innenstadt (ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg) und ruhiger Lage in einem gepflegten Wohnviertel. Der eigene Parkplatz direkt vir der Tür ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als ausreichend. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und komfortabel. Krönender Abschluss des Ganzen sind die herzlichen Gastgeber, die jeden Morgen zur vereinbarten Zeit ein üppiges Frühstück zum Zimmer bringen, und nach Bedarf auch beste Tips zur Erkundung der Gegend geben. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

What a lovely place in a lovely location with an easy walk into town. We had a very friendly welcome from Mark and Pascaline and their accommodation is beautiful. The room itself has it's own entrance and is quite large. There are two comfortable beds, table and chairs and a wardrobe. Tea making facilities are also in the room. The room has dual aspect with large windows so it is light and airy. The bathroom is modern and has a large shower. Everywhere is so clean. I love the fact that you can enjoy sitting outside the room and look at the beautiful garden. We had breakfast outside in a morning which was brought very punctually by Mark in a basket. The attention to detail was appreciated and the breakfast was plentiful, too much for us to do justice too. We had two hot croissants each and rolls which were wrapped in a cloth with croissant designs on it. Also boiled eggs in egg cups, yoghurt, meat, cheese, butter and jam in a beautiful pot.. Little bottles of milk and juice and a pot of coffee. It was beautifully presented. If I could give this accommodation more than 10 I would, it is perfect for us.

The room was immaculately clean, the gardens and surroundings are beautiful. We loved the breakfast and the hospitality was second to none. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Ypres. 10/10. We look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you for a delightful stay.

La Chambre d'Amis's location was very convenient. It was only a short (flat) walk into Ieper. It had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was exceptional. It was prepared and delivered to the door each morning. The food was fresh and plentiful. Pascaline and Mark were excellent hosts. I stayed here for two nights with my Dad for our recent visit to the Ypres Salient.

Well! What can I say? Beautiful modern well appointed room with very comfortable beds, underfloor heating and ensuite in a private annex to the hosts house with its own parking area and access to a very pleasant garden where two lovely ladies very busy laying our breakfast eggs! The premises are in an affluent and very quiet area of the city just outside the ancient walls about a 10 minute walk from the Menin Gate and the bars and restaurants beyond. A time was arranged for breakfast and sure enough, at 8am, there was a knock on the door. On answering, we found a basket on the doorstep full of breakfast goodies left for us including boiled eggs, meats, local cheese, butter, jam, milk, coffee and warm breads and crousants. It would have easily fed four people! Our three nights there were wonderful and we intend to go again next year.

If visiting Ypres I would highly recommend these premises. The rooms and facilities are very good. The breakfast left outside the door in a basket is exceptional. The premises are an easy 10 minute walk to the Menin gate.

The host and location of the house were brilliant. The breakfast is excellent, beautifully served, enough for 4 people. It is brought to you in your room. Superb bathroom and Comfy beds. I can find no fault with anything. It’s very well positioned for driving to the local war graves

Very nice, cosy and clean room just outside the city center of Ieper. Breakfast was great and served in a basket in front of the door. Due to the weather we could enjoy having breakfast in front of the room in the lovely garden.

That Air condition system was not perfect for winter, because every 30 minutes you should press the button of air conditioner,

Clean and warm, comfortable bed. Quiet outside so slept well during the night. Owners very helpful and kind and provided us with useful information about sites to see and things to do around the area. They also provided us with a beautiful breakfast hamper each morning at a time of our choosing, which contained generous amounts of food and the bread was warm. The eggs were from their chickens and there was homemade jam among many other things including chocolate which was a nice touch. There was plenty of reading material in different languages in the room and also plentiful supplies of tea and coffee. Their friendly cat used to greet us each day. We felt at home.

Mark & Pascaline were terrific. Helpful, kind, professional. The property was clean, comfortable, modern, just spectacular. The location 20mins walk from the beautiful town of Leper. We loved the chickens in the garden, the family cat is our best new friend. Oh and the breakfast was delicious and lots of it. Couldn't stop eating.
