Piękne pokoje z tradycyjnymi dekoracjami, co mi się bardzo podobało. Dostałem lepszy pokój, gdyż akurat był okres poza sezonem, a wiele pokoi było wolnych. Było to bardzo miłe ze strony gospodarzy. Bardzo chciałbym podziękować obsłudze, a szczególnie właścicielowi, którego imienia niestety nie znam. Dzięki niemu dowiedziałem się wiele cennych informacji, a ponadto pomógł mi on w zorganizowaniu transportu do Pelling, za co jestem ogromnie wdzięczny. Do tego wszystkiego pyszne jedzenie.

During my visit to Sikkim, I stayed at Sherpas Adobe Homestay, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The view from my room was absolutely stunning and made my stay even more memorable. Once we reached the property everything was great. We arrived after sunset and so it was a little scary getting there with limited visibility due to the mist.

I wish I could stay more

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The service was very good, and the staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay. The owner was a very decent and humble person who made us feel welcome and ensured that everything was comfortable for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The position of the TV was not in front of the bed, which made viewing uncomfortable.

Me and my partner stayed at Sherpas Abode for three days. Nima sir helped us from before we even got to Gangtok! He offered to help us with travel (at a very reasonable price) and made sure we arrived safely. Once we arrived, he also helped us plan our trip - telling us where to go, when to go, how to go and the amount we would need to do the same. He even bumped us to a better room just because. The food made in his house was also quite tasty and light- and he made sure we got to eat and drink local things. Finally, the views from the room were amazing. We fell asleep to the sight of Gangtok veiled in mist and fog. It was really pretty. Please visit if possible- the reviews here truly don't lie!

Truly there was nothing we did not like. We were so happy with the homestay owners and managers that small discomforts were made unimportant.

Exceptional and so serene and peaceful place, it is on the way to Nathula pass. The view from balcony is outstanding and they serve homemade healthy food which you would like. Our family stayed for 2 days and we really enjoyed our stay. Hospitality and attentiveness to detail is best about it.

Since we came in the monsoon season, we would see fog outside but the property has no demerits.

The polite and courteous behaviour of Sherpa Sir is excellent.Its truly a homestay with tasty home food and breakfast.He provided us with the breakfast in the early morning at 5 a.m with a smiling face.His way of welcoming us and taking care of smaller needs was amazing.

I stayed at Sherpa's adobe with my parents. The stay was comfortable and I must say Mr Sherpa is a great host. The helping staff is also very polite and helping. The stay slightly far from the main city but you won't regret staying here. The city view is breathtaking and much quite in comparison to the main city. Would definitely book this stay if I visit Gantok again.

Mr. Sherpa is very helpful and friendly. Right from when u are about to reach Gangtok to until you are leaving, he ensures that you are safe and checks-in to see if you need any help. He gave suggestions about the nearby places to visit and arranges trips to north sikkim, etc. Rooms are spacious, neat and has room service is good.

Their commitment to customer satisfaction is worth emulating.we were absolutely at home far away from our real home.Cleanliness, personal attention to all our needs including food were outstanding.we will strongly recommend this place for our friends and relatives. Mr Nima supported actively in the choice of places to visit including offering their winter clothes and oxygen cylinder.

1. The hosts Nimaji and his wife were amazing. .sweet, kind, warm and welcoming. We got to hear them about their lives and about local sikkimese life which was wonderful. 2. The food they served was wonderful... local sikkim home food with all the warmth of a home cooked meal 3. Staff is super helpful and very sweet 4. The views from the balconies were wonderful 5. We stayed at 3 places in sikkim and while the others were impersonal hotels, this was was the highlight in terms.of hospitality. We had picked the homestay knowing that it's away from central gangtok (m.g. marg etc) so plan for local taxis to go to MG road and back The hosts helped us with all of this and ensured to go to and fro back comfortably. It felt like we had someone looking out for us while we were there :)

The property is a bit far from Gangtok town, which means a quiet atmosphere for relaxation but one would need a cab ride to get to the town for shopping / etc.

Staying at Sherpa's Abode was a truly heartwarming experience. Uncle, Aunty, and the entire staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like part of their family. Aunty's food was hands down the best we've had during our trip—every meal was cooked with so much love and care. Their adorable dogs, Shelly and Caesar, added to the charm of our stay. They were incredibly friendly and made us feel even more at home. The warmth, love, and hospitality we experienced here are unmatched. Good home cooked food, both for breakfast and dinner which I choose to eat at the homestay. The hosts and his wife were very friendly, helped me to the best experience I could get from a 3 day stay in Gangtok, including a hike in the wildlife sanctuary. I looked for a quite place a way from the hassel and noice in the senter. I got a beautiful room with a beautiful viuw, just what I needed. I was traveling alone.

Liked everything there. Uncle and Aunty were awesome. Sangjami and her sister are too cute. Rooms were super clean. It was like I am staying at my home. Moreover, the location of the homestay is advantageous for those who want to visit Nathula since this homestay is situated on nathula road.

There's nothing to dislike. Only concern is for people with difficulty in climbing steps will have little issue as they will need to climb few steps to go to the homestay. Though it was not very difficult steps to climb but better to be aware of it.

The food was great - your choice of local or a more Western offering. We couldn't rate this accomodation highly enough.

Special shout out to Nima ji who not only checked in on me and my daughter but also ensured that we planned our trip to North Sikkim in the most efficient way. He was gracious to call in a friend and arrange our stay there and this helped us a lot because of the tricky infrastructure in North Sikkim! He looked after our safety, arranged for trusted cab pick ups and homestays, called in regularly to see if we were doing okay, thereby making our trip hassle and anxious free to which I'm ever so grateful! The entire place and view is excellent. Uncle and Aunty are the best part of the stay. The way they took care of us and their kindness made our heart heavy while checking out.

Very good hospitality and good quality food is provided by the hosts. Comfortable property away from the hustle bustle of the city.

The location of the property has its pros and cons. The pro is that it is away from the chaos of the main town and it is peaceful but the problem is that you need to depend on the hosts to book a cab for you and it costs Rs. 300-500 to go to the main town for any activity.

The whole stay is just indescribable! The room had the most amazing breathtaking view! The whole experience just exceeded my expectations! The host were too kind enough to cook our favorite dish. They made us feel as if it was our own home. I am going to definitely visit yearly twice just for the room, facilities, view, host, their home cooked food.

Location is great if you prefer being a little bit away from the noise of the city. We absolutely absolutely loved the location. You can avail shared taxi for Rs. 50 per person to go to MG Marg. Great location to start your Nathula journey early. The hosts of the homestay are true gems of people you rarely meet in the hospitality industry. They are genuinely happy and helpful people. Both uncle and aunty made our stay memorable. Aunty cooks amazing food, and uncle is very resourceful for a comfortable stay.

The rooms have best views of gangtok and its so nice and cozy. And aunty cooks the most amazing food we had in our entire Sikkim trip. Uncle and Aunty are very gem of a persons with their guest.

Everything!! The Sherpa family are amazing, and the staff at the hotel go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views

Sherpa uncle and his family members are really awesome. Their behaviour, their help in each and every moments are just excellent. We stayed at Queen room which is beautiful. The view from this room is excellent. Food quality is excellent. They have treated us like their family members.

The kind of experience we had during our stay at Sherpas Abode with Neema uncle & Chunki aunty was truly memorable. Personal care, amazing food, good company and bliss among the mountains. This is a highly recommended experience if you want to experience the beauty of Gangtok in the company of lovely people. Even the travel comfort provided by Passang & team was lovely. One word… Don’t miss this one!

Everything. Super clean. These guys paid attention to every single detail. From the plumbing to electrical wiring work, they’ve done it right. But that’s not even the best part. It’s the hospitality. Uncle Nima and Aunt made us feel like we visited a relatives home. You’re not gonna get service like this even on a 4 star hotel. I’ve never felt more welcomed at an inn. Uncle Nima even called our room as soon as we got back from MG Marg to check on us. When he told us to call him even from the next town we’re heading to if we needed help, you know he means it. Not to mention, aunty cooks so good. Everything she made was tasty and spot on. An unbelievable experience. I’m so glad I met them both. The next time I come, I’m staying much longer.
